This skill, as listed in RUE p325, also applies to the research/creation of spells. It will double the bonus one gains from the time based bonus for research.

Effectively, this increases 1% to 2%. While it isn't a large increase, it can assist greatly in the research of spells.

This does not apply to the learning of a spell either from scroll or tutor.
