It's been a busy week for Leo and Vixen. Well, for her more so, perhaps. It started with a rather large influx of hardware. Grenades, optic gear, communications gear and so forth. The things she purchased with the significant influx of credits she's had. It was a day after that she went into the KEC to get her new cybernetics installed. Routine and lacking in any scarring. The next few days she kept it light. Staying to home mostly, resting. But not inactive, taking her portable toolkit and a handful of small surveillance items to install the homemade security system.

That was finished a day ago and the software backbone is done. THough she's not yet had the great reveal. Indeed, she's been locked in the bathroom for the last hour, preparing, she said, to show off a few things.

Definitely moreso for her, but Leonard hasn't been completely inactive. Not elsewhere, at least, given that the library has held his attention for much of the week. That, and some socialization of the mystical and 'professional' sort. Not that he did not prefer to remain at home to aid her in her recuperation, but coddling is made a little more difficult when she is running about the place with tools and all her new toys. Now, he awaits her emergence, perhaps hopeful that the grand display might involve more than 'Look at what this button can do!'

The door does finally open and Vixen steps out with a casual little grin. She's got her new look on, a radical shift for her. The catsuit wasn't quite as form fitting as the bodysuit is on her, the belts and holsters made to hold her ready gear close against her and stable. She doesn't have the bag right now, but she does have a few items in hand. One of them a nice sized walkie talkie and one of them a small touch screen computer. "Have a seat if you don't got one, Leo," she says as she moves into the livingroom. "Then we can talk toys." She grins lightly.

Leonard appears to agree that this suit is more Vixen-hugging than the leather, if his very attentive, and appreciative, gaze is any indication. He seated himself on the couch during his wait, which now seems to be proven a wise choice. "...Wow... That looks /much/ more flattering than the plate. So much so that I'm not sure I'd want you to wear it in public."

Vixen laughs lowly. "You know, Leo, you don't gotta worry none," Vixen replies, moving around the couch slowly. She drops the two items next to him and places a knee on the edge between his own to lean over him a little. "Cause if anyone gets fresh with me.." She lifts a hand as she says this, lightly stroking his cheek with the tips of her fingers. Then her hand dips back and she gives a slight twist of her wrist. A snap heralds the sudden ejection of a small, almost tiny pistol from her loose sleeves. She snaps her fingers around it, having been practicing a bit over the last few days. In an instant, she's got it pointed at him. "..I'm ready."

That draws a startled trio of blinks and Leonard reflexively leans slightly, out of the immidiate line of fire. "That's supposed to make me /less/ worried?" In contrast to the lifting brows, a smile begins to spread below. "I'll remember to make a written request, first. I'm now afraid to ask, but what else do you have up your sleeve, so to speak?" You say, "Sleeves, nothing." Vixen grins a little as she leans back, her hand lifted to let the sleeve fall back, showing the wrist holster that held the weapon in place. She slowly presses it back into place with a click, then locks the lil pistol in. "But I got other stuff. Some mace spray that's seriously hardcore. The nice new whip, this bodysuit.. and other toys. But I got two things for you, babe." First thing, she picks up the walkie talkie, handing it to him."

"I didn't mean in literally, although you'd be hard pressed to conceal anything in that suit." Leonard chuckles, and his gaze lowers to check. Just in case. The sudden presence of the handheld transceiver in his hands pulls his attention back to her face, then the item, then back. "So we can keep in touch?"

"That's right, babe. A secure walkie with an earpiece in a little compartment there." She points at the spot near the bottom with a small compartment. "The material says it'll work for 96 hours straight. And it has its own scrambler, so we can transmit secure. Already got it set up to mix with mine and everything." She grins lightly.

Leonard turns the walkie over to check the indicated compartment, which unintentionally drops the earpiece into his lap. "I hope that I don't lose it. You'll need to show me how to use it, unless I can just talk and it will wrok." He turns a mildly sheepish grin to her as he carefully sets both pieces aside on the couch. "You know how talented I am with electronics."

"Don't worry, I can show you how it works," Vixen replies, laughing lightly. She picks up the other unit. "This is your control for our new security system. I have all the sensors and the video units hidden. Right now its all inactive, but you can start 'em up and turn 'em off with this." She shows him the little unit. "Here, it has a little biometric thumbpad for security. Just press against it.." She maneuvers it so he can. "And it accesses." When he does, it will change from a blank screen to one with a grid of boxes laid out. Four marked Vid, four marked UV and four marked MS. "You've got your Video mounts, your UV signalers and your motion sensors. There's a motion sensor in the livingroom, the two bedrooms and the hall, video in the same places. Got signalers at the front door, the hall and the doors to the bedrooms. Each one marked on here, so you can turn it on and off." She grins a little.

"Cameras in the bedroom?" Leonard stops short of asking if that's wise, but his mildly incredulous tone conveys as much. "I'm glad that we can selectively deactivate them... So, I suppose that this means no more sneaking out in the night or hosting parties while you're away?" Now his timbre shifts to match his wry grin.

"Leo.." Vixen looks him in the eye. "We have full control over them. We can turn them on and off whenever and I got the videos dumping onto my holographic computer. WE can trash them whenever, so ain't no worry about things." She sets the little unit down beside the walkie and lifts a hand to lightly touch his cheek. "We can have the bedroom cam off whenever. Mostly I want 'em on when we're not at home, you know? Then we got no more surprises."

Leonard's grin widens and a hand goes for her hip as the other sets the control unit down next to the radio. "I'm not truly worried, as I expect that you have everything under control. It was merely a little self-conciousness, as I don't look nearly as nice as you do in that bodysuit."

Vixen grins lightly and leans in to give Leo a little peck on the nose. "I think we should get out there and do something, babe. I've been in here too long, I think. I just wanted to give them things to you. Just make sure you turn the system on before you go out and turn it off before you come in. And in parts when we're in for the night." She grins wryly and slips up, arms lifted in a casual stretch before relaxing down again. "How about it?"

"I could use some time out of doors, myself, other than the library." Leonard admits, glancing over her new attire once more. "You will make me look atrocious by comparison, but I've no complaints." The radio is retrieved and clipped to his belt, with the earbud and control unit going into a pocket. He hasn't lost any of it yet, and hopes to keep it that way. "You've been quite busy, even while you were recuperating." That fact earns her a pointed nudge.

"I gotta do something, Leo," Vixen replies with a light grin. She steps over towards the door, where she's set her satchel bag. "I hate just lying around and getting the hardware installed wasn't a hard job, really. Nothing heavy or strenuous. Kept me sane." She turns and slips it over her shoulder, settling the bag against her back, the strap tightened to make it secure. But not before she draws out a modern looking pair of shades. "Nightvision," she notes, pointing at them. "Ain't that just the coolest fucking thing you've ever seen?" She slips them into one of the pouches at her belt that isn't filled with e-clips, binoculars or that new mace spray. She's loaded and ready for sure.

Leonard can't help but chuckle and shake his head as he stands. "Those credits burnt their way right out of your stick, didn't they. Do we need to get another wardrobe, yet?" A not entirely mild, but mirthful tease, perhaps mitigated by a hand on her shoulder. "I may know you don't break so easily, babe, but that doesn't mean I want you testing it too often. There's always that pedestal to consider, afterall. You could have accompanied me to the library if you were that bored. I doubt it would have alleviated your boredom, just changed the scenery."

"Ain't that bad, Leo," Vixen replies. Though there is that collection of ten new blinder grenades in the closet. Though two are in her bag right now. "And I still got forty kay after all that. Will be good when I get some more though so I can score some more good stuff." She smiles and extends a hand to him. "We can go to the library later. Ain't nothing wrong with books. But right now I want some noise and some booze. Maybe I'll let you convince me to try and dance a little."

"That is the best idea I've heard all week," Leonard's grin turns more genuinely pleased and he takes the lifted hand. "The booze, that is, not the library. I've had enough eye strain for the immediate future, although it was not without reward. Perhaps I could display a few of my own acquisitions, as they are, a bit later."

"Anytime, babe, I like knowing what you can do." Vixen smiles as she grips his hand and opens the door. Of course, before they leave she'll show him how to secure the new system. It's as simple as touching the right controls, each one marked intuitively. She had a mind towards making it simple and a minute after the door closes, all the signalers, sensors and cameras will be active and keeping watch while they're away. Nothing like a little peace of mind.
