Question: Would ice or snow will effect a vampire?
Answer: Ice and Snow will not effect a vampire, though if there is any melting going on at the time the 'running' water would harm them and be very bad for a Vampire.
Question:Can a vampire detect they are being telepathically probed?
Answer: Telepathy would work the same way as with any other individual, if you think you are being probed you can back probe. But as with the description, you will have to think someone is doing it and make your save. Then you could attack back.
Question:Does body armor affect metamorphosis abilities of a vampire?
Answer: Yes. I would say that anything which is EBA will stop a vampires ability to metamorphosis into animals of any kind, though they could gas form but would be trapped inside of the EBA. A light suit of non-EBA armor or perhaps armored clothing could be transformed with the rest of the body. Light non-EBA would be the 30 to 50 MDC range, though it would need to not be a full suit. More like a chest plate and skirt, or something of that nature. As for equipment, I will state you have to owned it and carried it for at least 3 days. This will indicate it as yours. Thus it will transform with you, but if you just picked up something. Or own something you down wear or use very often, it won't be included in items which will transform with you.
Question:How does the spell Dessicate the Supernatural affect a vampire?
Answer: It basically destroys the blood and PPE that is in the Vampire. It doesn't attack the water in the vampire. The spell its self kind of indicates this to some degree. The vampire can not regenerate until they draw life energy from another source. They can't kill a vampire, but it can affectively turn a non-staked vampire into a staked vampire. As they can not regenerate until they feed. So, if a vampire is reduced to -21 hp, it will go dormant as if staked. Until someone pours blood on it.
Question: A quick question to clarify magic/magic weapons vs vampires. Magic weapons deal full damage to HP, while MD elemental energy spells deal half. What, exactly, is a "magic weapon?" Would a TW weapon or some other spell-enhanced weapon be treated as the appropriate spell or a "magic weapon?" What of those that are not elemental-based, such as TK firearms?
Answer: Magic Weapons and TW Weapons both have the ability to inflict damage to a vampire, but it depends on what type of Magic Weapon or TW Weapon. TW Weapons which inflict fire, lighting, or non-water based other element damage inflict half damage. TW Weapons which are telekinetic based wouldn't inflict any damage as they are basically bullets.
True magical weapons are few and far in between. They are weapons which are truly magical based weapons and would inflict damage directly to a Vampires HP. This would be a magically enchanted melee weapon or bow.
Of course water based magic does a fairly large amount of damage.
Quesiton: I'm sorry, I can't seem to find this anywhere and even other PC experts don't know the answer. How do the undead (particularly vampires) respond to Neural Maces and my 'taser' gun (which is just a ranged neural mace, effectively)?
Answer: Most Undead (Zombies, Mummies, and Vampires) are immune to the effects of knockout/stun attacks. This is in the descriptions of the Create Mummy and Create Zombie spells, and listed for vampires in WB 1, p24/25.
Question: Just curious. Can a vampire ever choose to just let a blood slave go?
Answer: There are several ways for a blood slave to be released. kill the blood slave, kill the Vampire which created the blood slave, or if the Vampire exceed their limit of slaves. The oldest one will find themselves released.
Another way, is if an Vampire of similar type tries to turn a Blood Slave of another vampire into their blood slave. This would require a saving throw on behalf of the blood slave. One for each of the three bites. If one fails, the process would start over.
