The club is a liberal mix of modern and classic styles with a dark, warm lean to the hardwood and metal decor, dressed up with velvet and leather. Set up about the stage with attached DJ station and dance floor at the center, the entrance is set to one end of this, the bar to the other. The entrance itself is tightly controlled. There are always two well dressed people at the front, a bouncer to check each person coming in and another watching the drum and closet lockers that hold all patron weapons.

A broad , semi circular stage extends from the center of the widest wall, rising two feet, with lights rimming the edge and hidden in scaffolds high above. A rich red velvet curtain lies ready to sweep about and veil the stage itself from view. The DJ booth is set up right next to the stage, set into the same wall. With a thick window and biometric locks on the two side doors, one to the stage and the other to a set of stairs down, the equipment within is secure. Within a C shaped desk and racks hold the sound equipment, all linked into a central computer. All done up in sleek, dark cases, mixing well with the warm, wood paneling of the booth's exterior.

A dance floor is central to the club, laid out in a broad circle before the stage. Laid out in a semi circle opposite the stage side of the dance floor are a series of round tables, with smaller two person sized ones at the edge, with larger four person tables in the next row and a few grand six to eight person tables on the outer edge. All staggered to make for the best view for all to the dance floor and stage. To one side of this central focus is the bar, a broad affair taking up much of the shorter wall in width. The bar itself is a mix of modern and classic, with the simple, elegant hardwood design of the bar itself mixing with the display of alcohol behind it, opaque plastic shelves lit from within to highlight the wide selection of common and uncommon liquors for sale. The barstools themselves, lined up in a neat row, mix dark metallic stems with comfy red leather seats.

The early hours of the morning and the club is still busy enough to feel crowded. The music is more smoochy and half the dance floor is getting loved up. The other half are either trying to get so, or ignoring those around them. Maya seems to be in the latter group, her usual style of dance applied to the softer, slower movement. Her pigtails match the rhythm of her bouncing, and her voice could, if you got close enough, be heard yelling along to the lyrics, "Can't fight the moonlight!" Her cheeks are pink as she leaves the floor, leaving behind a couple of hopeful men, causing imbalance in the numbers of the genders there. The bar, and a drink, is a strong lure, and she wiggles her fingers towards the staff, her broad grin bringing a twinkling warmth to her eyes.

There's probably no lack of stares or giggles and chuckles as Alistair comes in, carrying a bag full of nerf swords. Or bats. Either way, they're colorful, nerfy, and there's a bunch of them. He too proceeds towards the bar now. "Nice music" he smiles faintly, sitting down at one of the stools. "Oh, good morning Miss Maya!"

Maya has achieved her aim of a drink, turning towards the greeting. Leaving the drink on the bar she offers one of the enthused hugs to the man greeting her. "Alistair! How're things?" The greeting is as happy as if he were a dear friend, missing for a while, and the grin doesn't fade at all. The purple drink gets reclaimed, and she tilts her head, her gaze taking in the swords, or bats, or nerfy things. "What...?" A gesture completes the question, and an arched eyebrow acts as a question mark.

At these wee hours in the morning, the music is a bit slower, more lovey dovey, and there's no lack of patrons trying to do just that, some doing just that, and others who ignore those doing just that. At the bar, Maya can be seen hugging Alistair, who is taken at least somewhat by surprise, but pleasantly so at least. She then gestures at the bag of nerf swords that Alistair is carrying. The response is quick, with Alistair pulling one out and bumping it lightly on the top of Maya's head. "You have been conquered!" followed by a chuckle, then, "It's for class. A bit of ancient history through re-enactment."

Maya's laugh can be heard above the music and she defends herself, fending him off. "Class? I didn't know you were teaching." A noisy slurp of the purple drink, the ice rattling in the glass, and she shakes her head. "I haven't seen you for ages! All work and no play make Maya a dull girl." A brief hesitation, before her grin brightens again, the woman turning to lean against the bar a moment before she jumps to settle on it, perched with her legs dangling down. "So you conquered me. What now?" The laughing flirtation doesn't look serious.

Vadania seems to have continued with her exploration of town. At least this time she left her horse outside though. Perhaps getting yelled at over at the Draconic Secrets was a learning experience. She glances to the floor where some couples seem to be dancing closer and smiles over something. Then the words 'conquered' and the flirting slip through her befuddled senses. A brow lofting slightly as she spots the man she met her first night here and seems to be enough to draw her over towards the pair.

"I'm sorry, it has been busy - I think you are either out or in the lab when I am teaching" says Alistair, "At the Hospital" he chuckles and hmms softly. "Oh. Umm ... I guess that depends. If you are not nobility, then I suppose you shall serve as my concubine; if you are nobility, then certainly children would either cause an alliance, or make someone I don't like really angry" he says matter-of-factly, nodding, "But um, I think maybe I'll just .. buy you a ... drink instead" he blushes faintly.

Maya's grin broadens, showing a flash of dimples as she listens to Alistair. "Oh I'm definitely common. I think I could get into a concubine role..." The flirtation is strong in this one, but she is clearly not serious, her eyes dancing at the blush. "Still seeing your girl?" She asks him, teasing lightly. "I think children with your concubine might upset her a bit so yeah, buy me a drink." Hers, vanishing in a final inelegant slurp, is empty and she holds it out, wiggling it slightly. The new arrival goes unnoticed, Maya's amusement and enjoyment in the lighthearted teasing obvious.

Vadania bites her lower lip as she really doesn't want to interupt the flirting even though she can tell it's more of that between friends than a pair wishing to exchange feathers. Maya deffinately getting a once and twice over. Before she jerks her eyes away and glances towards Alistair again and grins over something. Many, many miles traveled in those boots have left them near silent as she slips up tothe bar behind him. Possibly trying to keep him between her and the girl who's outshining just about every other female in the place. She clears her throat softly, "Is this the girl you were going home to bed when we first met, sir?"

Alistair blinks his eyes, "You could?" he asks, "Oh yes" he smiles, "Cali and I seem to keep rather busy lately but it's okay - just life I guess. I want to try and bring her out here but she's shy - also, I'm not sure whom she'd murder first, me or the concubine" the latter added somewhat deadpan, carrying the joke on just a little. Turning to the bar he asks, "Could you get Miss Maya another glass of what she was having, on me, please? Unless" he looks back at Maya, "You might prefer something different" he smiles and looking to Vadania, eyes widening a little. "Oh! Oh, hello miss Vadania. No, Miss Maya is my friend. Cali is getting much needed sleep." There's a pause, then, "Umm ... Miss Maya, this is Miss Vadania, Miss Vadania, this is Miss Maya."

"Sure. Being treated like something precious, something gorgeous and having lots of lovely sex?" She shrugs, as if it was an obvious conclusion. "Of course, you'd have to be very good at sex to be precious..." A softly murmured muse where the mischief in her eyes belies the comment. The glass is accepted with a return of the broad grin, and she glances at the newcomer, her face curious. "Oh no, he isn't mine." She speaks casually, wiggling her fingers in greeting at the other woman, the grin unfaded. "Alistair is far far too good to be fooling around with me." The mock sadness this is spoken with fails as her mouth twitches at the corners.

Vadania blinks at that and nods slightly. "So this Cali is getting the much needed sleep of one sated and well loved. Good." A small twitching at the corners of her lips giving a solid tell to anyone who cares that she's fighting a grin over something. A small lean out form hte counter lets her peek around Alistair to look at Maya again. "You certian he's too good for you? I thought he'd just claimed you as a concubine." Her lids half lowering as she lets a nearly vulpine smile show. "There are at least four others in the room who sighed at that statement too. Quite the harrem he's gathered."

"... huh? Cali seems happy enough with my - hey!" Alistair turns red as he starts replying to Maya, and then he looks from one woman to the other, blinking his eyes; this is a tough one, and so he goes with the only possible solution he can come up with. He takes one of the nerf swords out, bonks Vadania on the head and announces, "You have been conquered!"

Maya gives Alistair innocent eyes, widened with a smile to match. "I never said she wasn't, Alistair." The corners of her mouth twitch, giving the mischief away, and Vadania's comment gets her attention. "Oh sure, a concubine, but not a girlfriend." She glances around the room, curiousity rising, before she begins to speculate. "He is shockingly sweet." She comments softly, distracted as her gaze follows one of the male dancers for a moment.

Vadania blinks at the bonk with the nerf sword. Her hand stopping it's motion of drawing the knife at her side as she realizes that it really wasn't an attack on her. Her voice sweet as she asks, "So you now have two conquered maidens to play with, what were you planning on doing with them?" She brushes her hand down her pant-leg in an attempt to make it look like she wasn't going to draw steel in the least bit. Her grin showing again as she adds, "Stamina might be an issue with to many girlfriends."

"Probably start a fashion company, you can be the models! Stamina is not a problem" Alistair replies, looking from one woman to the other again, "Oh ... um, going back to the dance floor Miss Maya?" he asks, brows hiking up a touch. While he's managed to sidestep fighting back for the most part, his face is still bright red from all this talk.

Maya's attention is dragged back from the dance floor and she gives Alistair a faintly startled look for a moment before her grin returns and she nods. "Yeah I think I'll leave you in the hands of this lovely lady." She hops from the bar, taking her drink with her to slurp before abandoning it. Alistair receives one of the enthused hugs she apparently specialises in, and then she turns to Vadania, giving her a broad grin. "Keep him out of trouble?" She comments before inflicting one on Vadania before heading towards the dance floor. Soon, she is bouncing around like a mad thing, her voice raised in the lyrics, if not the tune. Her focus of interest is shortly drawn out from the crowd, and they bounce around a little, yelling the lyrics at each other before, they are lately seen heading out of the club.
