Whenever you need something from an admin, use this system.
This way, there is a record of what has been done and asked and all admin can see it. For the most part, if you ask an admin for something (Sheet changes, plot questions, buying things, etc) they will tell you to write a job (or queue) it, so save us both the time and effort and do this in the first place unless it's a simple question.
Now, let me specifically direct your attention to LEGWORK.
This is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING on Chronicles of Kingsdale. If you want your character to investigate things, for example, you want to ask NPCS questions on the Dinosaur problem you -MUST- submit a +job on it with what you are doing, who you are talking to and that sort of thing. -ANY- investigation you want to do must go through this queue.
As one can already see, Chronicles is plot heavy. Thus, use the legwork queue often. Is your character interested in following up on things? Things he wants to ask, see, do or investigate? +Job it. The admin will reply in the appropriate format via @mail or request a scene with you.
Don't wait for the plot to be brought to you. If your characters are interested and want to do things, investigate things or the like, queue legwork! No matter how minor.
This is how TPs at Chronicles of Kingsdale evolve. Through YOUR actions, and Legwork is part of it. It is also PERFECTLY reasonable to queue legwork for something you're doing offline. For example, you can queue legwork that you're posting flyers giving a reward for bla bla bla, etc, etc, etc. Or talking to people, or the like. If the admin want you to do the specific thing on camera, they'll tell you.
If you have questions regrading the Jobs system (queue), then use the +request command and entry a request for help. Or hit up the Public channel for staff. Or even use +staffcall to see if any staff member are online who can help you.
Oh, and if you want to buy things IC'ly. Do NOT @mail admin for it. +myjobs are your best friend. We'll be telling you to use them if you @mail us for things that should obviously go in them.
+request/<bucket> <title>=<body> is the request format.
The Buckets are:
- BUILD For building issues and typo reports.
- ITEMS For mundane crafting or customization.
- LEG For plot legwork.
- MAGIC For magic or psi issues.
- PURCH For purchases with an NPC/Shop. (Check NPC Vendors first.)
- RULES Rules questions go here.
- SALES For sales with an NPC/Shop.
- SHEET For adjustments to character sheets.
- TW For TW items and issues.
- WIKI For MUX wiki needs.
