An apt play on words, Monkey Buisiness is run by none other than Salvador Oneros, a run away CS Monkey boy with a flair for games in general and pre-rifts ones in particular. With a sharp sense for buisness to go along with it, the inevitable result was Monkey Buisness. A 24/7 around the clock arcade to keep the denizens of Kingsdale ammused. Near the door is a simple little coffee bar like setup that sells chips, soda, coffee and other things to drink or nibble uppon, though nothing of real sustinance. To compliment this area are several plush though heavily worn sofas, chairs and tables. Deeper in are all the games themselves, older favourites such as virtual gravball, to the latest such as Deadboys and D-Bees 3, CS Killer IX and Day of the Brain Eating Zombies.

The real treasures of this place however are much deeper in, in the back in a seperate (And usually locked) room. Accesible to those with a taste in the real oldies. The pre-rifts games. Some of the machines in the back are near priceless to collectors, ranging from pre-cataclysm VR arcade games, to even an extremely ancient but still functional pac-man table that has exchanged hands almost innumerable times.

Bartholemew enters the establishment shaking the frozen rain from his coat and boots a step inside. Removing his coat he moves over to find himself a place at the small coffee bar to order a coffee before finding himself a seat on one of the couches to enjoy the warm liquid. As he drinks his coffee he fires up a cig and puffs away.

Galvin is sitting at an arcade machine casually playing a first person shooter game. His attention is only partially on the game as he turns his head to notice someone walking in. His diverted attention gets him killed, but he just shrugs his shoulders and walks away. Taking a sip of his soda he walks over and takes a seat on the couch. Giving Bartholemew a slight nod of his head in greeting as he sits down.

Bartholemew glances up to Galvin with a nod, "Howdy." he greets pleasantly flicking his ash into a nearby ashtray going back to his idle enjoyment of his coffee and cigarette.

Galvin smiles a little bit as he says a, "Hello" in return. He puts his feet up and takes another sip of his soda. "So the weather out there looks pretty mean. I hope it starts warming up soon." Turning his head he looks out the doors at the frozen rain coming down.

Bartholemew nods with a grunt, "Yeah, nasty as all hell out there. It's been that way all winter it seems. Names Bart by the way." he offers the man a friendly hand to shake after putting his smoke between his lips.

Galvin leans in to shake the other mans hand. "Galvin. Nice to meet you Bart. So you just come in here to find some shelter or do you play some of these games?" He asks in a casual manner as he takes another quick sip of his soda.

Bartholemew smiles to Galvin getting himself all comfortable again after the handshake, "Came to warm up a bit. In between patrols right now and didn't want to sit in my hole anymore. I can't stare at a screen like my partner does."

Galvin leans back on the couch as he adjusts his glasses on his face. "Oh patrols? What do you patrol? You a security guy or something?" He asks with obvious curiosity as he finishes up his soda and crushes the can. Walking over to the recycling bin he tosses the crushed can in the bin and slots his credit chip to get a new diet soda.

Bartholemew nods with a smirk, exhaling a cloud of smoke above his head. "Well sorta, we do justa bout anything for the right price. Right now me and my partner have a gig patrolling the farmsteads, but with that dragon killed that was killin cattle, I'm thinkin they are going to send us packing soon."

Galvin opens up his can of diet soda and walks back to the couch to take a seat. "Oh yah you were involved with that dragon hunt as well? A woman named Cel has me fixing some vibro swords of hers that broke during that fight. That is what I do. I fix and design stuff." He says before sipping on his can of soda.

Bartholemew smiles broadly, "My partner would be interested in chattin with ya. He's a wanna be Op, good soldier though. But yeah I was with that group who took out that dragon. Messed my laser turret up a bit, but nothing John couldn't handle. Lost my armor in that fight, damn thing ripped it right off my body like it was everyday clothes. I'm lucky to be alive, Cel's a good commander."

Galvin leans out to put his can of soda on the coffee table before leaning back. "Oh yah? What would he be needing or wanting?" He asks with interest as he crosses his feet on the table. "Glad he fixed it up for you. I hope you made enough credits to be able to pick up some new armor at least? If you ever want any modifications or anything fixed that your friend John can't do give me a call."

Bartholemew nods, "No problem, good to know a good mechanic. John likes just shooting the shit with mechanics. Kinda his hobby I guess. I got me some new Crusader armor actually, a bit tougher than the Bushmans I had. Still all shiny new." he grins happily. "If ya ever need some guns out on a salvage job, gimme a holler. My partner and I used to do alot of guerilla and salvage runs."

Galvin shrugs his shoulder quickly as he nods his head. "Sure thing. Always happy to talk to someone that knows the trade. Yah that Crusader armor is a nice design. One day I'll get myself something better then the gladiator armor I have, but it works for me. I even put in a short range radar system into it." Leanign forward he picks his soda back up and takes a sip from the can. "Well I haven't done much in the way of salvage yet. But I'll keep you in mind. And if you want I can always add more armor to your vehicles or increase the range of any weapons you might have. Also make custom grips. That sort of thing."

Bartholemew raises a brow curiously, "What kinda range can you add to a Skycycle laser turret? Right now they have bout 4000ft. Would be nice to have greater range with them or even more damage out of em. That possible without burning up the engine?"

Galvin adjusts his glasses, pushing them up further on his face. "Uh I could add another 400 feet or so without putting any further drain on the engine. But for greater damage you are usually going to have more energy drain. I could increase the efficency and range of your engine by about ten percent, or up the speed by about the same amount." He takes a long drink of his soda before continuing. "It is all about trade offs. Like I could likely add more armor to your skycycle without reducing the speed too."

Bartholemew nods with a smile, "Well I'll definately get back in touch when I have the creds. You got a shop you work outa? I'll be sure to drop by with the bike for you to look at. John's not that good, he can do small repairs but nothing major like that."

Bartholemew and Galvin are chatting together on the couch. Bart sips on coffee smoking a cigarette while Galvin drinks a soda.

John wanders in andstarts in for a game before noticing Bart on the couch and starts over that way a smile on his face.

Bartholemew looks up to John from the couch and grins happily, "Well speak of the devil. Was just talkin bout you." he chuckles looking back to Galvin. "Galvin, meet my partner John. We go way back."

John sits down on a nearby couch, "Nice to meet you." then looking over to Bart, "Ohh how so?"

Bartholemew sucks down the last of his coffee getting up from the couch, "Want a cup John?" going over to order another cup, maybe two, maybe? "You want a cup Gal?" he asks looking over to the operator.

John shakes the mans hand, "Names John. Pleasures mine." looking over to Bart, "Sure I'd love a cup. Make sure you get me extra sugar." after settling a bit on the couch he looks back, "I know a little. It was just a minor repair on his turret, no big deal really. I love tinkering though. Hoping to learn a bit more as I have the time."

Galvin shakes his head at Bart's offer for coffee. "No thanks I have my soda. I'm more of a soda man for the most part." He says with a slight nervous smile. After having his hand shaked he leans back on the couch. "Well there is always new things to learn and work on. I'm trying to look at a forcefield design, but so far no luck. If your ever stuck on something maybe give me a call John. My name is Galvin by the way."

Bartholemew hangs at the counter waiting for the cups of coffee. The counter person has to brew another pot. Eventually he comes back over with the coffee, one for him and one for John. Looking to John as he sits back down, "gonna have him look into increasing the damage output on my skycycle. Need another good job like that dragon hunt. Maybe we should look at organizing a hunt around the Ley lines."

John smiles with a nod, "Hell yea I am down. I would like to upgrade my cycle as well. Wish I coulda been in on that last dragon hunt. Next time for sure."

"Like I said. I'm not sure if I can do it without burning anything out, but I'll certainly take a look at em and see what I can do." Galvin says with a slight shrug of his shoulders. He swirls his soda around in his can as he turns his head slightly to John. "Well can add armor to you cycle if you want. That way it can take more damage. I figure the longer something can stand up the more damage it can put out."

Bartholemew chuckles at Galvin's comment, "Thats a good way of looking at it. Well I hate to have to run, but my turn on patrol has come." rising from the couch again, "Good to meet ya Galvin. I hope we can do business together soon. John, I'll see you out at the farms later on."

Galvin gives Bart a nod of his head and a wave goodbye as Bart gets up to leave. "Good to meet you. Yah hope to hear back from you." He adjusts his glasses on his nose. "Well it would depend on how much armor you have. The cost of armor plating is fairly standard. But I could likely add ten percent more armor to your bike pretty easily without any performance issues."

John smiles and nods, "Well I gotta pull off a job that pays some decent money but that is defiantely something I would like done." anfter taking a sip of coffee John adds, "Would you mind if I helped with the work? I might learn a thing or two."

Galvin takes off his glasses and a clean rag out of his overalls. He cleans his glasses while he considers John for a moment. "I heard there was some job going done. Cel mentioned something to me. You might want to ask her about it." He mentions while finishing cleaning his glasses and then putting them back on. "Sure I don't mind. I will likely be starting work at a garage soon, but while I'm doing weapon work, or not working for a garage yet you are more then welcome."

John nods and takes another sip of coffee, "Yea Bart had mentioned there might be more work from Cel. Wish I hadn't missed that last bit of fun. Hopefully we can get in on the next one."

"Well I'm not so much the combat type, but I understand the pay is really good." Galvin says with a slight smile and a nod. "Just have to be careful about getting killed. That is the nasty part of the whole buisness. Much safer to work on some new designs."

John chuckles and nods, "But the rush of it all makes the whole thing worth it. And I agree the pay is pretty good sometimes. Feast or famine as they say."

Galvin laughs before taking another sip of his soda. "Well maybe when I can build or afford my own giant robot I'll go looking for trouble. But for now I am content just to get some work and some credits."

Chuckling, John nods, "Now that would be a blast. I am not that rich my friend, but maybe someday. As long as the rent is paid and there is beer in the fridge I am content."

Galvin keeps laughing along with John. "Well I'm not that rich yet either, but maybe I can build a leg here. An arm there a missle launcher there. Who knows. Should be fun to give it all a try. So far I can at least afford beers and soda still."

John finishes up his coffee, "I have an appointment I have to get to. It was good meeting you. Hopefully we will see more of eachother soon."

Galvin nods his head as he raises his hand in a farewell gesture. "Alright. It was good talking to you. See you around John."
