Pregnancy, the associated child bearing and raising of children has a limited if non-existent place in theme of Chronicles of Kingsdale. While it can add a more realistic and human feel to the game, it can also add a great deal of OOC strife and conflict due to the topic in general. It can be very disruptive to other players and diminish the fun for some players.

While Chronicles of Kingsdale does not ban IC pregnancy we do require players to ask permission to allow this on the grid. If permission is not granted, all reference will be disregarded and if the behavior persists sanctions towards the participating players may be placed.

Furthermore, it is Chronicle of Kingsdale and Palladium's official opinion that cross-species breeding is not normally possible. To do so, requires great lengths through the use of technological, psionic, magical solutions to achieve. Even species closely related will find it extremely difficult if not impossible to conceive offspring. Thus, even Elves can't breed with Humans, Mind Bleeders can't breed with Psi-Stalkers, and humans can't breed with either. While Mind Bleeders and Psi-Stalkers are genetic mutations of humans, they cannot breed back with Humans.

To be clear, if permission is not granted then there is no IC pregnancy.
