Sound Filtration System

Question: Flash-bang grenades (stun/flash) operate obviously on one big bang, and one big flash (pg 98, WB 11, Coalition War Machine). I'm wondering if cybernetic implanted Sound Filtration Systems, which purposefully dampen loud explosions, etc., might not add some kind of 'save bonus' against stun grenades or reducing their effects. I'm *not* pushing for this, it's just something that came up, and seems to have some logic behind it.

ANSWER: Based on the description of the Stun/Flash Grenade p98 WB 11, I would rule that someone with the Sound Filtration Systems would be effected similar to someone in armor. So it would effect someone with a Sound Filtration System for 1D2 actions and lose Initiative.

This is a slight change, based on the house rule here [[1]]


Question: Does the effects of a cybernetic Sound Filtration system combine with EBA?

ANSWER: No, it does not. The Sound Filtration or EBA has blocked all of the audio portion that can be, the flash is not supressed.
