Zero MDC

Unless otherwise specifically stated in a specific Borg Type, when a Full Conversion Borg's Main Body M.D.C. is reduced to zero, the body is effectively destroyed. The emergency systems will kick in and keep the brain and remaining living organs running for 36 hours.

If the body is recovered during this time, then the brain, organs and other organic parts can be moved into another cybernetic or bionic body.

To completely destroy the Borg, one must do an additional 125 M.D.C. damage below zero to the Borg's body.

The body will not explode, unless there is a self-destruct system in place. Otherwise, when negative 125 M.D.C. is reached the unit will just be in destroyed pieces.
