Rasputin stands over by a group of heavy bags. He is speaking with Tirzah who is standing near him. Rasputing frowns a bit, his brows forrowing, "Your skills in magiks. Is it in a specific form? Raw energies, or refined skills? Gift or learned?" He ponders, and shakes his head a bit and mutters to himself in Russian.

Tirzah nods, understanding now. "Its raw elemental power. Given to me at birth. But the raw power of the link can't just be channeled through me directly. I have to shape it specifically. As I gain prowess and maturity the link shows me new ways to do so, usually in ways that would have helped before." She explains lightly.

Kid approaches the land of smackable things with a notable alacrity in her stride. She's eager, it isn't hard to see. Enough so that, as she comes near, she snaps one light glove padded fist out to knock the first one she comes within range of. THe other hand holds her little gym bag, tossed up over one shoulder. But that first bag isn't the one she wants. In the end, she winds up near to Rasputin and Tirzah, though she has her eyes on 'her bag' before processing their nearness. Her bag drops nearby and she turns to face it, immediately dropping into a loose stance. Her expression set, she starts to hammer it, giving it some good hits for a woman of her stature. She's strong, if not exceptional.

Rasputin nods slowly and and tugs his beard, "Da, da. So, being you a... " Rasputing says something in Russian, "Da, War," He pauses, "Warlok?" He shakes his had and tugs his beard again, "Net, Da?"

Tirzah nods in confirmation to Rasputin. "That's right, the scholars call us warlocks. Its as apt a name as any I guess." She says lightly, her glance straying towards Kid as she nears. Her mindset gathering some trepidation in Kid's presence but she does little to show it.

Kid takes on the bag with a custom stance. A little mishmash of a few things to the trained eye. Odd, but tight enough, with a little refinement to the punches she snaps at the bag. She's focused for those few moments of her initial working, a quick vent of some volatile emotion. It'll be after that brief flurry of strikes that she pauses, taking a step back. Her stance relaxing some with a low huff of breath. Her expression relaxes, then schools into a more thoughtful one as she eyes the bag.

Rasputin ponders a bit and thinks to himself. He mutters a little bit, "Da, da. I being not knowing much about Warlocks." Rasputin looks around towards the individual who is also beating the heck out of a poor innocent punching bag. He grins and looks back towards Tirzah, "Da, so, thenning you being an Air Warlock, da?" He ponders a few moments.

Tirzah shakes her head, smirking slightly. "Actually I have two signs, Air and Fire, so two links with seperate abilities to draw on." She explains calmly, pulling a medicine pall over to take a seat. She and Rasputin are talking by the heavy bags, and Kid is there too, dispensing some justice into one.

Or was, though Kid is paused for the moment. Though as she's standing there, the talk nearby tugs at her attention. She glances towards the pair, her eyes flicking across Rasputin and Tirzah idly for a few moments. A slight smirk rises then as she comments to Tirzah, "You're still alive. Heard something went down after I left. Heard a rumor you bought it.. guess that just goes to show.. grain of salt."

Rasputin looks over to the voice as Kid speaks. He tugs his beard and then looks at Tirzah. He was going to ask something, but chooses to remain quiet for a moment. He continues to massage his wrists and fingers, now that he has fully removed this boxing wraps.

As Sage wanders into the sparring area, she adjusts her choice of boxing gloves and limbers her arms up a little. She lightly moves her neck around to loosen up the muscles there. She takes a moment to look around the room, letting her gaze pause when she notices some people that she knows. She doesn't announce herself right away as she tries to get a feel for the mood. She does wander slowly in that direction, though.

Tirzah nods glancing at Kid. "Yeah that would be exaggerated." She snorts. "Though I had a bit of bad luck in the encounter, I wouldn't say they had it easy. They got lucky and had to boot before they could finish it I guess. Took some things of mine to remember me by though. Sure as hell they'll be calling cards when I catch up to them." She promises confidently. Suddenly now that she's letting go of one obligation, others are seeming much more manageable. As can be noticed by her gleeful tone.

Kid snorts in response to Tir's bold speech. "So you almost get killed once, bad luck or no, and you're chomping at the bit to give 'em another chance?" She shakes her head, looking back to her bag as she dips into another loose stance. "But I guess you'll be able to find a few 'heroes' to go help you smash things up. Plenty of those sorts in this town," she adds, starting to jab at the bag again at a more moderate pace.

Rasputin chuckles softly and shakes his head a little bit, "Da, da. Tis trues." He shakes his head, "To be living in less exciting time, da?" He smiles, "Net on looking for trouble, tis finding you soons enough, da?" He says as he looks towards Tirzah, "Growing up in da Dregs, tis a bad place. Mine would not suggest looking for harms, as harms finds you sooner den laters." He shrugs a bit and tugs his beard.

"I guess this means you aren't here to challenge Tirzah to a sparring match for causing a fuss at your Deli, Rasputin." Sage says with a hint of amusement in her tone as she picks up bits of the conversation and the good natured vibe that the people seem to have going for them - except the expected slant from Kid, perhaps. She holds off on heading for exercise equipment for the time being as she considers the three of them in turn with an expression that becomes thoughtful.

Tirzah sends a smirk towards Sage before turning her attention back to Kid. "Yeah, pretty much. Their mistake. See I was without some of my more powerful resources that day. A silly promise I made. But seeing as that worm said I have no moral compass I don't find myself obligated to adhere to it anymore. Nope, I'm not gonna hold back any longer. My power, is mine, I'll use it as I please and accept the consequences of doing so. Everyone else can deal with that or stay away. Not that I'm gonna go looking for trouble per say, but if I find out where to find two particular thugs of trouble, well I wouldn't keep company with them." She continue with a confident smirk.

When Kid hears Sage's voice, she glances towards the other woman, amusement rising up in her expression. "All went well?" The prodding of that question is given without bite entering her flinty voice. She then notes to Tirzah, "I'd be more concerned with being around you if you decide to take the fight to the gangers. Like I said, I've lived there all my life up until recently. Not like I haven't seen people fight the gangs before. And what happens after."

Rasputin just stays quiet for the moment. He has seen three woman play cat games before, and he in no ways wants to be the chew toy. He tugs his beard, and begins to carefully re-wrap his hand wraps.

Sage's gaze drifts between the other two woman briefly as their conversation becomes clearer with the passing moment. Her gaze settles on Tirzah first, "I don't imagine that Sebastien is too pleased about that." She comments simply, before she looks over to Kid. A look of amusement comes to her features as well, "Do you really want to know?" She returns, before she edges towards Rasputin to give him a light tap on his shoulder. "You didn't answer the question..." She says with mild amusement lingering, as if sensing the man's intention.

Tirzah returns the gaze to Sage, full of resolve. "What pleases him is as relevant to me as what pleases me is to him." She states, her coldness clearly directed at the absent knight. "And why does everyone one assume I'm suicidal? Do you really look like some maniac? I'm not going to go into the Dregs to start a fight. I'm not an idiot. But if I see those two again, rest assured there will be ruckus."

Kid eyes Tirzah. "And if they're with three or four more of their friends?" Dropping that simple question before she looks to Sage and states, "If you want to tell it, I'll listen. Ain't like you're gunna freak me out or nothing." Amusement returns. She leaves Ras alone, though, starting to hammer the heavy bag again. "I bet the elf would probably be all over that shit if he got wind of it. Kinda makes me wonder though.." But her wondering goes internally mused rather than outwardly expressed.

Rasputin gets his wraps put back on and tugs his beard. He eyes the heavy bag again and ponders a bit, "Net, net. The Dregs gangs are like rats. They scurry in the darking, and are very wheres. Be putting one down and 10 more springing up." He shakes his head and smacks the heavy bag with a strong right hook, "Butting, sometimes tis better than other places." He shakes his head and throws a left hook, "Da, da. Gooding you not going looking. Keeping ones safe and not running is being good. But seeking out fighting, net. Never leads to goodness."

Sage's lips purse briefly as the physical touching of the man doesn't even see to bring a pause from the other matters on his mind. Rather than dwell on it yet, she turns her attention to Tirzah with a raised brow. "Does that mean you two have hit a bump in the road or the end of the road?" She asks, thinking back to the man's reaction when he first heard about the incident. A brief flicker of a glance comes, amusing touching her expression once more. "Your imagination may have done a better job than me." She offers cryptically, giving a faint shrug. "But, it was nice." She adds, before glancing back to Tirzah. "I suppose it may be because you show a good front, but we don't know about the substance..." She offers, before glancing back to Rasputin. "Guess, I need to be in the Deli to get your attention." She notes simply, before she begins to wander off to find a place she can setup for a workout.

Tirzah keeps up, not really minding as all three sides have sentiments on her view. She grins to acknowledge Rasputin's positively, at least some people agree with her.. Then turning back to Kid she shrugs, not really ready to commit. "That really depends on if they notice me or not. If they do, six or seven armed and armored thugs could be a real challenge, and I doubt I'd get the option to walk away peaceful like. But since the deli I have gained more skill with drawing from my links, affording me the power to be difficult to engage. If they don't notice me though, No I wouldn't risk that many. I may follow, or snatch a straggler, if only to show others that they are not the sort to hang around." She notes carefully, not to worried about the possibility. And finally turning to Sage she shrugs once more. "I'm not sure, he said some hurtful things." She states simply, leaving it at that.

Kid laughs at Sage's return, flashing her an amused glance. "Yeah, probably. But you know what I said.. practice. And upgrade." The amusement lingers with her as she looks back to the bag and considers it for a moment before giving the thing a kick. Her kicks are messier than her punches, not giving it the same level of force and not as neatly performed. She just shakes her head at Tirzah's talk. "Up to you.. just don't go crying if they decide they wanna make an example out of you in return. Me, I'm more interested in making money. Lots of cred, man.." She grins to herself as she gives the bag a casual push before stepping away from it and towards her bag. "I wonder how much those journalists make.." Thoughtful as she dips down to dig out her water bottle.

Rasputin shakes his head and tosses a few more jabs at the heavy bag. He tugs his breard then stops and tugs his beard again. "Da, ifing you getting in trouble be pleasing coming to the deli. Me no likeing people fighting in mine deli, but better to teach people lesson not to bein doing it again." Then as if something had completly escape his attention, he turns and says, "Yzeenee miss Sage. Pozhaluista. I be vey yzeenee. What question did I b e needing to answer?"

Not having the experience with street gangs or different perspective that she cares to share on the matter, Sage simply listens to that part of the conversation. She gives a faint nod to the comment that the redhead directs to her. "Perhaps I should see about arranging that little quest of mine sooner rather than later for yet another reason... assuming Sebastien doesn't end up catching wind of it and wanting in." She says, before looking towards Kid. A faint smile passing over her lips, "Perhaps..." She replies, "I suppose a decision will come at some point too." A thoughtful pause is interrupted when she hears the distinctive accent of the man. She glances over towards him with a raised brow. "I'm thinking the number of questions just increased..." She muses softly, as amusement begins to settle back into her features.

Tirzah shrugs at Kid, not really caring to boast any more and not knowing much at all about reporting. Smiling to Rasputin she nods. "I will certainly keep that in mind dear friend. Your generosity knows no bounds." She says with a reaffirming touch to his shoulder. Then turning to Sage she smirks. "Don't exclude him on my account." She informs her friend indicating that she's not going to make a big deal of his presence. "But if you'd like to talk about it or him later you know where to find me." She notes, before turning to all three. "Excuse me all of you, this parlay has left me a bit winded and longing, and I have a succulent slab a fudge in my fridge." She states before making her exit to the lockers.

Kid glances at Sage. "Decision? Like, size and shape or something?" her amusement remains high and steady. "And what are you planning to do? Out there I guess.. it got money involved?" Right to the meat of the matter for her. She seems to have left off on her own workout, lifting her bottle for a quick swig of the water within. With Tirzah departing she glances after the woman and, after a few moments, she tosses a bland toned, "See ya."

Rasputin nods to Tirzah as she leaves. He tugs his beard and then as Kid speaks and then looks to Sage. "I am being very sorry. What question do you be having?"

A nod is directed towards the redhead, "As you wish." Sage replies to the comment about not excluding Sebastien on the other woman's account. She hasn't quite decided who all might be best for it. "Perhaps you can save a little fudge then." She suggests, before turning her attention to Kid. A small smile takes her lips again, "You seem to be enjoying the idea a little too much... one might wonder if you want to help." Laughter showing in her eyes, before she turns her attention to Rasputin, "Now where to start..." She says, thoughtfully. "Perhaps I should drag you along on my little quest just to make things up to me... but, I trust nothing has gone wrong for your Deli after the little incident?"

Rasputin chuckles a bit, then tugs his beard. "I have been needing to bring going out into the wilderness. Do you be having space for mine in youing trip?" He tugs his beatd again, "I would be needing a suit of armors, da?" He tugs his beard again. "Was there anothetr questioning?"

Sage glances towards Kid giving a mild frown, "There is likely some money to be had on the trip..." She says, "Whether it'll be as profitable as Kesslan's trip, I am not sure." She states this plainly, before looking to Rasputin. "I'm still putting some details together, but there may well be space for you." She says, before nodding faintly. "Yes, its hard to tell what might encounter out there... so armor and a weapon or two would likely be good." She gives Rasputin a mock little glare. "Would you answer it if I asked?" She says with some amusement creeping back into her tone.

Kid gets a bit more serious when the more playful topic slips to the side. She glances at Sage, then shrugs faintly. "Guess maybe after you figure your stuff out, we can talk about it. I like getting paid, but I charge fair when I do. Ain't right getting paid a lot for doing nothing."

Rasputin nods slowly, and tugs his beard. "Da, da. I would be answering if I be hearing the question." Rasputin grins, "Net I someing times does not hear. Me sorry."

Sage purses her lips as she glances between the two of them. "Then, we shall talk later." She says simply to Kid, before her gaze shifts fully to Rasputin. She makes a mild dismissive gesture, "Do you have much experience in the wilderness?" She asks, deciding that she has the answers to her other questions already.

Kid nods once at that. "Yeah. that's fine. Gotta build up some cash," she states. "at least until I score a new job.. one that's better than what I had going before. Get some better armor too.. and more clips for that gun." The young woman thoughtful as she considers the heavy bag again.

Rasputin looks to Kid as she speaks then back to Sage with a tug of his beard. "Da,da. I be knowing the wilderness OK. I have ventures out and be came ing from tere." Rasputin tugs his beard, "Where mighting you be going?"

Having delayed her own workout in favour of conversation, Sage begins to stretch her muscles back out. She gives a faint nod of acknowledgement to the other woman, but doesn't seem to have particular response to add. Instead she looks over to Rasputin. "Up north... back to where the community I grew up was located." She says, feeling a little strange to refer to the community in the past tense. "Suppose I might even be able to see if my sense of impending danger there turns out to be anything..."

Rasputin nods slowly. "I would beliking very muching to be goin with you." He tugs his beard a bit more. "Whying are you going out to there, da?"

"So what sort of stuff did you run into coming here?" Kid glances towards Sage, then starts to jab at the bag again, though in a distracted fashion. "Anything like those.." She pauses and frowns. "What the hell were those goddamn things anyway?"

A thoughtful expression comes over Sage's features, "The area is known for dinosaurs... I've occasionally seen robots that have rifted in, but they usually had other things on their mind... but, since the group was fairly large while travelling here, the only predators we really ran into mainly tried to pick off people too far away from the others..." She gives a faint shrug, "For all I know, there may be undead out that way now." She gives a wry smile as if she's the bearer of 'good' news, before looking to Rasputin, "I'm being accused of something by an Elder of my people and I need to recover an important journal to help clear myself.."

Kid frowns faintly at what Sage describes. "You doing this to find some book? How's that gunna result in creds?" Yeah, she straight out asks it. "Sounds like it could be pretty dangerous to me. How's a book going to clear up this something? Got some kinda incriminating evidence?" She pauses her bag abuse again to look towards Sage as she peppers her with questions. Rasputin grins and then tugs his beard. "Da, da. A book? Interesting, da. Dinos and robots. Soundsfun, da." He chuckles.

Sage's gaze shifts back to the other woman with the directness towards the bottom line. "It is important." She says plainly, "There would be a reward of sorts for it along... and I'm fairly sure there will be other things to be found." She pauses, "It doesn't seem too different than looking for corpses with Kesslan... can't exactly sell a corpse." She doesn't sugar-coat it. "And... perhaps I can explain further when its more convenient." She doesn't particularly feel like dragging her woes out in a place like this. She glances to Rasputin and gives the man a small smile. "Could be."

Kid shrugs her shoulders. "I wasn't there for the bodies.. I was there for the hardware," she notes. "I like Kess and all, but I wouldn't have been out there, risking my life for free. Maybe that makes me a bad person, but I never said I was a saint." She smirks, a wry expression coming to her. "But then, I guess you probably know that already.. yeah, we can talk later on details."

Rasputin chuckles and says something to himself in Russian, "Mine ma was always saying one that is blunt but ugly is always being better than pretty and lying." He chuckles, "When are you thinkn of goink?"

"The pay was good on that trip." Sage concedes to Kid, giving the other woman a thoughtful look. She turns her attention to Rasputin soon after that. "I suppose so." She replies, before pausing briefly. "I'm supposed to go to Laramy soon. Figure unless it gets delayed, I give Cali and myself a week or so to recover. I should be able to give everyone enough advanced warning for whatever committments they have if things change."

Rasputinjust tosses a few hooks at his bag and ponders a bit to himself. "Mine manors are fleeing me lately. Mine is Rasputin, I fun the Deli over by the Arena. Mising to be meeting Miss." He smiles and nods to Kid. Then waits for Sage to reply.

Kid looks towards Rasputin as he introduces himself. "Kid. Just Kid," she states. She then looks to Sage. "You know where to find me if you wanna go into this more. I think I need a smoke, I got some serious thinking to do." The young woman starts to work off her light gloves, working them off as she goes to her bag and kneels down to put them inside.

"Until then." Sage replies simply, before she picks out her own punching bag at long last and begins to work the bag over with moderate jabs, crosses and hooks. Her feet bounce lightly on the balls of her feet as she moves about the bag.

Rasputin nods to Kid as she says her name and then watches her leave. He looks to Sage and smiles, "So anythink else I should be knowing about da trip?"

Kid stuffs the gloves in her bag and stands with it in hand. "Later." Her hand lifted in an idle wave as she heads for the changing room.

"I think Cali will be bringing her truck... so, unless you're bringing your own transportation, I think its just a matter of packing appropriately for a trip into the wilderness." Sage says, "I'll give more details about the situation once I get things arranged and know who's going." She pauses in her punching to look over to Rasputin. "Other than that, unless you have specific questions, not much."

Rasputin nods and continues his work out, "Da, just keep me upping to date. Da?" "Will do." Sage replies softly, offering the man a faint smile before she turns her attention back to the punching bag. Now that the distractions are out of the way, she can begin to pretend to pick her opponent apart. She'll never be a great striker, but its nice to pretend once in a while.

Rasputin beats on the heavy for a while then he waves to goodbye and headas out. Tags: kid, rasputin, sage, tirzah
