Kingsdale - Plaza Park

Bridget tugs her very own Ash hand as she walks to the park. It's a nice thing to have, especially when the rest of him is still attached. "You know, it'd be fun to race you, if it weren't so crowded. Too many people to run into, or over. Guess this'll have to do for now." She's still grinning, so it can't be doing all that bad.

Ash chuckles, "Might have to do that sometime, though I don't know if I could really keep the pace as long as you, what with all your advantages." He smiles, squeezing her hand gently as she tugs him through to the park. "Though I guess without being all full on robotic I might have a chance." He sneaks a hand over to squeeze her hip and thigh lightly, well the hand that's not being held any, "All soft and delicious to me still, not cold hard steel and ceramics."

"I'll trade -maybe- losing to you for getting to kiss you without a can opener." Bridget gives his hand a squeeze. "Or getting a little more." Her grin dims some but she stops it with a shrug. "Guess it could be alot worse."

"Hey." Ash says suddenly and then tugs her back towards him so that he can wrap both his arms around her. "You're not going to make me prove how much of a beautiful woman you are right here and now are you?" He asks with a smile as he leans up the little bit so he can kiss her tenderly. "Thought you said you didn't want to get arrested, I'm pretty sure we'd get arrested for that." His hand not holding hers moves to caress her back and shoulders gently as he holds her to him.

Ash grins at Bridget as the pair move deeper into the park away from the entrance and the street. "Mmmhmm, far before it was worth it. Better just save that for later." He smiles amusedly, walking hand in hand with her as he heads over towards one of the open areas between the conifer trees. "Find it funny, how many people think I be some easy fight just because they don't know me." He chuckles.

Tirzah enters the park with a duffle on her shoulder and Lise tailing. A quick scan sows her Ash and Bridget up ahead and the adjusts to meep up with them in a clear section of the grass. "Sorry, ran into a friend on the way. Bridget and Ash, meet Lise." Tirzah introduces, waving Lise forward.

Lise follows beside Tirzah, a bag over her shoulder. As they approach the couple, she extends a hand in greeting to Bridget, adding, "Ash, I have met, yes." Giving Tirzah a raised eyebrow, she asks, "So who is it that you are planning to fight, then?"

"You get strange guys in the Dregs trying to grop you, too?" Bridget teases Ash, then turns towards Tirzah and her friend when arrive. "Hey. Hi, Lise." She lets go of Ash, and even wipes off the cooties before shaking her hand. Then she's looking to Tirzah, too. "Already picking out victims?"

Ash looks over towards Tirzah and Lise, smiling as he spots the second, "Hey Lise, long time no see. Thought you mighta returned to that German Republic place or something. Or worse. Glad to see you're doing well still." He looks over towards Tirzah for a moment and shrugs, "Not sure who she wants to fight." He admits then looks at Bridget, "Sometimes," He says with a grin, "Yer not the only one with a tight ass." His tone playful.

Tirzah eyes the conversation between Ash and Bridget with a smirk. "I have my own special deterent to that behavior." She notes as she puts down the duffel to pull out a set of coalition vambraces. "I'm not picky. Ash looks quick but is still probably lest formidable than a nearly untouchable elemental. Would be a nice change." Tirzah explains, looking forward to the match.

Lise gives Ash a smile and a shake of her head, saying, "No, I have not returned to Republic. There is still much that I may do here." Nodding at Tirzah, she says, "I shall be ready to patch up any of you who become hurt, but I do not intend to actually participate in any fighting, no."

Bridget quirks a brow at Lise. "Wow. That's pretty convenient." She then looks from Tirzah and her toys to Ash, and gives him a bright smile. "Tirzah can loosen yours up with a little kicking, and if she kicks it too hard," she thumbs to Lise, "her and I can glue it back on." She gives Ash a pat on the back. "You're right, this is cheering me up."

Ash chuckles and shakes his head, eyeing the vambraces for a few, "Are you wanting full contact Tirzah till someone gives up or first blood?" He starts peeling off his armor plating piece by piece after undoing the locking straps and moves to set the armor down to the side out of the way. He does leave the plates on that match the pieces of gear Tirzah is putting on though, one of the advantages of non-EBA armor at times. He shoots a grin at Bridget, "Good." He says as he starts to limber up and shake his joints out like he needed to loosen up.

Tirzah considers Ash a moment before nodding. "Full contact will do fine. You have any terms or restrictions?" Tirzah asks, her vambraces set comfortably the curvede blades extending to their 2 foot length.

Lise moves a few metres away from the trio, sitting down on the ground and removing her satchel. Opening it, she briefly catalogues the medical supplies that she has on hand, then sits back, watching Tirzah and Ash prepare themselves.

"Good luck." Bridget blows Ash a wry kiss and steps back out of stray swing range. "You, too." She only nods to Tirzah, and adds, "Try not to break him -too- much?" Maybe there will be enough of someone left for Bridget to practice with, even if she didn't bring any armor or other toys.

"Yeah, don't turn those things on if they're of the vibro-variety and don't cut off my nuts or someone would be upset, and not just me." Ash says with a grin but he apparently doesn't have any swords to match the vambraces. At least his forearm plates will allow him to parry them safely. "Need to get me a couple swords some day... if I can ever afford it... would love a couple of them chainswords I see about every now and again." He chuckles, "Or just some plain jane ones." He seems to be suitably ready though as he stops stretching and the like. "Whenever you're ready." He twists to the side, presenting a slimmer profile as he brings his hands up and curls them into loose fists.

Tirzah nods, not looking bothered by the terms. "Right, were not killing each other, I'll keep my heat down too." Tirzah confirms before looking to Bridget and Lise. "Either of you care to start us off?"

Lise gives Tirzah a nod, a little relieved that this blood sport is still on somewhat friendly terms. She stands and approaches the pair of them, placing a hand between them and saying, <Places, ready, fight!> before raising her arm and stepping a few paces back to a safe distance again.

As soon as Lise is moving out of the way Ash is already darting in and considering that Tirzah is using a pair of blades on vambraces it somewhat limits his options. He tries to gauge her reach with them before he darts in and snaps his left hand out in to quick jabs to try and back her up while keeping his fleshy bits safe from the sharp edges of those blades...

Bridget wouldn't want to bias anything by starting them, including her view. She's just going to stand by and watch, for now. Even if she knows Ash is quick, she doesn't know much about Tirzah. Well, other than she has her own little business going for the merc community, so she had to get the credits and rep from somewhere. Either way, this will be fun.

Tirzahs first parry is downright sloppy, letting Ash's jab make excellent contact. Her second is more on the line, diverting the second jab with a scowl. She then returns the favor with a strike of her own from the vambraces.

Lise steps back, well out of the way of the combatants, and retrieves her satchel, holding the strap in both hands as her gaze flickers between the pair, wincing a little as Tirzah gets hit.

As Tirzah comes in Ash prepares to block the strike with his forearm armor but then he stops when he see's her gear come all off-kilter. He chuckles and backs up, giving her enough space to get her stuff fixed up, "Get that straightened up yeah?" He remains loose and ready though, in case she tries something tricky or sneaky while he's being a gentleman. One thing's for certain though, the quick-flex is far stronger than he looks thanks to his alien physiology.

Bridget winces, too, and wonders if she should've mentioned that Ash wasn't -just- quick. That might be cheating, though, and she probably pokes at Ash and his noseless ego enough, anyway. "Ouch..."

Tirzah blushes and gives a nod to Ash in thanks for the consideration. The vambrace is refastened and double checked for security before she nods at Ash to let him resume and come at her again.

Once the gear is refastened in place Ash chuckles and nods, "Ready?" He asks to make sure before he comes in again, ducking to the side slightly and checking the angles before instead of snapping a hand out in another jab this time the quick-flex pivots on his left leg bringing the right around in a quick snap kick towards the woman followed with a quick overhand in a foreknuckle punch just to mix it up and vary the angles of attack, trying to catch the woman by surprise again.

Tirzah parries both blows narrowly but effectively. "You are fast indeed, perhaps equal to the elementals I spar with. Commendable." Tirzah complements before another swipe from the vambraces is made. She also gets noticeably warm to be near.

Bridget has to grin at Ash's chivalry, and Tirzah's compliments. "You two are only this polite in a friendly fight, right?" As funny as it would be to see them praising each other in a real fight, it would probably get someone hurt or dead, too.

The swipe of the vambrace apparently catches Ash by surprise as it slips past his guard and opens up a light cut on his shoulder but it doesn't seem to have done any real significant damage though the quick-flex chuckles, "Starting to get a little warm over there..." He notes, "Thought you were an elementalist and not a burster." He rolls his left shoulder a bit to see if the cut has limited his range of movement even as red begins to stain the white of his shirt in little spots near the cut. He then darts in, at speed and follows with a pair of kicks, a straight left followed by a spinning kick that takes him back out of easy striking range. "Real fight, I'd be shootin' the person brought a knife to a gunfight." He says with a grin.

Tirzah is searing to actual touch though she flags to yeild from the powerful blows anyway. "Ow.." She grimaces at a tender spot in her ribs. "You are tough, should get yourself a blade. thought the heat might make me more of a challenge, to little too late." Tirzah explains with a sigh before smriking at Bridget. "I do believe both os us hold some tricks reserved for a real fight."

Looking down at his nearly smoking clothes at his ankles Ash bends down to pat at his legs and ankles, "Well, normally I'd be wearing armored boots, so..." He chuckles then looks over at her, "Thought you were going to keep cool?" He asks but then he looks a bit more concerned. "Didn't break a rub or anything did I?" He asks, indeed concerned as he tries to stop his pants from smoking down at his feet, ignoring the red burn marks on the flesh of them or seeming to anyways... but then he is quite tough.

"Ash, hon, I think you're on fire..." Bridget knows he knows, but she wants to be helpful, anyhow. The bit of sarcasm and grin are just natural. She shakes her head at them both, though. "You two aren't going to pull too many tricks now, right? No one needs to cut diced, or broken, or cooked."

Tirzah smirks at Ash with a shake of her head. "I said i'd keep it down, not cool. A full you wouldnt have feet any more I assure you." Tirzah confides with a nod. "Maybe, I'll be ok, got a bed at home that heals injuries like this no problem. I'll be good as new in the morning. Thanks for the concern though." She offers before gently taking a seat beside Lise to accept a welcomes ice pack.

Ash chuckles, "Yes I know dear." He says to Bridget but eventually he manages to get his pant legs to stop smoking and he walks over, well, gingerly walks over towards Lise so she can hopefully do something about the burns on his feet. "Well, then it's a good thing we won't have to worry about killing each other hmmm?" He smiles at Tirzah wryly, "I'm no fool, I know in a real fight she'd whip off some mojo and I'd be as good as dead."

Bridget smirks as she steps in closer now that the swinging is done. "It's a good thing, cause I doubt you're as good dead." She nods deeply to Tirzah. "Thanks for not turning him into real ash. You sure you'll be Ok?"

Tirzah nods, already starting to feel better, if bruised. "I'll be fine, save my pride. Perhaps Ash would be more interested in trying against something truly worthy? Will only take a moment to summon a phantom." Tirzah offers to make up for her set deficiency.

"Nah." Ash says as he tries not to wince as burns are treated, "Only thing I got that can hurt an elemental is my pistol, and ammo's way to expensive. That and I couldn't afford repairs to my armor." He chuckles, "Figure elementals got to be as tough as power armor at least for Tolkeen to be holding the Skulls like they are." He then blows a kiss to Bridget, "I'm pretty sure I would be as good dead too." He chuckles at that. "Real fight like that, I'd need to be making enough to cover costs."

"Yeah..." Bridget doesn't sound any more excited about that than Ash. "That sounds like a bit much for a friendly fight." She nudges him. "Of course, I thought -I- was supposed to be the one beating somebody up. Now it looks like I'll have to play fixer."

Tirzah shurgs, accepting the pass. "I would have had it hold back as I did, only engage you with a lesser light blade. And let you the vambraces enchanted with frost. But no biggie. Think I should limp home to lay in that bed anyway. Thanks for the challenge Ash, maybe we'll go again some time." Tirzah bids before slowly returning to her feet to head home.

Ash smiles over at Bridget, "Well, you could have fought her if you wanted to." He chuckles, "Guess she wanted to prove she was tougher than me or something." He winks at her, "I got the feeling she'd much rather bed you than fight you. But then she's always coming on to Nemain too." He stands up and walks over to get his armor and weapons, starting to strap them on once his feet stop hurting and the burns are treated.

Bridget blinks and quirks a brow. "Really? Could've fooled me..." She glances after Tirzah and then back to Ash with a smirk. "She wasn't grinning, or staring at my tits. You sure that doesn't just work on you?"

"Positive." Ash says with a grin, "I am absolutely certain that every man and woman and thing in this city is jealous of me because I get to be with you." He walks back over towards her and moves to wrap his arms around her waist to hold her gently to him. "Ain't a soul in this city who wouldn't want to be in my shoes when we're together."

"Always the smooth talker..." Bridget's smirk gets bigger, then it gets pushed to his lips. "So, now that you're running around half-cocked -and- half-cooked, how about I save you some of the trip?" She nods her head towards the Happy Days tower.

"Mmm if you promise to go easy on me." Ash says playfully after he returns her kiss and then gives her another one before he turns to start walking with her towards the indicated tower, keeping one arm around her waist and staying close to her as they walk off to her place for the afternoon, night, and however long he can stay awake for.
