Sithik offers the woman a more formal bowing of his head in greeting, "Only briefly in passing." his attention seeming to drift to the truck just brought in as he sips on his warm beverage before looking over to Tek. "Should I leave you two to speak business, I can always come back."

Tek smiles and shakes his head, "Don't be silly Sithik. I still need to get those measurements from you. But give me just a moment or two my friend. There are some doughnuts in the small fridge behind the counter if you are hungry." then looking back to Sage, "Ohh she is a Beaut... Ain't she?" the rhetorical question might make one think he is referring to Rubidia until they saw how he was looking at the APC while saying it, "You can come take a quick tour if you want? I have some ideas for the back storage area. I am thinking that the stools that are at the bar should have a seatback for support as it will be moving. Also some kind of plush couch area. Did you have any ideas?"

Sage nods faintly in agreement with the just in passing meetings, before offering a slight shrug to the question about whether Sithik should leave. "I think it may be more curiosity than anything else." She replies, before glancing back to Tek. "I imagine beauty is in the eye of the beholder." She replies with a little humor, "I suppose I could take a peek to see if any ideas come, but I imagine I may have my own expansion plans." She comments, "It could provide more enjoyable than trying to figure out some other matters that seem to have hit a dead end."

Sithik gives a simple nod to the mechanic, having no problem with being patient while he discusses business with Sage. He does seem to pay attention to the conversation out of curiosity mostly, and it's not often he gets an up close look on technology like this. He respectfully keeps his distance as Tek give Sage the tour of the large vehicle, content to get his look from where he is.

Tek notices Sithiks interest and waves him over has the rear doors open up wide giving full access, "Well I definitely want to enclose the drivers compartment to keep it separate from back here. The bar will go up front maybe and a couch here and another over there. If you are a gear head I can show you her bread and butter?"

Sage wanders over as the tour is offered, but her manner suggests more a polite interest than anything else. "Yeah, I can understand that if you're going to be using this more as a transport than a military unit." She comments with a slight nod, "But, I'm not much of a gear head myself." She admits.

Sithik comes over for the tour once invited, finding the vehicle quite interesting being much different than the ones used where he is from. "What are you turning it into? Is it not ready as it is?" looking over the weapon systems available to this monster.

Tek nods to Sage and then chuckles, "Well it is "ready" per say... but it is an investment for me... and eighty K one at that. But Fizzlesnoot and Rubidia talked me into the idea of turning it into a transport of such. A way to take the more well to do clientele safe passage to and from the Lady Luck. Do either of you have any questions about her or want to see anything closer?"

Sage hms and nods, "I've made similar investments... even if it is for land or property." She comments, "And, it was from Rubidia that I heard about it being used as a transport." She comments, "Or perhaps even occasionally as a well-appointed vehicle for missions away." She muses.

Sithik moves closer, climbing inside the back to look around, looking back to Tek, "What is its mode of propulsion? And do you mind if I check out the cockpit?" a glance to Sage as well being by the sound of it, she is involved somehow maybe.

Tek nods to Sage, "Yes property is good. I have recently taken over Uncommon Mechanics. I have even hired a couple mechanics." which draws his attention to the girl that was driving the tow truck who has already unhooked and parked the tow truck and is waving goodbye as she pulls away from the shop on a motorcycle. As Sithik catches his attention Tek smiles and waves him on, "Go on ahead check it out, and this tracked beast is a diesel, and she purs like new."

Sage's lips curl faintly as a little surprise takes her features, "That's good to hear that you're doing well." She replies, "If my own business becomes the other end of the transport to the Lady Luck, I may be able to justify an expansion that I've been thinking of doing." She comments, "Oh, come to think of it, I'm not sure if I can be of much help with this." She gestures vaguely to the vehicle, "But, you may be able to help me with those missing Elves."

Sithik climbs up into the cockpit and gives the controls a good examination, figuring out its capabilities. Most of it unfortunately is unfamiliar to him, but it does strike his curiosity. "Is operating this something you can teach?" looking back over his shoulder from the pilot's seat to Tek. "A vehicle would definitely save my strength for other things rather than using it for transportation." The comment of missing elves catches his ear, "Perhaps I can help, I am a capable hunter." he offers with a helpful tone.

Tek seems truly excited as he replies to Sage, "Well I am counting on both of your businesses to do really well so my side transportation piece does really well." a chuckle can be heard as he talks but it is apparent he is serious having already stepped up to the plate with the APC. Looking up to Sithik Tek shakes his head, "I only know how to drive this by merging with it so unfortunately I cannot teach its operation to you though it is a common skill that I am sure you can find someone who can teach you. There are some other options as well. When you get some cash up let me know and we can talk specifics." As the conversation moves to the elves Tek nods to Sage and Sithik and adds, "More like wrongfully taken slaves to a Merc group... I was hoping something new would come up. Possibly Sithik can help us. If you like we can take this meeting inside where we will be a bit more comfortable."

Sage offers a smile to Tek, "Then, I guess I will be seeing about an expansion. I have a couple ideas already... even if Rubidia did offer a suggestion." She comments before she glances between the two men. "Well, we tried to follow hints of that map, but the positions themselves don't seem to have turned anything up." She comments before slipping the bag off her shoulder. "This contains some of the items we've found."

Sithik climbs out of the vehicle to come talk more intimately with the others rather than yelling from inside the beast of a truck. He can also see what was brought much better, "So you basically have items, but no other information of either the elves or the mercenaries?"

Tek starts walking back into the shop waves the other two on so they know to follow, "I also have an item in here. The lighting is much better over on a bench." leading the others into the shop Tek retrieves a staff and lays it on the table. "Well we know that mercs have taken them but we are not sure where else to look to find them. Do you have any skills that might help Sithik?"

"We have a little information on both, actually." Sage replies, "We know where they've been taken from... a couple items from an Elderly Elf that came here looking for help... but, the sort of map we have on this matter has left a little to be desired." She comments with a shrug.

Sithik shrugs, "Perhaps I can analyze the items and something noting a potential location might be found. Otherwise, the items can only help me if I am within fifteen miles of the owners." with Sage's information, "What is wrong with the map? Is it not accurate?"

Tek shakes his head but lets Sage explain the issue with the map.

"I can give you direction to the settlement that they were taken from, but it appears they have been taken quite a distance from it." Sage explains, "But, the map is a bit more tricky. It will only show points with no landscape or scale to know where the points are exactly. We have estimated two of the spots that we haven't already been to.... but nothing was readily seen." She explains, before shrugging faintly.

Sithik nods seeming to understand the situation, "I can cover much ground, if you'd be willing to part with the map temporarily, I could scout the distances to prepare for, as well as get an initial assessment of the prey. It should only take a few days to a few weeks to scout."

Tek smiles as the hunter agrees to help, "I am all for free enterprise but slavery is just wrong. I am still in. Lets save these poor folk."

"I have included a copy of what we have figured out where the dots are supposed to be located." Sage replies, "I didn't bring the original one with me." She adds before she offers over the bag with the items: a girl's dress, a spoon that's been used as a chair leg, and their figuring of the map dot locations."

Sithik takes note of all the items, "I take it the dress and spoon are items belonging to the ones taken as slaves?" looking over the map, giving her a chance to answer.

Sage nods, "The dress and spoon were taken from the place they were taken from." She comments, "There are other people in the settlement now as well." She mentions before gesturing to the map. One dot is suspected to be Kingsdale, one of them is the settlement, the other spots don't have a clear indication of what they're supposed to represent.

Sithik nods, "I will find out what all the dots mean and contact Tek, he knows how to reach you I assume."
