It's 11 AM, and Cassius has decided to scope out a different type of club. It's still freezing cold so he has to perform indoors, looking up at the racks of lighting and at the speakers. He moves to the bar and sees their prices, just asking for the local beer. Whatever's cheap, and that gets him a look, but he looks back out across the club.

Vixen steps into the Nightingale, much set apart from the average tastefully dressed patron. And with the early hour, there aren't too many around. So a woman carting around both a satchel and a closed portable computer aren't easy to miss. The young woman moves right towards the bar first thing, lightly patting the top. "Violet Vroom. Over there." She tilts her head to the side, towards the left side of the room. She flashes the person behind the counter a grin, then looks toward Cassius, giving him a casual nod before she turns, as if to start in the direction she indicated.

Cassius huhs a small bit as he hears a voice come up next to him, looking over at Vixen he lifts a hand and waves, "hello." he offers. "Violet Vroom, what's that exactly?" he asks as he looks ove towards the direction she inditated, now he's curious... There are booths over there and as she's addressed, the young woman pauses, glancing back over her shoulder. "It's purple and it gives you energy. That's all I really need to know about it," she replies, her free hand settled on her hip. "Never asked and if they sell it here, it's probably not too bad for you.. in moderation. The same with most things, I've found."

Cassius nods and wanders back over to you, leaving his drink, he looks at the booth, "It's purple and gives you energy? That seems kinda odd, but hey, if it's good." he says and nods. The teengager tries to smile at you. "So this looks like a pretty nice club, well up on that scale"

Vixen hasn't made it over quite that far, but as cassius starts to head her way, she does finish heading towards the booths. at one she settles the portable on the table, then slips off her satchel, laying it beside. "The place is good enough to get some work done without feeling cooped up," she agrees. "A bit too sedate for my tastes.. I'd try the Alibi, but that's a long way to go in the cold for just work." She leans forward slightly, opening up the portable, then carefully drawing a hand sized video camera and a smaller handheld computer from the satchel, both items laid on top of it. Then slender data cord that she uses to start linking them all together.

Cassius nods, "I hang at the Alibi for the most part ya, but I was just wandering the streets, and I know this was another club. Not very far then? So you live close by?" he looks at the portable comp and giving a small nod to it. "hrm, what do you do for work then?" he asks since he sees the Camera etc.

Vixen lifts her eyes to regard Cassius, casually amused by her expression. "Just full of questions, aren't you? I have a room here for now, though that's temporary. As to what I do.. I freelance. Everyone will know what I do soon enough. Just have to keep an ear open." With the equipment all linked, she slips into one side of the booth, turning all three on as she draws out one more length of cord, a bit longer to link to the computer. The other side goes behind her right ear.

Cassius ahs, "ya I guess I do, I'm just feeling cooped up in the winter, I can't get out and perform outside, or in the park anything like that." he says with a shrug, "Too cold for me, and too cold for other people. Ya..." he gives a little nod. He looks at the equipment some more, curious, he watchs the long links and...click! He suddenly realizes you've jacked in, "Oh! Implants!" he says, surprised as if he didn' think of it. He might not have, considering he doesn't know anything about them.

"That's right, got a nice dose of metal in my head.. and if I had some serious cred, I'd get some more cause it is always useful," Vixen agrees, her head bobbed as she considers the passing text on the screen for a moment before glanacing at him again. "Perform, huh? Doing what? One of those.. street performers or something" She leans back slightly in her seat, eyes fixing on the screen again, her other hand shifting to open the small flip out display on the camera and tilt it such that she can see it.

Cassius nods his head, "That's a good way to describe it, street perofmer, dance, juggle, do all sorts of work like that, using a little magic, some tricks of the trade." he grins and then isn't sure how to talk to you. You're plugged in, reading text and reading the screen. He watchs as you work and what you do, curious about the whole process.

Vixen doesn't seem to be working the keys too much, just observing the screen casually, responding simply. "Mmm.. must not be too much money in that." A casual response before a waitress arrives with her drink. It is indeed a deep shade of violet. Vixen accepts it and draws out some credits to pay before she sets it to the side of the portable computer. Satisfied with the set up she shifts her back towards the back of the booth, her legs slid up to settle crossed on the corner of the table. She looks at Cassius then and arches a brow slightly. "If you're going to hang about, at least have a seat."

Cassius nods, "Ya...mabey not much, but it's fun to do..." he looks like he might actually begin to drift before you invite him to sit, "Ah right, sure." he moves to set down opposite you. Oh ya, you got the large shoulder teen looking uncomfortable. Curious about what he could ask you, thinking about it, "So what work have you had done then?"

"You mean my cyber?" Asked casually as she manipulates the portable's keyboard with her right hand, relaxing otherwise. "Oh, an ear, an eye.. a few standard odds and ends inside. I always know what time it is." Vixen grins idly, slanting a sly glance at Cassius. "What's up with you? Not looking all that comfortable. Too much starch?" Casual amusement to go along with a casual jab.

Cassius nods, "Yup...what did that feel like, getting work done, can't imagine it." he says, considering, "Ah, no, sorry, just....don't know quite what to say. I think I'm just asking too forward a question. Well you havn't slapped me yet so I guess that's a good sign"

Vixen laughs at that. "Forward would be asking my cup size, man. Asking about my cyber is casual talk," she states. "As to what it felt like, couldn't tell you. I was out for it.. I don't imagine getting my head cut into and having an eye removed would be all that pleasant if I wasn't sleeping through it." Not that you could tell, given that she looks perfectly normal as she eyes Cassius with open amusement. Nor does talking about the potentially gruesome details seem to bother her either.

Cassius nods, "That would be forward wouldn't it..." course that's suddenly what he's thinking about, and if your quick there is that half look down and then back up. Though it's quick, and he hopes unnoitced, he winces slightly at that, "ya...that part is a little rough." he for the most part looks totally natural, as in 100 percent, "Does sound pretty grusome, though if you're happy with it, guess that's all you can ask for"

The close fitting leather Vixen wears holds few secrets of a general nature. She's modest in that department, though his looking only seems to amuse her more. "If you want gruesome, look at a full conversion. Or a damn juicer for that matter." She snorts faintly. "That's seriously fucked up right there." Her eyes flick back to the computer and she gives it a few quick commands before glancing at Cassius again. "So what's your word?"

Cassius offers a faint shrug of his shoulder, "Just some kid that's in the big city." he laughs. "Been here 6 months or so, I guess I'm doing all right. Signed up with a circus, but we broke up when we got caught in the juicer war, killed half of the performers, so we just....split up. I took my share and came here to try and find a good place to perform."

"Not quite what I meant," Vixen says. "But interesting. I'd offer you something, but I do voice and video, mostly, Not live acts." She then notes, "Your word is what you'd say to people at large, if given the chance." She reaches over to casually pick up the camera and point it at Cassius. "So what is it? Imagine you've got the whole city watching you.. what've you got to say to 'em all?" The recording light on the camera flicks on then, Vixen's eyes dipping to watch the smaller version of Cassius in the flipped out screen.

Cassius blinks, that's surprising to him, and for a moment he does balk, half a beat and then he catchs it. It is obvious he's got acting experiance and he smiles and nods to the Camera, "To all of Kingsdale? It's be able to be surprised. We all have expectations, we all think we know everything, well...be opened to be surprised." he raises his hand, blowing lightly into his palm as he begins to work a cantrip, summoning fire into his palm, and a fire horse rears, bucks up, and "runs" up into the air and out of the camera before dissapting. Waiting to see if that's good enough.

Vixen's brows lift slightly at the display. Amused just a bit, though she does pan the camera up just slightly as the horse runs upward out of frame. "Huh.. guess that's good enough," she says then, grinning at Cassius as she ends recording and carefully sets the camera back down on the satchel. "Maybe the whole city will end up seeing it.. or at least as many get interested in what I have to offer."

Cassius nods, "Well that's what I do, I mean...I perform and I use magic in my performing. Trying to use it for entertainment, it's somthing different I think, and I'm skilled at it." he smiles. Looking at the camera he nods, "Cool"

"Well, as long as you like it, that's all well and good then," Vixen replies. "Me, all I have is voice and mind. And a healthy dose of the right hardware." She slips her fingers into her coat, casually pulling out a sticker. One that might be familiar as matching the many that have been scattered around town as of late. "Like I said, keep an ear out." She flicks the sticker towards Cassius' side of the table lightly. "Me, I plan to make a name for myself.. got plenty of plans, just have to collect the cred to make it happen. It always hinges on money and I've spent enough of it to set up as it is."

Cassius nods his head, "Ya money I've been saving my creits, and taking what I earn and just...ya you know." he gives a tiny bob of his head, looking over to you again, "so sorry I guess...uh. I don't know your nam,e I'm casius." he offers his hand to you.

"Vixen," said young woman replies, reaching out to take the hand, giving a brief, firm shake. "What are you going to do with those credits? Collecting yourself a pile is one thing, but knowing what you're going to do with it after that.. that's the real issue." She smirks faintly, picking up her drink with her left hand, raised to take a light sip of the contents.

Cassius nods, "for the most part Im trying to save up for my studies, or mabey even to make my own kinda...you know...my own performing troup, right now I'm just on my own I got nothing now. No group, no ocllection":

"When all you got us you, you gotta make due," Vixen quoth. "You're shooting pretty high, might want to try for something more.. realistic," she suggests. It's 11 AM and the Nightingale is a bit on the empty side. The night times are the party times, but there are a few lingering about for a nip or a talk. Vixen and Cassius are settled apart from each other at a booth on the left side of the room. She has a portable computer, camera and handheld computer laid out on her side, all three linked via data cords and a last one linking the computer to a spot behind her right ear. She's leaned back into the back of the booth, her feet kicked up on the far corner of the table and a violet hued drink in hand. "Not sure what that is, though.. don't know much about performance art."

Cassius nods his head, "Well circus, you can think of it that way,, though I did use some good dancing. I'm a very good dancer." he smiles, "Doing several styles of it...uh, havn't gotten a job doing that yet though." he takes a breath and phews. "I'm a good boxer, surprsingly, but I'm not like one of these armored adventures that are walkng around here" [Public] The dark side Renos says, "back"

Que Tirzah, walking in, pausing at the entrance to spot her party and continuing to meet them. She walks up to the fairly central table with a relaxed smirk, the four gentlemen seated there adjusting their seats to let her in. Chatting with them in a friendly demeanor she makes her introductions and gets caught up while waiting for a server.

"Pity, you can make a lot of creds that way," Vixen points out. "Not much for fighting myself, but that's how i got enough capital to get my gig started." She lifts the glass again to take another healthy draught before the glass is laid aside. "Though I guess for me it's more an option cause that sort of stuff will play right into my gig. You can get plenty of camera fodder out where these little adventures send you. Don't always have to pull a weapon, but I'm trained for when it comes to that." Cassius nods his head, "Now that it's cold I was thinking about dancing again, just thinking about it since I'm unable to perform outside." he thinks a little bit, "And you're gonna get a radio station started, going ot have...a good gig right with that?" he asks, turning to see Tirzah sit down.

The server doesn't take long to arrive with it being quiet and all. She orders scotch neat and the gentleman seem to find that a bit amusing. To which she smirks and makes a joking retort, and gets more laughter. She seems to be slipping right into making a good rapport with the men in their suits. The idle chat continues for a bit, no rush it seems.

The server doesn't take long to arrive with it being quiet and all. Tirzah orders scotch neat and the gentleman seem to find that a bit amusing. To which she smirks and makes a joking retort, and gets more laughter. She seems to be slipping right into making a good rapport with the men in their suits. The idle chat continues for a bit, no rush it seems.

Vixen devotes a few moments to her computer, leaning forward just a bit to do some quick work, with it, starting it on another task. "That's the plan. Though that's just the base.. I have other ideas. One already in the works that may well provide for a nice profit." She glances at him then and notes his own distraction. Glancing towards where Tirzah sits with several men. A casual grin comes to her as she relaxes again and states, "Never can put all your eggs in one basket. Always have fall backs.. back up cause nothing ever goes perfect."

Cassius nods his head, "Well it was nice to meet you. I hope I'll see you later, and...I'll listen for you." he gives a small salute and stands up. "So have a nice day." he appears as if he's going to head out

The scotch is delivered moments later and Tirzah gives is a swirl in the tumbler thoughtfully as the conversation turns to business. her expression remains calm though the smirk has been dismissed as the expressions of the men get serious. The appear to be making a case for her to consider. She listens patiently giving the occasional nod, though one comment gets a lazy glare and a brief shake of her head. The gentleman who gave it looks slightly embarrassed while the other three try to help him recover. Finally taking a reserved sip she replies, though it doesn't close the matter. Apparently she's thinking about it.

Vixen glances towards Cassius as he decides to depart, a hand lifted in a casual little flicker of fingers at him. A light amusement lingers after he's gone. She glances towards where Tirzah is before her head cocks slightly and she focuses a little. Whilst they talk, she works on her computer, though most of that work involves brief moments of keyboard work followed by periods of relaxed drink sipping as she lets the machine work.. and guides it through her headjack. Paying just a little attention to the nearby talk, though not enough to draw in too many details.

After a few moments of consideration Tirzah takes another sip and gives a slight nod. Received by obvious appreciation by the men. But giving them a firm look she lays down some terms. "Not exclusive. First come first serve, which would be you." Apparently those terms came in reply to the one gentleman's remarks as he loses further face, but the others seem amicable to the the successful agreement. One writes down some information on a card and slides it over to her and she nods simply. Taking another sip of her scotch the conversation becomes more relaxed, though now focusing on the ideas they have to counter the arcane.

Vixen smirks faintly as the deal is closed nearby, her relaxed posture abandoned as she sits up, both hands applied to the keyboard of her computer. Moving rapidly across them, the tip of her tongue poking out from between her lips as she rapidly records a block of text. Seeming pleased enough with the results, she keys the machine to begin shutting down, head tilting as she reaches back to draw the plug from her headjack. "Gold," she murmurs lightly as she starts removing the various cords from her gear, packing things up.

The conversation shifts to recreational pursuits, and Tirzah smirks, nodding to indicate she is open to invitations of that nature. Which leads to a few more plans and laughs before the gentlemen decide its time to move on for now. She bids them adeau with a comfortable smile as she takes another sip of her drink. Then alone she takes a moment to survey thew quiet establishment. Seeing if there is any reason to linger after her drink.

Vixen will have her possessions packed up by the time they leave, portable set to the side with her satchel on top. A new dark violet drink is in hand, already drained of a third of it's contents. She glances over towards Tirzah then, her voice lifted in a casual, "Got big business going?" She has her legs up, feet propped up on the opposite bench of the booth, though she's settled deep in enough that it doesn't prevent another from sitting.

Tirzah looks over to Vixen at her question and shrugs with a light smirk. She considers raising her voice for the reply but decides joining her would be better for the other patrons. Sitting down she runs the deal over once more in her head. "Depends on your definition of big I guess. Possibly a few thousand credits." She replies as she slips the card thay gave her into her pocket. "I've seen signs your set up already." She notes, curious.

"Ready to broadcast, but hoping for a better set up," Vixen confirms. "Working through video for my first PDD. There's a lot you can find when it comes to recording around the city each day. Though if I get enough capital, I won't have to do that so much." She grins at that and pauses, considering the woman across from her. She glances to the side slightly, laying her drink down as she fishes her video camera back out from her coat pocket.

Tirzah nods and takes another sip of her scotch, unsure what else to say for a moment. "How'd that footage from the encounter turn out?" She enquires, mildly curious.

"So far, so good," Vixen replies. "Though more important, I think is this question. What is your word?" And this time she's quick to explain as she flips on the camera, opening the viewscreen on the side so she can pointed Tirzah's way. "Meaning, if you could tell the city one thing.. something nice and brief, what would it be? If, say, everyone was listening." The recording light comes on then.

Tirzah is caught off guard by that for a second, pausing. But then a sly smirk comes to her face. "If I could tell the city one thing hmm? In that case I'd like to remind the city, that though there are tens of thousands of us here, we're all individuals. We all have a story to tell with ambitions and goals and hardships, though no two are the same. So when you see someone, slip out of the faceless monotony, remember they have a story too, what's your role in it?" She offers, liking that but not feeling done. Patiently she looks to Vixen to see her reaction.

Vixen seems amused by it. Lightly so as her head bobs and she closes up the flip out screen, stopping the recording. "A bit long, but alright." The small device carefully slid back into her pocket then. "Though that makes me wonder.. what part did you play in the story of that woman in the Dregs? You know, the one with the info?" Her expression remains one of straightforward, if still amusement tinged curiosity.

Tirzah shrugs, not really bothered by the question if she should be. "I played the part she wanted me to play, as it was the only one she could accept from a stranger completely alien to her and her way of life. The others had some noble words to say to her. but they lacked perspective. She had no desire for being noble or doing the right thing. Nor did she need to be a target possessing that others including herself, often lack. She just wanted a small measure of security in knowing where her meals would come from for the next little while."

Vixen snorts faintly. "Yeah.. preaching to Dregs dwellers.. some people just don't know how to talk to anyone when it comes to convincing them to do something for you," she murmurs, her amusement level rising. "Does that guy with the horse always act like he's trapped in some kinda storybook? You seem to know him, anyways."

Tirzah smirks, finding Vixens lack of experience amusing. "If I were you I'd get to like that side of him. It is the better side, from my experience." She offers candidly before taking a thoughtful sip of her scotch. "I'd tell you about our conversation last night for comparison, but its not appropriate for younger viewers." She notes with a grin.

"I don't lack experience, chick, "Vixen states. "And I may be young, but I'm not virginal. That side of him is useful.. as long as he learns to keep his mouth shut when it comes to negotiations. Looks good to put up front in a firefight, though." Her shoulders roll and she adds, "Tell me or don't, no skin off my nose." She picks up her drink then and takes another casual sip. "Just don't assume that I'm stupid or foolish. Remember, I have a story too."

Tirzah smirks, finding Vixens lack of experience amusing. "If I were you I'd get to like that side of him. It is the better side, from my experience." She offers candidly before taking a thoughtful sip of her scotch. "For example last night I ask him for some sexual advice. We dated for a bit, and was notably more experienced so he was the ideal person to ask before exploring something new with another. Even though he left me because he really loves another, pretty much the whole ordeal revolved around his lame passes." She offers, wondering if that paints a fuller picture.

"I suppose that side of him could be useful.. in a firefight. But when it comes to negotiations, he's the last I'd lean on.. unless he's talking to someone else who is more like him than me.. and nine times out of ten, the Dregs ain't the place for that," Vixen states. She then arches a brow slightly. "Guess you do know him," she adds, her amusement level rising once more. She then shrugs. "What good is getting a cheat sheet to sex? Half the fun is learning how to do it yourself."

Tirzah snickers, mostly agreeing. "To a point, and for the most part I did, with him. But my new partner is a little more shy about expressing herself and showing what she likes. Still has the adorable embarrassment. Which I don't want to lose yet. Which means I have to be the experienced ones, which meant when she told me she ordered a toy catalogue, I had some catching up to do." She explains.

"She? You talked to a guy about being with a girl?" Vixen a bit incredulous at this. "I take it back, you probably didn't learn enough to remove the mystery. The last one you go to with advice in that is a guy." The day remains amusing for her, a pause taken to sip from her violet libation before she continues on, "Who says you have to be experienced anyway? If she's shy, all you have to do is be bold. That don't take learning, that's natural. Just jump in.. you know what you like. That means you know what roughly what she likes. The rest will hash itself out."

Tirzah nods, smiling as she follows her reply and doesn't give an inch. "Yes, and in order for me to be bold, confident, I have to know what a dildo is." She states boldly. "Even better I should know what features are desirable when shopping for one, know at least what I like, so I might transpose it to what she likes." She replies comfortably before taking a swallow of her scotch.

"He knows what is desirable when shopping for one?" Vixen's question, given a sly and even more amused lean. Enough that the concept in her mind prompts her to emit a brief laugh. "Good to know.. good to know." She exercises some control, pulling back her amusement a bit until she's calmed down again. "I suppose you are new to the game.. but then we all were once, you know?"

Tirzah shrugs, accepting that she's still new. "He knows what one is, has bought some, used some with girls before, even himself. And considering he was the only person I felt comfortable asking about that out of the blue, I didnt have a lot of options. I take what I can get." She states confident in her decision and how things played out. She did find out what she needed to know after all.

Vixen smirks a little at the 'used on himself' part. Some things you just have to remember. "I suppose.. though try and do better next time.. gotta be some chicks you know that can give you good advice. Hell, just ask me. Yeah, maybe you don't know me, but what reason would I have to steer you wrong? None.. yet." The last a casual jest. "And while I may be young, I've played around my fair share in recent years."

Tirzah peers at Vixen, considering her carefully. Did she really want Vixen to play that role? Well maybe if she did Tirzah would be more than a source of excitement for her camera. "Alright, you're on. How about you come shopping with me for the actual selection?" She offers, interested to see how far Vixen would go with this.

Vixen nods without batting an eye. "Sure, alright. Just have to see what places still exist around here. Been a few years since I left and things change. But there are always good spots to pick up toys. And everyone has there private stash." She winks slyly, then pulls the satchel towards herself. "For now I have some final work to do. Gear don't set itself up and sadly it don't fix itself either. Can't let technical glitches ruin the big day, can I?"

Actually Tirzah has that covered. Pulling the card Sage gave her she shows it to Vixen so she can copy the information. "This is the place." She states simply, her tone confident.

Vixen leans over a little to eyeball the card for a moment. "I remember the place.. not too bad." She glances at Tir then and wonders, "Not taking your 'she' along with?" A casual question before she slips herself to the side, rising up and pausing to adjust her bag. A brief thing followed up by her dragging the portable to the edge of the table.

Vixen snaps up her own drink, draining he last of it in smooth swallow before she plants it on the table firmly. "Sure, sure. I have a room here, so if you need to find me, just look me up," she says. The portable is lifted, her free hand rising to waggle fingers at Tirzah. "Maybe I can show you my stash." She turns then to start away.

Tirzah nods to the departing.. friend? Maybe, well she wouldn't show her stash to just anyone. Though Tirzah still felt something was missing. Maybe it was something she hadn't done, not Vixen. Or maybe she just didn't trust someone who saw the world through the lens of the camera easily. Regardless she was certain her stash would be better than Sebastiens, so that was a start.
