The current game time is: Tue May 24 16:46:11 106 PA.
Ambrielle is a short woman dressed in a lightweight, tight grey hoodie, zipped almost to the neck, covering a light green dress that seems to pour out from under it. The dress is loose and made of some relatively thin material that moves easily in a breeze, which is probably why her legs are covered in a pair of calve length white tights. On her feet she wears a pair of shoes that are almost slippers, with no socks, and then seem to have been made with comfort in mind. Her skin is pale and clean, the later a rarity for her, and her short black hair is secured back by a wide head-band that keeps it out of her face. She wears a pair of thin framed glasses that seem to make her large grey eyes appear even bigger. She is quite attractive (PB 22), which can be easy to miss at times with her work being what it is, and her general apathy when it comes to her appearance. This isn't one of those times.
Afternoon finds Amber awake and on the couch, goggles over her eyes and laptop on the table before her, a thin fiber optic line conecting her to the device. She's deep in some sort of work, it hard to know exactly what, but her hands work furiously as she assembles some piece of code or another. She's dressed in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, and it appears that she hasn't showered yet, her hair still tousled from a night spent with you.
The door's lock clicks, the entry of the key soft enough to be almost silent itself. Then opens the door, Zachary stepping into his abode. And both surprised and pleased to find Amber has come already. Or not left?. "Ambrielle, I did not expect you to be here," he says just two steps in, though his tone is welcoming. Warm. The door is closed and he turns to start divesting himself of things. His carryall laid down to the side. His boots nudged off. His overalls, spattered with the grime of work here and there are still on him, though he does lift his hand to draw down the zipper on the front, a plain white tshirt revealed when he draws it halfway down along his chest.
Amber's head turns to face the sudden sound, a hand coming up to point towards the door as she gives the universal sign for "one more second" with her index finger. Both hands move furiously before the laptop for a minute more before she reaches up to remove her head gear, tossing it onto the laptop as she bounds off the couch and into your arms, "Hey baby how was your day?" she asks as her arms snake around the small of your back. She stands on tip toes and presents her lips to you, hoping you'll meet her halfway.
Zachary will, both in the kiss and in approaching, already moving nearer when she finishes. Her hug is returned and he will dip his head and squeeze just a little with his wrapped arms to give a soft, lingering kiss to her. Not that it is an act entirely selfless. "A bit tiring, but that is the nature of good work," he tells her, a soft smile worn. "Did you.. stay in the whole day?" His eyes lift to glance about a moment, softly curious. Though there isn't a negative lean to the question as he returns his attention to her. His arms will relax, hands slipping back to rest on her hips.
Something odd flashes across Ambers face as she turns back towards the couch, your hand in hers as she leads the way, "Uh, yeah, I had some work to do, and It didn't really require me to go anywhere, and then I guess I sorta lost track of the time." she plops down the couch, her palms coming up to rub at her dry eyes before she yawns and stretches her hands over her head, "I hope you don't mind? I was planning to clean up before you got home, but I guess I sorta dropped the ball on that." her smile returns as she looks over at you, hands folded in her lap as she sits cross legged on the couch, "You hate me now don't you!" she pouts for a second, but her grin shatters her jest.
Zachary is led, only softly concerned with the state of his place. Won't take too long to tidy. Though in the now he is more focused on her, nodding as she speaks. At the couch he settles himself down lightly beside her, a hand resting on her thigh gently. The touch almost without thought on his part. "Oh no, of course not," he replies, a warm smile given. "You are welcome here and I must admit it is a pleasant surprise to find you here when I arrive." The hand on her thigh squeezes gently and he adds, "Have you eaten?"
She seems to consider this a second before she nods her head at you, smile still on her lips, "I guess I am, I must have skipped right over lunch, and you're don't have alot of snacks laying around." she smirks rocking a bit as she looks down at herself, "I probably need a shower first, and I hope you don't mind if I'll be wearing the same thing as yesterday, I really need to bring some clothes over here," she looks up at you, grinning, "Just in case, if thats alright."
"I don't mind at all," Zachary replies, giving her a soft pat with that hand before he rises. "Why don't you see to yourself and I shall makes myself comfortable and begin preparing for dinner," he suggests. "You may wear anything you like here. You'll still be quite beautiful no matter what it might be."
Amber rocks forward to kiss you before she gets up and starts to walk to the bathroom, "I shouldn't be too long, just have to wash a bit of last night off me" she looks over her shoulder and winks at you before she grabs a towel from the closet. She disapeears into the bathroom after that, the sound of the shower turning on easily heard as she left the door open, "So how was your day, do anything interesting?" she calls, a T-shirt flying out the open door.
Zachary moves back into the bedroom just a bit once she's headed in. And will emerge not more than a minute or two after with his coveralls and underclothes traded for a pair of dark, loose pants and matching tshirt. Barefoot be starts to pass the bathroom door as the shirt flies out, this bringing him up short, glancing towards the open door, though at an angle that veils what lies within. "Today was mostly common work. Which is well and good. Nothing too strenuous and thus nothing too exhausting." Of course, she can hear that he is near as he lingers by the door.
"Good and bad, I'd guess, I'm sure you'd like to be doing something more exciting, once in a while. Building something magically operated Stereos and stuff" a light laugh can be heard as shorts and panties go the way of her shirt, the sound of sliding shower curtains can be heard twice, opening and closing. She has to raise her voice a bit as she continues talking, "I know I can only clean off a eclip element or re-align a laser mirror so many times before I want to bang my head on my bench."
Zachary does finally get the nerve to peek in once she's actually gone in. The curtain is only semi opaque, though that doesn't stop the young elf from gaining a soft pink to his cheek. So illicit to look in on a woman's showering, despite all they've shared together. And he doesn't linger too long, quickly moving past to get to the kitchen. His own voice rising to call back, "I have been working on some designs, actually. For Techno-Wizardry. And I received a request for an interesting device."
Although she hears your comments, she doesn't respond as she finishes her quick shower. Ten minutes later the water shuts off, and a few minutes after that Amber steps out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped around her head. She takes a few steps towards the kitchen and grins at you, "How do i look?" she laughs pleasantly, "You said I could wear anything!" Hands on her naked hips she grins goofily at you for a moment before leaning on a near bye counter, "What sorta request did you say you received?"
Zachary almost drops the salad when Amber comes in with only a towel.. though not in the right place. Surprised, yes. Though that passes, though the eyes linger with a decided lack of the casual in how he inspects her, even as he starts speaking. "Oh, well.. Leonard. He requested I mane something. For one of his friends. Uhh.." He stalls a moment, then blinks and comes back to himself. "For a friend, yes. It seems she has some issues with her abilities that make it hard for her to get close to people," he finishes, shifting the bowl to a counter. He's nearly finished a simple meal. A varied salad with a half dozen sandwiches made up with lean chicken, cheese and tomatoes.
Amber looks very pleased at your reaction, one might guess it was exactly what she was hoping for, and she can't help but smile over at you, "Well thats pretty nice of you, and I guess I shouldn't be surprised, Leo sure does seem to have a lot of lady friends." she shrugs a minute, walking over to give you a kiss on the cheek before bounding over to the bedroom, emerging a minute later in a plain white t-shirt, one of yours. Her towel is gone now, and her half-dried hair hangs not unattractively about her face, "What sorta abilities are those, exactly? And what are you going to help with?" she smirks as she finds her place on the couch again, and she takes a moment to consolidate her mess and clear the table.
Zachary looks after Amber as she goes. Could he do otherwise? A soft breath breathed, his cheeks pink as he goes about finishing the preprations. Once Amber is settled and the table is clear, Zachary emerges with two plates balanced on one arm, the bowl in the crook of the other, two glasses pinched by the rims in his fingers and a pitcher held by the other hand. His approach careful, but smooth before he nears to kneel and carefully array the items on the table. Two of the sandwiches halved on his plate, four on her own. The salad with a light dressing to add flavor and a good quality juice in the pitcher. Apple strawberry. "Her powers have to do with fire, thus he wishes me to make something using the spell which renders a target impervious to it. Though it must be small.. easy to wear as it is meant to protect those who she might be close to." He settles himself beside Amber then, looking towards her. "If this includes.. well, intimacy, I'm not really sure what might work aesthetically and fit within the principals of Techno-Wizardry."
"Ha, well now that sounds a bit like Leo, I guess, he sure does like the ladies.." she shakes her head, smiling at you, "Well its very nice of you to help him out, and I wish I could offer more help, but I think i'm a bit outa my league here." she shrugs, "This looks great, and I'm sorry I make you cook for me all the time. I know its probably the last thing you want to do when you come, working for me, I mean." she giggles at you, leaning in for another hug, "I'm glad you're home though, at anyrate. I missed you!"
Zachary furrows his brow slightly at the talk of Leo. "Well, I could not speak for him, but after what we have shared.. the thought of someone who is barred from being close to others in that way is a sad thing. To help her.. I could hardly not do so." He smiles, his arm slipping around behind her, drawing her against his side softly. "I like to cook for you. And I do so for myself anyway." His other arm wrapping her in a close hug. "I missed you as well, Ambrielle." And after, his arms release her to start portioning out the salad. "Actually, I think you might be able to help me.. as a woman," he notes.
Amber's grin widens, "Yeah especially if he's the one hoping to get closer." she bounces a bit over to you, snuggling close as she lets a hand slide over your thigh, "You know I love to help you," she grins, kissing your cheek, "As a woman, i mean, of course." her voice is playful as she she kisses your neck, and then settles back to her original position, "Though something tells me thats not exactly what you meant." her eyes flicker down between your legs, "At least not originally."
"Well, no.. not at first," Zachary admits. And while he's not been unaffected by the delights of Amber's presence, he's at least discreet about it. Usually. "I mean, uh.. well, the problem I have is picking the form. Something for her to wear, which can be worn during.. well, sex. As I would assume that is.. a desire for her. Something understandable for me. Especially now." There is food there, but he finds himself fixed on Amber, the arm finding its way around behind her again, his cheeks a soft pink.
"Well thats a toughy" she says as she looks at you, lips pulled tight as se she seems to be considering. She looks down at the space between you, her eyes unfocusing as she stares thoughtfully ahead, "I guess I don't know enough about what you do to really come up with an idea? Does the form have to mimic something? I mean, couldn't you just make a magical ring that does it?" she looks up at you, head tilting to the side to rest against the couch.
"No.. he suggested jewelry, but it doesn't quite work that way. At least, not easily so," Zachary replies. "There needs to be a mechanical element. For a ring or jewelry, that would require miniaturization that would make it quite expensive. It can be small, but not tiny. Something worn on the body that is not true clothing or jewelry. Likely I will have to make something from whole cloth for this, I think, rather than modifying what is already made, as is common practice. That will make it a bit more difficult."
"That sure does make it hard, cause I know i never want to have anything on when i'm rolling around with you." she takes a moment to get a few sandwich slices and makes short work of the, Hmmmming all the while as she continues to give thought to your problem, "Maybe a network of rings, lightly strung together? One ring might be too small, but 5 or 10 might do it? Almost like a fingerless glove, I guess? It wouldn't be optimal, but better than nothing?" she smirks, letting out a melodic giggle, "Who'd have thought I'd be here chatting wtih my boyfriend about how to help one of our friends have sex." she shakes her head, grabbing another sandwich.
"Well, I don't know that Leo has thoughts such as that towards this woman.. I don't even know who she is," Zachary notes. "I don't wish to give the wrong impression." She's alluded to it a few times and he puts that in first off, to be clear. "And that will still be troublesome. The rings remain small.. so what goes in them will have to be very small. A larger ring, perhaps. A bracelet might still be a bit too small for it. And a belt, perhaps, too conspicuous. An odd thing to wear while with someone." He'll keep that arm about her while she's eating, the shop talk and her enough to hold his interest. His other hand dipping to stroke her knee as they speak.
"Well then thinking bigger is the obvious way to go. Forget super connivence for now, why not build something attached to the bed? Size won't matter as much that way, and it allows for all the same contact and no prep work to put something on?" She looks up at your hopefully, smiling, "I mean, I guess its not really what he was asking for, but with something that size, you could offer more protection, not just for a person but the bed itself, maybe?" she shrugs, another sandwich finding its way to her hand.
"And what of being other places?" Zachary asks. "The idea is a good one, though I think, perhaps, one could be.. excited by who they are with in other places. I've seen some whoa re quite passionate in showing their affections in public. I would think that perhaps it might be best to find some means for it to be portable to give freedom. Freedom is the goal. It is quite the quandary, is it not?" He smiles lightly, softly rubbing her knee.
"You're never going to get freedom if you have to carry a device around with you where ever you go. Seem to me the best option here would be for this woman to get herself in order, learn a little self control." she shrugs once more, "I guess I don't really have a lot to offer for this, i can't even conceptualize what the limitations are for something like this, I always just thought magic could do magical things."
"It can, that is true. And it can be made into items like jewelry. Unfortunately, while Techno-Wizardry can do amazing things, even it has limits. Just as all things do." He squeezes gently on her knee and with that arm, murmuring, "I thank you for attempting to help me. I will consider your ideas, perhaps something will come of them." He'll release her then and lift up one of his own sandwiches to eat.
Knock knock knock. Another casual tapping upon the door, firm enough to be audible.
Amber looks up with eyebrows arched, her hands pulling the T-shirt she wears down a bit, her folded hands pushing the bottom into her crosslegged lap. "Expecting someone?" she asks, looking a little mischievous as she makes no effort to get up to leave, or cover up.
"I had not," Zachary admits. The two have settled on the couch for a quick, simple dinner of salad and sandwiches, the time slowly ticking towards five in the evening. Though he does look to Amber with a question in his eyes, the dip of them to her current choice of attire. "I will see who it is," he says then, rising up. He's more casually dressed, in dark pants and tshirt. The door opens halfway once he gets there. Spying Leo he wonders aloud, "Leonard. Are you in need of something?"
"Evening, Zachary." Leonard offers the elf a smile that is polite, yet not especially joyous. "I simply thought that I would accept your offer of conversation, if it still stands." He is also far more casually attired than his norm.
Amber looks like a fox in a hen house, her grin oddly devilish, filled with a confidence not usually seen in her, "Hiiiii Leo!" she calls out from her perch on the couch, her defiant act against modesty almost carried out, but fails last minute as she grabs a small couch pillow and places it on her lap, covering at least some of her. She looks over at Zach and lets out an inaudible giggle, hand coming up to her face to help keep her quiet.
Zachary furrows his brow slightly at the revelation of Leo's reason for being here. Not a bad furrow, but a tad concerned. He glances back towards Amber, finding her.. not upset? He then looks back to Leo and nods his head once. "It stands, yes. In fact, Ambrielle and I were just discussing the request you gave, for the device." I do not mind speaking now. That is, if neither of you mind it." As he could see that either may have issues with it. His head turning to glance towards Amber, then back to Leo again.
The call from the couch (and behind the half-closed door, to him) draw Leonard's smile a little wider. "Evening, Amber." This is directed to the door before he shifts his attention slightly to return to Zach. "I've no objections, but I wouldn't want to interrupt anything... important."
Amber doesn't seem to mind, and she shakes her head to show she doesn't mind. When Leo enters, she offers him a small wave, "Long time no see1' she offers his way with a smile. She arches an eye brow at him as he speaks, and glaces down briefly at herself, modesty winning out as she notices that in her haste to cover her bottom reason, she'd stretched the thin white fabric, causing to to cling else where. She adjusts quickly, and looks up, a bit red, "We were just finishing up dinner, and discussing ways to help you with your newest conquest." she grins at him, teasing a bit.
Zachary will step aside for Leo to enter, then close the door once more, moving towards the couch to retake his place, but not before motioning towards the nearest of the chairs. "Make yourself comfortable. Would you like some juice? It's a mix of apple and strawberry." Though he does give Amber a firm look when she teases Leo. "I suppose now is a proper time to clarify such a thing," he adds. "I did not make any such suggestions."
"Juice would be welcome, thank you." Leonard nods to Zachary as he enters and then moves to the couch. It has been some time since he's seen Amber, and he takes in the sight. "You've become even more creative and daring with your clothing, I see. It's a lovely look." His smile curls at the corners as he responds to her tease in kind while take a seat upon a chair near the couch. Then a brow lifts as he looks between the two. "Which conquest is that?"
Is it cold in here, or does Amber just love the praise, teasing as it might be? Its a mystery, for sure. She shoots you a little post, the shirt straining against her body a bit before she makes a face at you, "You woman you're so hot for you need special protection, thats who, Mr. Wizard!"
Zachary will see to the juice for a moment, his own glass not yet filled, he does so and rises to bring it to Leo. Offering the glass just as Amber decides to prod so forcefully. " Ambrielle, please!" Just a touch of firmness and exasperation in that as he looks to the young woman. "We were speaking of the device for the woman you are aiding and her issues with her own powers." This said as he looks to Leo, then to Amber again. "We don't know her relationship to you, though I suppose now would be a good time to clarify that, if you would do so." With that he goes into the kitchenette to get another glass.
Leonard takes the glass from Zachary, but Amber's antics hardly go unnoticed. He looses a chuckle at the prodding while his eyes take every advantage of her display and the elf's movement to the kitchen. Zachary's concerns are assuaged with "Oh, it's quite alright. I don't mind at all. She is a friend, and I regret her predicament and wish to help. I can't say whether I'd be sharing in the benefits of my intervention. That's her decision, of course."
Amber's eyes go just a tad bit wider as she grins, head shaking at you. Her mood is odd, considering the last time she saw you with someone who wasn't Vixen, but she doesn't seem too bothered, "He knows i'm just teasing, Zachary! Such talk shouldn't make you blush so much, considering...." she winks over at him, eyebrows waggling before looking Leo's way, "I'm sure she'd be overcome with gratitude, and of course would need to test out the goods, to make sure they work!" her eyes dip down scandalously, hoping to generate a bit of ambiguity in her words.
Zachary doesn't reply to the teasing. His brow is a touch furrowed, however. No blush, but there is that soft concern. As he emerges again with the fresh, clean glass he decides to forward things a bit. "It must be effected first," he notes. "I still can't decide on a proper form for it that would be both portable and not too small to be augmented. Until I can devise a proper form for it, it cannot yet be made. Though there is the concern that this spell won't last very long. It could be taxing for her to use over time. I've studied the spell. At best I could have it effected for spans of up to 15 minutes per siphon of power. Not a great deal of time." He sits beside Amber again, pouring himself some of the juice now.
Leonard's own brows lift at her postulation of potential reactions concerning his request of Zachary, and he can't help but smile broadly. "Considering? That is one possibility, of course." Whether the same thought occured to him or not, it's not a wholly unpleasant outcome. His thoughts then return to the other matter at hand with Zach's revelations and he considers. "What of a reverse, or something more specifically tailored? The concern is just to protect another from her own abilities, whether by direct immunity or aiding her to suppress them, herself."
Amber leans her head on Zach's shoulder, smiling as her eyes close briefly, "No, no its not." she says happily as she snuggles up against Zach, her small frame fitting easily under his arm. She remains silent for a while as she decides to listen, Zach's many looks and pleads seeming to have gotten through to her. She seems content where she is, letting the men discuss business while she cuddles.
"Specifically tailored how?" Zach's question after a light sip of the juice. Now his logical brain is active and the problem to be dissected becomes a focus, though Amber's desire to cuddle is answered, his arm slipping across her shoulder to welcome her close. "I don't know that the spell could be.. adjusted as a dampener on her. There is a spell to extinguish fire, but I don't have it. And I imagine that one too is of limited duration." He pauses, forming his next thoughts briefly before he continues. "The nature of Techno-Wizardry does allow some intermingling of spells and their attributes. One I had not thought of until tonight as I spoke with Ambrielle comes to mind. The spell to render one immune to fire works only at a personal level by itself. However, were I to mingle it with another spell.. Energy Field for example, I could take the effect of the fire immunity and extend it with Energy Field's range. I think I could make it an area of fire immunity rather than otherwise. Which would give aid, as it would prevent other things from burning, rather than just she and who she might come close to. But the duration remains an issue. Perhaps if I have another spell to mingle that is of lengthy duration, though the more one extends a spell chain, the more complex and expensive the device." He considers, then notes, "If it was an area effect, it would not have to be worn. It could be carried and kept near." The young elf suddenly thoughtful on this potential.
Leonard tilts his head at this latest clarification and mild epiphany (at least from his point of view). "Ah... I think that I follow, although I admit I know almost nothing of your craft. Your suggestion is much more practical and, it seems, more obtainable, as well. I didn't even consider the detriment of igniting the furniture or the like. Is there any way I could assist?"
Amber smiles as she stirs from her spot, seeming reluctant to move from her position, but does, standing with almost enough caution, her hands pulling down the edge of her long T-shirt to cover her, "I think i'm going to go take a nap, let you two talk about all your mystic hoodoo." she smirks and offers a wave, "Don't be such a stranger, Leo, and I'll see you in a bit, Zachary!" one last lingering glance and she's off to the bedroom, bending over for a quick second to pick up a pile of her clothes on the floor.
When Amber rises, Zach's arm slips from over her shoulders, dipping to lightly mingle fingers with her. He nods and replies to her, "We shall keep our voices low, that you might rest." Of course, the lingering look from her gets a soft pink rising once more on his cheeks. And as he lingers, the bend over is a teasing enough thing. He looks back to Leo then, clearing his throat just a bit. "Well, I don't think you can. But you might speak to her on this.. to see if she can manage with a device that would have such a limited span. The spell that renders one impervious to flame is cheap to cast, but if it needs to be renewed often, it could be a strain."
"I'll try not to be, Amber," Leonard turns a smile to her as she rises, "and I'll not keep him long." Her departure is followed and the bending noted. Maybe too much, but he does return his focus to Zachary with his grin now decidedly lopsided. "I'm surprised you're still thinking of me or my projects... As it is simple and inexpensive, would it be possible to store the energy needed to have it renew itself until expended, or am I just making this far more a complicated task than it need be?"
Zachary does consider Leo's extended look just a bit, but seems to dismiss it without deep concern. "She and I will have time, this is an important issue." He will shake his head then and note, "Storing magical energy is harder than it sounds. And it requires expensive gems. Emeralds are the cheaper alternative, but diamonds can also be used to store energy. It would raise the cost considerably. Perhaps.. upwards of at least five thousand credits worth of diamonds per activation. The more energy stored, the more difficult it is to make as well. The complexity involved is considerable. More than enough for a few activations would make the chance for failure notable."
Leonard concedes the ill-informed suggestion with a roll of his shoulders. "Storage sounds as if it would not be worth the trouble. I don't see that the protection would need last excessively long. More than a few minutes, but not necessarily hours. As I said, anything of use is better than nothing at all. Limitations on the assistance might even give her more incentive to improve her control, as well."
Zachary nods his head. "Yes, it would be advisable that she seek that path because.. well.. it could be easy to forget to renew it," he notes. Very vague, yet not too hard to let the mind wander along that realm of possibility. He glances down and motionst owards the sandwitches still left over. "Would you like one?" Chicken, chese and tomato on grian bread they are, slices into halves. "Perhaps we might speak on your.. troubles now. I did not know if you wished to do so while Ambrielle was here to listen."
"Indeed... and thank you." Leonard has little trouble imagining such a misfortune, but shifts to the other topic as he takes an offered sandwich. "I don't have any objections, and maybe she could offer insight in the future, herself. Well," ever his popular stalling prologue, "my troubles are of women, and very much in the plural. Before I met Vixen, I was ignored, at least in any favorable light, and I didn't do much to change that. Now, things are notably different. I'm uncertain how best to handle the situation, and my last adventurous attempt didn't fare so well."
"I see." Zachary's first thoughtful response. "I can imagine how you were before, it sounds much the same as what I'd known before. Though to be honest I didn't have much interest then in the fairer sex. Then.. well, I met Ambrielle." A soft smile comes and he pauses a moment before he wonders, "What about this situation troubles you? What.. adventure do you speak of?"
Leonard arches a brow at his question. "I'm mildly surprised you weren't aware, as it seems nearly everyone else is. Ema and I were involved, in a brief and casual manner. The fact that a woman's attention or interest is no longer a unique occurence is not the trouble," he can't help but chuckle at this, "but all the strife that follows it. I don't wish to have everyone spiteful of everyone else, but I don't plan to hide my eyes and pretend it doesn't exist, either. As I said, I've done far too much of that already."
Zachary furrows his brow and shakes his head. "I don't understand. To be honest, I don't really socialize a great deal. But I do know Emayn. What's wrong with.. the casual involvement?" The young elf seeming largely oblivious to the details of what's been going on as of late.
"Nothing, really," Leonard now smirks, albeit bemusedly, "until Vixen took it as an insult. Admittedly, having one ...lover meet the other leaving the bedroom wasn't the best, nor planned introduction. Then I had to offend one to please the other. That was trouble enough, and it was just the start, in many ways."
"Oh.." Zachary's brow furrows slightly at that. "Well.. I cannot say I have experience with that," he admits. "But I can say that if I knew Ambrielle was with another I would feel hurt. I don't know if it is the same for this Vixen or Emayn, I do not know what your.. relations with them are. But I feel very close with her and I thinks he feels the same way for me. She did seem.. troubled to find an earring here that Emayn lost when I was providing her one of my creations on loan."
Leonard exhales a sigh. "My relations with them are both simple, yet complicated, exceptionally open, but still limited in many regards." The unbitten sandwich half is replaced on the edge of the plate before he rises. "Maybe I'm simply postponing the inevitable by seeking advice." His smile is slight, but polite. "It would take a great deal of time to explain, and I'm not sure it's fair of me to drag you into my troubles.
"The inevitable?" Zachary considers and shakes his head. "I am willing to listen if you are willing to speak," he states. "To be honest, speaking would not draw me into it per se. But I will stand by your decision if you would rather not speak if it. Though your words suggest that perhaps you've made some manner of decision with regard to this."
"Some manner of decision, yes." Leonard simply nods. "Now it's just a matter of discoverying the best means to implement it. To do that, I should be speaking to someone else, but I do thank you for your open ears."
Zachary nods his head once and rises up to move ahead to the door slowly. "Very well then," he replies. "I will let you know when I have made some progress on that design. For now, I will merely wish you luck with what you must do." He pauses at the door, looking back to Leo to add, "I will not speak to Emayn on what we have discussed.. limited that it is. I would not wish to hamper what you intend to do."
Leonard offers a more earnest smile along with another nod as he follows to the door. "Thank you, for all of those. I'll look forward to hearing from you, and appreciate whatever you might accomplish. Just don't don't work too hard... or keep Amber waiting..." His head tips towards the other doorway before he steps for the one at hand.
The door is opened to be exited through and Zachary nods his head once. "I will certainly do so on all accounts," he responds. "Farewell, Leonard. Have a good evening." And once the man has stepped out, he will close the door and turn back to the spread of food. He did neglect to actually eat. A quick thing to rectify before he stores the leftovers and checks on the woman in the bedroom.
