Wound healing

If you wish to heal a friend (or even yourself) with magic or psionics you need to either contact a staffer online, @mail staff, or even better, put in a queue under legwork and do the actual roll(s) necessary with a staffer present to witness them and make the changes.
If no one on staff witnesses it, you can RP it out all you like, but it will have -no- effect on that person's healing time as it was not an event staff can properly account for as having been done or not.
The same policy applies to things such as the use of stimpacks, healing protein salve etc. When the damage being healed is simply RPed damage it's one thing, as there's no 'actual' damage. But in cases where there is actual injury inflicted upon a PC by staff, we actually do in fact keep track of HP and SDC recovery as it differs from 'untreated' (nothing is done about it) 'treated' (basic home care, healing salve etc) and 'professionally treated' (IE Hospital), and Magical/Psionic/other (Flat xdx regenerated almost instantly, stimpacks, weird alien life saving devices, RL sexual favours and bribes for staff etc)
Wounds and You:
Due to this being a real time game injuries will take a little longer to heal than in a normal tabletop game.
HP damage MUST be healed before SDC damage can be healed.
SDC represents largely damage such as bruises, superficial cuts, wounds to the body that do not bleed for long etc.
HP represents open and heavily bleeding wounds, damaged bones and organs, internal bleeding etc.
Any time your HP goes to half or less of your total HP it is -automatically- a serious bleeding wound that causes a loss of 1hp per minute. It is posible for a wound to cause steady HP loss without even affecting your SDC such as attacks that go directly to HP (Garrotte attacks for example).

Untreated Wound:
HP: Wound does not heal. 5% cumulative chance per day of being untreated that wound will become infected causing the loss of 1 HP per day. Wound may also still be bleeding at standard rate of up to 1hp per minute.
SDC: Wound heals 1 SDC per day
Cost: Free. No one is doing anything for you. Not even yourself.
Non Professional Treatment
(basic first aid, at least one application of magical or psionic healing, or use of a stimpack):
HP: Wound heals 2 HP per day
SDC: Wound heals 4 SDC per day
Cost: 100cr for a basic intial treatment that promotes natural healing of wounds. Requires upkeep treatment every few days to change bandages at a 25cr cost.
Professional Treatment
(Hospital, Doctor checking on you every day etc):
HP: 2 HP per day for the first 2 days in hospital, and the 4 HP every day there after.
SDC: 6 SDC Per day.
Cost: 200cr a day.
Special:
Protien Healing Salve: +50cr per day. Doubles healing rate of current treatment type. Prevents infection in untreated wounds. Also sold in 8 ounce tubes for 100cr each. 20 applications of -small- wounds (light burns, cuts etc). Larger wounds require more applications to cover a single wound for a day.
IRMSS: Equal to 2 days healing time in a hospital. On a successful roll, cures interal bleeding, minor fractures etc. Must use at least 1 application per serious wound (Bone fracture, ruptured organ etc).
RAU: Equal to 2 days of professonal healing. 4 charges per (8 charges total in a set). Must use 1 charge per wound treated. Replacement cartridges cost 60cr each.
RMK: Equal to 2 days of non professional healing. 4 charges. Must use 1 charge per wound treated. Replacemetn cartridges cost 60cr each.
Psychich Surgery: Can instantly mend broken bones, internal injuries, remove bullets, help bring a character out of a coma etc. Does NOT regenerate HP. Causes a wound to become treated as non profesisonal treatment and will heal naturally so long as the wounds are properly dressed etc. 200+ credits per 'cast'.
Bio-Regeneration: Can only be used on the psychich's own body. Stops bleeding, knits broken bones, internal injuries etc. Near instant regeneration of HP and SDC (See ability in question). Causes a wound to count as Non Professional Treatment.
Stimpack: Same as Bio-Regeneration. 6,000-200,000+ depending on stimpak used. Counts as Non Professional Treatment of a wound. Regenerates lost HP/SDC at listed rate for type of stimpack used.
Magical Healing: As per spell used. Counts as Non Professional Treatment. 200+ credits depending on spell(s) used. Cost is per cast.
Cost Modifiers:
Self Treatment: -40% to base treatment costs. This represents used drugs, bandages, salve etc. This discount does NOT apply to items such as IRMSS, RMK, RAU, Stimpacks and other one shot devices. There is no materials cost for things such as magical or psionic healing, as they are fueled by PPE or ISP alone and require no additional items unless the spell/ability dictates otherwise.
Player Character Treatment: Depends on what they want to charge you, if anything. Treatment of others still accumulates materials cost the same as Self Treatment.
