MAIN STREET

All that wind and rain the night before finally gave up. Tonight the sky's clear and shows the first stars just an hour or so after sunset. It's even almost warm for sort of almost springtime. People can come outside again without freezing, drowning, or getting blown away. That means Bella, too. She shuffles along the street, dodging little puddles here and there. The moving coat even has a head this time since her hood is down for once.

Thoom! Thoom! Well not really, there is no shaking of the earth as Taz makes his way down the road, the humongous juicer literally jumping from puddle to puddle that seems large enough to give him a decent sized splash radius. Fortunately, when you can jump over ten feet from a standstill it's easy to make it from puddle to puddle. Unfortunately for anyone -near- those puddles... Taz usually makes a pretty good sized splash when seven hundred pounds come landing from height!

Nice weather! Gabriel is walking into the city, coming down Main Street through the Merchant's Plaza. Definitely springtime, as the older man is completely out of his winter gear, whistling a tune that in times long past, others would instantly recognize. Traffic along the street isn't so bad. Really, dodging the odd hover-vehicle is the most dangerous thing to do. Still, he keeps off to the side, the park side, just to be safe. As he walks past one of the entrances to the Park, he glances in, then continues on his way. Seeing as how just about every kind of creature is present, there's very little to catch his eye in a significant way, large or small.

Jason is standing outside of Happy Burger, a few steps back from the place as he studies the interior through the window. How long he's been there is debatable, but he seems thoughtful on the subject of the place. His coat is firmly drawn about him and he seems comfortable enough despite the evening's chill.

A lighter jacket is worn by Sage this day as the temperatures have climbed higher than it has for months. She starts to come out onto the street from the well-known gym. She takes a moment to consider the area around her. A giant man... or perhaps boy... jumping from puddle to puddle is certainly enough to draw attention. The odd simplicity draws faint amusement to her features.

Bella picks up the sound first. Maybe not earth-shaking, but a bouncing Taz can't be that quiet. She looks back and her eyes widen. Her little walk along the street takes a sharp detour detour to the side. Bella doesn't want to get landed on, and she was avoiding the puddles for a reason. Like not wanting to wear one. The really big guy gets a really big berth.

No doubt people scatter quickly, not wanting to get splashed by the giant sized man as he goes bounding from place to place and puddle to puddle. Boundless energy wrapped in a not-so-small package... scary thought. Still Taz is at least waiting until he has a clean line for the jump between splashes, not wanting to knock anyone over or perhaps just wanting to make sure that he has a clear path to make it to the next puddle. He catches his bottom lip at the corner between his teeth and worries it for a moment, trying to decide between two puddles and in the process catches sight of Bella, "Hey coat!" He calls out to her and then... LEAP! Taz is jumping through the air towards the puddle nearest to Bella, which thankfully, isn't that close since she gives them a wide berth.

At this point, Gabriel is close enough to the giant beast to watch it leap like a child from spot to spot, which makes him wonder if some asshole got plugged in the head and some other asshole kept him alive just so that he can roam the city pissing people off and being dangerous in general. Of course, his face doesn't break its happy grin, because despite what he may think, he's a happy and gentle kind of guy. Even when a fairly significant amount of puddle slush breaks across his chest, he smiles, shrugs, and keeps whistling. It's a good tune, and kind of ironic. The water doesn't spend much time on his jacket. For some reason, unknown reasons, he looks toward the gym, making recognition of someone there. His path moves in that direction.

Jason turns at the commotion that Taz makes as he's coming along the street. He's not so close to where Jason is, so the man doesn't move locations. His brow lift slightly and he watches the man almost exclusively for the time being, Though when the man's attention shifts to Bella, he notes the woman and her potential predicament. A moment's decision leads to action as he reaches out towards her and 'pulls' with one hand, drawn back to him in a snap. The coat wrapped woman will pop up just slightly and be drawn towards him and out of danger as the Titan leaps through the air. "I hope you don't mind, but perhaps that will make up for my not returning the other night," he offers as she comes to rest neatly, the momentum killed before the gripping force releases her.

While the antics are initially amusing, the person is still a giant and capable of hurting people by accident. Sage sighs faintly before adjusting her posture to let her voice carry. "Please stop!" She calls over towards the giant, deciding to see what the reaction of the giant will be before she continues further. When she notices something strange about the movement of one person, she glances to notice another person down the way from her.

She might've been about to say 'Hi' back. That was before Taz leaped her way. Instead, it comes out of Bella as "Oh, shi-" Even that doesn't all make it out when she's yanked abruptly towards Jason. Her flinch and turn away from the splash that she was pulled away from relaxes after she realizes she's not there anymore. There's some blinking and looking between Jason and Taz. "Uh... sure?"

  • SPLASH* Taz still lands in the puddle but Bella is no longer there, having tracked her movement and he frowns, "That was weird..." He rumbles, looking over towards Jason and studying him for a few long moments as he looks back and forth between Jason and Bella, and then there is the shouting person. Taz looks over towards Sage, "Why?" He asks her in a loud rumbly deep tone of voice, "It's only water. Like they're gonna melt... made of sugar?" He laughs.

Terrance enters from the north, once again clad in a simple jet black uniform of sort. He sees the jumping giant, and Bella being yanked aside to dodge the jump. "Everything ok down here?" He calls, addressing pretty much everyone. He leans forward, and his figure blurs to the naked eye, and he stops short near Gabriel, slowing to a steady walk. "Gabriel, Sage, Jason.. How are we today?" He asks, nodding towards Bella and eyeing the giant.

Gabriel is in his warm weather gear, officially declaring winter over, even if it does come back tomorrow. He's had enough. As he moves slowly toward the gym, he's bright enough to give the hulking jumper a good distance, at least as far as he's already seen the thing jump. At this point, Jason and Bella - whom he enjoys a silly nickname for - are visible to him, and he waves a single hand in greeting to all. Though a good amount of it is probably directed at Sage, truth be told. Terrance's sudden materialization, or so it seems to him, elicits a quirk of his eyebrow. "Hey, Terrance. I'm good, you?" He resumes whistling.

Jason nods his head towards Bella. "Ordinarily I don't do such a thing without asking, but.. asking would have been rather slow." He looks back at Taz with a soft frown. "You really should take a lady's thoughts into consideration on such matters. Few enjoy such treatment," he offers the large man firmly. Terrance's greeting draws his attention and he offers the man a nod before h e glances towards Sage. The hand that he extended to draw Bella lowers then as he observes the large man and the woman.

Sage's gaze drifts back to the giant. There are many ways of approaching this, but it seems the person is closer to a youth than a man. "Easier ways to splash without risking landing or falling on someone." She calls back with a hint of mischief in her tone before switching to a more serious tone, "And, some would consider it rude to splash." She decides to leave it there, before looking back towards the others. Too many for her to pay true attention to them all. "I'm doing well enough, Terrance." She comments before she begins to move to make conversing with some of those familiar to her easier.

Taz eyes Sage, and then eyes Jason, "Since when does -anyone- care about how another thinks, in this world?" He rumbles with a bit of a smirk, reaching up to rub at his bearded cheek lightly with one huge armored hand. "Not illegal to jump inna puddle." He says simply, "And I ain't hurtin' anyone, not landin' on anyone, an' ya all worry ta much, life ta short ta be all pissy about a little water." He rumbles with a shake of his head and then he looks for another puddle within his leaping distance...

Bella recovers from her double shock and peers up at Taz. Way up. She agrees with Jason on this one. Probably because it's about her being considered. "She ain' a one yer tryin'a splash. 'Member shit melts too." She's short, so it can be stacked that high. "'S still cold. Tryin'a stay dry."

Terrance frowns as the giant speaks. "In this city.. Sage does mostly. And Gabriel, And Jason. Not sure about the little lady here cuz I don't know her, but she might too. That answer it for you?" He asks, turning his attentions away from the juicer and strangely enough, back to Sage. "Hey.. do you remember that contingency we discussed? About possible employment in your spa? I need to discuss a few things with you if you have a sec."

"Hello, Miss Sage," Gabriel offers pleasantly as he and she close distance. "Trying to tone up the muscles so that you look good when you get the massage you won?" The older man winks and smiles, a little humorous verbal poke his only intention. He begins to say more, but turns to Terrance - though continuing to move casually - and saying, "I know you're tough, my friend, but provoking large things usually isn't a good idea, y'know?"

Jason merely shakes his head slightly. But so long as the large man seems intent to leap a good distance from where he stands, he leaves the large man to it. With the others gathering somewhat, he seems amiable. His eyes shifting to Terrance as he speaks of the spa employment. A faint grin comes to him as he notes to Sage, "I have wondered if you were going to utilize me as well, soon. My time with the refugees has ended, so the strain on my energies is eased. Though I suppose some details will have to be considered in that respect."

"You may not intend to hurt or fall on someone, but even the best of us make mistakes." Sage replies simply, before making a dismissive gesture. The others seem to explain the other aspects without her having to go into a lecture herself, not that she's convinced that would work. She looks between the three other men that address her. "I remember the conversation in the coffee shop." She says simply, since it seems to work for these three. She takes a breath and lets it out. "But, let me get this straight... my business has a lot more than the spa to it. There is also some other things that are just as important if not more so." She comments, before gesturing to Jason. "You need to show me that you're willing to do mundane things and not just rely on your own special abilities." She gestures to Terrance. "I may just have to see how you work out as a situational body guard before I consider you as more." Then finally to Gabriel, "And, you, let's try not to get into an argument about who's bigger, better or smarter, hm?"

Taz looks down at Terrance, "An' that makes me give a shit why?" He asks in his deep rumble, "Don't know any o' y'all from Adam, cept Coat, an' she's just a coat. Y'all can worry 'bout some water if ya want, or, ya can try an' make life worth livin' an' have some fun once inna while." He then spies his next puddle and -THOOM- he leaps towards it with another booming laugh. It's not like people don't have warning to get out of his way, same as they'd get out of the way of a hover vehicle or the like. *SPLASH* another puddle evaporates outwards as size twenty seven boots come landing in the water with another booming laugh out of the 'giant'. As for Bella's comment about 'shit melting' too, apparently he doesn't necessarily think that would be a bad thing, or perhaps doesn't think Bella's made of shit to be melting. With another laugh Taz looks over towards Sage and then springs up onto his hands before he jumps straight up into the air, flips around, and lands nimbly on his feet without so much as a bounce. Fortunately the puddle he was in has already been mostly splashed out so there's only the faintest little splash when he lands this time. "Babe, I ain't gonna hurt no one I don' wanna." He rumbles to Sage with a broad grin before he then looks for another puddle.

The mountain is hopping again. Jason, Good Guy Gabriel and the others are talking about work. That leaves Bella on her own, sort of. That doesn't bother her and she just watches Taz add a flip and things to the jumping. Her scowl fades into a little smirk. Ok, the really big guy does have a point.

Terrance looks back at Gabriel as he speaks. "Nah, bigger they are, the harder they fall. I wouldn't advise it for you buddy, but I'm not worried. Unless he sits on me, we're good." He tells his friend, then looks to Jason, then to Sage again. "Yeah, that's what I wanted to talk to you about. Uhm.. I have previous priorities that I have to attend to before shadowing you and keeping you safe. But at the same time I did make something of a promise to do just that. So I found a solution we can both be happy with..." He says, stepping between Sage and Taz, his gaze averted from them both, but his other senses focused with laser precision. "If you have a moment to talk about it. It wouldn't do for the world to hear." He pauses and speaks aloud to no one in particular. "Which is exactly why we are wary of you and your 'roids.. we don't know you. I'd venture to guess any of us.. don't know you. Take a moment to change that and things might change, emphasis on the might."

Gabriel actually has to stop, close his his eyes, shake his head like a cartoon character, open his eyes wide again, cant his head to the side, and finally ask... "What?" Still, he seems to let it go as quickly as it came. As far as he knows, unless there's a new issue, there is no issue, so why dwell on it. He shrugs and smiles. "I'm not looking for any argument, Miss Sage. But you must be offering some *really* good wages. People - yes, including me, though no longer - have been climbing on you ever since you opened your place." A bit of puddle washes over his head, wetting some of his hair and dripping down his face, but the older fellow just doesn't even seem to mind. Not even an annoyed flinch. To Terrance, he offers some sage advice. "Yeah, and if you give a man enough rope, he'll hang himself."

"I am quite willing," Jason tells Sage. "While my abilities do make many a thing easier, my endurance is not limited. Though if you have a particular task in mind, you may tell me what it is. Otherwise, I'm not quite sure how you'd like me to show you this." He glances towards Taz as the man speaks, but a simple, amused little smirk seems to be all he has for open response. He glances at Gabriel for a moment, but notes to the man, "It has little to do with money and more to do with an interesting potential when it comes to work."

It seems Sage is the popular one of the group as she seems to have three men (Gabriel, Terrance and Jason) speaking to her a rock's throw away from the Gym entrance. Close by is Bella that seems to have gotten a little left out of this particular conversation. Adding a little playful spice to the scene is a giant man that seems to be enjoying a bit of child-like play by jumping between puddles. The giant seems to be eliciting some comments from the group at large and everyone else seems content to be getting away from the 10 foot guy splashing water around... well, except for the traffic that doesn't have much choice in the matter.

As for Sage, she has to content with keeping the conversations straight. She glances between the three men before looking to the Giant. She offers the giant a faint shrug, deciding its not really worth fighting over something she's not likely to be able to stop anyway. She looks back to the men, focusing on Jason first. "Well, it /is/ a spa... so, let's see how much work we'll need to get you able to handle appointments with just you and none of that 'ride' you comment on. I can probably arrange to have a practice person." She comments, before looking to Terrance. "Any place that would be good for this conversation?" She comments before settling on Gabriel. "I never spoke to anyone about wages... there must be something else appealing. You've made your choice and I've made my decision."

  • SPLASH* Another puddle full of water becomes a nearly empty pothole in the road as Taz's feet land in the water after a ten foot leap. A deep booming laugh escapes him again and he looks over at Terrance and the little cluster of people, but mostly Terrance, "Why would I wanna? Y'all jus' bark an' try ta order a body about, got no sense o' fun or humor, an' act like ya run this joint. Been livin' here all my life," He rumbles, "And ain't seen a one o' ya try an go inta Dregtown an' be a busy body there. So ya can take yer hypocritical holier than thou attitude and shove it up yer ass." He shakes his head, "Prosek's left nut, dude needs ta yank the stick all the way outta his ass..." He rumbles to himself before he looks for another puddle... by this time though his leaps are starting to carry him away from the cluster of people that is Sage, Gabriel, Terrance, Jason, and Bella, whom all apparently appear to be by the entrance to the Gym. Taz of course, is making ten foot leaps from puddle to puddle.

"Nice people 'n Dregs don' mix." Bella isn't in a conversation so that's to no one. Or maybe just herself. She shufflewanders a little from Sage and her man harem. Not towards the ginormous puddle emptier, either. It was mostly just her wandering the street before and now it's sort of back to that.

Celaeno slinks her way up the street, moving in sudden spurts of motion as she slides from awning to awning along her path. Her light coat doesn't seem especially good at keeping out the chill, and it's quite apparent by the occasional drip that it does little to keep out the wet, with her long black skirt seems rather heavy from the rain. The over-large man bouncing like a frog is a hard sight to miss, sending the woman to pause in the open for a few moments as she peers, considering the ramifications. She begins inching herself closer, eyebrows twitching as she begins taking in the nearby group.

Terrance doesn't see Cel as of yet, as his attentions are on Taz and Sage primarily right now. "Any place is fine Sage. I just wanna let you know my solution and update you as to it's completion. I've already put it into production as it were. Should be done shortly." He tells the women, before turning his gaze and attentions fully on Taz. "You may want to learn when to keep your mouth shut Gigantor.. Gabriel here does help were he can in the dregs, as do I. Just because you happened to be working out or getting fitted for the special Olympics.." He tells him, motioning at his chest, as he knows a juicer when he see's one. " He says, still squarely between Taz and and Sage, and by proxy, between Taz and everyone else as the big guy leaps around.

"Of course," Gabriel replies politely to Jason. He then smiles at Sage holding hands before his chest, waving them slightly in surrender. "I know, I know. Don't mind me, I'm just here for pleasant conversation with a friend, I'm not looking for employment. In fact, I'd be down at the Silver Fork for a rare treat of being waited on, if I hadn't caught sight of you out of the corner of my eye. But right now you seem to be more popular than the Prom Queen!" Another figure catches the corner of his eye - Bella the Bolero. Just kind of standing there and looking generally unhappy and pissed off about life. He'd probably say something, perhaps even move toward the young girl and invite her over, if it weren't for Terrance suddenly and without warning bringing him into conflict with the huge child. Pleasantries of the conversation are left aside for an abrupt moment as he states to Terrance, "Here, third rule. Know when to pick your battles. Fourth rule, when calling an allies, be damn sure they'll come to your aid. Unless this guy starts killing people, I'm sorry, but that's not me." He shrugs, very apologetically.

"I am at your service," Jason replies to Sage. "Let me know when to come and I shall. I am, perhaps, not so skilled at giving ease manually, but I am ever willing to learn." He dips his head, then glances towards Taz. "All I asked was for you to give a woman's desires some thought. Though it would seem you have some larger issues given that speech. Kindly don't include me in them. You don't know the first thing about me and my sense of fun." His voice smooth and measured in saying as much. Oddly polite as he turns back towards Bella, giving her a considering look as she starts to move off. "And you, miss. I trust the other night was not too troublesome?" Cel's presences is noted as well, the young man offering her a casually familiar nod.

This evening, a gathering of people is near the gym. All of those here, save Taz, who is nearby jumping about into puddles, Bella who has started to move off from a spot nearby and Cel who has come to a pause at a spot nearby.

"Alright..." Sage comments to Terrance figuring there isn't much need to comment further as the man seems intent on mixing it up verbally with the playful giant. A glance to Gabriel with a brief chuckle comes, "Yes, it does seem that way doesn't." Then she glances to Jason with a nod before she seems to pick up on Cel's presence, "Speaking of which..." She comments, before settling slightly out of the grouping, "Cel!" She calls over to the woman, "Have a deal to offer you."

Bella wanders a little more. She winds up roving over and around the group then towards the bounding giant. Not chasing after him or even getting close. Keeping him in sight and staying behind his leaping could be the safest place. She sidesteps any puddles that Taz left water in. Like she said, she's trying to stay dry. A little smirk points to Terrance when she passes. "If he's just havin' fun that makes ya the bitchy bossy ass, don' it?" Guess she doesn't care so much about the jumping so long as she's not the one getting squished or splashed. A shrug and "Was Ok" answers Jason.

With one final SPLASH Taz stops jumping and turns to look at Terrance, he raises an eyebrow and he grins, "Maybe got stick in brain too. Bite off more than can chew little squishy." Whatever else he was about to say is distracted by Bella's comment and he laughs another booming laugh, "Look, even Coat agrees." He apparently, doesn't know Bella's name so calls her that. To Jason he shrugs, "No sweat man, ya bein' cool, didn' mean ta make it soun' like I was tryin' ta rope ya in with Mr. Self-Righteous." He gestures towards Terrence then. The giant starts to walk over towards Terrance then, loom loom loom, he looks down at the other man. "Maybe take chill pill yeah? Else..." He tsks and shakes his head sadly, "Not be responsible if stupid enough ta try an' fight me."

Celaeno is oblivious to the brewing conflict, frowns slightly to the world as Jason registers his nod, giving an inaudible grunt as she nods back. Swinging wide, she approaches Sage - after all, potential employment comes well before interesting giants. "Oh, yeah?" she says, thumbs hooking under her belt, "This the kind of deal that pays, or the kind of deal that saves on paying?" Her mood apparently improves as her thoughts switch to Professional mode. One hand pats her belt, moving to draw a cigar out as she gives another glance to the big-man, though she lets their conversation roll.

Terrance smiles at Taz, immediately following the squishy comment. A frankly unnerving smile for most. "Who said anything about roping you in Gabe.. I think we both know I wouldn't do that. Not to you anyway." He tells the man. Then Taz gets shifted to a mental back burner and Terrance turns away from him. "If you were by chance going into the gym I can fill you in before your workout."

Gabriel addresses Terrance with a smile, calling playfully, "Okay, just so we're on the same page, my friend! Just making sure!" He then gives Sage a clearly quirky look, the kind that would make a little kid laugh. "Maybe there *are* certain things that are made too big?" He then transforms into an adult and sticks his tongue out. As Bella seems to be doing her own thing, the only other half eye that he keeps out is on Terrance and what's happening with that action. To Jason, "Potential employment with Miss Sage? I've worked with her a couple of times out in the wilderness. Well.. maybe it was only once, but it still counts. Just let me warn you -" humorous wink "- she knows her way around an energy rifle. Just hides behind the image of a quiet person owning a spa."

Jason nods to Bella and casually follows her a moment before Gabriel speaks to him and he considers the man thoughtfully for a moment. "I am sure she's quite capable. Though my own work with her is not so likely to be of a martial nature." Though he does have to look towards the woman with a questioning air to make sure. And in the same moment note the interaction of she and Cel with a light interest.

Sage smiles faintly as Cel approaches, before nodding faintly to the first question. "Well, I was thinking more the latter than the former at the moment... but you know I'll keep you in mind when the other comes up." She comments, "Any way, I need to train someone up on working in the spa and was wondering if you'd be interested." She gestures briefly to Jason to indicate the person. She glances briefly to Terrance. "Was just leaving, actually." She comments, "Might have to wait on the talk if you keep the rest up..." She glances briefly to the giant before looking back to Cel.

Bella stops shuffling and starts backpedaling. Taz didn't jump, but she could still get stepped on. He probably wouldn't even notice. Makes it easier for Jason to follow, too. She almost backs into him. A brow pokes up at him and she gives a little smirk. "Ya stalkin' me?" He gets one eye. The other's split between the unemployment line and giant boy.

Taz rumbles another chuckle as Terrance doesn't say anything further to the giant and then turns away, "Smarter than look." Taz rumbles before he hmms, "Bored." He muses thoughtfully and starts to meander off. At least he's no longer splashing in giant puddles or leaping around... for the next ten seconds or so anyways it seems. He looks over towards Bella and smiles at her, apparently completely missing that Celaeno had approached at all in all the almost fracas with Terrance. "So Coat, how'd ya move like 'at? You jus' sorta... floated..." He makes a motion with one big hand that he thinks simulates someone floating though it's more like a horizontal wavy motion as he moves his hand from the right to the left. He's all broad smiles to Bella however, as if the moment of stress disappeared completely to the big juicer when Terrance looked away without another snide comment aimed in his direction. "Stalkin'? No. If was stalkin', would not see. I is stealthy like ninja when need ta." Yeah. Right.

Celaeno smirks at Gabriel's assessment of Sage, "Stop spreading malicious rumours. She is a wonderful woman with the delicate soul of an artiste." Her smirk spreads into a full on grin before sliding back to Sage, "Free day at the spa, eh? Full of mud and…" she hesitates as she grasps at the concept of a spa, "cucumbers, and steam and massages?" Her expression is one of amused interest as she continues, "I could go for that, I think. Though I'm sure I could scrounge up some change if you still wanted to charge."

Terrance shakes his head to Sage, dismissing thoughts of too-big-for-his-breeches for the moment. "Won't be a problem. I can fill you in as we go. To your spa perhaps?" He offers the woman as she turns towards Cel.

Hmm, the crowd is beginning to grow, conversations being shattered and confused. Large people, short people, spooky people, possibly semi-crazy people. Gabriel looks around and crosses his arms across his chest, just staying out of things for a while, possibly trying to give himself time to catch up on things before jumping in with both feet again.

Jason arches a brow at Sage's words to Cel, his eyes drifting to the skirted woman thoughtfully. Paused as he is, he has a moment to react to Bella's near collision with him with a slightly lifted hand, though he pauses as she self corrects. Her words prompt an amused smile before he says, "You're the one who almost hit me," he offers her. The lifted hand rises further and gives her shoulder a pat before he looks towards Sage and Cel. "I wouldn't think of having you pay," he tells Cel. "After all, you'll be my experiment, so to speak. You shouldn't have to pay for being a learning tool. Though 'tool' is not used in any sense to diminish. Of course, if you find my ministrations enjoyable you would be welcome to tell Sage as much and return again."

Sage considers the other woman's reaction to the suggestion before smiling faintly once more, but Jason seems to speak up before she can about the payment. "We'll worry about any charges if you wish something that doesn't involve his training." She suggests, "Otherwise, I think I can handle giving promotional freebies. You'll just have to let me know when is good for you..." She comments before glancing towards Jason, "and you." Then she looks to Terrance. "If you like." She adds simply.

"Dunno. Hafta ask 'im." Wow. Bella suddenly has her own little man harem, sort of. She shrugs at Taz and jerks her head to Jason. That's a good question. Her head stays jerked to look at him. "How'd ya do that? 'N I didn' hit ya." All the talking about ministrations, tools and freebies gets muddied together and confusing. "Gotta get credits for all that kinda stuff, don'tcha?" Maybe it's just the free part she doesn't get.

Taz hmmms and then looks at Jason, "So, cool cat, how didja move her like 'at?" He asks curiously in his deep rumbly voice, and apparently, Jason is now Mr. Cool Cat in Taz's book for not being -to- much a wet noodle about puddles and splashing. He then must be side tracked by something else because for whatever reason Taz reaches up and itches his cheek, looking off at... nothing before the giant of a man suddenly turns and without explanation, or good byes, starts to walk away from 'Coat' and 'Cool Cat' to head off like he has a purpose.

Terrance smiles at Sage, and falls into step along side her. "I'll catch you later Gabriel, unless you wanna come along to watch Jason's.. er.. ministrations on Cel." He tells the man grinning more than probably is proper. He's going to explain himself, then leave them be.

Her attention sliding back to Jason, Celaeno says brightly, "Well, it's certainly up to the owner of the spa as to whether she'll charge, hey?" She moves into a stretch, arms twisting above her head, accompanied by a lingering yawn. "But I guess I'm willing enough, so long as any damage to my delicate body is covered by some sort of exorbitant payoff. Or at least another free day or two," she sways slightly, her skirt leadenly giving way to the motion. "And as for the moment, my schedule is entirely open." Her eyelashes flutter, though flicker about as she takes in the surroundings once more, eyes dancing between those she doesn't know.

"You're out on the River Walk near Jelani's, right, Sage?" Gabriel asks. "In all seriousness, you might be able to get some kind of small agreement with them. Y'know, people get a little banged up on their adventures, they send 'em to you for lots of business, but with a little discount. Just a thought." He shrugs. "I was thinking the other day, when years in the future I might theoretically have money, opening up a school. But if it's this much trouble... I'm really going to have to think about it. Thought of a soda fountain, I think people'd like that, but I may be the only person who knows how to use one right now. You're a brave woman, that's for sure." He looks around the crowd of both known semi-adventurers and random civilians with a certain amount of interest. Busy evening.

Jason nods once to Sage at her thoughts on the payment option, as well as to Cel herself. "As it is, I am rarely unavailable. You need only leave me a message at the Happy Days Inn with the time I am needed," he offers to Sage. Then to Cel he says, "Of course, I shall be careful. The last thing I would seek to do is harm to a lady I am trying to relax. Not at all appropriate." Bella gets a casually amused smile. "I am a man of some talents," he offers to her. "One of them is the application of force. Though I, perhaps, did not need as much as I used upon you, you are quite small. But better more than not enough in that case." His eyes lift to consider Taz as the man walks away after his question. His eyes return to Bella as he adds, "Normally, but if I am learning with someone as the subject, it seems inappropriate to ask them to pay until I am properly experienced, is it not?"

Sage gives Terrance a mild reproachful look before getting a faintly amused look. "You aren't going to be watching." She notes, before giving a faint smile and shaking of her head. Then, she glances about her to consider the other people. She nods to Gabriel, "That would be the general area, yes." She comments, "And, I'll give it some thought. Perhaps you'll be useful for my business as an idea man... whether you'll get paid or not is another matter." She adds this last part with a small tease. She glances between Jason and Cel next. "Alright you two... come along then. But, let's worry about other sessions later and whether they'd be free or not." She comments before she begins to head off for the exit leading towards River Walk. Her gaze drifting to Bella as she begins to move. "I don't think I've seen you around before." She comments as she pauses, seemingly no longer distracted from the other woman.

Terrance chuckles as he gets shot down by Sage. "I was kidding, I don't really want to watch that. No fun if I can't participate, and I can't. Literally.. I'll just fill you in before the party.." He tells Sage, his gaze dancing between Jason and Cel. He's grinning now, that grin that suggests he's hiding a comment or maybe a bad thought.

Bella smirks at Jason and his some talents. "Yeah. Heard that before." He's polite. He's easy on the eyes. He can tug people around without touching them. He even seems nice. He's gotta be hiding something. She turns her little smirk to his volunteer victim and back to the ministrator. "Still... if yer lookin' fer learnin, maybe I can help." The least she can do since he did keep her dry. And she can afford free. Oh, the other lady was talking to her. Sage is next. "Guess not? What kindsa things ya makin' him do?"

Celaeno says, brightly, "They'll all be free, because I'm just such a wonderful person." Her gaze flickers slightly as she looks at Bella, but any further interest is lost to the air, and she finally takes note of Terrance, "Don't worry, I'll let you know when he's gotten a bit better - it would probably be a pretty boring show at the moment, anyways, hey?" She slides behind Sage, since apparently it's time to be on her way to a free spa day.

Gabriel smiles, a slight smirk, and offers up, "I'm no businessman, I just have thoughts now and then is all. You know, they come and go. Usually go." Tap tap on the side of his head followed by a wink. Though he follows Sage at some distance, he looks more than happy to allow what had been a sudden influx of voices to drift off. Of course, not without a little eye-roll at Jason's own comments, one that will be politely done far out of anyone's normal line of sight. As Bella refrains from introducing herself, the older man simply hangs back, observing, not the one to be out there playing the roll of friendly matchmaker. For the first time since the influx of human bodies per unit volume dramatically increased this part of Main Street's density, he begins to whistle again - quietly. Just listening, he has no real wisdom to add to a conversation that is more than simply friendly talk.

Jason is amused at Bella's answer to him and question to Sage. He allows her to answer it unimpeded as he too starts to fall in behind Sage as he offers to Bella, "We shall have to have a proper talk time in the future, you and I. Take care with the puddles." A casual grin as he comes up beside Cel. "This should prove interesting," he comments lightly. Though he does give Cel a thoughtful look. "Boring. To watch, likely so. But hopefully not to experience. I do hope you will let me know if I do something that does not please? Constructive criticism is a boon, rather than a bane."

Sage gives a faintly amused look to Terrance, "Sure." She comments, and seems to decide not to comment on the man's expression when it comes to the man's expression. Another amused look is given towards Gabriel but she doesn't comment much there either. She glances towards Bella next, offering a faint smile. "Depends on what he ends up being talented at... probably massages and facials to start off with." She gives a faint chuckle to Cel's comment, "Not sure I'm going to go that far..." She says with a faint teasing tone. "You all can follow along for now... but you'll forgive me if I'm not inviting any spectators inside." She begins to walk once more towards River Walk.

RIVER WALK

"Weren' plannin ta watch." Bella tags along, to a point. She's trailing and not right up in the group. On Jason's side of things since that's who she's now talking to. "Talk? Sure. I can talk. 'Less ya learn too much 'n forget how." More smirk at that. She doesn't follow very long and stops about the time the others start walking by the river.

Celaeno seems content to follow along, just giving Jason an amused smirk in response to his question. "We'll see, we'll see what happens," she says, attention sliding to the two women as she offers to the group at large, "Interest anybody in a drink? A smoke?" she asks, finally getting around to lighting the cigar that she had produced early. Puff, puff, "Or are drinks a bad idea before relaxing?"

Gabriel holds out a polite hand to Celaeno. "No, thanks." To the crowd in general, "I have to admit, I'm just being nosy. Sounded interesting following in here to see what was happening. Y'know, powers and all, auditioning for employment, who knows?" He glances to Sage and states, "But if you like, I can be on my way, leave you good folks to be without a fella just standing around with wide eyes."

Jason gives Bella a nod. "That hasn't been a problem yet. Let us leave it to the winds, hmm? Though I likely won't be visiting the graveyard too many more times." One clue at least for future meetings. As she pauses, he lifts a hand towards her, a parting gesture. Cel's question prompts him to consider the cigar. "I haven't often smoked. Usually when it has a particular flavor to it. Does that one?" And as he awaits her answer, he notes to Gabe, "This will be about a distinct lack of power use. Though experience tells me that I might wish to refrain even if that particular limit wasn't placed upon me." His attention returns to Cel, a lightly knowing air to his expression.

Bella makes a sour face when Jason reminds her of the graveyard. "Me neither." Free drinks sound good, but she lets them go. She stopped, they didn't. She ends up looking to Gabriel. "Nosy's good sometimes. Sometimes not."

Sage purses her lips before glancing to Celaeno, "I'm not sure, it could be good or bad depending on how you look at it." She comments, "But, there'll be enough to drink once we get where we're going." She comments as she declines the offer, before she considers the party. She takes a moment to look back towards the trailing two people. "Well, perhaps you can make sure that..." She comments to Gabriel before looking to Bella. "I'm afraid I don't know your name yet. Mine is Sage." She offers, before looking to Gabriel, "she gets home safely enough?"

"'Long as you keep your mind to yourself, there won't be any problems," Celaeno says, firmly, giving a puff as she pauses, staring a long, blank stare at Jason. "It's tobacco flavoured. Every now and again I get a desert cigar, but," she shrugs, slowing with Sage, but lingering uncertainly.

Gabriel slows to a stop and asks, "Bella? Sure, I can walk her home - if she wants it. I don't know where home is, though." He looks at the coat and says, "I'm certainly not going to try to grab your hand and tug." Somewhat like as what happened with Terrance earlier, he seems to have been put somewhat on the spot, and without warning, though he's still amicable enough not to complain or even frown.

"Then when you have one of those, I might steal a taste," Jason replies to Cel. "And I will do so. Though in the future it can add to what is otherwise pleasant in its own right. Of course, I understand if you don't trust in my scrupulous intent yet. But should you ever, the offer for a more sublime experience is there." He continues along with the other two women without pause.

"What he said." Bella turns her face to Sage to answer. The top of her head tilts at Gabriel to show the 'he.' "Try not ta break him? Since we're s'posed to be talkin later." She's more worried about Jason's fate with the ladies than herself getting home, and even that worry isn't really worry. Bella's coat shrugs at Gabriel. "Home's wherever I feel like falling over."

"In that case, perhaps a nice meal instead." Sage suggests, "Could make it my treat." She adds before glancing to Bella with a nod. "I'll try to make sure he comes away unbroken, Bella." She comments, if faintly amused. "Perhaps we can talk sometime." She offers before looking two the trainee and the volunteer. "Now then, shall we?" She asks before she begins down the path that'll lead to her place.

Celaeno gives a light snort, plucking the cigar bemusedly from her mouth and turning away from Jason. "We'll see," she seems content to leave it at, her attention suddenly absorbed by the ember on her cigar. She gives Gabriel and Bella a small wave as Sage continues on, moving to keep up with her.

Bella's comment elicits an interested eyebrow. "Oh? Here I thought that I lived a Spartan lifestyle. C'mon, lemme buy you a burger or something. I think these nice ladies are getting serious." Gabriel offers a tip of his hat - yes, he's actually wearing his jungle-style floppy hat today - to Sage and Celaeno. Jason receives a man-to-man, universal look of, "Good luck, you poor, poor bastard." It's an amusing look that every man, from every culture, since the beginning of time would recognize. "Bella, how does Happy Burger sound?" With that he moves off, not waiting to see if he's followed."
