Jeremy Black is sitting at a large booth waiting for the appointments that he has made. He is wearing long, white, clean robes that contrast with his reddish skin. His most prominent features are his horns that come out of his head. This devilman seems well at home in the restaurant though. He has a pot of tea to one side and a cup and saucer in front of him.

Sarah enters the establishment, his serene blue gaze already washing over the crowd, taking in who is here, and smiling at the families enjoying their meals. After a moment he spots the devilman and after greeting the door greeter, he makes his way through the tables. "Pardon me sir, but are you Jeremy Black?" He asks the man, his tone polite and even, his gaze on Jeremy's, not straying to the horns.

Another enters the establishment, and chooses to bypass any greeter or maitre'd to seek her own seating. Daeni is familiar to some, although her current lack of bow or blades is unusual. Others are likewise known to her, thus the generally quiet Sarah and names mentioned draw her notice. She adjusts her course accordingly so that may approach the man, as there is little need for her to inquire if he finds what she seeks.

Sebastien had to do it. He sits one table over, the order of two sesame seed bagels resting untouched before him, and one fizzing brown drink half full to his right. The young man slouches a little, eyes following the waitress as she passes by again, shaking his head that no, he's just fine before grinning and glancing at the approaching Daeni. He says nothing, save for pointing surrupticiously at his bagel and nodding towards Black as if to say, 'Think I could land one on his horns?'

Jeremy Black stands up at the newly arrived people and bows his head deeply to both Sarah and Daeni in turn. "Welcome both of you. I am glad to see people responding to my advertisement for the task that I need accomplished. Please be seated." He says while gesturing towards the other seats of the booth. He waits until Sarah and Daeni are seated before taking his own seat. "I am afraid we still need to wait for another. I do find tardiness unwelcome, but I can't start until everyone is here unfortunately."

Sarah shifts his gaze towards Sebastien at his comment, but turns back to Mr. Black without so much as a raises eyebrow Seb's way. He seats himself, using one leg to pull the chair out for Daeni, the perfect gentleman. "It's not a problem Mr. Black, I have nothing but time, as I not not currently required to be anywhere else." He answers the man and offers a gentle smile.

Daeni remains standing as she reaches the table and crosses her arms before her. The surreptitious hint or query from Sebastien is noted, yet either ignored or its impact not understood. "Who wait for? Maybe afraid, choose not come."

"And who is it," Sebastien wonders in a voice that might carry, "that we wait on?" Some credits sit next to his unused bagels, and the young man carries his drink idly, swaying the sweating container idly towards the back of Daeni's neck before drawing it back, perhaps thinking better of it. "I was just wondering if I have seen your kind before, monsieur." His lips come together to purse, as he asks, "At the Gate? In old St Louis?" Sebastien sets that drink on the end of the booth and seats himself beside the red man Black. "I am called -- " he glances towards Daeni with a smirk, "idiot. And sometimes Sebastien Dubious."

Sarah goes silent at this exchange, taking his normally chosen role as silent observer. However his peaceful blue eyes miss nothing, but he reflects nothing but calm. One leg slips free of his sandal and he manuevers the chair nearest Daeni for her to be seated when she chooses, then puts his sandal back on, watching, and listening.

Mr. Black looks up at Sebastien and frowns ever so slightly. "Yes well if you are Sebastien then please take a seat so that we may begin. And if you are here to ask irrelevant questions then I am afraid you must find another time." He looks at the three people and bows his head ever so slightly before beginning. "Each of you has responded to my advertisements so let me tell you more about the task that will be required of you. That is if you choose to accept this task." He pauses for a moment to take a sip of his tea before continuing. "I have been keeping close watch on the unfolding of the war to the north, for my own reasons. There is a group of prisoners being taken to what humans call a concentration camp. I know when and what path these prisoners will be force marched to this camp. I require that these prisoners be freed. If you accept this task. I will provide you with a location where you may ambush the infantry men marching the prisoners while they will be out of radio contact. Or at least the radios in their armor will be out of range of contact."

"Idiot is best name," Daeni remarks prior to panning her full attention upon the red Mr. Black. Following the explanation, she dips her chin in acknowledgement and agreement. "If Coalition to kill, will go. See much of this war, but too much watch, listen. If kill warriors, war end."

Sarah takes a different path than his battle hungry female freind. "Forgive me, but would it be possible to negotiate the prisoners release? I ask only to avoid possibly unnecessary violence and possibly bloodshed. What is it that these people are imprisoned for if I may ask?" He asks, wanting to go into the situation with both eyes open if he must fight.

Sebastien notes softly, "They fight because they are frightened. They fight to escape exinction. Killing warriors will not end it. They'll send more." The young knight leans to sip from his fizzing drink, a pause, before asking, "But that is not our job, is it? We would free these captives." Sebastien quirks an eyebrow at that, peering sideways at Black. "Captives? Why were they not simply shot? Have they been put to work, or some such?"

Mr. Black nods his head toward Daeni as he offers the elf a quick smile. "Thank you. I appreciate your participation." He turns his head to look at Sarah and shakes his head. "I highly doubt that their could be any negotiation. And these people are imprisoned for a variety of resons. Most of them being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The list of Coalition crimes makes that a very bad mistake to make." Mr. Black takes a moment to look at Sebastien. He looks confused a moment before continuning. "They are being taken to a concentration camp like I said before. There they will be worked and the women will be raped. Most of the captives are women. I need answers from both of you please."

Serene blue eyes darken with a rather heavier emotion than peace for an instant at the further information provided, blink and you'd miss it. "I see. Then my skills are at your disposal sir. I will do my utmost to free these prisoners and bring them back here. My efforts and my freinds here.." He starts, nodding to Daeni. "Will ensure their safe return." Unable to speak for Sebastien.

Daeni's features distort into a scowl. "Slave not way for warrior. Better if die in fight." Now that she has already stated her intentions, her shoulders roll in a shrug to Sebastien. "Send more, kill more. When warriors all dead, war end. Coalition fight to attack others, not guard self."

"Rapes?" Sebastien asks quietly, and he tilts his head to the right. "The captives are human?" He tilts his head to the right, head lowering, and speaks quietly, "You have to understand; to the Coalition, you're the animal very dangerous. You may kill an animal without remorse, you may use them if they prove docile, like horses, or you can grind them up if it turns out they taste good on bread with a side of fries." Sebastien peers at Black, musing, "Sex with animals is illegal. But some border commanders do, shall we say, go native?" He leans back, pondering, "Granted, a call to their superiors, even if believed, would get all the captives killed along with the traitors." Sebastien falls silent a moment longer, before nodding, "Oui, I like this cause. But shall we discuss the logistic elsewhere? I think, if they would let -me- in here, perhaps the tables have ears."

Mr. Black bows his head towards Sarah. "I thank you for your participation." He turns his head to look at Sebastien and then again looks confused. "Yes thank you. I know all this. A good portion of the captives are human yes. I thank you as well for your participation Sebastien. Logistics will be discussed later and in another place. Once I have gathered the group for this Op we will go over it all at once. I will contact you all. Are there any other questions? Please consider that this is not the time nor place to discuss logistics."

Sarah only shakes his head, both at Seb's antics and at the request for questions. "I need only know what forces I will be assisting in dismantling." He tells the devilman with a nod towards Daeni. Apparently the elven woman has garnered the man's respect during that little spar of thiers, something he doesn't give out much in this world, at least not for physical capability.

"Know how many," Daeni explains, "what kind when find." Now that all appear to be agreed and commited, she inquires, "When go on op?" She requires very few details and focuses upon those most important; namely when and where.

Sebastien finishes his drink, the straw sucking and gurgling at the bottom of his cup an extended pleasure, and he pushes it away. "The man said this was not the time to speak of this, mademoiselle. Or perhaos we would not be the ones doing the ambush?" He winks, and slides out of the booth to stretch his hands over his head, and Sebastien slips a hand inside his shirt to pull out a card. "I know a person who may know a thing about a place." The young knight places the card before Black, bidding, "Call me when it is time to come together, and I will see what I can find in the mean time."

"I will have numbers for you tomorrow. That should be when I call everyone together for the briefing. You will be working with a Gabriel Blaze and a woman by the name of Tirzah." Mr. Black says. "Please discuss any tactics among yourself. I can assure you that there only will ber basic infantrymen guarding the prisoners. I am afraid that I must leave and prepare for our meeting. I thank you each again for undertaking this task." He says before standing up from the booth. "I hope to see you at the meeting."
