Galvin looks at the stage with a little anticipation as he waits for the new set to start. He sips on his beer and moves over a little closer to the stage. He rocks back and forth on his heels.

The wait is not too long, with the end of the next song Rubidia's openers make there way off the stage as it and the bar darken noticeably. A new sound comes over the speakers, smooth cords that relax the mind and give a sense of peacefulness. With that Rubidia walks out on center stage, her outfits phosphorescent aspects highlighting her just enough in the darkness. "Through wind and rain we got here; Now we're flying babe with no fear; We've been doing pain for so long; When i stare in your eyes it's all gone." She starts out soft, her voice nearly timid.

Galvin perks up a little at the smooth cords that start the show. He nods his head in time to the beat while looking up at Rubidia. He seems to enjoy the music as he takes a few steps closer to the stage while taking the occasional sip of his beer

Rubidia fingers her guitar expertly, bringing forth the song she sings whtout any noticeable effort. "Through wind and rain we burn bright; Learn to fly through flames and hold tight; With so many ways to go wrong; But when i look in your eyes they're all gone." Her voice gets bold as she works through the next bit of lyrics, signs on either side of the stage light up a call for sunglasses the cheap but effective accessories that were handed out at the door. Most everyone is already wearing them, having heard of Rubidia's trend to flash her audience. Romurs abound about what else she can do with light.. For now though just the flash ignites, bathing the bar in purest daylight never seen before. "And in my dreams it feels like we are forty stories tall; When you're around ooh we're untouchable; And in my dreams it feels like we aren't ever gonna fall; We're safe and sound and we're untouchable." You cant touch what you cant see after all..

Galvin luckily noticed all the sunglasses and put on his own pair before the light show started. He dances in place, inexpertly, in time to the wonderful music as he blinks his eyes after the latest bright light dazzled him slightly despite the glasses.

"It's only real when you're not around; I'm walking in the rain the sun goes down oh oh; And only love can save us now; I need you here again to show me how oh oh." Rubidia sings, her voice coming back down as do her lights, instead giving off a euphoria inducing heat to those in front. One in particular get singled out with her last line, she points to Galvin, smiling as she adds dramatic effect. "I know that love shouldn't be so hard; And sometimes we're standing in the dark; But you light up everywhere i go." And with that her lights are out, save a beam from her hand spotlighting Galvin. "And I know a heart shouldn't beat so hard; And sometimes we're swimming with the sharks; But you light up and keep me out the cold."

Galvin looks up and into Rubidia's eyes as she points him out. He adjusts his glasses with one finger as he looks a little embaressed. The light shines on him and he shuffles his feet slightly, but his eyes don't turn away from Rubidia singing so wonderfully on stage.

Alonzo steps into the bar, in the middle of a show appearantly. His gaze drifts casually across the room, lip quirking a bit as he looks over the decore before he starts over towards the bar.

Rubidia ignites again for another bold take of the chorus and eases the pressure and jealousy on Galvin as she chooses another to highlight for another rendition of her prior lines. Then another bold chorus at the loudest volume shows the song is coming to a close. "Whenever you're gone gone they wait at the door; And everything's hurting like a bore; Without any meaning we're just skin and bone; Like beautiful robots dancing alone. And in my dreams it feels like we are forty stories tall; When you're around ooh we're untouchable; And in my dreams it feels like we aren't ever gonna fall; We're safe and sound and we're untouchable." She finishes, floating above the stage for effect.

Galvin starts whistling and clapping loudly as Rubidia finishes the song. He lets out a noisy cheer before finishing off his beer and running back to the bar to get another beer before the next song starts. He leaves a good tip as he hurries back to the stage.

<OOC> Rubidia says, "song credit: Untouchable by Girls Aloud" Alonzo parks himself up at the bar, gesturing over towards the bartender, "Hey, get me a pint of whatever ya got on tap." He says before his attention shifts casually towards the stage.

Not having remembered the first performance she attended, Sage's curiousity brings her to the bolt at the word that a new entertainer is around. She takes a moment to take the sunglasses that are being offered. An askance look brings an explanation that brings her to slipping them on before she wanders in further.

With the first song done Rubidia dims back down to let the bar resume its normal levels of ambiance as she floats back down to the floor. "Good Evening Nut and Bolt!" She greets loudly, beaming her smile out into the crowd. "Glad to see you're all prepared and even bold enough to dance tonight. Understandable the my previous performances have caught some off guard, but ow the word is out. So what say you my avid fans? Is there any who would suggest what I will dazzle your eyeas and ears with next?"

Galvin claps and cheers along with the rest of the crowd as Rubidia greets the bar. He looks around at the various people at the question for requests. He shrugs his own shoulders, not knowing enough about music to offer his own request.

The showmanship offered by the woman draws a curious look from Sage, but she tries not to frown too much as she tries to remember if word had spread before she'd be taken. She makes her way towards the bar to claim a drink for herself, before settling down in a seat for the moment to watch the performer. She purses her lips as she tries to think of a possibility.

Rubidia smirks comfortably as the crowd goes in to hushed whispers but know one feels bold enough to call something out. "To nervous to stick your neck out here folks? I can understand that. In fact I have a song here about just that." She says and the lights go back down to let her choose her own highlights again. Something of note this time though are four globes hanging from the ceiling. All are tiled with tiny mirrors, but two of them use tinted mirrors of all kinds of shades. "Watching and waiting, checking on every move that you make. If you go dancing into danger. You keep hesitating knowing you'll pay for any mistake you wont be dancing into danger."

Galvin shrugs his shoulders as no one offers a request and he turns back to the stage to watch as the next song begins. His eyes watch Rubidia as she starts singing and he takes a moment to look around at the mirrored setup before glancing back at Rubidia.

When the singer seems to decide on a song, Sage pushes her thoughts off to the side. Her expression does brighten as she seems to recall this song for another time. A smile comes to her lips as she recalls that particular memory. She begins to hum along quietly to herself.

"In a foreign land there's no home ground. There's nowhere to run to in this town. Stay on your guard both night and day. You've got to be ready. Come what may." Rubidia sings confidently, but the song is more upen between verses for her to show her skills in guitar and she does. Keeping the beat and adding techno resonances the plays the whole range of the instrument, with is extensive. Perhaps enough so to prevent her light from stealing the show. But it makes efforts too as brilliant beams shine from her eyes to the hanging globes iwth the tune.

Galvin claps his hand together at the light shining from Rubidia's eyes. He lets out another whistle of appreciation at the light show and the guitar playing. His head bobs up and down in time with the music while he listens.

A flicker of a thought draws Sage's gaze to look around briefly, dimming her enjoyment momentarily as the other person she shared it with isn't around. But, that gets shrugged off and soothed with some of her drink.

Clearly more of a dancing song this time Rubidia is dancing as well as she plays, making the odd bright glance to the globes. "You're an alien and you don't belong. But you're pretending to be iust one of the throng. So conscious of every word you say. You're not gonna give yourself away." Its a song the probably rings true to many in this fractured city. Now wonder the talented artist picked it up to put her spin on it. "You're watching and you're waiting, checking on every move that you make. If you go dancing into danger..." And the lights go dark.

Galvin trys his luck at dancing and sort of sways and steps back and forth in place. It looks quite unimpressive, but he doesn't seem to mind as he dances along with the music. He stops for a moment as the lights go dark.

Sage contents herself with sipping from her drink, humming along and subconsciously moving to a dance that happened in the past. She lets her humming trail off as the lights go dark. Given the singer's flare, she braces herself for a sudden surge of light.

Rubidia chuckles, her outfit's glowing bands shaking with her giggle. "Well now, maybe The inspired someone to make a request? The lights are out. Thats about as anonymous as i can make it for you. Are there any calls from the dark for my last song tonight?"

<OOC> Rubidia says, "song credit: Dancing into danger by Novaspace"

Galvin laughs as the reason for the lights going out is announced. He shakes his head as he looks around the dark bar. He purses his lips together as he tries to rack his brain for a song that Rubidia might know.

Once more Sage purses her lips as the call for song requests comes. "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard?" She suggests with a humorous tone in her voice before she settles to hide her face with her glass should the lights come back up suddenly.

A pause comes as Rubidia seems to register the request. She stands there a moment, one hand to her headphones and nods slowly. "Um alright. Thats what the fan wants, thats what the fan gets. But, I'm going need a hand for this one.." She says, reaching back among her gear to retrieve a single brass bell and her megaphone. The club lights come up and she tosses the bell to Sage. "Ring the bell when I look to you hun." She instructs and the beat to the requested song starts coming from the speakers.

Galvin laughs at the suggestion and shakes his head slightly. He blinks a couple times as the lights come back on, and he turns his head to look over at the person that got the bell. He shakes his head again at the silly request, but starts listening.

Sage chuckles softly to herself as it seems the suggestion will be taken. She sits near the bar where she'd claimed her drink to sit and watch the singer. She raises a brow faintly when the mention of help is needed. It causes her to lower her glass and quickly look around for how many females there might be in here. She quickly sets down her drink to catch the bell. She fumbles a little but manages to corral it before she loses any more dignity. "Alright." She murmurs, as she readies the bell to be rung on command.

The beat coming strong through the speakers Rubidia start making a slow sensual tour through the club as she takes up the lyrics. "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, and their like it's better than yours, damn right it's better than yours, I can teach you, but I have to charge." Seems ever other line or so she manages a flirtation pose with someone and looks to Sage to hear the bell as all the music goes quiet before resuming and taking her to her next pose.

Galvin licks his lips quickly as he watches the sensual movements of Rubidia. He adjusts his glasses quickly and finishes off the rest of his beer. He doesn't move to the bar to get another yet. His eyes only leave Rubidia to look at Sage to watch the bell.

Leonard has come to enjoy the technological establishment primarily as the music and volume are generally less damaging. At this point in time, that is not quite the case, and he is assaulted by the beat upon entering. He approaches the bar while surveying the patronage and entertainment.

Since she's been given a task, Sage is attempts to be a bit more stoic through the entertainment than amused. She watches the singer for a queue. At first she considers rebelling and not ringing the bell. But, she quickly gets the sense of it leading to more attention being drawn to her. So... she rings the bell when she needs to.

"I know you want it, the thing that makes me, what the guys go crazy for. They lose their minds, the way I wind, I think its time. La la-la la la, Warm it up. Lala-lalala, The boys are waiting." Rubidia sings, making a near scandalous approach to the bar with Sage's assistance. "I can see you're on it, you want me to teach thee techniques that freaks these boys, it can't be bought, just know, thieves get caught, watch if your smart." And she is at the bar as the music takes over from the lyrics and she finds the fellow who she performed for last time. Focusing on Leonard she dances seductively before him, holding nothing back in the temptation.

Galvin lets out a quick cheer of encouragement as Sage rings the bell. He laughs to himself and turns back to watch Rubidia's enticing dance. He follow her lead and heads in the direction of the bar, eager to keep watching the show and also wanting a new beer. He gives Leonard a quick smile as he watches the singer dance for him.

Leonard smiles to the familiar Rubidia. It seems he's finally caught the show she was advertising in the past. The ringing bell also draws his attention to Sage, but the approach of the entertainer to him promptly distracts him. Rubidia's seductive sway causes him to stop in a mixture of surprise and observation. If she hopes to gain a name for herself or a repeat audience, that certainly isn't hurting her chances. He blinks and his eyes widen, but he doesn't say anything to interrupt her performance. That, or he is merely at a loss for words.

While Sage may watch the singer's movements, she's just waiting to make sure she doesn't miss her turn with the bell to show her interest or lack thereof in the seductive movements. She does notice the person that draws the singer's attention, though. A small smile coming to her lips as Leonard is put on the spotlight a little.

The lyrics resume and Rubidia Leans in close to Leonard for their whispering finish before the chorus. "Oh, once you get involved, everyone will look this way-so, you must maintain your charm, same time maintain your halo, just get the perfect blend, plus what you have within, then next his eyes are squint, then he's picked up your scent." And bam the volume is back up and Rubidia is blindingly bright. Perhaps at Leonard's expense as she stalks off. "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, and their like it's better than yours, damn right it's better than yours, I can teach you, but I have to charge." And then in a flash, shes gone and the Nut and bolt's regular music resumes as the curtain is closed on the stage.

Galvin gestures to the bartender for another beer as he watches with wide eyes. He jumps slightly at the sudden blast of sound and squints at the blinding light coming from Rubidia. It takes him a moment to recover and figure out what happened. He claps his hands together and cheers.

The sudden and bright departure is at Leonard's expense. First, he is caught rather unawares and blinded by the flash. Second, he is blinking away afterimages during her final chorus and she is absent by the time his vision clears. He's left stunned again, yet resumes his approach of the bar. "That was ...different than what I'm accustomed to..." The statement of his obvious surprise is not directed to anyone in particular.

With waiting for the glances to signal the ringing of the bell, Sage has to look away at the flare of lights. However, the sunglasses do help keep her from being too effected compared to some others. When she recovers, she rises from her seat to wander over to Leonard. She rings the bell once. "That's probably what the hype is about..." She comments.
