As they make there way through the plaza, there a few signs of activity, being long past the hours of business. As such the one store front that oddly appears to be open for some reason stands out like a beacon as they near it. Once Tirzah figures Sage has noticed and looked to see the oddly open dress shop she smiles warmly to her.

"I could try going." Sage mentions as they walk, whether its an idle offer or a serious one is hard to tell. Her gaze eventually settling on the store front as it stands out when they begin to approach it. A considering look, before she looks to Tirzah with a faint raised brow. "I didn't think that dresses were good traveling gear for going to an undead planet..." She murmurs with a hint of teasing in her tone. A small amused smile on her lips.

Tirzah smirks at Sage, nodding in acceptance to the idea of her coming. "If you want. I wont ask you to. But I wont mind it if you do. You have just as much right to make an effort to save our home as any." Then looking to the shop as they approach she shrugs lightly. "Wasn't shopping for me, though if you're coming along I will insist I still get to see you in it before we go." She adds, dismissing the ruse.

Sage nods faintly to the woman's comment, "The Elf did say we all have a role after all..." She comments softly, with a thoughtful tone. She lets her attention drift back to the shop after a moment. She manages a brief chuckle, "A dress, hm?" She comments, glancing to her friend. Somehow she knew a moment like this might come, but wasn't sure what would bring it about.

Tirzah nods and leads Sage into the lit storefront. A single clerk is present, giving a silent smile and nod in Greeting as Tirzah leads Sage to the arranged display. "I saw it the other day, and I just knew I needed to see you in it before I left." She explains as she lets Sage take in the item.

A faint nod is given in acknowledgment of the clerk as Sage walks with Tirzah towards the display. She looks to her partner first as she speaks, considering the words before she looks to the item itself. Her gaze runs over it and takes her time to consider it from a couple different angles before she approaches it to touch the fabric lightly with her hands. She colours a little as she considers how it might look on her. "Its..." She isn't sure which way to comment on it. She gaze going back to Tirzah as if uncertain whether such a dress is for her. "Shouldn't it be longer and... go cover more?" She asks.

Tirzah giggles at Sage's blush and shyness. "It could, but why hide more of your beautiful skin when this cut would show it so marvelously?" She asks her lover. "I mean we can look at long coats and the latest in thermal stockings for the time of year of course. But as a expert in how good you look, you'd have nothing to be ashamed of in this dress." She finishes Confidently. "That and I already paid for it."

With her lover suggesting to show off her body, Sage still has a look of shyness on her features but there is a something about the look in her eye and curl of her lip that suggest other thoughts lay underneath. She turns to walk towards Tirzah, but with a sway to her hips. She simply looks mildly amused to the suggestions of how to make it practical at this time of year. Once closer, she slips her arms over the other woman's shoulders and clasps her hands behind the other woman's head. "But, why would..." She begins to say as if to offer an argument against the dress. She makes a small face before a mischievous look comes. "Then, wouldn't you be afraid that I might attract the eye of a handsome man that would want to whisk me away?" She asks softly.

Tirzah smiles wide and mischievous, making it apparent that the thought has occurred to her. "Oh that's part of the idea. I'll need to make an example of one so that this doesn't pose a problem later on. No sense in skirting around it if you can just absolve it entirely." She offers, a great deal of huomor in her voice.

When the other woman doesn't seem to be even mildly caught off guard by her suggestion, Sage can only smile softly to her partner. "I thought you were getting me a dress instead of a skirt." She murmurs, playing on the other woman's words and gets a look of mischief in her eyes . She leans in to give a quick peck on the other woman's lips as if to delay a response to her comment. pose shrugs and was about to retort but Sage leans ion a kisses her which is an automatic win for her in this case. Though the quickness of the peck inclines that it could have been close had Tirzah cared to further the line. Moving on she nods to Sage. "Shall I take that to mean you like it?" She asks with a coy smile.

Tirzah shrugs and was about to retort but Sage leans ion a kisses her which is an automatic win for her in this case. Though the quickness of the peck inclines that it could have been close had Tirzah cared to further the line. Moving on she nods to Sage. "Shall I take that to mean you like it?" She asks with a coy smile.

Sage purses her lips as she considers her partner, with a sparkle of mischief in her eyes. "I'm sure it would look lovely on you." She gives the other woman a wink and an amused grin before the looks back to the dress with a thoughtful look.

Tirzah smirks at Sage. "Indeed just need to get some water balloons and it will be a perfect fit. Should I get two and we can be a matching set?" She inquires, the humor prevalent though she also looks half serious.

When Sage looks back to her partner, an amused curl resides on her lips but she has a mildly resigned look in her eyes. "Let me try putting it on." She concedes, before her gaze studies the other woman's eyes. "But, it still doesn't look like something I'd want to wear in cold weather..." She slips her hands back over the woman's shoulder as she turns back to the dress and converses briefly with the clerk about getting the dressed moved to the changing room. She glances back to Tirzah over her shoulder as she moves, with a little questioning look in her eyes as if wondering where the woman might expect her to wear this.

Tirzah shrugs at the mention of cold weather, having many solutions to that at hand. "Yes, you go try it on and we'll see how accurate the sizes of the clothing you have it my place are." She promises with a wink. Then as the clerk carefully takes the dress down from the display and over to the change room she takes the time to idly browse the other apparel about the store.

Once settled into the changing room with the dress, Sage does look the dress over some. She changes out of the clothing she has now, folding those clothes neatly for the time being. Then, she slips into the dress. The feeling is very different from her typical choice of clothing. She smooths her hands along the fabric on her legs in a vain attempt to make it seem longer. Then, after she's fretted over her look a little, she steps out into the store. She looks uncertain about how the dress looks on her. Her gaze seeking out the other woman.

Hearing the changing room door open to announce Sage's emergence Tirzah walks over to see and smiles brightly. "Oh wow.." She says, taking in the look for a few moments and flushing slightly. "Yes, that will do nicely." She says confidently. You are right about the legs though they could use a little something. Here try these." She suggests handing Sage a package of stockings. Noticing her partner, Sage considers the other woman's reaction to the dress she selected. The first words uttered doesn't seem to convince her that she may look attractive in the dress, but the flush seems to bring a small smile to her lips. She walks towards the other woman, slipping a little swaying of the hips into her motion as if to capitalize on whatever brought on the flush. "I think I will go with you on that quest, after all... if nothing else, it'll give you a reason to fret like I do right now." She turns her attention to the stockings and reaches out to take them. "Alright..." She says simply, walking more sedately back to the change room.

Tirzah smirks at Sage, ready to accept any level of fretting that may be required for this indulgence of vision. "Sounds fair." She says warmly as Sage heads back to the change room. There when she opens the stockings she'll find them moderately shimmery with silk laces to tighten and tie at the thighs to hold them up. Yes it will be quite clear that with these one the attention will not solely be rested on the shortness of the dress, it will be equally divided between that and the length of the legs.

Content with the concession for now, even if Sage may have felt a higher urge to go along for whatever reason. She still isn't sure whether this sort of dress will be for her, but it seems like a situational dress at best. She takes her time to carefully pull on the stockings. They are a relatively straight-forward item of clothing, even if she's not entirely used to wearing such. She considers herself in the mirror after they are fashioned. She supposes the eye catching shimmer may off-set the short length of the dress, but it still makes her feel more vulnerable than a sturdy pair of pants. Soon enough, she steps back out of the changing room. pose nods, appearing quite satisfied. "So how does it feel?" She asks openly her expression sliding to curious and critical. Like Sage could say it wasn't her and that would be that. But her eyes are also hopeful, because though Sage wasn't used to this kind of look. Tirzah could see that it could be far more powerful and practical than pants. If Sage was open to it. Tirzah nods, appearing quite satisfied.

Sage doesn't doesn't answer right away as she decides to walk around a little bit to get the feel of it. She turns a little bit to get the feel of the dress. "Wearing a dress feels much different than what I usually wear. She smooths her hands against the fabric along her legs once more. She considers the length and realizes it isn't quite as short as her imaginings, but it isn't terribly long either. The shimmery stockings are a novelty so far. She looks back to Tirzah, and walks over to her. "And, only one shoulder strap does make it a little difficult to hide a bra strap." She notes, before slipping her hands over the woman's shoulder and clasping them behind the other woman's head. "I'm not sure whether I'll feel comfortable wearing this a lot either..." She purses her lips, "What did you have in mind for it?" She asks softly with a raised brow.

Tirzah shakes her head in agreement to wearing the dress a lot. "No its definitely not casual wear. Though to the bra strap I understand there are strapless bras for such ensembles." She reminds Sage patiently. "When I saw this dress and imagined you in it I thought it would amplify your aura of confidence and calm. It felt to me that with it you could still a room, make an impression, and say what you needed to say and be respected by all. I didn't limit it to any special occasion or date I just thought 'Hmm I haven't seen her in something like that yet.' And sought out to rectify it."

The patient reminder she receives only brings a faint smile to Sage's lips as she considers the other woman. As her partner elaborates on the reasoning behind the dress, she considers the words thoughtfully. At some point, she's ever so subtly pressed her body lightly against her lover's body. She gazes deeply into the other woman's eyes, yet her own eyes seem to be as thoughtful as perceptive. The dress would attract attention, but could it make such a good impression as the other woman said? "Well, it is a little pretty." She admits, "But... did you really buy it already?" She asks.

Tirzah smirks as Sage presses into her, considering her answer, which is no doubt enough to reveal that there is still some flexibility. "If I did you'd be inclined to accept it as it is and perhaps neglect it in your closet for some time before you got inspired to wear it. If I didn't you could decline and perhaps brows for something you'd be more readily comfortable in. My answer is I still have the receipt, and the inclination to see more of your modeling. So how about you accept this dress from me and browse for something more readily comfortable?" She proposes elegantly.

"Formal wear would seem to be something that requires some inspiration." Sage replies softly, "Since, I doubt that you would prefer me to toil in either of my gardens in such pretty dresses that will no doubt become dirty as a result." She says, with faint amusement in her tone. She leans in to kiss the woman softly on the cheek. << How often would you have me wander around in the dress if it were your choice? >> She muses lightly in the other woman's mind, before she disengages her arms and begins to wander back to the changing room.

Tirzah smirks letting herself muse on that notion as Sage goes to get changed again. <<Wander? There is to be no wandering in that dress, just as much as there will be no gardening. It is a garment of purpose and indent. It leaves impressions. Such an item should not be adorned lightly I think, or it will lose its power.>> She thinks thoroughly as she waits. <<How often would I have you wear it for purpose? Whenever you wanted something from me. Or someone else, but clause on others to say that that want should need the dress to attain it.>> She finishes.

It takes some time to carefully slip out of the stockings and the dress and keep them in some semblance of order before Sage gets into her more casual clothing. When she steps out of the changing room this time, she looks first to her partner. << Are you sure that its a dress that I would need to wear to get something from you? >> She questions, thinking that she could likely come up with some other ideas on that matter. With an amused smile on her lips, she turns to wander the place to look at the different dresses that are on display in this place. Perhaps there'll be one that strikes her fancy, but she hasn't entirely discounted the selected one just yet.

Tirzah follows Sage through the isles , browsing with her with some interest. "Oh I think we both know that there is nothing that could be asked of me from you that wound 'need' that dress. But maybe, if you really want to show the importance of the said desire that dresses traits will do just that." She offers in content reply.

Unaccustom to wandering through the dress section of a shop, Sage seems to wander a bit aimlessly. She gives a small smile to the other woman's comment, "Ah..." She replies, before directing her attention back to the search. She comes across extermely modest dresses that would seem to be the opposite of what Tirzah had intended. There are other that are even less modest than the one she had tried on. And a miriade of others in between. She begins to fret as she isn't sure what she'd like in a dress and would be pleasing to her partner. Eventually, she stops before another dress. There aren't any straps on this one, but the dress is just a little longer than the other one. She purses her lips as her eyes run over the dress.

Tirzah smiles as Sage stops at another dress, taking a moment to look it over herself. "That one's nice too, perhaps passable for casual public wear if your not doing anything strenuous. Good for social events, dances, and so on. Looks good, but doesn't send messages of intent. An innocent dress." She summarizes, looking to Sage to see what her thoughts of it are.

At first, Sage simply considers the dress as Tirzah begins to speak on it. As the other woman continues, she glances over to consider the woman. She can't help but smile just a little when its called an innocent dress. "So... just a dress version of what I wear now then?" She asks with a faintly raised brow.

Tirzah pauses to give what Sage is wearing a second glance. "Could be, or it could be more, could be less. The intent you wear it with has a lot to do with it in my experience. Wearing my gown, is like being in uniform. I wear it to be seen as a Warlock, or I don't wear it. It has an individual presence." She explains for Sage, her hand reaching out to take in the texture of the dress.

Once the other woman is done looking over her current clothing, Sage steps in closer to once more knit her hands behind the other woman's head with her arms over the shoulders. "I am not sure what occasion would be fitting for a... dress with a message." She says softly, "Especially if its only to be worn occasionally to preserve its power."

Tirzah cocks her head slightly to glance over he shoulder to Sage. "Probably you have not experienced the occasion. Never been in a situation where you felt you should look unquestionable, beyond fault, or otherwise divine. But when you do, when you feel that need, you will know the dress I chose can provide that." She promises with a confident smirk. "And don't you agree its better to have and not need than need and not have?" She adds, looking to be a bit beyond fault herself.

Sage takes a moment to consider the proposition and think on what she looked like in the dress that Tirzah had selected for her. "I am not sure if I necessarily see that dress as saying 'beyond fault' or 'divine'." She comments, "But, I suppose I could always hold you accountable for what such a dress may bring about..." She says, shifting her position as she uses one hand to turn the woman's chin a little bit. She doesn't see the clerk anywhere for the moment, and she leans in to kiss the other woman on the lips. << And perhaps you'll think of me in that dress as incentive to always come back for air. >>

Tirzah melts into the kiss, not wanting to break it for any form of reply. Just unanimous agreement with Sage in her thoughts for the moments that the kiss continues. When it does end though she manages a wry smile. "If I am to be accountable I must insist I supervise those uses." She notes with a professional air.

Sage's lips curl slightly as the woman answers through the kiss rather than verbally or mentally. Content with the moment, Sage withdraws her arms and slides over to one side of Tirzah. A small smile coming to the woman's comment, and gives a soft playful hmm'ing sound. "Perhaps we can come to an arrangement." She concedes.

Tirzah nods, her smile filling with cunning. "Sounds like we already have. Or did you have some particulars to add?" She asks, the alternative dress long since forgotten to her.

"We can get into that later on when we return from the quest... at some point" Sage comments softly, before briefly looking to the other dresses around them. "Make sure to get those leggings too." She adds.

Tirzah nods disengaging to purchase the leggings and get it all packaged up. From the counter she looks back at Sage. "Oh, do you have some shoes that would go with this outfit?" She asks, figuring it a simple matter to get some if not.

A look of amusement comes to Sage's face when she's asked about footwear. "Of course not." She replies with a smile, "But, I'm not wearing any of those high heeled things..."

Tirzah shakes her head, grinning widely. "No those certainly are not shoes for the beginner to wear. Not unless I float you around. How about low to moderate heels? Two or three inches." She asks, not wanting to lose too much from Sage's calves in the necessary compromise.

"As long as I can walk normally in them, I suppose those would be okay." Sage replies, "Although, I'm beginning to see how wearing dresses complicates things..." She comments, giving the other woman a look. Yet, she isn't expecting to wear the outfit much.

Tirzah snickers at Sage, a bit of glimmer in her eyes as she catches a moment to pass on some wisdom. "Well my elders always told me, nothing worth doing is easy." She imparts to Sage, content to leave it at that as she points out an appropriate pair of svelte leather shoes to Sage. "Give those some practice steps." She suggests

Moving over to the shoe section, Sage takes the shoes and finds a place to sit where she can try the shoes on. Once she's slipped out of her usual footwear, she slips into the offered shoes. When she does try walking in them, she's tentative since the raised heels aren't unfamiliar to her. She gives Tirzah a considering look.

Tirzah nods encouragingly for how they look. "How do they feel Sage? With shoes at least, its comfort before looks." She offers, letting Sage get a solid feel for them.

A thoughtful look is given to the first question by Sage before a little mischief begins to creep into her expression at the comment that follows it. "Not used to the feel..." She comments, before she begins to look at other options. She'll try on a couple of other shoes before finding one that seems to convey some comfort to her feet.

Once Sage is satisfied Tirzah asks for the color to match the dress and it all gets packed up. Carrying the bulky boxes with relative ease she looks to Sage, ready to carry on to the expedition. "You sure you don't want anything else love?" She asks, genuinely willing to spoil Sage beyond measure.

Eying the shoes briefly, Sage discards the possibility of searching for more shoes at this time. She considers the other options once she's asked about what else she might want. She has a dress, leggings, and shoes... but its hard to tell if there should be something else. "I suppose a scarf would take away from the message... so, perhaps nothing else from this store."

Tirzah considers that suggestion and stops to put the boxes down for a second. Returning to the counter she looks to the clerk. "Do you have a choker in the same shade? Perhaps with a broach or other decoration?" She asks and the clerk nods enthusiastically, knowing just the item. Moments later it too is packaged up and Tirzah carries the whole set out, patiently waiting for Sage to follow.

With the other woman deciding to get another accessory to the outfit, Sage simply watches without giving a comment one way or the other. She seems content when the outing seems to have come to an end and moves to follow Tirzah. "Thank you." She murmurs as they begin to leave the store. All of this for her at the other woman's expense.

Tirzah smiles warmly at Sage. "You're welcome." She replies simply, appearing quite content with her investment.
