The Kingsdale Military has approximately 12,000 troops at any one time. They have a very diverse mix of personal and are equipped to handle any number of situations.

Officially, the Kingsdale Military is split into four groups: Donner's Division, the Forest Rangers, the City Guard (KDPD), and Magic Militia. These four groups are in charge of protecting the city of Kingsdale. They know, that should the CS choose to attack in an all out offensive they could never hold. But the figure of 12,000 could easily double if not triple with Kingsdale residents to support of the city.

Donner's Division: A regular army, designed for defense of the city.

Forest Rangers: A group of highly trained scouts who officially patrol up to 50 miles away from Kingsdale. A 50 mile circle around Kingsdale, is considered Kingsdale's protected zone. The Forest Rangers and Donner's Division are always on patrol, protecting travelers and farmers who support the city. But unofficially have been known to patrol as far as 300 miles away.

City Guard, or KDPD: A group which specializes in the protection of the city. Mostly KDPD, but some militia personal who work within the city to protect it from civil unrest.

Magic Militia: A group of several thousand magic and/or psychic individuals who work with both the KDPD, Donner's Division, and Forest Rangers.
