Brief:
Rasputin, Sebastien, Tirzah and Sage all go on a Dino hunt. They infact do find a few Dinos, but of course not before a Dwarf is tossed and then gets munched on again. A few large and a few small, but lots of dinos.

Kingsdale - City Gates

You stand before the one hundred foot tall City Gatehouse with its reinforced steel gates. The city of Kingsdale is surrounded entirely by a wall and this is the sole authorized opening.. The gatehouse permits people to enter the city via the road that leads back to the rest of the world. The walls themselves are eighty-five feet tall and glisten white in the mid days sun. Parts of the walls around the gatehouse have been scorched black, perhaps from a fire or other mishaps. The gatehouse and immediate surrounding area seem majestic and regal, almost as if the chemically enhanced concrete had been molded by hand to produce the elegant curves. A patrol roams the walls around the entry way, ever vigilant in their goal to protect the city and the travelers who would enter.

The road itself is exceptionally well maintained just outside the city. The flow of traffic is light as caravans and others slow down to pass through the checkpoint at the gate. A small bazaar and market has sprung up along the roads selling food and various items to tired travelers reaching the city gate and finding a line of people waiting to enter. Colorful booths and tents line the road making it a wonderful mix of colors. Off to the East is the Landing Strip, used for parking larger vehicles, robots and power armor. It also features stables for large creatures.

The guards at the gate are friendly and efficient, explaining local laws and everything that one needs to know. For a modest fee, any weapon larger than a pistol must be stored at the city gates -- nothing else is allowed into the city proper. Armor is allowed, and vehicles will be too unless they are armed -- in which case they must be stored at the landing strip.

To the West and North is a large amount of farmland.

Sebastien frowns, and begins walking back towards the stables, leading Sara along behind him. His pace has quickened a touch, his shoulders hunched. He stays silent, tugging once as Sara's forced to walk just a touch faster to keep up with him, caught briefly in the glare of another spotlight as he heads back up the trail away from the gates.

Tirzah blinks as on silence returns to her perch and must briefly divert her attention from the east to track the knight again. "You've pointed out twice now I'm loosing touch with the human condition. It seems to bother you. No one else notices. It is a symptom of the situation I allowed to boil over. I hope its getting better now though." Her voice says, following him along.

Sebastien doesn't turn, but keeps walking. "I have to apologize," he speaks, having no idea where Tirzah might be. But apparently she can hear him anyhow. "People change. Your powers have grown tremendously since I have met you. The shy, awkward girl reaching for something human is gone. Now you are a power in your own right, beyond the foibles of the human condition. You said I was comparing you to Flare, and you are right; she has that same shy, vulnerable, very human quality about her that you once did. For her time with me is not a test, a flex of wills and some great psychic armwrestling match to be won or lost. It is simply a woman coming to know a man. I miss that. I miss the Tirzah you once were. I'll mourn her loss, but know that you've irrevocably changed."

Tirzah pauses, unsure how to reply to that as she lets the link go silent. She looks down on him, a tear coming to her eye with emotion she mostly denied until recently. looking east she feels torn as she still must wait.

With the link lost, Sebastien disappears into the stables, unheard and unseen for some time. A minute. Five. Fifteen? Presently he reappears, a pair of remarkably broad swords dangling in sheaths from his waist, and a large hump of a flight pack on his back. Slung across his chest is a large pistol, a 6" break-top shotgun without a stock, matching a bandolier of shells across his chest. Some are white, and some are red.

The time Sebastien spends hidden away Tirzah spends racked with thought in her now distracted watch over the east. Often she looks back towards the stables to see if Sebastien had yet reemerged. Feeling sad and glad he hadn't equally until he does. "Try as I might, I can't discount what you say. But for what it's worth, I mourn that loss as well." She decides to send, her voice shaky.

The young knight doesn't reply for a long moment, instead checking his gear one last time before kicking a heel into Sara's stirrup, flowing up onto the armored Clydesdale mare like water falling uphill. "You are here to hunt big game?" he wonders, giving Sara a cue to trot out, away from the city. "If only we have answered this advertisement, perhaps our strategy could change. We could simly assault from above, impervious to the gaping maw of imminent doom."

Tirzah nods from afar, as her vigilence east can resume its tenacity. "Sage is coming, just had to get some things from home. That's why I'm up here. so i can watch her and see who else is on board." She explains, her voice regaining some casual vibes.

A large, slightly beat up Hover Truck rolls up from inside of the city. The pilot's hatch is popped open. The head of Rasputin is sitting up in it. He comes to a slow stop, and parks outside of the gates. He hopes everyone can make it. He climbs out, and waits for everyone to arrive.

Finally Tirzah can descend to join up with Sage as she walks up to the city gates. She smiles sweetly at her partner before looking at Rasputin's hover truck with some speculation. "You know Rasputin, I could help you take care of that vehicle a bit, help it look more dependable." She offers openly to break the ice.

The armored rider 'ahas' quietly, and plods up alongside the hover truck at his damnable slow mounted pace. "So long as it flies over fifty feet?" Sebastien makes it a question, and he flashes a little smile at the redhead. "Then it is dependable enough. I can leave Sara home, we all climb in, and poach with impunity. Unless you think we need bait? A goat, perhaps?"

Rasputin smiles, "Goodink, goodink. All packink for 5 or 6 days, da? Just stow your equipments, and we shall be goink." The craft has some additional food stores, weapon stores, but not spare suits of armor.

Rasputin has been guiding you all through the forest. He has some sort of worn map. He has been flying quickly and with some skill over the well used trade routes. He seems to dip further south as you all know you are close to Whykin for a few hours. Then he starts breaking new ground, rather flying on less used trails. He doesn't stop, he seems focused on the craft operations. Then, as the day wears on towards late afternoon and early evening, he starts to come to a stop.

Throughout it all Tirzah has been on boint with her silent hovercycle, patrolling the half circle ahead of Rasputin's craft to warn of any dangers. But nothing of major concern yet this trip. As her next loop finds the craft stopped she rejoins the group, setting the cycle down beside the hover vehicle.

N America - River Trail

This is a small trail that follows the west side of the River. The river is about a quarter of a mile across, and runs fairly fast. Many small creatures can be seen running around drinking water, and just playing like any normal creature does.

As the rapids on the river begin to mellow out more, the path doesn't return to its 2-a-breast width, but almost disappears along the shore of the river. The smell of smoke can be caught on the air coming from inside of the treeline.

The young knight's grimacing, having kept up a grueling pace below. He's sore in places he didn't even know he had. He may not have sex for a week. Well, let's not get crazy. The young knight sees fallen trees, broken terrain, and muddy sloughs and very little else, trusting Sara to navigate her way amongst them. The effect below is beautiful, a meld of man and horse often imitated though never well. His bitching over the radio's been getting louder as the miles drag on, wondering if Rasputin means to run them all the way back to Russia. Or Chi-Town. Or both, but the long way 'round the Earth. "...and that's how this feels like. Three hill trolls. Up the ass. I need a gatoraid and a smoke." His posterior has become a favored conversation piece, of late.

Being the only one whose primary mode of transportation would likely become bait in this outing, Sage has decided to ride along in the vehicle Rasputin brings. She seems to be reflective on the journey there. If Rasputin offers conversation, she'll converse well enough. If not, she'll likely drift into a meditative state to pass the time with her psychic senses occasionally sensing for their progress.

Rasputin brings the large vehicle to a halt, then slowly glides it down to the ground to land. He pops open the hatch, "How is beink this for the nights campink?" The clearing is very nice, a 100 ft by 100 ft area which is near a fairly good sized stream or creek. Some would call it a river perhaps? The trees and foliage are massive, trees towering left and right. This clearing seems to be an area, where during the spring floods, gets washed out. But it works for the night, perhaps?

Tirzah shrugs as she dismounts her cycle to take a walk about the clearing. "Looks fine to me." She calls back as she checks out the rushing creek. She'll linger there for a few minutes to refresh from the long trip and tropical heat of the jungle.

The small creek flows wonderfully, the water has been restored to an almost pristine condition. You can even see, trout or some sort of fish moving up and down. Large, wonderful looking creatures. There are a few deep holes, which you can't see the bottom of, but over all it is a lovely flowing body of clean, fresh water.

The young knight pants, eyeing the ground. It might be nice to be down there, but it might not. He's staring at the earth with a sort of fascinated apprehension, though he says, "Looks fine. This will let us see if they come for us. I remember these tyrannosaurs, the stories. They think. They hunt. They even talk. Being in the open means that we can see them coming, but it also makes us a target."

Rousing out of her meditative state as she senses they've arrived, Sage considers the area that they've arrived in. She purses her lips briefly, "Water... flat ground... open ground to see around... it seems suitable." She comments softly, "But, Sebastien has a point that it could work against us in that way." She admits. She stretches her muscles some as she adjusts to moving about.

Rasputin climbs out of the hovercraft, and opens the back hatch. He has various supplies in there, he is wearing a suit of T-43 Explorer armor, with the helmet clipped to the side of the suit. A utility belt has a few holsters and items attached. He sure as hell doesn't look like the guy who wears suits everywhere. He even has a few wooden stakes on the belt. He pulls out a sleeping bag, and a tarp or three, "Da, da. Dis trues. Dhough, we are still a bit out from wheres I was thinkink the nasties are froms, da?" He looks over to Tirzah, "How is the river lookink?"

Tirzah shrugs as she watches some trout fight the current. "Lucrative." Is her simple reply as she considers how best to catch such a fish with a spell. Turning away as the solution eludes her for the moment she walks back to Sage to seek out an embrace. "Either way a watch and deterring fire should keep them wary enough." She suggests to the mention of predators.

Sebastien squints hard at the ground, and mutters as he grabs up his helmet and shoves it back on. Then checks the seals. "I'll take a look around," he utters, and taps his helmet. "Stay on channel seventeen. At ..." his voice falls off as he reaches to tap a button on his helmet, "In thirty minutes, change to channel five. Mademoiselle, what we hunt is attracted by fire. It understands weapons. It travels in packs, weighs ten tons, and can shrug off a boom gun. I've heard stories of them disarming a man to take him alive, for torture before he is a meal. Don't get cocky." The knight taps his helmet again, and reluctantly heels Sara to ride again down the embankment, then up his own side, while waving. "Like that. The river stops us from crossing. It does not stop what we hunt. It can run with impunity if we have nobody in a vehicle. Be wary."

Glancing around, Sage considers the area simply as a spot of nature letting her senses soak it in. She wanders a little to get a better look of things around the vehicle corners. Whether this delays the embrace her partner seeks, it matters not for long as Sage accepts the other woman into her arms. "I think he just likes to hear himself talk... the place where I lived held off dinosaurs well enough without boom guns or having to worry about being dragged away for... torture." She gives a negative inflection on the word 'torture'. "And there'll be no torturing them, Sebastien." She glances towards where the man had been wandering off to.

Rasputin chuckles softly and tugs his beard. He looks over the supplies, "Da, da. Are we buildink a fire? Or net? I'm goodink eithers ways, da?" He smiles as he looks around the clearing, "What should we be doink for food? Are there fish? Or camp rations?" He checks over the hovercraft for anything he might have run into, but then smiles as he doesn't find anything too bad. He looks around a bit and the begins to check his weapons over to make sure everything is in working order.

Tirzah smirks at the inflection Sage makes on Sebastien. "And most of what he says is false. They dont hunt in packs, fire doesnt attract them, or deter them, and the certainly could not 'shrug off' a boom gun. Given the option of us or a herd of unarmored prey, the Trex would take the latter." She corrects before looking back to thre river at Rasputin's mention. "Lots of fish in the stream, didnt bring a rod though so I'm trying to think of how to catch them."

Sebastien's gone, poking about here and there. Looking at the avenues of approach and retreat, scouting for game trails and the like.

"I may have something in my wilderness kit... but nets, spears and simply blocking off an area come to mind..." Sage comments, before she begins to set herself to the task of setting up the camp.

This is a lovely spot, there are small tale tail signs that perhaps several months back or last year. That someone used this as a camp over spot as well. Not many signs of animals are easily noticed, but there are a few small tracks, birds in the area and signs that deer come by every now and then.

Rasputin chuckles his normal deep laugh and tugs his beard, "Da, so we puttink up some thinks. Just to make, annoyances. Da? So net fire?" He looks to where Sebastien went and gets a little alarmed as he is now out of site, "Sebastien, where did you gettink goink? You OK?" He tugs his beard and softly says, so that Sage can hear but odds are others as well, "To be truth tellink, I have never hunted Dino's. I am beink never seeink them. I was told that they were here, and gottink this maps. So, I am, uh," He tugs his beard again, "A little apprehensives, da?"

Tirzah smiles slyly at Rasputin. "Not to worry my short friend. You've brought two expert huntresses. And Sebastien is just letting them all know we are here so they can hide or come visit as appropriate for their demeanor." She explains, turning her radio on so the knight is no longer excluded. "We'll have a fire, unless we have some other means to cook. And I think a phantom can get some of the fish with a cold spell."

Not being as well versed on lore surrounding certain kinds of predators, Sage lets her partner make the decision on whether they'll have fire or not. "You could turn yourself into flame and I could cook on you, if need be." She comments with faint amusement after alternatives to a proper fire is suggested by Tirzah. "I'm sure we'll muddle through fine... if necessary I can scout around with a little less worry about what might be watching than any of you could." She comments, "But, let's get setup first... if nothing else, a camping trip could be fun." With that, she begins to sort through what camping supplies they have to beat determine how to set things up.

The radio crackles to life. "I am here, monsieur. There is a game trail not far from the camp, but it is deer-sized. Do not be afraid. You never went to the river to catch lizards as a child? This is a lot like that. But bigger." He falls off radio for a moment, and then he adds, "Unless we get a smart one. Sage, you came with me to Laramy. You remember their stories. You spoke with their Cyberknight. He would not lie to you. The Coalition was their problem, oui, but they were starving in the first place because of the talking tyrannosaurs."

Rasputin goes about helping Sage with making the camp, and then helps her start a fire. Soon, there is a lovely little fire and fairly nice camp setup. Using the hovercraft as a wall, tarps are set up to protect from the rain storms which are so common this time of year.

The current game time is: Tue Oct 04 01:02:17 106 PA.

Rasputin has risen with the early morning, but as he is used to getting up to serve breakfast in the morning, it is no big deal to him. The camp was left undisturbed through out the evening. Rasputin, begins to get and prepare a lovely meal of bacon, eggs, and even pancakes for his companions. He is of course, cooking in a huge cast iron skillet. He is putting the works of his labor on to a series of plates, which are on a small table he has setup.

Tirzah has always been an up with the birds kind of girl, heading to the gym before the sun even crested back in Kingsdale. Out on the road is no different as she quietly rose and discretely made her way to the stream. With its trickling chorus she went about her stretches and aerobics before shedding clothes for a refreshing swim with the fishes. Little drawing her attention back to the camp until the smell of breakfast lingered with the smell of her soap.

Having taken the time to clean herself up, Sage seems content to devote the first part of her morning communing with nature. Once she'd noticed that Rasputin had seen set on making them breakfast, she lets her senses wander and her feet to carry her slowly around the area. Breeze teasing her hair as she moves to no place in particular.

Apparently, Rasputin isn't the only early morning riser in this group of fearless Dino hunters. He gets done serving up four plates of food, and calls out to everyone, "Breakfast is beink served, da!" His deep voice caries a bit, but not too loudly. He waits to see if those which are not in the camp currently are close enough to here him, then not waiting on protocol grabs a plate and digs in.

With the announcement of breakfast being served Tirzah steps out of the stream to slip back into the leathery hide of her armor. Then stepping into her leather pants she does them up over the skin tight suit before picking up her coat and boots to walk barefoot to the make shift banquet. "Amazing, did you just put the whole deli in a box and bring it with you?" She asks the dwarf in jest before smirking at Sage. "I'd ask if you also do house calls but Sage would hit me. With good cause though, she's an excellent cook." She adds in a little softer voice.

With the more interesting wilderness yet to be explored, it isn't too hard for Sage to break herself away from her morning walk. As she returns, she considers the prepared food and smiles softly. "Looks nice." She comments, before glancing over to Tirzah. She glances over towards Tirzah with a faint look of amusement, "Or perhaps something worse..." She says lightly, before finding a place to settle down and see about grabbing herself something to eat.

Rasputin smiles as he enjoys the meal with the both of you. "Net, net. But I did brinkink enough spices for eggs an bacon for the trips. And enough for pancakes the entire trip, da?" He smiles and then takes another bite, "As wellink as some cheese for da eggs." He smiles, "So was the creek was goodink? Nothink creepies in its? Perhapsink a fish or two for dinner?"

Tirzah smirks as she piles her plate with eggs bacon and cheese. "Nothing creepy enough to bother me any way. Most denisons of the cool waters know to stay away once the water about me nears boiling. Plenty of fish to eat though, I can freeze a patch of the stream and cut the fish out. Might want to reserve that for the end of the day though. Should keep my link ready for more important needs of the day." She suggests before nodding slightly at Sage with her mention of something worse.

For herself, Sage takes some from each option in a fairly equal servings. "I still think there's probably a simpler way... but, I don't mind having a little ice around." She says the last part with a little mischief in her tone with a brief glance to Tirzah. Then, she settles herself into eating the breakfast she's piled onto her plate.

Rasputin smiles and eats, "Da, da. Goodink idea, I was thinkink we should break camps, and headink further south-east, da? As the map is indicatink, we are still half a days travels from wheres real Dino's are beink livink."

Tirzah nods and she begins to scarf down the hearty meal. "Sounds good to me, how many are you hoping to take down and of what variety?" She asks between mouthfuls to give her something to contemplate over the morning meal.

"It would be best to arrive before day light gives out." Sage agrees, as she goes about devouring her breakfast in an efficient manner. She looks to Rasputin at the question posed as she's curious about how ambition this treak would be.

Rasputin thinks about the question Tirzah has asked, "I am notink sure. I did rentink this large craft so thats I could take almost everythink we catch. So as not to be wasitink any of it. But I am not surink. If they are beink as large as peoples say, then perhaps only one or two, da? Just enough, to get peopl'es appitites and fundink this trip, but not so much we are laiden down and targets, da."

Tirzah nods some more as she continues to pack the meal away. "Well then I recommend a Stegosaurus or two. Saurapods are also well known for their meat but can also negate magic, with is problematic that and you would probably be full to the brim with a hindquarter of an adult carcass." She suggests between mouthfuls.

"I'm sure most types of dinosaurs would likely provide something problematic to us..." Sage comments, as she keeps track of the conversation. She glances between the two, wondering what may become of this venture.

Rasputin nods to Tirzah as he puts a bite of eggs into his mouth. He chews well, swallows and says, "Da, da. Dhough no idea as to what we will find, da? I am thinkink we get what we can, cans always comes back. Don't want to be pushink our luck, da?" He finishes up his plate, and puts it in a small tub he has already set aside for the wash. He starts to clean up, "I am thinkink, we will travel for perhasink, 4 hours? Then make new camp? Keep ourselves fresh and ready, da?"

Sebastien finally emerges from his tent, legs bowed wide as he walks so that his raw thighs can't touch as he sidles into the open. Stopping, he quirks an eyebrow and stares left at his horse before raising a warning finger and telling Sara, "Not a word."

Tirzah nods once more before committing herself to finish her meal. "Sounds like a plan." Is her simple reply before she searches the table for some juice to wash the very filling meal down. Then turning about she sets on putting on her socks and boots when Sebastien's emergence interrupts that with a giggle. "My dear Sebastien, its been almost a year since I've seen you walk in such a manner in the early morning." She remarks.

"I may be able to scout around to see what options we have once we're about ready to hunt without really stirring up the natives." Sage offers, as she finishes off the last of her breakfast and washes the last bit down before offering the beverage to Tirzah. At the giggle, Sage looks to the source of the cause. She raises a brow faintly and her lips curl ever-so-slightly.

Rasputin nods, as he takes the dishes from Tirzah and Sage. "Da, da. That mightink be a good ideas," He quickly cleans those dishes, "Dobroe utro Sebastien. Gladdink you are awakes, please, please eats." He chuckles, not saying anything about the odd posture and gate, "Takink your time, but I am hopink you don't mind if I start to takink down camp?" He finishes with the various dishes, and utensils quickly, "Sage, would you be feelink safe to be scoutink? I would not want you to gets in troubles ,da?" Long distance to Sebastien: Rasputin nods, "Da."

"I could say the same," Sebastien replies, giving Tirzah a level eyeballing with a vaguely disgruntled expression from across the camp. His hair's combed and his plate mail neatly keeps any scents inside, though one might wonder if he slept in it. He raises an eyebrow at Rasputin, and waves a hand. "I don't have breakfast often. We shall just take down camp." Turning then, he drags a small bag from his tent and begins pulling it apart, the bungie-tied ribs breaking into a three sections a piece and the rest rolling neatly into a package that fits into an outer sleeve. The dusty tan tent comes down quickly, and with an economy of motion. Sebastien isn't risking his thighs for anything. He needs save those for later!

Tirzah smirks shaking her head slightly as she drinks down the juice Sage gave her. She takes a moment to consider Sage's volunteering to scout. "She should be fine, but I can track her from above and be at her aid in a matter of seconds." She offers without any hesitation. Then, boots and socks on she rises to don her coat and see about her gear.

"Perhaps along the way we can find some plants that could make some ointment." Sage comments, without directing the thought to any of the others in particular. She shrugs faintly as she rises to begin helping clear things once the knight decides against breakfast. Whether its bravado or just normal operation, she isn't inclined to 'mother' him. She glances over towards Tirzah with a considering look. "With care." She says simply, before she moves off to help pack up the rest of the stuff.

Rasputin eyes Sebastien, and the plate of food already served up for him. Eggs, bacon, and 2 pancakes, "Da, Okies." He looks to the other two, to see if they are interested in it. He leaves it there for a moment, then goes about taking down his own tent and the various tarps he setup for rain flies. He hears Tirzah's words, "Won'tink your engines spoil her stealth?" He says this almost out of hand, and goes about his work.

Tirzah smiles at Sage as she turns bag to quickly bag Sebastien's declined eggs and bacon for later, leaving the pancakes. "But of course, and most people breath louder than my cycle's electric engine. It wont disturb anything." She assures as she returns to the said cycle to store the rations and start prepping her weapons. She starts with her new fancy CS vambraces, clicking one to each wrist.

"Altitude. It all depends on the altitude," Sebastien notes, packing his saddlebags. "Is she to travel ahead? I am not sure the plan here. I would think we would keep this camp site and try scouting trips east, west, north, south, using this as a base of operations. Try to find track or sign and follow. But ah, all I know form hunting is what I have seen Monique do."

"Unlike its pilot." Sage says with a friendly tease. As she makes quick work of her packing, she looks around for anything that may have been left aside. "We'll see how things turn out, though." She isn't quite sure how it will all unfold, but seems content to live in the moment.

Rasputin just listens to the banter, cleans off the last plate and puts away all of the dishes. Then in only a few minutes he has everything packed up. "Sebastien, I am thinkink you were still sleepink, but I would like to move another 4 hours south-east from heres, da. It should be puttink us in a good placink for scoutink and huntink. Find a good camp, then start a search?" He just about has everything packed up by the time he is done, and is getting ready to head out, "We could, to keepink us together, all ride in the hovercraft. Until we find the next base camp, da?"

The young knight eyes the hovercraft dubiously, and grins across at Sara. "What do you, Sara? You want to be taken for a ride?" He laughs at that, and bounds a few steps towards the cargo bay doors to pull out the ramp, drawing it ten feet out to drop it to the ground. "Watch your step..." he utters, and has to bound out of the way as Sara takes the ramp at a brisk canter, snorting as if indignantly. "Well, at least we can say Rasputin has saved my ass today," he notes, before reaching to stow the ramp and climb in after his horse.

Tirzah silently smiles in reply to Sage's remark, knowing full well such is a better quality most of the time. She holsters her short shotgun at her hip before checking the tie down of her plasma thrower to the cycle. Then hopping on the pilots it into the cargo bay to set it down beside Sarah, no ramp needed. Dismounting she walks over to rub the horses muzzle. "Dont let his lack of appreciation for your enduring efforts yesterday get to you. its just because he's not man enough." She reminds the robot horse

Having helped get gear into the hovercraft, Sage makes one last check before she begins to head into the hovercraft herself. "Could have saved it yesterday too..." She notes, but leaves the actual ribbing to her partner. "May luck be with us." She comments, as she disappears intot he hovercraft to find a place to settle down for the trip.

Now that everyone is onboard, Rasputin double checks everything and then hopes on board. "Da! Goodink, here we goink." He fires up the engines and lifts up to above the tree line. He spins slowly around, gets his bearing and the heads due south-east. After about five hours, he find a suitably large area to put down. Again it is a bit like the one before, nice water, nice clearing, and perhaps some game this time?

The current game time is: Wed Oct 05 07:34:09 106 PA.

The group of fearless hunters have settled for th evening, well mid-afternoon anyway. After traveling for about 5 hours, Rasputin has steeled in a nice little clearing. According to the maps and data, you are in the edge of the Dino Swamp. It is about 3'o'clock in the afternoon and as it is October, there is only another 3 hours perhaps four of good sunlight. Rasputin of course, is already at making camp only moments from landing.

Once the craft has come to a complete stop Tirzah looks to Sage with a smile. "Guess we are here." She says, lamenting letting go of her knit grip with her partner as is necessary to disembark. She does let go though, slipping out of her seat belt to rise and head to the cargo hold.

As the shorter trip comes to an end, Sage begins to turn her thoughts towards helping set up the camp they may be using for this part of the venture and what might be lurking in the near future. She gives her partner a brief smile, "So it would seem." She comments, "Do you want to have a look around for recent activity or should I?" She asks, as she begins to head for the camping gear they have stored away.

Tirzah shrugs indicating she has no preference. "Feel free, I'm going to take a moment to extend my senses and see what elemental indicators are in the vicinity." She explains before hoping onto her cycle to guide it out.

Rasputin makes a lighter camp this time, he keeps more gear in the hovercraft, as if he knows this could be a temporary or perhaps he is just worried about interruptions. He looks around, "Perhaps scouttink would be goodink, da?" He looks around, "Tirzah, can you beink tellink us whats goink on out theres?"

"You and your elements." Sage comments with a teasing but fond tone before she goes about getting out her camping and other equipment. Once she finds a good spot to setup, she sets down the camping gear and secures her weapons. Slipping her helmet on, she glances to see where the others are. "I'll look for signs to see if our camp site has been active lately." She comments, waiting for an acknowledgement before she picks her way around the clearing.

Tirzah smirks at Sage's teasing then nods to Rasputin. "Give me half an hour and I can get a weather report, air quality check, and know if there are any campfires within 40 miles in any direction." She explains as she parks her cycle for slipping off to set into a crosslegged position.

Rasputin chuckles softly as he double check's his weapons, "Da, da. Well, be lookink arounds and sees if there is anythinks out theres, da?" He gets done and tugs his beard, "Dhough, what are the chances that dhese thinks will be comink to us?"

As Sage begins to scout the area, she decides to take to circling the edge of their clearing figuring it will give an indication of any foot traffic that may have passed through - creature or person. She's fairly adept at recognizing tracks. "You're not the only one that can tell the weather... but I don't need a fancy vehicle to do it." She comments as she moves along.

Rasputin looks up, sticks out his tongue, and smiles, "Looks likink rain, weather report done, da?" Rasputin chuckles a little bit, then double check's his pistol again.

Tirzah shrugs at the remarks with a slight shake of her head. "Excuse me for trying to contribute something other than a big boom." She chides to them both with some humor as she reaches out with her senses and slips into a deep breathing cycle.

"You're forgiven." Sage replies lightly, before she focuses back on her task of looking for any recent traffic. As she moves about, she opens her senses in attempt to pick up on empathic impressions from nearby animal life. Her gaze also extends into the realm of plant and animal auras as she passes, looking for anything that might be of interest when she looks into the surrounding wilderness.

The river on the south side of the camp is a bit larger than the last one. This one is usually 30 to 40 feet across, running fairly quickly, and not clear at all. Apparently something is churning up a lot of murk up stream, as the entire river is an off muddy brown. But, the water still has life, lots of life, hidden in the inky water which moves about about 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Rasputin looks around, and just walks out the camp, getting a feel for the terrain of this small inlet, "Net, net. Da creek isn't pretty, da?" He looks back as Sage and Tirzah are a little out of site, he clicks his mic, "Anythink large outs theres?"

Tirzah knots the muscles in her forehead as she seems to encounter some difficulty right off the bat. "This swamp.. has a very different dynamic. Will take me a bit to adjust.." She explains, her tone a bit exasperated. "No fires in our vicinity though so don't expect any social visits."

With little to report so far, Sage simply keeps moving along. Eventually, she winds up near the river. At first, she doesn't pay much mind to it until something causes her to look back. Its the dirty water below that draws her attention back. "There's a fair bit of debris being kicked up in the river... could just be the current." She says thoughtfully.

Tirzah shakes her head and exits her trance to rise and remount the cycle. "The air down here is too dense for my senses to muddle through. I'm going to go up and see if i fair better." She explains as she starts up the nearly silent engine. Then without waiting for acknowledgement she is away, ascenting rapidly away from the camp.

Rasputin chuckles and looks at the River, "Natural sediment in the river then, da?" He smiles a moment and turns towards Sage, "Do you knowink dhis for facts?" He goes to tug his beard, but just grabs the bottom of his helmet. He grumbles a bit and chuckles, "Da." Then the scene changes...

The river erupts into bubbling mess of dirty water and the huge head of an amphibian monster erupts up out of the grime of the water. It is HUGE, about the size of an SUV. It leaps up and grabs Rasputin in its hard bone mouth. Rasputin tries to get out of the way, but too late. The large gross mud covered frog begins to swallow the small man, armor and all...

When the sudden flare of danger comes, Sage prudently throws herself into a roll that takes her away from the water's edge. It seemed to only come when she came to the water. It allows her to get a little distance away from where the large amphibian suddenly appears. She plants her foot and rises to her feet as her hands bring her rifle into a ready position. Upon seeing that it is a large beast, Sage frowns as it tries to devour one of her friends. Hoping that a fight to the end wont be necessary, she tries to tap into her empathic link to animals. "Let him go." She says to give voice to the feelings she tries to send. Along with this message, she uses her telekinetic abilities to hurl a nearby boulder at the creature to draw its attention. And, possibly drop the morsel - Rasputin - in shock.

If Tirzah's ascent was fast, her descent is definitely nosebleed worthy as she channels her link into her armor. Slowing only as much as needed to avoid crashing into the rapidly rising ground she lands and draws her plasma thrower, lowering it at the frog.

Rasputin yells at the top of his lungs something in Russian, as he is completely surprised by the large frog chomping on his leg. Then he reaches into his holster to grab his pistol and fires at the frog, hoping to hit the blasted thing in his wild thrash. The shot goes wide somehow missing the truck sized creature.

The large frog, holding onto Rasputin's left leg ignores the large 200 lbs stone which slams firmly into its head, and with a flip of its's tongue and mount, pulls Rasputin into his mouth and swallows. The yell in Russian can be heard over the mic as the ooze covered creature begins to grind down on the small miniature man sized meal..

"Bad frog!" Sage complains, realizing her bond with wild animals doesn't mean they will all try to abide by her wishes. With the rifle at the ready, she unleashes a tri-pulse from her laser rifle. It likely wont give her much satisfaction, but the creature has left her no choice but to fight it for her friend. When the other man's screaming can still be heard, she uses her radio to loudly give the other man a small bit of advise. "Quit your screaming and concentrate on being something it doesn't want to eat! Shoot something that looks vulnerable, use a vibroknife or something to start cutting it, figure out a way to taste bad! Anything!" Feeling momentarily helpless, she squeezes off another pulse as she tries to think of something useful. "Tirzah!" She calls out, as if making sure the other woman knows that there's trouble. Likely unnecessarily.

Tirzah smiles slightly as the frog swallows, eliminating her risk to hit Rasputin with the molten plasma the large gun she pulled ejects. Immediately she starts hosing down the frog with the intensely hot liquid.

And hoses the ground.. Apparently Tirzah 's rapid descent was a little too phasing.

Rasputin is being swallowed, kind of an odd experience as the frog's digestive track tries to pull him to his stomach. He holds onto his pistol with 2 hands and tries to fire off two blasts. Perhaps he can hit something, considering he is covered in frog it can't be that hard right? And of course, he figures out a way to successfully fire at the creature and hit it from the inside.

Just as the frog is about to pull its new tasty snack into its stomack full of acid it explodes from the inside into a horrible smell. A mix of rotten eggs, burned flesh and well.. Vomit. Rasputin takes a little acid bath, as he is thrown free of the new oozing dead frog.

Luckily for Sage, her sealed environmental body armor will keep her from experiencing the wonderful spells of exploded frog. Despite the initial surprise, she tries to avoid any ... splatter that may follow the initial bit. Once she gathers her wits, she begins to approach the area once its settled down. "Are you okay, Rasputin?" She calls out, unsure of where the man may have ended up.

Tirzah blinks as the frog explodes quite messily and stops hosing. She also stops breathing as soon as the noxious fumes near her nose. Dismounting she rushes to the Russian's aid. "Lets get him out of there and washed up and I'll vaporize the remains." She offers to her partner as she starts to reach into the much for the telltale hardness of armor. "I dont think this is what Rasputin meant by offering a new food source."

As fate would have it, Rasputin is already fairly washed off, as he landed in the hole that the frog came from. Apparently, it had dug its self in and was just waiting for some poor unexpecting... Dwarf? To come by and get eaten. Of course, that was before it was 'tossed' and well, that is that, as they say. Rasputin is pulling himself out of the water, right hand gripping his NG-45LP, and his left dragging himself up the mud covered bank, "Da, da, am beink OK. What was dhat think?" Then he sees Tirzah's intent, "Net, net. Frog's legs! Da Frog's..." He trails off as he sees the creature, all turned inside out. He pauses a few moments to collect himself.

Tirzah raises her brow at the abbreviated russian at his reluctance for disposing of the carcass. Smirking she shakes her head slightly. "Take off your helmet and take a deep smell of this proposed delicacy. If you're still appetized at the thought of it then I will abstain."

Starting forward to help her partner fish the man out of the frog's remains, Sage pauses when the other's search doesn't seem to be certain. Surely they couldn't have lost him already. When the russian's voice comes from a different direction, she feels a little relief but can't help but giggle a little at the clinging remains of the frog on the armor. "Nice look..." She teases, before pausing to consider the possibility of 'frog's legs'. She purses her lips, unable to take a whiff of the area for the time being. "Not sure it counts as frog legs when it'd fill the table and the ones next to it."

Tirzah raises her brow at the abbreviated russian at his reluctance for disposing of the carcass. Smirking she shakes her head slightly. "Take off your helmet and take a deep smell of this proposed delicacy. If you're still appetized at the thought of it then I will abstain." She offers, reconsidering the remains and the muck she is knee deep in.

Rasputin mutters and again tries to tug his beard with his left hand, as he slams the pistol into his holster on his right leg. Of course his beard is not reachable in the helmet, good thing too. "Da, da. I'm a beink OK." He sighs, and looks at the large frog, "I am not needink to smell, to eats. " He chuckles and pulls out his vibro-knife, He starts to quickly pull off the large legs, "Just lettink me takes these, and cleans them, then you can beink nuking the rest, da?" He start starts on it, then after a few minutes he mutters in Russian, "Ruined. My shootinks..." He shakes his head, "Nukink it." He walks away unhappy.

With calm beginning to return to the clearing, Sage glance around to make sure there's no sign of any other surprises for the time being. "I'm glad you're okay." She comments, before chuckling softly to the insistence that smell doesn't matter. She wont take off her helmet to indulge in the smell, though. She moves in to watch the man handle the vibroknife. It seems to start off well... before it goes down hill. She resists the urge to jump in as things start to go bad. "Perhaps you should have left me... you're still shaken up." She comments hoping to appease the man a little. She eyes the remains and considers if anything can be salvaged.

Tirzah is happy to oblige burning the wretchedly smelling carcass from the earth and starts to thoroughly cleanse the corpse with molten plasma until all is gone. She raises her brow again as Sage momentarily appraises the corpse as well. "Really guys, we're not 'this' desperate, we can make better use of our space." She assures before extracting herself from the stream to clean up as the ash and remaining smell flows south. You paged Sage with 'Rasputin's cuts and slices were that of a skilled cheif. Perhaps there was just too much damage done, or the slicing weapon wasn't sharp enough to make the exacting cuts. You can try a roll if you like, Skin & Prepare or perhaps Wilderness Survial."'

Rasputin gets out of the way of Tirzah's cleansing strike of plasma. He puts away his knife and then looks at his armor. Then looks at Sage, "Next monster frog, I will takink mores times, da?" He smiles a bit, "Dhis one, dwells, it tried to be eatink me." He sighs, "Suchink a waste, da?" He looks disappointed. He walks back to the water's edge, and washes himself off a little bit, "Do either of you thinkink this could raw more? I am thinkink, da?"

When her partner is only too happy to cleanse the area, Sage seems content to get well clear of the area. She can't help but chuckle at the comments between the other two. "Next monster..." She says to Rasputin, before glancing to Tirzah. "And, not everything needs to smell good to taste good..." She comments, trying to bridge the gap. She shrugs faintly before looking back to the man. "No use worrying about waste now, though..." She comments, before considering the man briefly. "I'm not sure... but, perhaps I should make us something to eat. Let you relax a bit."

Tirzah just shakes her head over both Sage and Rasputin's persistent belief they could make something edible from something so vile. "Suit yourselves, but i didnt see wither of you remove the helmets that protect you to savor the aroma. And smell can be very key to something tasting good as you often semll the food to judge its cooking progress." She counters stubbornly as she puts the plasma thrower away. Though her mood brightens greatly when Sage moves on to suggest cooking.

Rasputin pulls of his helmet and inhales deeply, "Da, Roast'ala'mondo'frog." He chuckles and now, finally, tugs his beard hard. Now clean, he bends down and looks at the remains, "It did do a big of bangink to my armors. But I think I'll beink OK." He looks at the vehicle and his armor. Then he looks around, "Should we beink move? Or perhapsink use this caucus as baits?" He sighs, "I'm nottnk sure."

"I was just speaking generally..." Sage comments, deciding not to argue whether the smell of the remains would equate to an edible meal. "Either way, we wont have to worry about it now." She comments, before she glances back to Rasputin. "That is what armor is for." She comments softly, before she glances to their surroundings. "Well, it depends on whether you think we can get to another site before dark... and whether the new place would have a different surprise waiting for us. At least we've found the one here..."

The radio crackles, and Sebastien's voice filters through, "Depends on what you would like to hunt. Is it that you have seen track of any specific beasts? You would attract a scavenger with this smoking ruin, perhaps, but larger targets would need fresher bait."

Tirzah nods in agreement with Sage. "I concur, we've dealt with the room service here, no point in trying our mettle again somewhere else." She says before considering the option of bait. "I dont think i would want to eat anything that considered that food.."

Rasputin nods slowly, "Da, so we staink. Dhough, tonight I won't be sleepink heavy, da?" He shrugs and tugs his beard. He looks to Sebastien, "Mostink scavenger's, da? Manink of dhose are net good," He shrugs, "But some thinks wants the nasty." He ponders a moment, "Perhapsink, a snack before we loosink da light." He walks over to the hovertruck to wokr with sage on making something for dinner. On his way over to the truck, he puts a new e-clip into his NG-45LP, double check's it is working, then starts to help.

With the direction of the conversation, Sage wanders towards the vehicle/camp site to wait for the conclusion about whether to stay or go. "Alright." She replies simply to the decision before she starts to gets out what she'll need for a pleasant snack for them to help calm any nerves stirred up by the activity. She leaves the conversation about bait and scavengers to the others for now. "We've been out here for days," Sebastien's voice filters through the radio. "Perhaps the stories of these dinosaur-infested woods are simply that. I have not even seen a Coalition patrol, and we ought be close enough to Whykin for that."

Tirzah snickers as she helps herself to a snack and listens to Seb's chatter. "Thats because Whykin doesnt have the standing forces to patrol the apalachians, which we crossed to get here." She corrects, wondering about the knights knowledge of geography before she remembers he is from the north. Still attention to the terrain he rode over should have given some indication.

Rasputin continues to work on the meal, "Well perhapsink evenink if we get a Scavanger, we can be findink somethink useful. If net for eats, pehrapsink for trade with collectors or hide for armors? Somethinks. Dhis trip is for profits, but thus far we have seeink good land and frogs that are liking short peoples."

"I'm sure we'll find out soon enough... we're fairly close to them now." Sage comments, without really looking for the source of the conversation about dinosaurs or the Coalition. She reaches over to give a quick playful poke as she realizes the snack that had been taken. Then she glances briefly to Rasputin. "The first trip is not necessarily the best for that... but we should be able to find something." She comments, before considering what's left to do for the meal. "Anyway, shouldn't take too long to get food ready."

Sebastien doesn't skip a beat. "Those were mountains? Some day I will need to take you west, mademoiselle, and show you the granite wall at the end of the world." He breaks through the brush on Sara, the pair forming amalgamation of flesh and steel that moves as one lithe beast. "I have never been this far East. I have been around Missouri, and once to Iron H -- ah, Quebec now, but never here. I heard there were slavers, alien demons who took people." Tirzah nods, flinching away from Sage's poke with a grin. "Further west on the coast. Used to explore the mountains quite actively in my youth, never this far sough though." She explains to the distant knight before turning to smirk at Rasputin. "We've been here all of half a day. You really expected it to be so densely populated? If it was it'd be too dangerous to come. We'll find them before long tomorow, I can scout out a feeding her from the air and then sage can take a closer look, and we consider are approach. Maybe two or three more days before we head back if you want to head back full."

Rasputin nods slowly, "Da, da. Dhis true, I am still a bit surprised by the frog's appetite am thinkink." He chuckles as he tugs his beard and then produces, sandwiches. Fresh, loose meat, sandwiches with sprouts, tomatoes, lettuce, and even a little mustard and mayo. They are small, perhaps half as large as normal sandwich but there are perhaps a 8 or 10 of them, "Dah, foods will be makink me feel better da?" He smiles and looks over at Tirzah, "Perhapsink if you do some scoutink, that would be goods. Give us more informations, da?"

"I'm not so sure I am..." Sage muses, "you were bite-sized after all." She chuckles softly, giving her head a gentle shake in amusement. When she settles herself once more, she removes her helmet if she hasn't already done so and takes up one of the sandwiches. "Let's eat." She agrees, before glancing over to her partner. She nods faintly before she begins on her sandwich.

"Lions, tigers, bears, dragons, why not?" Sebastien asks Tirzah. "You see almost all of that walking down the streets of Kingsdale every day. But ah, a big game safari on Silver Street might be less politically correct." Kicking a leg over Sara, Sebastien falls to the earth to land a pair of inches into the loamy soil. Stepping free, his boots dig into the earth as he makes his way towards the dwarf. "Some day, Rasputin," Sebastien notes while reaching to tug his helmet free, "we will need to speak on the nature of, ah, 'trail food.'"

Tirzah shakes her head at Sebastien's continuing belief that she cannot handle herself as she picks up a sandwich. "Sure I can scout ahead, keep an open radio and let you know when I find something, or vice versa. That is what I do for work after all." She states, adding some intentional volume to the end directed at Sebastien. "And tonight I'm going to conjure some additional munitions. Should have thought to do it last night too, but oh well." She laments before biting into the sandwich.

Rasputin settles down, a sandwich in each hand. He looks at Sebastien and grins, "Net, net. Even dhough you are on trail, net means you have to eat 'trail food'" He then finishes off one of the sandwiches in just a few bites, "So, then I am thinkink Tirzah scans the area, and we stay heres. Perhapsink ,we will get lucky and somethink will be comink to us?" Rasputin looks at his armor, "I will be makink sure to castink armors spell nextink times, if it doesn't tryink to swallow me."

"I imagine we may draw more interest when we're trying to pack away a fresh kill..." Sage comments, "Although, I'm not entirely sure what true advantage we'd have by drawing them here... aside from possibly not having more company than we draw to ourselves. I suppose it depends on how we aim to take the creature down while keeping it interested." Sage shrugs faintly before returning her attention to the sandwich.

Sebastien reaches for the food, fingers grasping in air over the little sandwiches and frowns faintly. Two hands. Many hungers. Tilting one armored arm, the young knight's eyes narrow briefly as white wispy tendrils lit by their own inner luminescence coalesce over his arm to form a buckler. Small, round, with a knobby point in the middle. Grinning down at his creation, the knight tugs it free and up-ends it, to begin piling foods on his little bit of imagination. Glancing up then, and looking a little startled, he asks, "What? Is it that anyone else heard that?" He peers about eyes casting briefly at the treeline before he adds, "that sounded like ... testosterone." His eyes widen at Tirzah, before he grins. "Non, it was the wind, I am sure."

Tirzah pauses at Sebastien's remark, clearly unsettled. She takes a slow shallow breath before putting the rest of her sandwich down and walking away from the group to her cycle. Silently she mounts and fires it up, ignoring any protests as she dones her helmet. And then she is off scouting.

Rasputin watches Tirzah wander to the bike, "Just aroundink the areas, do be careful, da?" He says, then chuckles as there is no way she can hear him over the bike and the fact he doesn't have his helmet with a radio on, makes it worse. He finishes his sandwich, "Soink the bodies is a bit away from us, should be goodink, da?" He leaves the rest of the sandwiches so that others can partake.

Sage glance between her partner and the knight, "That's not what I hear." She says simply, with her gaze directed towards Sebastien before looking towards Tirzah. << Don't have too much fun out there... >> She muses into the other woman's mind. Then having little else to do for the moment, she goes about finishing off the food she wants. You paged Tirzah with 'So, when we finally get to your pose. You see something. Something fairly large bi-pedal and hunched over moving our direction. You can't get a clear site of it, but it is reptial and moving this way.'

Sebastien peers at the body, and narrows his eyes. "It will attract attention. Something will come for a free meal. Let us hope it is just wild dogs, and not bigger." Tirzah's sudden departure garners a long look after her from Sebastien, the young knight watching her as the cycle climbs into the air. Keying his mic, Sebastien notes on the radio, "Change to channel four at twenty hundred hours. Happy hunting."

There is no reply over the radio to Sebastien's instructions and wishes. Though Sage gets a firm mental smirk. She does check in every hour though, scouting a full 50 miles about them in quadrants. She notes several small herds of scavengers, one herd of bone head dinos, and a tritops carcass being feasted on by three raptors over the several hours she spends out an about. Sunset nears as does the time for her last report from the east. "On my way back now guys and it looks like we have company. I cant seem to get a clean look at it other than being bipedal reptilian and headed to the camp. Based on its fairly rushed pace i give it fifteen minites to reach you. I'm going for a closer look and a better id." That was the last heard from her, fifteen minutes ago.

Rasputin looks to Sebastien and then to Sage, then goes about his business. He was just about to take a nap when Tirzah's radio call came in regarding the 'uninvited guest'. He looks up , "And I am here withoutink coffee cake for dine guests." He smiles, "Should we be perhaps preparink?" He grabs his rifle, and shot gun, and looks for a place to take some cover.

He smiles, "Should we be perhaps preparink?" He grabs his rifle, and shot gun, and looks for a place to take some cover.

The sun is slowly setting in the west, and the shadows are starting to grow long across the ground. Sebastien, Sage and Rasputin are near the Hovercraft and fire. The tree's to the north of them are a thick mix of broadleaf trees and pine type trees. What is left of the frog body is near the river, with a fairly good sized clearing before the three and the body and river.

"You should be in your truck," Sebastien opines, even as Sara begins walking out into the open. He glints in the waning sunlight, the low sun casting a broad shadow in his wake that bathes the earth in momentary night. "Hovering overhead, so that you may fire down and be more mobile if someone needs support." Nervous fingers flicker to his vambraces, checking the grenades there, before reaching to his chest holster to tap the latch on his 12" shotgun pistol to eye the red shells inside. The weapon clicks shut, and the knight draws forth two unorthodox swords. Each bears a ring of ugly-looking teeth, and the knight just waits. Head down. Listening to silence, feeling the attenuation of the proverbial sixth sense along the nape of his neck. And presently he says simply, "Soon," and concentrates, meditating on the coming rush of anachronistic muscle and sinew.

Rasputin shakes his head, "If I am up in da air, I can net be helpink with shootink. Net, I will be taking cover in back of truck, da. Dat way I can have coverink and helpink with shootink." He pulls out his weapon and climbs into the back of the hovercraft to get some cover and begins to cast a spell.

Sage purses her lips as she looks around the area considering the possibilities, figuring on three likely ones. "How tall is it, Tirzah?" She asks over the radio as she makes her way to the hand holds that would let her get to the top of the vehicle.

Behind the beast moving steadily towards the camp a void of darkness trails, starkly foretelling of the coming night. "About ten feet tall, its probably an Allosaurus. Must say they have quite the camouflage. If it wasnt moving through the brush so carelessly I wouldn't have seen it." Tirzah's voice comes over the radio. As she continues she starts to channel her link into a spell. From afar, Tirzah is casting phantom, will finish next pose

Presently Sebastien's eyes open, his body leaning forward in the saddle. The knight leans forward, heeling Sara to begin walking towards the distant tree line, her steel-shod hooves digging into the soil. "Here, kitty kitty kitty kitty," he breathes into the radio, waiting for it to break free into the open.

Rasputin finishes his spell, and a shimmer of magic glides over his body. He then climbs up onto the top of the hovercraft, to meet Sage at this top spot. He puts on his helmet, draws his shotgun, "Da, what is an Allosaurus? 10 feetink high? Hmm."

Once on top of the vehicle. Sage takes the time to secure her helmet and prepare her rifle. The pistol is eased to allow her to reach for it more easily should she lose the rifle. "Well, if its only 10 feet tall, we better lay down to prevent a ramming knocking off over the side." She comments, "Better stay spread in case it has a long tail or something." She comments, moving to one end of the bus and settling down on top of the vehicle as best she can.

The spell Tirzah started finishes with a brief sigh of relief over the radio as she continues to trail the beast. "Well if the T rex is the king of the contemporary dino's this guy is the prince, smaller but more nimble and possibly intelligent. Where as the T rex using intimidation to corner prey a few Allosaurs will set up a very cunning ambush. Which begs the question of what this one is doing heading for the camp all alone.." She lets the observation hang.

Sebastien is sanguine. He's gone to that quiet place in his head. When the first beast doesn't break free of the far foliage Sara stops her slow advance, and the knight holds his swords at a low ready. His mount stamps impatiently, her armored plates rustling softly against one another, but they just sit. All in good time.

Rasputin takes a knee, and just waits. He can't hear anything yet, but it should be soon, right? The thing should be coming into the clearing any time, right? Rasputin says on his helmet mic, "Were is dhis think? It should be comink soon, da?"

"May I suggest we worry less about when its arriving and start planning what to do when it gets here?" Sage comments, taking a moment to glance around and figure if there is anything else that may be a concern shortly. "Are saving it for meat or just killing it first and worrying about meat later?"

"I can see you guys now from here. We're less than 100 yards away so I would say the arrival is eminent. And yes if we want any meat left on it it would be good to tell me so." She notes, reminding the group that her inventory is not really aimed a preservation.

And the last guest to the party finally arrives, it bursts into the opening and looks around. It see comes out into the opening, with a pounce, then looks back and forth. It quickly homes in on the carcass, and heads towards it to eat the remains of the monster frog...

The dino has gone for the carcass, it apparently doesn't understand the idea of a trap. It seems to be ignoring everything save for the food. It's head is down, chewing out a large chunk of the animal.

"Unless one of you has fought these before," Sebastien speaks a touch distantly, "we take it as quickly as possible to minimize risk. We salvage whatever is left. If it is easy, we find another one. If it is hard, we are all still alive." The young man holds up a sword, waiting, and suggests, "Count down and take your free one together. You only get one. Then I will keep it busy."

"The way its charging, it might be hard to hit anything beside the head as it is..." Sage comments, deciding that it may well be the quickest way to kill and keep most of the meat. "Shooting anywhere else with a plasma thrower would probably spoil more meat." She'll follow that logic with the first blast of her weapon. A tri-pulse surging out towards the beast's head.

Tirzah smiles and looks to her summoned phantom as she extends her forearm vibroblades. "Enchant my blade with frost friend, we'll stick to cold based attacks." She instructs the elemental entity and it enchants the blade as requested. Meanwhile she conjurs a pair fireballs one after the another, sending them at the predator's eyes.

Rasputin targets his large shotgun at the creature, "I would be likink that we shoot dhis think in the neck or head. I would be likink to take it for the meats, if we cans. Ifink it is too hards, then we switches to bodies? Da?" He fires a quick shot at the head.

The shot goes wide, as a flume of magical fire fires from one of the barrels.

The creature flips its head up and roars in pain! The scream can be heard for miles around, it looks up its left eye gone. The empty smoking hole now exposes the optical cavity, luckily the fire cauterized the wound. Ht looks towards the only think which was fireing fire, the hovercraft and charges it raming its body into the side of it.

The creature flips its head up and roars in pain! The scream can be heard for miles around, it looks up its left eye gone. The empty smoking hole now exposes the optical cavity, luckily the fire cauterized the wound. Ht looks towards the only think which was fireing fire, the hovercraft and charges the metal box hoping to harm it...

That's his cue! Sebastien heels Sara, a small cloud of dirt and grassy clods flying behind him as the pair charges to intercept the charging dinosaur. Leaning low, the knight aims to cut in front of the creature, picking up speed as he swats at the thing's nose with the flat of its blade, trying to draw it away.

The dino sees the large red flag that is Sebastien and follows him instead of striking at the hovercraft. It is amazing how quickly such a large creature can turn and now is chasing the crazy horseman.

Dinosaur! But he's riding hard and fast, and the thing's behind him. The young knight carefully sheathes his swords, grabbing a hold of his horse before leading her in a broad turn, circling the open area of the camp to draw the monster about for another broad pass in front of the truck.

Muttering to herself as sudden tenseness of seeing the large carnivore burst into view must have caused her to pull the trigger just a little too soon. The knight's distraction attempt is noted and she tries to adjust to the change of direction. "I wonder if its female..." She comments, "Would that make any difference, Sebastien?" She hopes the little jesting will loosen herself up to help improve her aim. Once she thinks she has the lead right, she squeezes the trigger once more.

Tirzah smirks slightly as the two fireballs dont quite connect at the same time causing the shrieking reaction from the first to pull the beast's head out of the path of the second. She is partly relieve that the beast doesn't turn on her in turn until she sees it charging the vehicle where Sage is. Relieved once more when Sebastien draws it away. Nodding to the elemental she throttles her bike and they join into the foray. Tirzah slashing at the creature's neck with her frozen blade twice in her pass, the elemental releasing an orb of cold at a leg.

Rasputin taking full AIM and calling his shot to the creatures head, he aims his shotgun at the Allosaurus and squeezes the trigger carefully, hoping to nail the damn thing.

The beast screams in frustration and roars again, as it takes another nasty shot to the head. Still not as bad as the fireball to the eye, but the skull is now exposed showing bone and flesh searing in the fire. It seems totally confused right now, as Sebastien leads it, the flame hits it, and flashes of light explode around it. Then there is the cold, biting feeling. It leaps and chomps towards... Tirzah's biting nasty sword...

The large creature bites in air, catch Tirzah and doing a nasty gouge in the armor which he wears...

And it peels off. That's no good. "Sara!" Sebastien calls, and the horse turns to tail the dinosaur, intercepting as the creature's releasing Tirzah back to the air. A loud SNAP! and the air fills with the smell of ozone as a double spear of light lances from Sara's eyes, and then the pair ram into the allosaurus. A pair of psychic blades flicker into place in Sebastien's hands as he releases the reins, rising and falling as he batters at the creature before him.

A soft sigh escapes as this shot flies a little wide of the mark, but Sage is getting closer. She tracks the dinosaur as it moves. "Look ou-..." She begins to call as she notices a shift in the dinosaur's posture, but its too late to warn Tirzah about the attack. She holds her breath a little and lets it out as the dinosaur doesn't end up dragging her partner to the ground. Then the knight comes in to muddle things. She takes a breath and sets to taking aim at the head. Its a tight shot right now, she needs to be sure...

It's mistress injured the phantom pulls back the stops by conjuring a blade of light into its hand and slicing into the beasts face.

And then it's distracted by something non-Sebastien-like! Well. The young knight growls under his breath and stands on his stirrups. "Never said this would be easy," he utters softly, and does exactly the wrong thing. With a short leap he's off Sara, reaching to grab at the Allosauras' neck. He's trying to get on the back of the bloody thing!

Maniacal laughter fills the airwaves as Sebastien braces himself against the dinosaur's neck with one hand and reaches to his waist to draw out a chainsword with the other. His body flows with the terrible lizard's, a graceful motion uncommonly seen outside the bedroom, even as the high-pitched whirr of an electric saw blade fills the late afternoon air.

Rasputin shakes his head at the crazy attempt by Sebastien, and then just chuckles with the fact he successfully got on top of the darn thing. He lets go of his shotgun and draws his pistol. He just gets ready, and doesn't fire yet.

Tirzah recoils at the beasts jaws closing about her arm, but not fast enough. She lets out a soft cry as the leather hide of her armor is nearly stripped away arm and all. When she is released she immediately pulls back, channeling her link into her armor for reinforcement as she lets the phantom continue to menace the beast with its lightblade.

The summoned creatures blade strikes, and strikes true. A gout of blood flies from the head, and the ceature, with a whimper, not a scream collapses to the ground. Cerebral fluid flowing from the several large wounds on the skull, the remaining eye goes lifeless...

Murmuring to herself, Sage tries to shut out the distraction that is Sebastien as he goes to play cowboy with the dinosaur. She stills herself as best she can, tracking the head as it moves about. "May this be true and no friend get in the way... may its suffering be ended swiftly and mercifully... nature's balance remain unfettered..." Her fingers goes to squeeze the trigger... before she sees that the flurry of activity has brought the beast down. She lets out a breath as she doesn't need to worry about firing. Her finger slides away from the trigger. She gazes at the fallen beast. "May it find peace." She pauses, then remembers that her partner was attached. She switches on the radio, "Tirzah, are you okay?" She asks as she starts to get to her feet.

Sebastien's arm raises, chainsaw whirring, as he yells, "YeeeAAAAH! YEAAAAAH! Yee-" he quiets, puzzledly, the momentary silence punctuated by an "AAAH!" the creature collapses beneath him, with the knight finding enough purchase to kick off and fall clear in a metallic 'thump!' as the beast crumples.

Rasputin shakes his head, and there is concern in his voice, "Tirzah you and Sebastien OK? Did it harmink you?" He holsters his pistol, and funnels magic into his shotgun for next time. Only then does he crawl up to a knee, and scan the area, "Da? OK?"

Tirzah smiles under her helmet as the phantom strikes the beast down and gives an approving nod. "Thank you very much friend." She says to it before looking to Sage and giving a slight nod. "Yes, came closer that i like to admit to not, but yes." She assures as she lands her cycle, dismounting to check the damage to herself and anyone else.

"Good... Well, as long as everyone's okay, we should probably start working on the carcass... unless we want to be hip deep in scavengers." Sage says, as she begins to move towards the closest set of holds to climb back down.

The knight plants one gauntleted hand on the earth, and presses himself slowly upwards to eye the fallen lizard. That pig-nosed helmet isn't far from the creature's head, and he leans forward, reaching to extend a finger and poke at the one remaining eye. Once. Twice, and he shies back a moment to watch for twitching or snapping before climbing to his feet. "Its bark is worse than its bite," Sebastien replies, and flickers an amused glance at the redhead.

Rasputin slings his shotgun over his back, and this time goes into the hovertruck for tool, he comes out with a few devices designed for cutting. He smiles, "Da, let us work on this one correctly, with skills, da?" He smiles, "Ares anys of you skilled at butchering meat?"

Taking her helmet off Tirzah nods as she looks at her still enchanted blade. "I have some skill in the field." She tells them as she walks back towards the carcass to consider the task.

Setting aside her rifle for the time being, Sage moves over to claim one of the tools being offered. "I'm fairly skilled myself." She comments, hoping that it will translate better than her aim with her rifle. She moves to the carcass to select a place to work on it.

Tirzah, Sage and Rasputin all set upon the large carcass with tools in hand. They spend just over an hour and a quarter. Rasputin has several clean tarps to wrap everything up. Only the entrails and those pieces which are truly waste are put into the stream so as not to attract other creatures. Due to the skill of the attackers, and the fashion at which most of the attacks took place, most of the body is intact. Even the head, with a few holes, isn't too horribly damaged. The trio take care in getting everything they can from the creature. They work until the sun has completely gone away from the sky and the early stars are showing.

The young knight holds his flashlight on the kill, the ultra bright light focusing to form a shadowy cross at its most directed, and as he twists it out the light diffuses to a fairly consistent white wide-beam light. "I would like a few of the teeth," he notes some time through. The knight remains in full body armor as they work, and occasionally whistles and whirls his finger for Sara to do a walk around the camp.

Sage's approach to harvesting the meat is simply to get the meat out as quickly and efficiently as she can manage. There is no wasted meat but the cuts could be more style concious. Once she's pulled the final piece out, she doesn't make any effort to hide her hard breathing.

Dirty, it is how Tirzah feels and looks by the end of the carving. Her armor is very durably and flexible. But its also permeable to water and other similar fluids. As such she might as well be swimming in the blood of the dinosaur by the end. She holds her tongue from complaint though, keeping her focus on the task at hand. At Sebastiens request she quickly cuts off the lower jaw and tosses it towards him with a grunt. "Take your pick."

Rasputin watches the exchange of the teeth and the jaw, "Do pleasink keepink the jaw mostlink in tact, da? Pullink a few teeth, but do not be hurtink the jaw. I am thinkink I know someones who mink buy it da whole skull, da?" He looks around, the job done, and he casts a simple spell on himself and he is clean of all of the ichor and grim. He looks to Tirziah and Sage, "Might I assist you boths in this manor?"

The night grows dark. Well, darker. Even before that jaw hits the ground, Sebastien's flashlight has flickered up over Resputin's low-slung head to inspect the wilderness beyond. "Sara?" Sebastien asks, and whistles low, beckoning the horse back from the far end of the camp. His boots crunch around the slaughter as the knight slips away, light bobbing up and down faintly as he adds in a quiet voice, "Helmets."

Sage glances over towards the man as he comments about Tirzah's removal of the lower jaw. "It may be best to know what you want before such happens... but, I'm not sure who would want a skull that damaged." She comments, figuring the weapons likely wouldn't have left it without several damaged spots. Then she nods to the offer, "Please." She replies, before looking over to Tirzah. "Although, you should probably do Tirzah first." She adds, before sighing softly to the comment about helmets. She bends down slowly to pick it up before putting it into place.

Tirzah looks very relieved at theo ffer from Rasputin and smiles as Sage invites her to go first. Stepping up she unzips her suit to her navel to let some of the blood out. "Should I take this completely off?" She asks with a slight blush. "And sorry about the jaw, was in another frame. It should be rehinged easily enough, certainly less of an issue the the cut right through the ridge though as Sage mentioned." She apologizes before looking at Sebastien and his remark and then to Sage. "What's he going on about?"

Rasputin shakes his head, "Net, net." Rasputin shields his eyes a little bit, to give you the modesty he apparently thinks you should be beholden too. With a wave of his hand, and a flick of words passing his tongue, the ichor and mess is gone from Tirzah's body. Rasputin wonders about what Sebastien is talking about as well, but doesn't totally understand.

Sebastien's fingers drop to his belt, drawing free one of his vaguely ridiculous-looking chain swords, while the flashlight pans to his left. Then over to his right, momentarily, crossing beyond him in the night, and back to his left to stay. The knight pads towards Sara, reaching awkwardly to the horn of his saddle with a flashlight-carrying gauntlet, and makes the leap up into the saddle before heeling his horse into the brush. His flashlight is most visible back there, paralleling the camp along the outskirts. Away from the camp, back into the camp, then forward. And up.

A brief glance is given to Tirzah as she says about whether she should strip down, but Sage's attention seems to drift off. Her head cocking to the side as if listening for something the rest of them can't hear. Switching on the loud speaker, she makes a rumbling growling noise as she tries to mimick an animals noise of challenge that gets accentuated by the speaker. Then she switches her attention to communicating with the people with her, "We may have need of something discouraging soon... and possibly a little pyrotechnics to see by..."

Tirzah blinks as she is clean, smiling wide at the marvel. She blinks again as Sage foretells of more company, her smile vanishing. "I dont have much of my link left from the last fight. I can summon another phantom, or do a few small things, but not more unless I take some time to absorb from the phantom or Rasputin. If I have a minute that would be enough." She explains, already focussing on channeling the last of her link into the spell.

Rasputin has already moved over to clean Sage, as she speaks to about uninvited guests. He looks around, "Another uninvited guest? More, fewere? Larger smaller?" He looks back, "My lady, I shall save the cleanink until afterwards, da?" He pulls free his shotgun and gets ready by casting something on himself. "What dhis it beink?"

That flashlight dies in the trees, though the rustling continues. Sebastien's not the only thing moving amongst those leathery leaves. A glint of steel and the rider breaks into the open at a leap, a sword in each hand, and Sara runs back into the camp, gaining speed, while that french-laced voice calls, "It is not over 'till the fat dinosaur sings!"

Sage tilts her head the other way as she tries to listen to that silent impulse, "Smaller..." She decides, "Sneakier..." She shifts her attention, "Probably want the meat..."

From the bushes four man-sized theropod's jump from the bushes. They have powerful hind legs with nasty claws and small claws on their forearms with razor sharp claws on those as well. They leap from their hiding spots out into the open, presenting 4 targets.

The little tingle that runs through her is enough to tell Sage that a simple display of flash may not be enough to drive them off. She decides to slip into a position to protect against the creatures to the right of the vehicle

The little tingle that runs through her is enough to tell Sage that a simple display of flash may not be enough to drive them off. She decides to slip into a position to protect against the creatures to the right of the vehicle - if she were facing it. A show of force, she decides. Rather than worrying about a headshot, she simply grabs her rifle and targets the closer one of the two. A tri-pulse soon zooming towards its intended target.

Finishing her spell another invisible phantom is pulled into the plane as Tirzah grabs her plasma thrower. Looking to the phantom. "Open yourself to replenishing my link please friend." She asks of it and instantly she can feel the well of its own link feeding into her.

The first claw flashing creature jumps forth and covers the ground between it and Rasputin in moments, flashing its claws it attempts to tear in him and free him of his mortal spirit.

The creature lands a blow as the shimmer of Rasputin's magical armor takes the impact.

The young knight gains speed on Sara, tearing about between the group and the fire, twin far blades whirling about his head to come to the left side of Sara before he engages their hungry teeth. A twin flicker of blinding white light spears the furthest target to a peal of thunder against the target furthest to the east as Sara races towards it, bearing down with the roar of an angered knight. "Is there no END TO YOU THINGS?" he yells, blades swinging parallel to one another scythe-like as Sara boulders on past.

The second Raptor to show its fangs copies the first, and jumps into the air attacking the same small Dwarf with it's nasty claws. It tears into the armor, but luckily the magical armor Rasputin has on himself holds a little longer...

Seeing that it can not hope to catch the mounted rider, the third and last standing Raptor jumps high and comes down into Sage, attempting to cut her as deeply as it can.

Rasputingets banged and bounced about, then he reclaims his composure aims at the chest of one of the two claw wielding Dinos and scores a solid strike against the First. He keeps backing away, knowing he needs help, "Da, I could be usink some assistance, DA!"

Throwing herself off to the side, Sage manages to avoid the attacking raptor. As she tumbles a little to the ground, she grabs a handful of dirt to toss towards the raptor's face as it likely will turn to look towards where she ended up. Then, figuring she'll just need to deflect the creatures claws, she opts to settle her hand back onto the rifle and try to shoot the creature in its torso.

As soon as she has enough Tirzah channels her link into her armor reinforcing it with magical force and smiles slightly as she levels the plasma thrower at the raptor attacking Sage. "Help the dwarf." She tells her aid as she opens fire and it does so without hesitation unleashing a lightning bold on the raptor from the heavens.

The blasts from Sage's rifle thrash into the Raptor, blowing out what little of its chest was left from Sebastien's fierce series of attacks. It falls to the ground lifeless.

The first raptor, infront of Rasputin jumps at him, using its hind legs to tear what is left of his magical field down to nothing. Rasputin backs up with the impact but otherwise, some how, the damage only took down the field... Barelly.

And yet none of these six-footers can compete with the power of the Twinkasauras Rex! He slices, he dices, he makes julienne fries! Blood sprays from the East, bits of dinosaur giblets fly as the first raptor dies like a gecko in a blender. A pair of glancing blows tags the second, and Sara turns in a broad circle as Sage's laser volley downs the second. Leaning low, the knight races across the field, spraying a V of water as Sara's hooves nick the river's lapping shallows and she tears between the truck and the fire. Another snap of artificial daylight spears out at the nearest raptor, and Sebastien's blades swing first right at that beast, then whirl about to come over and down on the second as he splits them with his charging steed.

With deft skill the first Raptor falls down and drains out what little blood it has left.

The only raptor left, seems presses its hopeless attack, still trying to take a bite out of the small Dwarf, who is fleeing back away.

Rasputin finds his footing and dodges away from the nasty raptor's claws. Then as he clears he lifts his shotgun back into range and fires away.

And the last of the nasty creatures falls to the ground, dead. It's chest ripped appart by the last blast of the firebreathing shot gun.

In mere moments, an attack which came out of no where has ended. Four raptor's lay dead bleeding out all over the ground. More carnage than originally had been intended. But still, no one was hurt besides these sneaky predators.

Sara wheels in another tight circle, and Sebastien comes tearing back into the camp! Only to find the festivities drawn to an early conclusion. His shiny armor's sprayed with stripes of bright red blood, and Sara got the worst of it down her flanks. As she blows a snort red bubbles come free, and the knight reaches down to pat her gently. He touches the trigger to one of those swords again, spraying a fine mist of blood about in a halo, and he mutters, "I need a real sword. ... at least they're self-cleaning." He keys the other one, spraying blood at the fire. "The longer we stay here, the more attractive we are to, well, more of them."

As the raptor that had lunged at her falls, Sage glances over towards the other creatures only to see that the others seem to have things well in hand. She rises to her knees and murmurs soft words to herself about the passing of the creatures. Taking a breath, she rises to her feet. "What do you want to do with these?" She asks, sounding a little tired, as she gestures towards the four new carcasses.

Tirzah nods to Sebastien in agreement as she puts her plasma thrower aside and turns to her aid to continue replenishing her link. "If we are to clean these or not we should move into the transport and ascend for the night atleast, if not relocate entirely. The smell of the blood in the soil here will draw many for some time." She suggests.

Rasputin nods slowly, "Da, da. Lettink us clean these as wells as we cans, then be movink. Sebastien, do you mindink to keepink watch?" Rasputin, having not even had a chance to put away his tools gets about getting ready to strip these creatures down.

"The last one was large, and robust!" Sebastien replies to Sage, looking aside to stare at the Allosaurus' body. "These ones were small, handy-sized. We take them whole. We will strip the feathers, claws, and other trophies in the air and just hose down the truck bed when we get home."

"We should gut them at the very least..." Sage replies, "At least it wont take as long..." She concedes to the point about these being smaller. She wanders over to claim one of the tools. Unless there's any strong arguments against it, she'll try to make quick work of the gutting process on the ones closest to her.

Tirzah nods accepting the notion to gut them first. Taking up another she extends her vibroblade to do so quickly. Then hands the carcass to her aid to carry back to the ship and it does, collecting the others as well.

Rasputin quickly works over one the bodies, gutting out any of the nastier bits. "Da, lets be guttink them and dhen gettink out of here. I am thinkink, we head back to our first spot? Da? If I flyink faster, shouldn't be takink more dhan 3 or 4 hours, da? Or another spot somewheres?" He has already cleaned out one of the creatures and is moving onto another.

The knight isn't talking any chances. He's mounted on Sara, his swords open in his hands. Dripping blood and thicker things, as the fluids caked on his once-shiny armor grow black in the night air as they settle. "You could always let me take the wheel, spell you as you grow tired," Sebastien suggests. "I have been known to shave an hour or two off a long trip on occasion," he brags with a wide grin.

With the decision to gut the creatures quickly taking hold, Sage doesn't worry too much about style. It nearly costs her early on, but her skillful hands manage to avoid disaster. Once the gutting process is done, she will do her best to drag the body figuring the blood will slick the body enough to make it that much easier to move. "Was hoping there might be a little exploring... but, the service was a little too good, I suppose."

Tirzah makes her way to her cycle to get it onto the hover vehicle before more locals show up.

Rasputin finishes up with the last body and loading it into the back of the hovertruck. He smiles to everyone, and gets you all to line up. He quickly uses his magic to clean the icky stuff off of all of you, then looks exhausted. "Perhapsink, if you could be helpink flyink we could just make a straight shot backink to Kingsdale? We are fairly full and I would not want anythink to spoil, da?" He starts to climb into the hovertruck, "Nextink time, perhaps we will find a net hostile baseink camp. Da? Do more scouting Sage, da?"

"Yes, SAGE!" Sebastien adds accusingly, and flashes the small dark woman a quick grin with laughing eyes. At a snort from Sara, Sebastien's eyes flick up, and he adds, "I know, dear, we'll get you clean soon." Jogging out into the wild, he makes a couple return trips carrying a raptor a piece, and finally begins stripping from his armor there so as to not filthly up the cabin. "Rasputin!" Sebastien calls ahead. "How's about you take us off, and I will, ah, take over in two hours. We will just trade." He winks at the small man, his grin falling like a light switch flipped off as soon as the small man's back is turned. And climbing forward, he eyes the little guy at the controls. Paying very close attention.

Sage glances over the knight, with a faintly raised brow. Her gaze shifts to Rasputin, she gives the man a brief nod. "If I'm along, sure." She comments, before considering what's left. "Thank you." She adds when she's cleaned of the blood and guts accumulated from the fighting and butchering. "I think I may just find a spot to meditate on the way back... since I don't suspect anyone will want me trying to fly this time." She says with a little humour before she heads into the vehicle.

Tirzah smirks as she is cleaned again and moves to follow Sage. Her hand searching out her partners to knit comfortably. "perhaps we can both 'Meditate'." She offers with a sly grin and cute giggle.

Rasputin nods, and fires up the hovercraft, "I'm goink to head towards Kingsdale. With the extra weight he kind has a rough and rocky start. Then, after a few minutes figures it all out again and starts to head towards Kingsdale. He is going much faster than he was before and a bit higher off the ground to ensure nothing reaches out and hits the vehicle. He keeps steady, well awake as he flys towards home.

The trees fly along below them, and Sebastien watches the controls. Not *that* different from the craft he's used to. The pedals are different. Every time Rasputin looks back he gets a flash of Sebastien looking away, smiling, or apparently staring down at the ground below, even as he leans over the dwarf's shoulder. As his turn comes up, Sebastien eases himself down into the seat, pressing the accelerator, and gripping the wheel a little too hard. "I'll ah, I'll call you if something comes up. Or goes down!" he assures cheerfully, winking once as the craft begins drifting to the left. Muttering obscenities in French, the young knight places eyes forward and levels out, before grinning and weaving a little. On purpose. Of course!

Sage's hand foils her partner's attention this time around as she decides to slip her arm around her partner's shoulders to allow herself the luxury of added support while using a gesture of affection. "Uh-huh..." She says doubtfully as she catches the other's tone on the word. A faint curl comes to her lips, << I think you should think of something nice... >> she suggests softly into the other's mind. Then, she goes to find a comfortable place to send the hours of the trip. "And, if you still have one of those things around... might want to keep our meat cool if possible."

Tirzah smirks at Sage's sly redirection with a slight nod, supporting her weight on her shoulder without complaint. "It should have just enough juice left for a wave of frost over the meats." She says and gives the nod to her aid for its last order. Then as Sage settles down Tirzah works her boots and socks off with a content smile. Her hands warming to a soothing heat as she starts on an extended foot rub.

Rasputin takes a small nap, and then takes over in about two hours, and without further issues you all land outside of the Deli, where Rasputin has you all help him off load everything down to his basement freezer. Which, oddly, is huge, and can take all of this extra meat. Almost as of he or the previous owner had the for thought to make sure you could store a lot of food in there.
