Kingsdale - Kingsdale City Museum (Library)

It's 2000 hours on a Saturday night, do you know where your magi are? In the library, of course, as Leonard proves. It isn't quite the midnight oil, but he burns it in that vein. The pocketcomp upon the table before him is the source of his focus as he moves copious notes from his thoughts and into digital storage.

"We have something to discuss, Leonard," Norwick notes as he moves alongside the man's table. He turns and, without hesitation, settles himself into the chair opposite. "I trust you have had time to find and inform your pack on just what is to come. And perhaps form plans, yes?"

Leonard simply nods, initially, fingers completing their last task before his head lifts to address the man. "I have, and they've been made, yes. All are as prepared as can be expected. I hope that nothing has changed significantly?"

"How many will you have in your party?" Norwick asks as he draws a small device from his robes. Compact enough to fit snuggly in his hand. "And who will they be? Simple names are all that are required. One must keep a record of the comings and goings, yes?"

"As all wish to be compensated, yes." Leonard nods. "You have already met a fair share, I believe. Emayn, who wished that I inform you is always interested in future work; Bek and Cel, both of whom you directed to me. The remainder would be Tirzah, Vargus, Flare and myself."

"Now, this is far too many for one pack," Norwick notes, looking up to Leo. "You and three others would be enough with a proper plan. More than that is simply overkill for this maneuver." He lifts a hand and notes, "However.. those who are so interested, perhaps I could find a proper target for them in their own pack. Though some decision must be made in who goes where. So too, I have another who would lead a pack, a canine of Coalition make. Odd, but perhaps capable. The others may seek him or cluster to themselves. It matters not to me, only that each pack contain four."

Leonard arches a brow. "You /did/ want be to seek others interested... Although I can understand why you would want to keep these packs small." He pauses to consider the current complement. "Vargus and I have similar talents, so we would be most efficient working seperately, I'd think. Tirzah is bold, aggressive and experienced, so might make for an excellent leader. With Cel, that would nearly make another pack already. That would leave myself, Bek, Emayn and Flare for this endeavor."

"I did so, that is true," Norwick replies. "But one should only pay as much as is needed for a given action. Otherwise, it is a waste. The canine is named Sindri. He lives at a cabin in the woods currently. You might suggest that those not of your pack seek him out. Balance amongst themselves a second pack. If there are others, I will come to them later, once you have told me of any left wanting. Perhaps they can find others to form a third. Or not."

"I will inform them," Leonard nods, exhaling a soft sigh, "although I'll suggest that they find their own fourth. Are you sure that involving a Coalition mutant is wise? That seems a very dangerous variable." He has his own personal bias, apparently.

"It is their decision to make," Norwick replies. "I handle matters of security for these actions to a point. Then it becomes the task of those who will be on the ground." He smiles slightly. "You take the risks, you earn the credits. I do not take the risks, I pay the credits. It is a fair trade. I shall not tell him of those who are seeking and leave it to him and them to join or not."

Leonard absently powers off the loitering electronics. "I'll leave that choice to them, as well. So long as the hound isn't at my heels, maybe they will find him useful." A hand then rises to rub at his forehead. "Despite this unexpected split, we are prepared to leave at the next window of opportunity. We'll need to make a few adjustments, but our original plan should remain sound."

"Have you need of any supplies? Fusion blocks, mines or the like?" Norwick asks casually. "Or shall you be well enough with the resources that you have at your fingertips? This will be the last chance to make a request. The next time I contact you all, it will be time to strike."

Leonard chuckles. "I believe we are stocked well enough. Explosives could be a dangerous risk, as we intend to take everything intact. How shall I contact you once we are finished, so that you can arrange our return?"

"That question shall be answered. The logistics are mine to shape." Norwick stands slowly then, but pauses before he might depart. "One thing. Those who might go to the canine? Tell them to be wary. He seems quite.. distrustful of those who wield magic. A proper protective spell would be advisable on first encounter."

Leonard smirks, and not pleasantly so. "That is hardly a surprise. As I said, I think that that is an unacceptable risk... and I will certainly mention it."

Norwick considers Leo for a few moments before he lifts a hand idly and notes, "Consider your own biases. Then consider his own. Two sides of the same coin.. interesting, is it not?" He grins and then dip his head once. "Farewell for now, Leonard." And with that he rounds the table to be on his way.

Leonard appears less than convinced as he watches the man depart. The mere fact that some may be the enemy of his enemy does not make them a friend.
