Rasputin is up late this evening. He sings to himself as he does the prep work for the coming day's breakfast, lunch, and customers in general. The door, as always is unlocked, as if he expects people at any time, day or night. The deli has a wonderful roasted beef smell to it, wafting out from the kitchen.

Cassius walks up from the street up into the deli, the youth will smile somewhat as he sees you're here, "Hello there!" he says finally and moves to enter into the deli, "Well I received your missives, I've got a list of spells written out for you"

Rasputin looks up, large ladle in hand, and smiles, "Da, da. Dobryj vecer!" He chuckles a bit, "Missives? Oh, da, da. My letter, gooding. Would you being liking some broth, or slice of something whiling we be chatting?"

Cassius smiles to himself, "Oh really? Well...ah...some thin sliced Pastrami is actually pretty good if I could have some." he says. He pulls out a large book, a good parchment book that's appropraite from the contents of spells.

Rasputin nods slowly. He sets down the ladle, and then moves over to the counter, and begins to quickly make up a pastrami sandwich, "Da, would you be liking some mustard? Or grilling onions?" He smiles a bit, "Da? So whating spells, doing you have for trading? I haven't being writing yet, but sooning." It is late late this evening, and of course Rasputin is up late working on the items for the morning's Breafkast and lunch. Cassius has just entered and hasn't taken a seat yet.

Cassius ooos, "Mustard of course...yes, I like it cold, but thin pastarmi, on rye, with mustard..." he licks his lips, "mmmm, thanks!" he says as he opens up the book, and he makes sure to index it, "I think this is all the knowledge...took a while, but I made sure it was neat enough to read"

The door opens to admit one more person as Sage enters the Deli, but she doesn't seem to be in a hurry to sluff off her coat for the time being. As if unsure whether she'll remain, her gaze shifts towards where Rasputin would normally stand. Noticing he seems to be busy with a customer, she simply takes the coat partially off to let some of the trapped heat escape its confines.

Rasputin nods, "Da, da." He continues making the sandwich cutting the pastrami very thin, and using a fresh made mustard. He looks, "Izvinite, are wanting dark rye or white or being marble?" He asks while waving a long thin carving knife. His eyes look over to Sage as she enters, "Dobryj vecer! Howing are you doing this evening, good da?" He smiles, "Do you be needing something warming?"

Cassius thinks to himself and he mmms, mouth starting to water. This is good stuff after all! "Do you smoke it yourself?" he asks about the pastarmi, but quickly has to decide, "marble..." he takes out a pen. It's a quill pen actually and an inkwell, and begins to make a few final notations into the spell book. Some things are better left tdone by hand, blowing and blotting on the ink. He turns and sees Sage, another person out late night, "Ah hello" he says as well."

Sage frowns faintly in confusion at the first words directed at her by Rasputin, but smiles soon enough. "I'm doing well enough." She says, stepping into the deli a little more. The coat still loosely clinging to her as if reluctant to let her go. "And yourself?" She asks, looking to Cassius as he speaks. "Hey... gotten a chance to go on those two dates you offered at the auction yet?" She asks curiously, waiting for a reply. She's momentarily distracted from responding to the other question posed by Rasputin.

Rasputin smiles as he finishes the sandwich with the marble rye bread. He plates it up, expertly with a pickle and some crisps. Then makes his way over to Cassius has sat down with his work, "Would you being liking some coffee? Or hot chocolate, perhapsing?" He smiles to Cassius, then makes his way over to Sage, "Izvinite, let me be taking that jackets, da? Tis cold, would you be liking some hot chocolate, da? Please be sitting, I be getting." He smiles and tugs his beard only so slight.

Cassius smiles as he blows lightly on the ink and makes sure it is dry, the letters in flowing, though a bit heavy, dragonese script. Once he is sure it is dry he closes the book, and lifts the clasp, locking the book up. Setting it aside from his eating. "Mmmm, yes, atually I think it's some of my better work. hopefully you find no problem in using it. He eagerly takes the sandwhich and lifts it up, nostrils flare as he smells the fine musty smell of the cured meat and the tang of the mustard. He bites down hard and chews. "mmmm..."

When Cassius seems to be absorbed with writing something in his book, Sage looks between the two men. "I almost feel like I'm interrupting something here." She hms softly, glancing back to Cassius. "I suppose I'll assume that's a not yet." She comments, before briefly resisting Rasputin's offer. Her attention returns to the man, "Well, I just thought I'd drop by to let you know what Isabeau and I have found out so far... but I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a hot chocolate." She'll let the man take her coat then if he's still inclined to do so.

Rasputin chuckles, "Da, da. Pleasing, " pauses a moment to take your coat, "This way. Having seat with Cassius." He smiles and then walks over grabs three mugs and a pot of some steaming hot liquid. Then quickly pours three mugs of coco, "Of coursing whipping cream, da?" He asks rhetorically as he plops a large dallup of whip cream into each one. "Oh, da." He smiles as he brings the mugs over to the table, "I forgetting, yessing to your question. I roast myself, here." And as normal for him, he swivels his head, "And Nyet, you nyet interrupt. Tis late, all welcome, da?" He sets the mugs down and takes a seat himself at the end of the table. "Nowing, you thinking about food, da?" he says still looking at Sage, and then turns back to Cassius, "And you be letting me reading, a small amount, da?" He then takes a sip of the coco, "Daa." he says with a sigh.

Cassius looks over at Sage, "Ah sorry, ya got distracted, no I acutally havn't sorry." he rubs teh back of his head, "I dunno about Hex, well she wants to dance so I guess I could teach her, doens't seem too keen on me" he says as he eats another bite of his sandwhich and mms, "How about you?" he asks sage and points to the bound spell book, "Go ahead..." he says

Having no good reason to do otherwise, Sage follows the prompting to go sit down with Cassius. She notices Rasputin seems to have his hot chocolate routine down, and just chuckles softly when he doesn't even wait for them to reply. She seems to accept that she isn't interrupting anything, but she does note the exchange that seems to be in progress. Once on the mug, she'll murmur a "Thanks." to Rasputin. When Cassius response, she glances to him. "Its alright." She says softly, "Well, I haven't really met Hex... to be honest." A slight shrug of the shoulders comes, before she frowns faintly as the question is bounced back to her and she gives a sigh. "Its... well, I heard back from my shy bidder." She glances between the two men. "There's not really going to be a date... its more a donation for the hospital and ... one of the Elders that came with me here wants to talk to me..." She shakes her head gently to shake the thoughts off, before she looks back to Rasputin. She studies the man, "Well... I wasn't thinking of having any food... but, now that you mention it. I should probably make sure you actually named a meal after me like you said when we met in the garden."

Rasputin nods as he looks over the book, "Da, this be looking good." He smiles, "Evening these, looking good." He sips his coco and tugs on his beard, then he ponders a moment, "Da, do you be trading all of these, da?" He looks at the spells a bit longer. He pauses a moment and then reads something else. After which he looks to Sage, "Welling, whating do you be liking? Must be your favorite to being naming it after you, da?" Rasputin tugs his beard again and smiles.

Cassius nods and eats another bit of his sandwhich, "Damn this is good" he says and then he turns back to look over towards Sage, "I'd take him up on some food, this stuff is good." he says and licks his lips, and then he'll grab his pickle and take another crisp bite. "So your bidder doesn't want a date? More's the pity...you're a niec girl!" he says...and then he blushes, "I don't know what Vyvian will want" he says with a huff and he turns back to Ras, "Yup all that...here I got a list." he offers it over to him

Sage gives Rasputin a good-natured but dirty look as he's either play coy or deciding to make Sage work for her dinner. "Are you asking me to remember whatever you said you'd call it or do I need to describe it again?" She asks, raising a brow and giving a soft chuckle. "I don't think you made it." She murmurs quietly, accusing - but in a playful way. She looks over to Cassius. She smiles faintly, "Oh, I know he's good... but I'm trying to decide if he's playing with me or not." She purses her lips as the next question. "Yeah... I even tried to arrange a bit." She comments with a note of embarrassment. She smiles once more, "Ah, Vyvian's quite a tease or flirt, depending on how you look at it." She says, not trying to cast any negative light on the woman. "I imagine you'll have some fun... but I don't know what she'll want either."

Rasputin shakes his head and smiles, "Nyet, nyet. Izvinite, I do not mean to joking. I remember us be talking about dat." He shrugs, "But noting what we talked about, specific. Can you be reminding me?" He chuckles, "Musting be my mind, wanders, da." Rasputin sips his coco, and looks over the book a bit longer, then looks at the list carefully which Cassius handed to him.

Cassius nods and mmms, licking his lips and taking another bite of hi sandwhich. "Ya I am really not sure what her date will be like...I mean Hex will be dancing, tryin to teach her how to dance...she's...big." he says, "Not sure how the teaching will go, but...it'll be interesting, Vyvian? whof, I don't know AT ALL" he says and motions to Rasputin. "It's all in Dragonese, good spells and fair value"

Sage gives Rasputin a dirty look, but its seems still in good nature as there's a slight smile on her lips. She sits with Cassius and Rasputin at one of the time. "I knew it." She says, mock-accusing once more. She takes a moment to sip on her hot chocolate, getting a little of the cream on top on her upper lip. A flick of her tongue wipes that off without a thought. She isn't looking at either man, so its likely that she isn't trying to be flirty with the motion. She glances to Cassius and chuckles softly, "Well, you'll have interesting dates then. You can't really ask for anything more than that." She gives the young man a grin, before she looks back to Rasputin. "Now then, I'm not sure if I should tell you..." Amusement creeping into her eyes, before she hmms softly as she thinks. "You might not even have the main ingredient as I recall." She raises a brow faintly, "Venison?" She asks softly.

Rasputin chuckles, "Da, da. Venison, is something I always am having in stock." Rasputin sits at the table his hand on his beard tugging as he thinks. The hour is very late, but he still seems almost awake. His left hand is looking over a large book. He then looks at Sage, "Nyet, nyet. Was it stew? A good thick Venison stew? One you be making?" He looks hopeful as he smiles and tugs his beard. Then his eye catches the list again and lifts a large eyebrow and grins a bit more.

Cassius is sitting with Rasputin and sage. He's finishing up a pastrami sandwhich. Off to the sound is a leather bound book, locked with a clasp, and obviously not a typical book. But it's pushed towards Rasputin, "Yup, so that's my knowledge in there. Do you have a book likewise?" he asks Rasputin. he blushes lightly at Sage, "Yes I will have interesting dates." he says, but he apparently isn't focused on Sage! No, surprsingly enough somthing else has his focus, that is, a book with some knowledge he is certinally after. Almost hungry for...

"Well, I guess that's a point in your favour." Sage muses, before returning to her hot chocolate for a moment. She hmms softly, before raising a brow at Rasputin, "That I'd be making?" She questions, "Might as well make the recipe and name it myself then." She quips, before glancing over to Cassius. "Well, good luck with them. Just remember that you get to set the rules."

The door opens, hesitantly, slowly, and Caliopa sticks her head in through the gap. "You open?" She questions Rasputin, inserting the rest of herself through the gap and closing the door behind her. "Wondered where you were, Sage. Got a real cravin' for somethin' to eat 'n' didn't want to mess with your stuff." The winter coat, when undone, covers the t-shirt and combat pants she wears. "Got coffee 'n' a roll or somethin'?" She gives the group at the table a thoughtful look, hesitant in joining.

Rasputin hops up quickly with a chuckle, "Da, da. Do be coming in," Rasputin walks over and says, "Let me be taking your coat, da? And nyet coffee, hot coco, da? Too late for coffee, you be never sleeping." He smiles and looks to the table then to Caliopa, "And how abouts, a Pastrami sandwich, on marble rye. With a pickle, of course and crisps?" He smiles as he hangs up your coat and walks back behind the counter. He looks to Cassius and says something in a sing song language, not Russian of course, it is something very musical in nature. Rasputin says, "If you speak Dragonese, you hear me say to Cassius, "I do not have things written so nicely, but I will be having them written down for you in the day. Will that be OK?""

Cassius gives a nod of his head, smiling and he finishes up his brief lunch, lickin his lips, "hrm..." he thinks about what to say, turning to Sage and nods, "ya, the rules..." he trns all the way back and looks over to Caliopa, "Hey Cali...greetings!" he says with a light wave. he turns, he responds in the same langage, Dragonese, the language of the elves, "It is all right, that will be fine...ah..." he fondles the heavy bound book and he seems hesitant to give it up without getting somthing in return, but he nods his head, "All right I'll leave this here...and will wait for your own tome." he says and offers it and the key, to Rasputin.

With the teasing conversation about the would-be-named-after-Sage-dish on pause, Sage looks to Cali and gives the woman a warm smile. "Well, not exactly... I was just a bit restless and thought I'd see if Rasputin was still here to give him an update on where a potential business deal stood." She says, glancing to Rasputin, "Only, he distracted me by forgetting to name a dish after me like he promised." She teases before looking back to Cali. "If you have something I will." She offers, "Otherwise, there's some leftovers back at the flat..." Sage will ignore the strange tongue used in the conversation between the two men for the time being.

Caliopa gives up her coat, giving Rasputin a bright, sunny smile before settling herself at the table with the others. She is oblivious to the return of the oil and grease marks on her hands and cheeks, the stubborn marks still there after a wash. "Chocolate sounds alright. Ain't plannin' on sleepin' soon though. Sandwich'd be real welcome, reckon my stomach thinks my throat got cut." Sage's words distract her and she glances up at her with a wide smile. "Can't tell what is meant to be cookin' for later, 'n' what you got left over...namin' a dish?"

Rasputin nods and smiles a bit, "Da, da. Tis good." He says Cassius and then ponders a moment. He turns and washes his hands carefully, "Dobryj, then I be making two more," He looks to Cassius, "Unlessing you are still hungry, da?" He chuckles and begins to slice up some more pastrami and prepping a few sandwiches. He pauses to quickly pour a mug of coco and refills everyone else's. He eyes Sage again and ponders, "Naming yes, but not stew." He shrugs, "Nyet." He goes back to the counter and just chuckles.

Cassius wets his lips a tiny bit and glances to the others. He stands and smiles, bowing his head, "I think I should be going and getting some sleep. There you are Rasputin and will wait for your...your book./ Thank you Rasputin, and good day to you, both of you, good morning and good luck Caliopa, Sage..."

Sage chuckles softly to Cali, "I'll work on a better system of sorting when I get the chance." She replies, before pursing her lips. She pulls a folded up piece of paper and gestures it towards Cali, "Did you read the letter?" She asks, before looking over to Rasputin. She gives an apologetic smile, "I suppose I should stop teasing..." She says, "For now, if you have something in a sandwich or wrap that's fairly quick and simple... I'll trust your judgement." She glances to Cassius, "Take care, Cassius." She says simply.

"It ain't my food so you ain't gotta do that." Caliopa wrinkles her nose at Sage, leaning her elbows on the table, resting her chin in her hands. "I was gonna ask you over your dates, see how they went, but I guess... I'll see you later, Cassius." Her face is relaxed, her smile cheerful and bright. "Jus' gettin' some work caught up with, got a few folks that wouldn't let the lads do their pieces for them." She tucks a stray strand of hair behind her ear, leaving a smudge of oil on her cheek.

Rasputin quickly makes up four pastrami sandwiches. He wraps up one to go, and then comes out quickly. He puts one in Cassius hands, "To be going, for lunch tomorrow. Da?" He smiles and looks over towards the other two and sets down the serving plate, "Here we going. Foods are good." He smiles, and clears off the large book and puts the key into his pocket. He places the puts the book behind the counter, for the moment perhaps, "What is this dating, you be speaking at?"

Cassius looks down over at cali and he shakes his head, "No no I havn't had my dates yet, I dunno, I tried to do it with Hex...but, ah, she was kidna distracted that night, looks like she was about ready to get in a fight...was afraid what would happen to me if I tried to have a date with her when he hackles are raised."

When Cali doesn't respond to her question about the letter, Sage seems to take that as a no. She slides the piece of paper towards Cali. "Go ahead and read it." She glances to Cassius, "Probably a good idea... not that I know Hex myself." She finally turns her attention to Rasputin to take one of the sandwiches offered. "Thanks." She says softly, "And, we've been talking about that auction over at the Alibi. If you saw the fliers at all."

Caliopa takes her plate, giving Rasputin a grateful look. "Had mine. Hex is lovely, ain't gonna pick a fight with her though. She got this look, makes folks twice her size sit down 'n' be quiet." She tucks into the sandwich, looking down at the paper Sage passes over. "Oh that the letter you got the other night? Ain't read it..." She mumbles around the sandwich, turning her attention to it now. The talk of the auction doesn't go over her head though and her cheeks colour a little pink.

Rasputin tugs his beard a moment, "Da, auction." He shrugs a bit and then picks up the sandwich and takes a bite of his own creation. He smiles and then continues to eat his sandwich. He sips his coco and stays quiet for the moment.

Cassius nods "is she nice." he looks over at Sage and gives a nod, "y a I don't know her either, she's just big, and she's...um, obviously a passionate woman, I mean, She got teased and looked ready to fight by the other Kat...not Desmond, some other guy" he says and rubs his face. "I hope I don't dissapoint her, she might smack me pretty hard." he says and looks lsightly nervous now.

Sage listens to the words spoken about Hex, but has no frame of reference to speak from. Her attention shifts to Cassius, "Well, even if she wanted to, you could always make that a rule to ensure she doesn't. 'No smacking me around' sounds like a good rule to me." The last sentence spoken with amusement. Her attention turns to Cali as she turns her attention to the letter. She decides not to speak, but rather takes up the sandwich to start munch on it. It gives her something to focus on.

Caliopa reads the letter, frowning thoughtfully before she looks up at Sage. "That don't make much sense. Someone comin' to tea?" She shakes her head, pushing the letter back to Sage. "She walked me home the other night, made sure I got home alright after I had a drink or so." She looks up at Cassius, giving him a bright smile. "She is real lovely. It was Kesslan, weren't it? He bought her date, I heard." The sandwich is becoming smaller rapidly.

Rasputin just continues to eat his sandwich demonstrating his very good table manners. He stays quiet for the moment, not really having anything to input at this moment. He just keeps eating quietly.

Cassius coughs, "Yes there are rules but I dunno if she'll listen, ya know, she's got that...rough edge to her, I dunno, I guess I just gotta see what she has to say" he sighs, "And I won't hit a lady, no way no how." he says with a determined nod of his head. "ah yes Kesslan, he was the other fella...wait no was he? No no it wasn't him I don't think...or mabey it was." he winces, ya he drank too much that night, "Ya actually it was you're right it was Kesslan"

Sage takes a moment to finish with the bite of sandwich in her mouth before she compresses her lips briefly. "You'll probably understand it more if you're there when it happens... but, rather than go into too many details... think of it like you telling a guy that 'we need to talk'... most of the time it isn't a good thing." She glances to Cassius, giving a nod. There doesn't seem to be much else she really needs to say at this point. Her gaze continues on to Rasputin. "Anyway, about that garden idea... we've figured out the general size, and prices for different spots in the city... we may need to figure out something out how we're going to go about getting the land... loan, waiting until we have the funds, that kind of thing."

"Might look rough but she is a real sweetie, I reckon. Ain't most barkeeps that walk folks home." Caliopa observes around the last of the sandwich. "She ain't gonna hit you around, not likely." She pushes the plate away, curling her fingers around the mug of hot chocolate, giving Rasputin a quick grateful smile, which fades at Sage's words. "That ain't good then. Reckon you want me there? I could ask Viktor to stay if you reckon it might get a piece nasty..." She is frowning, clearly worried. The comment about the land does bring her more attention and Caliopa listens.

Rasputin looks towards Sage as he takes a last bite of his sandwich. He then ponders a moment, "Da, da. So is finding land, uh, how you say, hard." He shakes his head, "Nyet, difficult?" He tugs his beard a moment and then takes a sip of his coco. Cassius nods and gives a gentle bow of his head, "All right I'll rmember you words...thank you." he says and moves to head off, "All right, sleep for me, thank you all"

A simple nod is directed towards Cassius as he heads off, Sage glances between the two remaining people at the table. She looks into Cali's eyes with soft emotion flowing in them, but she seems to decide to speak to Rasputin first as her gaze breaks away with the soft emotion fading away. A faint smile comes to her lips, "Finding the right spot may need a little looking into, but I don't think it'll be too much of a problem." She comments, looking back to Cali. "I guess that means I'll be seeing more of Viktor." She notes, mildly bemused. "But, violence is generally frowned upon at these tea meetings..." She reaches across the table as if to offer it to be held for a moment. "If you'd like to be there, it would be nice."

Caliopa folds her arms in front of her, resting her chin on them, giving Cassius a warm smile as he leaves. Sage's words bring a flush to the girl's cheeks and her mouth widens into that bright sunny smile. "Reckon so. He is a real nice bloke, honest..." She sighs, giving Sage a broad grin. "I'll come to your tea thin' if you want me to. Ain't a bother but I ain't good at talkin' to folks,...Uh would there be any stuff goin' on?"

Rasputin nods slowly and ponders a bit, "Da, for growing anytink it is gooding to be having the right space." He smiles a bit and takes another sip from his coco, "Do you be knowing how muching you will be needing? Land wise?" Sage touches Cali lightly on the hand as if to draw some small measure of comfort before she begins to pull her hand back across the table. She smiles softly at the woman, "He seemed alright so far." She comments, simply before glancing over to Rasputin. An odd look is given first, "Well, if you mean, specific numbers... we're thinking along the lines of a hundred feet by 30 feet." She draws a rectangle on her plate with a finger, then she draws a line near one end to create a small rectangle. "And, about thirty of that hundred devoted to a green house, compost heap, and tool storage." She says, glancing back to Cali. "They may be coming to the flat." She says softly, "It wont be anything fancy... and you don't really need to speak if you don't want to."

Caliopa gives Sage a quick smile, reaching out to squeeze the hand that touched her. "Ain't nothin' that can't be handled." She comments softly, wrapping her hands around her mug, the comment about Viktor bringing a warm smile to her lips. "How much do you reckon you need to get that, Sage? The garden?" She takes a large sip of her mug, inhaling the scented steam, her eyes closing for a moment. "You know. He spent the night, talked for hours, 'n' he didn't push it..." Rasputin starts to feel a bit of third wheel like but just sips his coco and says nothing for the moment, allowing the woman to have their moment. He closes his eyes to imagine the garden, greenhouse and all. After a moment, a sip of coco, and a tug on his beard, "Da, sounding good." He ponders a moment, "I be desiring to helping, but funding not as it could being. Mosting of my monies are in dat Deli, da." He tugs his beard again, "Perhapsing, if had other possible customers. I do not thinking I could buy all of your producing."

Sage returns Cali's smile when she squeezes her hand, pulling her hand back a moment after the squeeze. She looks between the two once more, before settling her attention on Rasputin. She smiles softly, "I wasn't intending to come here hat in hand... just letting you know we aren't just sitting on our hands." She explains, "And, even if we can't find other customer's... I'm sure we'd enjoy having a little of our own produce instead of having to buy it... call it a perk." She chuckles, before looking back to Cali. She purses her lips. "Well, I haven't exactly worked out how much we have combined... but I'm still waiting for that reward for helping the militia." She gives a short chuckle, "Guess they like their help quick and the pats on the back when its convenient." She shakes her head. "Depends on whether we want to risk the Dregs or go with something close to the air field... difference is about thirty thousand credits between the two. And, the Dregs would be sixty thousand... which may be the only appealing part."

Caliopa nibbles on her lower lip, her face thoughtful before blurting out, "I got some cash put aside, it ain't like I live the high life or anythin', 'n' I got all I need so..." She shrugs, studying her mug, her cheeks pink. "I got enough to loan you to get the bit in the Dregs. If you ain't mindin' borrowin' it." She buries her nose into the mug, taking a large swig of the chocolate, finishing it off. "Militia ain't ever got a hurry on payin' out."

Rasputin chuckles and tugs his beard, and agrees with Caliopa, "Da, dat true." He smiles, "Perhapsing I could be paying for a years purchase a head of time, da? Give you some up front. To be helping?" He ponders a bit and tugs his beard.

Sage takes a moment to digest the words that both people speak, and takes a sip from her diminishing hot chocolate. When she sets the mug down, she favours them both with a warm smile. "Well, Isabeau did seem keen on getting a loan... I was just worried we'd get tangled up in some loopholes." She says, "I don't think I'd have to worry about that with you two...." She pauses to purse her lips, "I'd like to discuss it with Isabeau first. I don't think she'd mind, but we're supposed to be partners. Just to get some details straightened away first." She looks between the two of them. "Thank you for offering." She falls thoughtful for a moment, turning her attention to finishing off the sandwich.

Caliopa's cheeks flush and she pays special attention to the dregs of her chocolate. "Ain't like it is of use to me right now." She mumbles, "Might as well be used as sittin' in the bank." She puts the mug down, pushing it away, sighing as she leans back in her chair. "That is a real nice drink, Rasputin, you ain't a bad cook at all." She is teasing him a little, gives him a quick smile. "I gotta get back, tryin' to clear the work so I got space for Viktor's van." The blush returns, as does the quick, sunny smile.

Rasputin's smile broadens as he replies to Caliop, "Nyet, I be doing what I can. I be sure that fresh veg's will be making it betters, da?" He chuckles softly and shakes his head. He then looks to Sage, "It would being a straight contract. No, as you say, loop holes. Square." He nods sharping, as if to seal a business deal. His face is very stern for a moment, then he smiles, "More coco? Perhaps one for the roading?"

Sage's gaze drifts to Cali first this time around, she just smiles with soft emotion playing her eyes again. She doesn't seem to find the proper words, so she looks down a moment before looking over to Rasputin. She nods her head to him. "I appreciate it." She says simply, before hmming softly to herself. "If you have a pen and a napkin I can write on... I'll take another and give you a recipe..." She smiles faintly, "Don't have to name it after me or anything, though." Caliopa is clearly tempted by the offer of more cocoa, but resists, shaking her head. "Gonna try and get it done, mebbe get some sleep. Feels like I ain't slept right for days." She smiles, her face relaxed as she rises to reclaim her coat, wrapping up against the cold outside. She gives both of them a grin, before heading out the door.

Rasputin gets up and makes his way over to the pot of hot chocolate, he brings it back over and refills his mug and Sage's. He looks to Caliopa, "Do be taking care, da. Tis a cold night, and me not wanting any harming coming." He smiles, "Butting I knowing you can be taking care of yourself, da?" He looks back to Sage, "I be having paper and pen, why are you needing it?" He says softly.

"Take care, Cali." Sage calls after the woman, giving a warm smile if she looks back. Then she gives a sidelong look at Rasputin. "Its a good thing its late, or I might begin to wonder about you..." She says, shaking her head. "Unless this is your way of politely refusing a recipe."

Rasputin chuckles loudly as he goes to fetch pen and paper, "Izvinite, izvinite. I being sorry, I keep foretting. Da," He brings it over and smiles, "Again, me be sorry. I was thinking about tomorrows food, da. Mind gets distracted, easily." He smiles and sits down to his refilled cup of coco.

"I'm sorry for teasing you so much about it too." Sage notes softly, before taking the paper and pen. "Thanks." She says simply, before turning her attention to the paper. Slowly and deliberately she begins to write out a recipe on it. She seems to keep in mind that it is a Deli where the food is meant to be tasty but reasonably quick and easy to make. It is a venison sandwich with certain seasonings. Once she's done, she passes it over to Rasputin. "You can make changes as it suits your style." She murmurs, before turning her attention to her own re-fill. Rasputin shakes his head as he looks over the recipe, "Nyet. Nyet changes." He finishes reading it, "I be calling it dat SVD. Sage Venison Delight. Da?" He chuckles softly, tugs his beard a bit. Then sips his coco. He smiles, "Tis a good cold night, da? Do you be wanting something else to be eating? Or are you gooding?" He says after standing, he then begins to clear the dishes.

Sage watches him read the recipe over the rim of her mug, as she takes small sips from it. She lowers the mug when he comes up with the name. She chuckles softly, "If that's what you want to call it." She looks down, seeming embarrassed by such a praising title for a sandwich. When he speaks again, she looks back up. "Yeah... should be heading back soon." She shakes her head to the offer of more food. "I'm pleasantly full." She offers, slowly drinking the rest of the cocoa. Rasputin finishes clearing the dishes, smiling, "Da, da. Dats gooding." He washes his hands again, then returns to the table for his remaining coco. "Do you be needing escorting, da? Tis cold, foggy and dark, da. I knowing you made it here safely, but..." He trails off, not sure the protocol, "Izvinite, if I offending."

Sage cups the mug in her hands as if enjoying the residue heat left in the empty mug, as her gaze drifts back to Rasputin. "Its not too far away, but it would be a kindness to have an escort." She says, shrugging faintly. "Don't need to inconvenience yourself, though."

Rasputin shakes his head, "Nyet, nyet. One more cup, then we go, da?" He stands up and begins to head over behind the counter. He looks to the large tome which is under the counter and smiles then to the pot of coco already made up. He turns and waits for your answer.

Sage eyes her mug thoughtfully, then shakes her head softly. "Two is my limit for tonight." she says softly, rising from her seat to bring the mug over to where he's placed some other dirty dishes. "You can have another, if you like."

Rasputin takes the mugs and puts them in the tub with the other dishes. He smiles and shakes his head, "Nyet, I be knowing where tis, if be wanting more." He smiles and goes over to coat stand behind the counter. Takes off his apron, and white shirt. Showing a nice T-Shirt, the then puts on a nice dress shirt, and slides a harness of sorts on. It has a large frame revolver on it. The then puts on his over coat, puts on a top hat, grabs his cane and comes back out front, "Pleasing, let me helping you your coat, da?" He takes it from the rack and holds it up.

Sage nods to the man when he decides against having another mug himself. She waits out front with him, and begins to move towards the rack and the exit. "You don't have to." She replies, but she wont snatch the coat away. She'll politely let him help her with her coat. "Thanks." She murmurs, before she moves to open the door for herself. She'll step out and hold it for the man.

Rasputin walks along side of you, his cane clicking in the evening fog. He smiles, "Da, short walking. But, making sure. Da?" He smiles, "Needing my veggi's Don't want my source to be going before it coming, da?" He smiles.

Sage doesn't seem too concerned as they walk along as they walk along, and steers them towards the Raleigh complex once they get closer. "Yeah." She says softly, "It was nice of you to escort me, anyway." She smiles softly, "Well, there'd still be Isabeau... but I know what you mean." She pauses, "Thanks. I'll let you know when I've had a chance to talk with Isabeau. I guess you're going to be heading home now as well?"

Rasputin nods slowly, "Da, da." He smiles, "Back to the Deli, finish my work. He tugs his beard, "You be having a gooding evening, da?" And with that, he turns and heads back down the street towards the Deli. The fog quickly begins to absorb him, into the darkness. A soft whistle can be heard as he fades into the fog.

"I guess you'll be burning the candle to its nub tonight then." Sage comments, "And you have a good evening too." She says with a faint smile, briefly watching the man wander off before heading into her building and the relative safety it offers. Rasputin has left. Tags: caliopa, cassius, rasputin, sage
