Laramy

Laramy is a small town, roughly forty miles from Kingsdale itself. It is a small community of about 2000 people and connected via a well maintained road. It is largely regarded as a gateway to the city of Whykin and the rest of the wilderness. Though it is typically very quiet, the residents of Laramy have a no BS attitude towards travelling men and women -- they have seen that nice-seeming juicer become a drunken meanace far too many times to not shoot first and ask questions later.

Players are welcome to live in Laramy, or the surrounding areas IC'ly if they so wish. Laramy is very much the quiet frontier town symbolized in so many movies. There is a single street, a single major bar and usually just one person doing any particular trade in town. It serves as a restocking base for adventurers who do not wish to make the journey all the way back to Kingsdale. Most recently, it has become a major outpost for people hunting monterous creatures that have emerged from the rifts and there are facilities in town to cater to these hunters.
