Leonard is drug along, whether literally or merely by Ema's presence, but does anything but complain. Obviously, little has changed on some levels since their first meeting here, despite all the awkward muck and mire between. She is fun, and it is contagious. Their entrance to the club is stalled, however, by something he is not much accustomed to: the door check. He typically breezes through, while she carries a small arsenal. It does mean that he is on a first name basis with most of those manning it, since he must still go through the motions and socializes during the course. With this fact, minimizing the wait, and general gentlemanliness in mind, he aids the bouncers in their task by slipping a hand to unsheath the knife on Ema's thigh. It is then handed over with the rest.
Ema is pretty friendly with the bouncer at the alibi, her usual dearming had become something of a ritual for the two. That being as it may, she shows absolutely no issue as Leo's hands sneak under her skirt, her soft skin getting good bumps as his hand grazes skin in its mission to make her Alibi safe. She leans on him, arm snaking out to grab onto his as she smirks up at him, "So very gentlemanly today." she says, eyes almost completely black in the dim lights, shining as they hang on Leo's. Disarming done, she takes him by the hand and leads him to the bar, making room with a combination of elbows and smiles, "Whaddaya havin?" she nearly shouts over the crowd, pulling him into position next to her at the bar.
"I try?" Leonard is certainly trying something new, then is led physically to the bar where he looses a laugh at her question. Leaning to her ear so that he need not shout, he answers, "Not sure, yet. What are my options?" In interests of saving space, his arm draps casually about her.
Emayn reacts to the touch, sliding in a bit closer, consideration for her fellow bar patrons surely the most important thing on her mind as she looks at with that familiar smirk, "Something Dirty, I think, though I haven't decided what, Sex on the beach is a bit tame for right now I think," she bites her lower lip as she comes to a descion, flagging a bartender down with a wave of her hand, "Two Between the sheets, please" she says, tossing a wink towards Leo, "And a Vodka cran, and a glass of Wine," she orders a favourite of yours, before turning back to smile up at you, "Now what!" she asks eyes on you sways ever so slightly.
Leonard smirks at her comment and the drink orders, one brow lifting. "You have good tastes. For the wine, at least. I have no idea what the rest of that was." His shoulders roll slightly at the next question. "That depends on how much you need to drink to dance. Or how much you can drink and still dance. Pick one?"
"Oh I can no doubt dance as I am, but I figure a quick Shot, and a quick drink might help just a bit with how crowded and hot it might be out there, I'd hate for you to be uncomfortable." she grins, drinks arriving as she slides her credit chip towards the bartender, telling him to keep it open. She pushes the wine and one shot your way, picking up her own shot glass and raising it up towards you, "To Edgar?" she asks playfully, "And successful team building exercises!" her bells chime as she smiles up at you, waiting.
The shot is taken and lifted in kind. "To Edgar, and team building!" Leonard announces with a grin before he clinks his glass into hers. Eyes drop to regard his shot for a moment before he tips it back and downs it with little effort. It is, per unwritten law, returned to the bartop with audible force. Brun arrives from Dregtown North. Brun has arrived.
Ema mimics your movements as she slams her glass down, the brandy, rum and triple sec mix a potent combination even for her. Her new glass is taken in her free hand, she offers it up for a quick clink before taking a sip from the small black straw. She smiles as her eyes close for a second, opeing as her glass returns to the bar just moments before she is jostled forward from someone behind her, and she finds her self not unplesantly up against you for a moment, "I hope you like the wine, it seems like a good choice, from what I've read." she grins, taking advantage of the closeness to not have to yell, not immediately falling back to her original position.
One more busy Friday night for the Alibi. The music is blaring, and people are involved in various combinations of dancing, drinking, yelling, trolling and inebriating. Leonard and Emayn are in the crunch at the bar itself, quite literally pressed together by a shift in the bodies. Which activities they're performing are debatable, save that they're not dancing at the moment. He reaches around her to retrieve his wineglass, take a quick sip, and nod. "It's perfect... but I think it's time to dance or I might change my mind." Leonard doesn't exactly move away from her as he pushes from the bar, since he attempts to pull her with him, if just by friction alone.
Making quick work of her drink, Ema slides the empty glass down the bar a bit as she follows Leo, an arm snaking around his back to steady herself as they push through the crowd, "Can't have you doing that..." she says helpfully, her fingers coming up to tilt the glass up towards his face, "Can't have you wasting that, now can we, and I'd hate for you spill on me." she nudges a bit more, both you and the glass she grins, that almost feral look in black eyes as she watches you, her ever present mischievous grin spread across her lips.
Well, the fact that any real potent weapons are checked at the door makes Brun a bit more comfortable about coming here in the first place. She's shucked her armor and is less nervous with everyone carrying just the small stuff. Her M-10 Handgun doesn't really present much of a problem after all. So she steps inside and folds her arms over her upper abs, just under the bustline and lets her blue eyes drift slowly about the room, as if trying to figure out why she came here in the first place... simply on the recommendation of one singular local.
Leonard takes a long, semi-forced sip before chuckling across the few inches to his companion. "Don't worry, I won't spill them." His free hand lifts and waves almost absently, fingers moving. Both the wineglass and her own drink (should she release her grip) lift of their own accord and begin a backward drift towards the bar as their former owners continue to shuffle and nudge towards the dancefloor. "With the drinks tended, what will you do with your hands free?" After the challenge, both bear grins of the impish sort.
"Neat trick their!" she explains, tongue coming out to lightly lick her bottom lip, eyes still wide as her hips begin to sway a bit, hands sliding around Leo's hips to his back as holds herself against him, rocking to the beat of the music as she pushes him back, her strength not insignificant, "Could have come in handy not too long ago, plenty of applications for it!" she continues to tease, body moving against Leo's as she gets him onto the dance flood, where her arms wrap around Leo's neck as she almost grinds, "Something oddly familiar about tihs..." she almost whispers.
Though she's not the dancing and partying sort, Brun heads for the bar and manages to somehow avoid being crushed on the way. People dancing, drinking, dancing some more and stumbling about. she's either lucky, or good at navigating crowded areas... but either way, her thick and heavy accent is audible at the bar before long, "Hast sie..." she shakes her head, "Do you have any dark beers?" she asks.
"I'm sure that I can still find a few uses..." is the start of Leonard's reply as the glasses finally reach and settle upon the bartop. Ema's combination of push and pull easily move him to the floor proper, and the rocking gives him even better cue than the beat of the music. He simply sways with her tempo, placing his hands upon her guiding hips. "It is familiar, but I don't recall any dancing the last time."
"Maybe not..." Ema grins, moving closer, her forehead leaning forward to attempt to rest against Leo's, his head guided by arms that have snaked around his neck as she grinds. Her eyes flicker briefly around bar, ever vigilent, and catches someone towards the bar, a potential predator, or at least trained woman. She allows herself only a few quick glances, her smiles never fading as her fingers move up Leo's neck.
Predator? Brun is more of the anti-predator. She's trained as a soldier who fights against those natural predator types. So her eyes are on exits and threat potentials while her body remains loose, yet ready to coil into action at a moment's notice. A beer is placed before her and she raises both blonde brows, "Entschuldigung.. I asked for a -dark- beer... Vas ist this?" she asks of the now confused bartender.
As if the pair could get much physically closer... and Ema finds a way. It does make the dancing easier for Leonard, as he would look infinitely more inept were he bouncing around as if he were suffering a seizure while on fire. One more reason not to complain at being joined at forehead, nose, and hip. His eyes follow Ema's glances to the side and he also notes the blonde at the bar. As eyes rotate back ahead, he wonders of his partner, "Bored of me already, or am I simply too much trouble?"
You sense Leonard helps you make a more informed opinion on his question as you feel a distinct squeeze on your rump, despite his hands remaining on your hips.
Ema grins, eyes almost closing as she dances, taking the smallest step back before responding in kind, her own Psi giving him a gentle squeeze behind him, pulling him once more against her, "Not bored..." she almost whispers, her face moving besides Leo's, cheek to cheek, breath on his ear as eyes give the girl a sidelong glance, "I just like to know who in a room I have to worry about" she grins, blowing deliberately as she moves back to face the young man, "Better safe than sorry, and prudence and all that."
Well, one thing about Brun.. she's got good ears. Able to filter out the sounds of the music and listen in on whispers dozens of feet away. Implants are cheating though! She shakes her head for one reason or another and just pays for the beer as it is and takes a drink of it with a mild grimace before turning to observe the room. She looks as if she has no intention of dancing, let alone smalltalk.
And so Leonard's cookie begins to crumble. First, Ema's shift to blown whisper provokes a shiver of the sort considered not completely unpleasant. Then her mention of prudence and others starts him down the path of thinking of the same, yet perhaps in a different context. "I don't think you need worry of many, but maybe I should..." Head and nose retreat an inch or two. His mirth remains, still, but his lips are curled more in pleasant smile than mischievious grin. Now his swaying slows and falters as the hip contact fails next.
Disappointment washes over Ema's face for barely a fraction of a second, allowing Leo to pull away without putting up a fight as her hands drag nails ever so lightly over his shoulders and neck before freeing themselves. She turns, arms overhead as she continues to move, skirts flashing as her back turns to the young man, her eyes close a minute as she dances, an almost serene look overcoming her face as she moves, belled earrings suddenly brought to life.
Well, one beer disappears before long. Brun isn't really a -light- drinker. She's a soldier and as such, she drinks like one. When that beer is finished, she shakes her head to the bartender to decline a refill. So, she's watching the gathered people like a hawk now, eyes meeting gazes turned her way.. not so much challenging as much as just acknowledging.
Leonard does not retreat far, but the handful of inches do move him to a more casual, safe(?) distance. His hands slide from Ema as she turns and his former movements that could have been considered dancing have halted. Now he concedes to merely watching her. A compromise of sorts.
Ema can't help but notice the woman's reaction to the room around her, it seems a slightly less subtle version of how she approaches a similar situation. She makes a mental note as she continues her dance, eyes moving forward and into the crowd as she back into Leo ust ever so slightly, skirts flapping in a way that leaves little underneath to the imagination. She turns around once more, grinning, then smirking, "A little bit of a Voyeur after all? Like to watch?" her head tilts to the side, and her attempt at looking innocent only succeeds in making her look anything but.
Leonard nods. Initially, that is his sole response to flapping skirts, purposely accidental bumps, and attempts at innocence. "Yes..." is then managed, to be followed belatedly with a bit more smile. "Maybe a little too much. I'm sorry, but I should probably head home before it gets too... late."
Ema's disappointment lingers a bit longer this time, her once bright eyes seeming to pout as she looks at you, "I was good, we were just dancing..." she says, confusion in her voice, "I let you go when you wanted, I was totally behaving!" she may even believe it as she looks over Leo, "Whats going on in your head?" her dancing stops as she takes Leo by the arm and walks him towards the bar, and not quite coincidently, closer to the unfamiliar face, "Have I upset you again?"
Only now does Leonard frown, and his head shakes adamantly in the negative as they step from the floor. "No, Ema, you didn't. Not at all." The last thing he wishes is to upset her over any presumed upset of his own. As further proof, he leans in to plant a friendly but chaste kiss upon her cheek. "I'm sorry... you're not the one I'm worried about behaving." His arm then slips from her hand, almost too slowly, and he turns from her in favor of the exit.
Emayn stands their frowning for a second as Leo walks out on her, her head shaking as she heads for the bar, and orders herself a large drink before closing out her tab. She drinks quickly, her expression stoic as she heads out of the bar, ignoring any attention that may fall her way, heading to the coat checked where she arms, and leaves.
