It's Tuesday morning and the work hour is coming along slowly. Outside, the hustle and bustle of the morning is in full swing, but Zachary's home is a spot of calm as he goes about his breakfast preparations quietly. He's dressed in his dark, dress casual norm and his hair is still just a bit damp from the morning shower. His feet in socks and slippers, shoes and bag laid down next to the couch in preparation for his departure. A small egg white omelet with just a bit of cheese and lean ham is being put onto a plate, his half full glass of juice sitting nearby.

Stepping out of her apartment late Tirzah is not carrying her bag for the gym as she normally does in the mornings, but simply ready for work. Dashing down the stairs she brings herself to a halt after just one flight, to walk down the hall of the floor below until she finds the door to Zachary's apartment. Rapping on the door with a trio of staccato knocks she waits for an answer as she retrieves a small special leather purse from her coat.

The plate is laid on the table before the couch lightly and Zach is amid a drink from his glass when the door is knocked upon. He blinks, the glass lowering. Settled lightly as he crosses over to open the door. Though when he lays eyes on Tirzah, at his door, a soft frown touches him. "Yes, what do you wish?" he asks quietly.

Tirzah smirks at Zachary tossing the purse slightly and catching the familiar weight. "Business. You got my package last week? I wanted to get back to you earlier but work's been crazy, still is. But I trust the payment you got was satisfactory. And now I'd like to discuss what we can do and what we need for our find." She explains simply, still fairly damp from the shower herself.

"Yes, I received it. Perhaps a bit much for what I did, but it is welcome," Zachary replies softly. "If you mean, what we can do as meaning the idea to make a device to produce food, I have done some looking and have not yet found a spell that produces food via magic. Without that, there is nothing to be done in that regard." And while he is polite, there is a bit of stiffness to that polite. He hasn't invited her in yet, either.

Tirzah nods considering that and what little she knows about magic outside her link. "I felt you deserved a decent share for providing the vehicle for the initial journey. It could have been damaged after all. A risk worth rewarding. Maybe not food, but there are spells that heal, protect, repair, even create. Perhaps the better route is to look at the gems we have and consider what we can make with them." She suggests before twirling the purse on her fingers.

Zachary shakes his head slightly. "That is backward thinking when it comes to my trade. You define what you wish to do, then you determine how it will be done. One cannot know how many of which gem will be required until one knows how many spells and at what level of power will be needed. It would merely be a benefit to have some of the needed gems on hand, rather than having to purchase them." He goes about the explanation simply, "There would also be the need to get the spells. My own collection is slight. I had not delved too deeply before and now I haven't enough to buy spells, save those most needed. Thus far I have limited my designs to that which I have, until I can generate the credits to seek more spells."

Tirzah smirks at Zachary with a generous smile, kind of like looking at a depressed little brother. "Well I've got about eighty thousand credits. Now I don't want to dump all of that on spells but I'm sure that's a sizable amount to get started. So don't worry about funding just yet, its spells we need but i cant even begin to procure them without some direction." She notes, confidently holding stride to push things forward.

"You already have a direction to go. You want spells to create, build, repair and heal. I've heard of some, though someone would have to research to generate a proper list of potential candidates. With that, you could decide what you want to do, based on what those spells can do. Or if you wish to find something in a more abstract sense, define the rough end result first, which would reduce the number of spells you need research. At that point, I would then have to decide how to effect that desire and how much it will cost." His expression remains even, his speech polite.

Tirzah nods wondering if her imaginings of what the device might look like are that the young techowizard is implying. "So a booth the heals or repairs whatever you put into it?" She asks as she crosses her arms to place a finger to her chin as she thinks. "I've seen Vargus throw a neat protection spell, a veil of magical energy. That good be useful too I think." She notes as she ponders.

"Given proper spells, either of those two ideas could be made. I can research the spells that might be required. I've not seen those that repair yet, but the healing spells are of many levels. From minor to major. They would require power, of course. I can't yet estimate how much, but once I know the spells required, I could make some rough estimates. But something that large, it would require more resources, I think. The larger the project the more time it would take."

Tirzah nods at the increasing factors of the project. "Well I dunno. What would you design to heal, repair, protect, or create? Am I the first to ever ponder this? I would have thought such designs would be common place. Which designs are common place?" She enquires, figuring she might be going wrong in straying from the mainstream.

"I would not make them in the same device for one. While it can be done, it can be more expensive than not," Zachary replies. "One of the things about Techno-wizardry is that few of the designs that are made become standard. Most are limited to regions in which they are made. I'm sure someone has thought to make things like what you desire. But finding them is no small matter." He pauses and frowns faintly again, his expression thoughtful. "I suppose I can investigate the ideas you offer, though I am currently building several new devices of my own devising, my time is limited between that, work and.. personal pursuits. But I will see what I can come up with."

Tirzah nods, seeing the logic in that. "Maybe a device for each group then?" She asks as the ideas diversify n her head. "Should it be an appliance or a tool? Does it matter?" She asks as well, might as well learn what she can while she has his attention after all.

"The form of the device depends on many things," Zachary replies. "A booth could work, simply because that's a logical form factor. But so too could the shell of a hand held scanner. It would likely work better logically for small wounds, should a lesser spell be used. The form of the device doesn't necessarily have to make direct sense. For example, I am making a device that projects a field of fire immunity. It's being built into the shell of a small power pack that has had its internal parts reworked to the needs of the spells involved. THe shell is merely a shell. Sometimes it makes logical sense for the device, sometimes it does not."

Tirzah nods, considering that. "Alright i duess i'll got spell shopping after work then and get back to you another day. Thanks for answering my questions though." She says with and appreciating smile before pokiting the purse and heading off to work.

Zachary nods his head once. "Very well. The spells and the desires are the core from which we build," he reaffirms. "Good day." Again, not with more than a polite formality before he steps back into his home, the door closed quietly before he goes back to his breakfast.
