Background
She is the first generation from Russia to be born and grow up here, and some of the differences between her people and the surrounding areas made it hard as a youngster. Teasing from others because of her slight accent drew fierce responses from her, protective and determined. She responded with force, fighting anyone who suggested anything negative about her people.
Gradually, that fierce protectiveness turned into a resentment at being different, and she turned towards the streets to find her own personality. The gangs were a source of income and encouragement, to find her own feet, and she did, learning the routes and running messages and packages for the Family. Her belief that the gangs could provide a way to feel part of the city, to stop feeling other, separate, is strong, and she intends to make a career of it.
Description
A petite girl in her late teens, standing a brush over five foot, with dark hair loose around her shoulders. A heavy fringe falls down to just past her eyebrows. It may have started the day combed but now, it is ruffled, as if someone has put their hand through it repeatedly. Wide, startled looking grey eyes peer out from beneath it, and her jaw-line is not a hard one, but has a hint of determination in the set.
She is dressed sensibly, a heavy wool coat with yellow and green lines in squares over the black material, over her faded blue jeans, and a cream top with black hatches over it, and black trim at the end of the above elbow sleeves. Over the jeans, she wears black leather boots, worn and scuffed, that reach her mid-calf. (OOC: MA: 15 PB: 15)

A teenager living with Zero in the Cheapo Apartments, Sofiya was a runner for one of the gangs. She tries to be tough, believing in what she was doing but a little incident with a bomb had put her out of a job until Zero, Sebastien and she worked a trap to show the real plotter. She is filling time by serving food at Rasputin's deli, and working for the Vigilantes. She grew up in Little Russia in the Dregs, her parents having emigrated before she was born.
