Overview
Logs are a many faceted thing and now the impetus of posting and documenting the RP on this MUX is placed with our players as a whole. They're one of the ways you gain experience, as noted in Gaining Experience.
Posting Logs
The process for posting a log is relatively simple. Firstly you need the timestamp for the log(gained by using +Time). It comes out in this format: Sat Apr 02 10:54:36 106 PA.
Firstly, you take the first three parts and search the Wiki for logs containing it. In the above example, 'Sat Apr 02' would be what you look for. Looking to the day before or after is advisable to make sure you're not posting a log that's already been posted.
Once you've determined that the log isn't there, you put the other end of the timestamp into the Wiki search box. In this case: Apr 02 10:54:36 106 PA. There will be a link on that page that lets you create the page that isn't there yet. Click on that one and you'll have an edit box.
Now you put the text of the log in. Make sure you remove all of the OOC talk, channels, pages and command spam from it, leaving just the IC aspects(If you want to leave in character or room descriptions, that's up to you).
Finally, make sure you include the categories for the log. You need one for each participant in the log, one for the year the log falls into and, if the log is not complete(if you don't have the whole scene), Unfinished. The format for categories is explained here.
