The bay doors at Uncommon Mechanics are wide open even at this hour. The weather is wonderful still so it seems Tek is enjoying it while it lasts. Two tow trucks sit in the parking lot with 'Robo-Tek Towing' on the side. A GAW-M113 APC takes up most of the largest bays while a hover truck is in the process of being converted into another tow truck takes up another bay. Tek is at a table with what looks like a shop vacuum taken apart into hundreds of pieces. A holo-camera sits just to the side, while paper schematics lay sprawled all over the place. Tek sits in front of a computer his eyes closed and the screen seems to be flipping through what looks to be a parts catalog if one gets close enough. As usual fresh coffee can be smelled and rock and roll music is playing over the speakers in the shop.

Sithik happens by, still using the concealing clothing to make his identity less noticeable. It's not a great disguise, it’s actually pretty pathetic, but he does stand out much less than before. Those that actually know him will still be able to spot him, seems like this is meant for casual onlookers. With the bay doors wide open, he calls out as he enters, "Tek, you in here?" spotting the mechanic as he comes around the large APC, "Came by to practice."

Tek looks up when he hears Sithik speak up, "Ahh Sithik... good good, let me save my work and we can head down to the hospital. I pulled some strings and they are going to let us into their simulation lab for a little while so you can learn to read that style of sensory equipment as well."

Sithik nods, "Sounds good, I am getting tired of aircraft and maps." a dry attempt at humor maybe. "What are you working on there? Looks like a vacuum cleaner."

Sithik adds, "I would like you to work on my rifle as well. But I need it returned quickly."

Tek looks down to his project that has not quite taken off as of yet, "Well yes it will be a vacuum of sorts. I am still working on the specifics but the goal will be a robotic vacuum that will be able to clean the shop of its own accord." Looking back up he answers, "Well that all depends, what kind of rifle and what modifications you are looking to get done?"

Sithik pulls out from under his robes a JA-12 laser rifle with grenade launcher. "This weapon. I need it to be silent and more accurate. Due to my current tasks at hand, I need it finished as quickly as possible."

Tek looks to the weapon and smiles, "Ohh yea... what a beautiful piece of equipment. Sure I can hook you up, what all would you like to increase the accuracy?"

Sithik replies, "I have eight thousand to put into it, the best you can do for that. Silence is a must, accuracy secondary."

Tek nods and takes the rifle back to a locker and locks it up, "I will get back with you with a quote before I start the work." then motioning to the Land Rover, "Ready to head to the hospital? I will let you navigate."

Sithik nods moving over to the passenger spot, "Ready when you are."

Tek jumps in the driver’s seat and starts her up, "Lead the way..."

Sithik switches on all the sensor equipment and sets himself up to navigate the way to the hospital. This is a path already known so he will be forcing himself to rely solely on technology. "Make your way to the gates. West." with all the practice, this equipment and setup is starting to come more naturally to him.

Tek heads towards the gate, which is not so busy at this hour.

Sithik watches his screen and when they get close to the gates, "About 100 yards turn south through the gates." using his hood to keep his gaze focused on the technology and not his visual recollection.

Tek eases the Rover south after they get in the gates and continues until Sithik corrects him though he is only going the speed limit.

Sithik goes through some of the functions verifying the course he wants to take to get there. Once he thinks he has the way he wants to go, "Just keep south for a few blocks, we'll be heading east when we do turn." continuing to rely solely on the sensor and navigational equipment of the vehicle.

Tek has to stop a couple of times for traffic and pedestrians but does continue south.

Sithik points out on the screen, using the weapon scope to zoom in on a wreck up ahead, "Might want to keep over on the left. Radar shows vehicle moving through better on that side of things." as they get closer looks like a ground truck clipped the underside of a hover car or the hover car clipped the top of the truck. Hard to say how it happened, but the hover car is atop the truck and partially through the cargo portion of the box truck.

Tek immediately switches lanes while there is an opening. Then he gets on the radio, "Tek calling Kaylee... Kaylee come in. Over" --- a female voice crackles over the radio in response, "This is Kaylee, Tek go ahead... Over" Tek replies, "Looks like there is money to be made if you like. I am just south of the Merchants Plaza and there is an accident, looks like it is fresh. If you are interested hurry up if not contact Rocko and give him a shot at it. Over" The radio goes silent after that and Tek looks over to Sithik, "Thanks for the heads up. Am I going to continue south from here?"

Sithik replies, "Yes, keep south, I will let you know when to change course."

Tek nods and continues south.

Sithik goes over the navigation again as they pass the accident and get back on their way, "Looks like just another block before we will be turning east. You sure about heading into the Dregs again?"

Tek looks over to Sithik with a scowl, "I am in the Rover this time and you are with me. And if this city really ahs gotten this bad it might be time to either retake the city or move on. I mean we are going to the hospital for gods sake." with that he continues south.

Sithik nods making sure to keep tabs on the traffic in their path, "Just making sure, for some reason it has been stirred up. Many more random attacks, for no purpose. I have spent much time in these parts of late, feels like something is brewing. Up ahead, at that larger building there, turn east. Traffic is thinning on the radar once we turn."

Tek nods and continues up and to the east.

Sithik keeps his focus on the equipment, almost flying blind except for the technology he uses to guide them, "Another block east."

Tek keeps the two moving along.

Sithik keeps more of a watch on the radar as they cross the lie of civilization and enter into the dregs, "You'll be turning south again, about 300 yards up. Then keep going south till ya spot it."

Tek follows along and turns south, "Sounds good. How’s the radar?"

Sithik gives it a once over, "Looks like just some small vehicle traffic, but nothing that looks unusual. And no other active radar's. I've been checking it since we entered."

Tek nods as he continues south, "Alright. Just let me know when we are there, Mr. do it all with just the sensors." he gives a chuckle

Sithik finally looks up from the screens to verify his suspicions, "There it is. Just up ahead. I think I'm finally getting the hang of this."

Tek chuckles and says, "Good job. I think you are. The machines in here are going to be a whole new thing. Come on lets see how you do."

Sithik follows Tek inside, unsure where they are going, he is about a half step behind. "I am familiar with very rudimentary medical attention, perhaps they will not be so different."

Tek says, "Well I can't teach you to treat people only how to read the equipment." as he walks to the receptionist who directs him to a classroom.

Sithik follows into the classroom and awaits Tek to direct him, "So what is first and what is the purpose of the device we will be using?"

Tek motions for the hunter to take a seat at a desk as he makes his way up to the computer in the front of the room. "Well we are going to just go over these pieces of equipment on the projector first and then I will pull them up on the holo-projector and quiz you. Do you need paper and pencil or anything to take notes or?" Tek does not actually touch anything when he gets up there but the computers and equipment whir to life as if on their own accord.

Sithik shakes his head, "I do not need such things, training is shown or told where I am from. The images and your explanation should be sufficient."

Tek begins his non-rehearsed lecture. He stumbles a couple times but this material is not exactly his main knowledge base. But after his lecture he does test Sithik using the holo-projector. A couple hours later Tek says, "Well that’s it my friend. You should be all up to speed. You can navigate us back if you like but that is all the time we have left for this classroom."

Sithik listens to the instructions on the medical sensory equipment, asking more questions due to not being able to actually handle the device being explained, he eventually gets it enough to pass the drilling Tek gives. When all is said and done, "Thank you Tek, I appreciate the time. If you don't mind, I will be staying in the area unless you wish an escort out of the bad part of town."

Tek shakes his head, "Well I was sort of counting on you coming back to the shop. I need to get some readings from you to know the dimensions for the custom grip I am quoting you on. But if you do not have the time you can swing by when you do, I am there more often now that I took it over."

The bay doors to Uncommon Mechanics open as Tek's Land Rover pulls in. A tow truck with a snazy paint job that says 'Robo-Tek Towing' on the side is backing a box truck into the parking lot. It looks like something crashed into the top of this truck the damage seems extensive. Tek gets on the radio, "Hey Kaylee, glad to see you scored that job. I will clear the APC out of the other bay so you have room to work on her." with that Tek gets out of the drivers seat and climbs up on top of the GAW-M113 Improved APC and after closing his eyes for a moment it starts backing out of the garage. Tek jumps down once it is parked.

With a bag slung over her shoulder, Sage makes her way over to Tek's location. She considers the new additions to the garage and one of the things that has been brought to her attention to the APC. Her lips pursing as she notices it and lets her thoughtful gaze wander over it.

Sithik climbs out of the passenger side of the rover, still keeping to his lame disguise. Going for a cup of that coffee that is always brewing. "I see you got that radio call out just in time. Appears it was a good day to go out training." once his cup is filled, he pulls back the veil to sip from the cup. As he turns to head back to Tek's workbench he notices Sage as she enters, offering a silent nod in her direction.

The tow truck backs the box truck in skillfully as Tek walks up to Sage, "Ahh Sage. It is good to see you. Would you like to come inside? I wanted to thank you again for training me in boxing I had a blast." then as he turns towards the open bay and notices Sithik he adds as an after thought, "Have you met Sithik before?" his hand motioning to the man who is sipping on coffee.

Sage's gaze shifts over to Tek, before letting a faint smile comes to her lips. "Hey Tek." She replies, "I heard you and Fizzlesnoot had an idea with an APC... and possibly including my own company as a gathering spot." She adds, "I figured I'd drop by... and it is nice to see you as well. I'm glad I could help you with that too." She comments, before looking to the other person. "Yes, I think we've met once or twice."
