Kingsdale - Firing Range
Kingsdale's Public Firing Range is a huge conglomerate of three sub-facilities run by the city's organized military. It has been designed and built to accommodate weapons of all shapes and sizes, thus making it a popular place for adventurers to try out new weapons, tweak old ones, or simply hone their skills on favorites... Valeriya

Another good day for a lesson. But today Valeriya's waiting for Rasputin outside the range and from her leathers, doesn't look to be considering a fight. Good news yes? Possibly, if one is not more unerved by not knowing what she intends.

Rasputin comes walking up, of course not late but not early, he waves to Valeriya. He smiles, "Greeinks, goodink mornink Valeriya, you are net dressed for sparink. Dis somethink comink up?" He looks at your dress and tugs his beard, "Or did mink messink up da day?"

"No its all good for today. Just thinking we'll be focussing more on wizardry than combat." Valeriya answers with a shake of her head. "So no real need for armor or this range." She says, already leading the dwarf away from it. She doesnt lead far, just back inside the gates to the Nut and Bolt.. Interesting.

Kingsdale - The Nut And Bolt
The Nut and Bolt is a mechanic's hangout, catering specifically to those who spend their days working with hands and minds buried within machines. While the common customers are mechanics, factory workers and techno-wizards, people from all walks of life and style can be found here from time to time. It is a large establishment, with a broad ground level with loose tables and chairs that can be moved around to accommodate larger or smaller groups. Players-

Rasputin follows Valeriya, and is a little puzzled by the location for this lesson. He asks sheepishly, "Mink net questinink your technique, buttink dis net lookink like place for lesson with magiks."

"You'd be suprised at the situations that can require magic." Valeriya answers with a smirk as she leads the dwarf into the crowded and noisy bar. It seems especially so today, packed to the brim with mechanics borgs and everything in between so much that its hard to find a table. Its harder to hear onself think and find romm to express oneself in such a drowning atmosphere. Both vital aspects of spell casting.

Rasputin follows you carefully and squeezes in with you. He doesn't say anything until the two of you find a better place to stand, or sit. He looks around a bit and thinks about things for a bit, and is starting to get a bit uncomfortable with the surroundings but doesn't say anything.

Valeriya has to raise her voice considerably just to be heard by someone two feet away that is cleary making every effort to be attentive. But she does manage. "So, today we're going to run you through a similar excercise to last time. But we dont want to make a scene here, so pick discrete spells."

Rasputin lifts a brow, "So we beink castink spells in here? At each others?" He thinks a few minutes, "Mink net sure about dis," He shrugs, "Da, mink will havink to be makink sure we are net noticed, da? Nor hittink peoples eithers, da?"

"Doesnt have to be at each other, though that could be an interesting twist if you have a spell that would work without getting us into a brawl." Valeriya notes before taking a second to center herself. She then makes a gesture in the close quarters and utter a dark phase before the looks to Rasputin, much more impressive than before. " Valeriya adds, "So, show me what you've got."

Rasputin grins a bit, and then a small phrase slips from his own lips and faint magic slides out towards Valeriya, a magic designed to slow down those quick mental reflexes of Valeriya's...

Valeriya blinks ahs she suddenly gets an extreme head rush. Shes not even drinking.. But she knows this game and smiles at the induced delirium. "Good! I can get a buzz on with out even running a tab. But you need a drink too short stuff!" She challenges, her tone more vulgar and load with the effects imposed on her. Again she gestures and utters a dark phrase, this time reurning the favor.

Rasputin blinks and smiles as he remains stalwart against the mental magic attack. He mouths, "Net workink." And then he says softly under his breath a spell of charm which was attempted upon him yet failed....

Valeriya smirks, shaking her head. "You still dont have a drink. Time to fix that!" She challenges accusingly. Then she looks to a nearby table wehere a bunch of mercs have just been served. And with only a knowing look a mug of ale floats from their table to rest in front of Rasputin.

Rasputin blinks and then does a quick vanishing act, so the bears appears to be floating in front of no one and Valeriya is standing by her self. He makes an unseen shift to the left.

Valeriya puts on a face of shacok and amazment as the group turns to see their beer on her table. A moment of bewilderment and then she sends it back before standing to call it a night. "I think that lessons been learned." She adds mostly to herself as she moves out to wait for the dwarf outside.

Rasputin slowly and carefully moves his way through the crowd. He gets pushed a few times, then stands in front of Val and appears, "Da, mink thinkink mink gettink da point, da?" He chuckles a bit, "Dhough, da mercs mink het likink you stealink dheir drinks da?" He tugs his beard, "Dhough, castink and thinkink on ones feet, da?"

"Da." Valeriya agrees with a nod. "Should keep you busy till the next lesson. Just dont get yourself killed and i'll see you next time." She bids with a wink and then makes to walk off her befuddlement.

Rasputin grins and nods, "Da, da. You be doink well, da?"
