Golden Carafe - Tirzah' Rooms

With a military-style equipment case in one hand, Brady uses the other to rap upon the door. Shave, haircut, and he even remembers the two bits.

Having just gotten home from work a bit late Tirzah was reheating some dinner as is apparent from the delicious odors that waft out as she opens the door. Her expression is blank until her look over of Brady reveals the case and she nods slightly before stepping back from the door. "Come on in."

Brady flashes a grin, bends his brim, and moseys on in. "Special delivery, just for you, Red." He chuckles at his own bit of joke and tips his hat back as he glances around. "Nice place you got, here. Guess the folks up in Coventry ain't the only ones with all the creds." His mosey continues for one of the couches, where he can make himself at home, claim a seat, and set the case upon the coffee table.

Tirzah shrugs shaking her head slightly. "Coventry has bigger apartments like this many of them holding a private jacuzzi or other such luxury. But the Carafe is unique for its affinity with the capabilities of those who use the arcane and modeled its suites appropriately all I had to do was mention a fire theme and it was mostly taken care of." She explains as she makes her way back into the kitchen to collect her dinner. "Would you like a drink or something?" She offers, her tone mildly generous.

"Sure. I ain't one to turn down hospitality." Brady bends his brim again and settles comfortably into the couch. A brow quirks and he fires off a chuckle. "You just need to wiggle your fingers to get the booze to show up, too?"

Tirzah smirks and shakes her head after a quick bite from her meal. "No I actually make my spirits the old fashioned way. Elemental magic is very specific, cant just conjure whatever I can imagine at a whim." Is her reply as she recovers a brandy glass from her cupboard and fills it half way with a deep red thick liquor. Carrying it and her plate over she hands it to the man before sitting across from him. "So, what did you manage to get for me?" Nov 26 06:05:48 106 PA - Tirzah's New Duds and Brady Keeps His Marbles

Brady takes the drink, and a tentative, tasting sip, then sets it aside, momentarily. He leans forward and pats the case, then unltaches it and swivels it around towards her. "What I've got is the bestest of the best. It ain't magical, but its some of the finest imported hardware your credits can buy. Makes the deadboys look like second-rate militia." The case is popped open to reveal the steel gray plates and suit inside. "Top of the line sensors and HUD, tougher than most anything without reactor in it, and it weighs less than the case its packed in."

Tirzah hrms in slight approval and nods. "Good enough. Will have to consider some personal detailing but that's my affair. I trust then that my budget was adequate?" She asks, keeping her expression neutral, the practiced poker face to keep the dealer pushing.

"Just barely," Brady admits with a mix of pride and lost percentages, "but I squeaked it in. Skin of the teeth deal, so I hope you like it." He reclaims his glass and takes a larger swallow before gesturing with it. "This ain't bad, neither, considering you made it yourself?"

Tirzah nods, setting her food aside to stand and pull out the armor for consideration. "I did, have a couple of bottles all of them incorporate beneficial herbs for greater effects. Growing up I spent a lot of time with an alcoholic blacksmith, and well that probably says enough." She explains before rising to walk over the fire. "And since it was tight for you, here." She starts pulling out grape fruit sized orbs of blue burning flame. Five in all, each labeled with a date 10 weeks hence. "These are fire globes, throw them at something you want to burn and they explode. One can turn the best armor to slag in minutes. Perfectly safe though, no intent, no boom. They're good till the marked date." She explains.

Brady quirks his brows and the unexpected tip, but quickly recovers with a broad grin. Another solid swig of the drink is take before he gestures to the table with the remainder. "I mention I'm throwing in this quality carrying case, just for you?" Curiosity now has him rise to take a gander at these great balls o' fire. "You make these, too? Must've been one hell of a blacksmith you knew, drunk or not."

Tirzah smirks and shakes her head. "He was very good, but not that good. These are magical, part of my arcane ability is to create these. I've been stockpiling as many as I can manage in preparation for the trip to Madhaven. But as we seem to be relaxed on our departure time I have some extras." She explains before rising to walk to her closet a retrieve a sack to put the globes in. "Do be careful with these though. The fires are very hard to put out and very intense, unlikely anything you threw them at in haste would survive."

"Sounds like a good thing for a weapon, to me." Brady splits his attention between the booming baubles and her, with some cautious touches upon the former. "If it just tickled, wouldn't be worth throwing, or even making in the first place."

Tirzah nods handing the sack to Brady with a smirk. "Indeed, just only right that you are fully aware of their capabilities so you can use them appropriately. I trust from your grin that this is a very welcome profit margin for you?" She asks as returns to her seat to take her plate back up and have a few more bights.

Brady nods and even fully tips his hat. "Much obliged for the tip, Red. Things ain't always grand on the up-front, you know, but that's just the way doing business works." The sack is taken, and the maiming marbles are crafeully placed within. They made be safe, but there's no reason to test that overmuch.

Tirzah nods again, her smirk enduring. "I do, and I know the benefit of a good business relationship. You'll remember this later, perhaps when you find something that would interest me, and we can barter once more." She explains, her smirk becoming a very confident smile. Which combined with her knowing eyes may give the feeling that she has several such arrangements..

"Don't worry, Red." Brady sits back once he's got all his 'marbles.' "You're one of my best customers, and I always keep an eye out for them. Guess I won't need to look too hard for anything you might like that we might find at Madhaven, though, since you're riding out, too."

Tirzah shrugs taking a moment to finish her meal and set it aside. "Well if I'm not your only customer I'm honored by the privilege. But don't think you can slack off in your attentiveness just because I'm there. Four eyes are better than two." She advises before rising to return her plate to the kitchen.

Brady settles his bag and chuckles. "Didn't say I wouldn't be looking, just said I wouldn't need to be looking too hard for /you,/ Red. There's plenty of others with needs to fill, and I can't play favorites all the time."

Tirzah gives a mock afronted sneer and places her hand on her hips as she turns to look back at the gunsligner from the kitchen. "And why not? I can surely make it worth the preference. Not that I want claims on anything exclusive. Just keep in mind, you wont find someone who can give you a better deal than I."

Brady downs the last of his glass and chases it with a laugh. "Don't get your britches in a bunch. My eyes'll be plenty peeled for you." The empty glass is waggled before he sets it on the table. "Ain't too many offer me booze they made themselves..." A smirk returns, wry and firm. "well, not any fit to drink, anyways."

Tirzah nods and relaxes into approving smirk. "Very good then. Would you care for another? Perhaps something different?" She asks, apparently showing no qualms over antoehr free drink from her stores. "I have an absinthe derivitive that unlike the type you can buy, does not taste like paint thinner."
