Jan 26 15:09:34 107 PA - A brief house call
From Chronicles
Logfile from Rifts.
The current game time is: Thu Jan 26 15:09:34 107 PA. Happy Days Inn - Erica's Room
This is a lovely hotel room at the Happy Days Inn. Just a small tidy bed in the corner of the room while the rest of the room is covered in armor and weapons. It looks like Erica has quite a collection of equipment and has them laid out on the table with a cleaning and maintence kit next to it. This room looks like it belongs in a military dorm more then a hotel room. Three sets of armor take up one wall while a large jetpack takes up the only chair in the room.

Erica is still a little pale after her pout with the magical sickness. She took a little walk, but it took a lot more out of her then she expected. Knowing that Sage has some abilities to heal and help Erica out. She went looking for Sage at Tirzah's not finding her there she limped home exhausted and radioed Sage to come over to help her out if possible.
Having had checking in on Erica on her mind once she roused from resting after the exhausting hunt, Sage may not have fully recovered but enough that she should be able to help some. It takes her a bit to arrive at the hotel room. A simple knocking at the door announces her presence.
Erica takes a little bit of time to walk the door and answer it. She is still paler then normal for sure and there are still some heavy bags under her eyes. She opens the door and offers Sage a warm, but weak smile. "Hi there. I'm really sorry about bothering your Sage. I just thought you might help me recover a bit. I don't know what to do with myself around here all the time."
Looking a little tired herself, Sage offers a soft smile to Erica when she answers. Her gaze runs over the other woman's features with a concerned look. "Hey... I guess it was rough on you being sick that long. Tirzah seemed to sleep well enough once we got to back to the flat I shared with Cali." She comments before moving to enter the room. "So... how's the soreness?" She asks, "And, I have feeling I know some of the damage done from my diagnosis from that other time... imagine its got a little worse." She looks around the apartment to consider her options for space.
Erica rubs her back at the mention of the soreness. "Oh god my back and chest are killing me. All that coughing really made my muscles ache. They are still hurting bad. My ribs hurt too." She says as she slowly walks over to a chair, each step making her wince. "I mean all my symptoms are gone but all that coughing and vomiting did a number on my system. "I lost a bunch of weight. I want to get back in the gym so I don't lose my edge, but I can barely move right now."
Sage nods faintly as the other woman replies to her inquiries as if the answer was expected. "There's bound to be a little muscle strain from those violent reactions." She replies simply, "And, I'm glad you're feeling better now. But, you better be eating something to keep your energy up or you'll just wind up on the gym mat too tired to move." She says with a hint of teasing near the end. She carries with her a bag that seems to be part of a kit. She hms softly as she comes to kneel before the other woman when she sits on the chair. "I can likely heal the main bits of damage that thing did to you... but, I imagine the sore muscles may be something to be soaked in a tub or perhaps massaged out. And, I can probably make up a brew to keep the discomfort at bay until you're right again."
Erica smiles warmly down at Sage as she nods her head slowly. "Oh I've been eating a lot. Not eating for a couple days will give you quite the appitite. And I've been drinking lots of fluids too. I certainly don't want to end up back in the hospital. I just don't want to lose any muscle. That stuff is hard to get back. I don't mind gaining back the weight. I'm not that silly." She giggles softly as she reaches out and picks up a glass of yellow juice that she takes a sip of. "Other then that you know better then me. I'll follow your instructions."
A faint look of amusement comes into Sage's expression as the other woman responds to her light tease. "Then make sure you get some protein in your system... you'll get the most out of your exercises then." She comments, before pulling out some pouches and a mortar and pestle. She purses her lips as she looks up at the other woman. "In that case, I shall give you some tasks to do while I meditate." She comments, before she begins to use certain amounts of herbs from each pouch to put into the mortar. Once done, she'll set the mortar and pestle to one side. She takes out a small vial from her bag before tucking it into her pocket. "Grind up the contents of that mortar as fine as you can..." She gestures to the mortar and pestle before moving into a seated position on the floor and closing her eyes to begin meditating.
Erica laughs softly and nods her head. "Yah I've been having eggs and sausage lately, also lots fiber and fruit." She mentions while picking up the mortar and pestle. She stops talking as she notices that you started meditating, and she starts working away at the herbs. She seems to be not bad at grinding having done it before but with chemicals as opposed to herbs.
There will be enough time for Erica to grind away at the herbs as it takes a while for Sage to gather her energies just like that time in the sparring ring. When her eyes open, Sage gives a soft smile. "Let me see..." She says softly, reaching up with one hand. Once she's able to take the mortar and pestle back, she trace her hand across the woman's torso around the midsection to her healing energies flow into the other woman. It may not heal everything, but it'll likely help the body's knitting process towards a more fully mended state. "There..." She comments, "Let me know if you need me to do so again..."
Erica returns Sage's smile with a smile of her own as she hands over the mortar and pestle. Erica gasps softly as she feels that healing energy flow through her. Her eyes widen for a moment but just as quick as it came the energy went away, but Erica is obviously healthier with much more color to her face. "Oh I think that should do it Sage. I feel tons better already. You really are the best."
When the other woman responds to the feeling of her healing energies, Sage begins to rise from where she sits. She sets aside the mortar and pestle off to the side. "I'm glad." She replies before raising a brow faintly, "Does that mean the sorness has gone away as well?" She asks softly, "And, do you think you will need the brew?" It may have just been a way to keep Erica busy, after all.
Erica stretches back and forth in her chair testing out her muscles and ribs. "Well actually I think it is pretty much all gone. I think I can make due. It might return in a bit, but I think I'm pretty good to go." Smiling softly down at Sage she reaches out and pats Sage affectionatly on the shoulder. "Thank you so much. I promise I'll try to take it east."
Watching the other woman test out her body's slightly more mended state, Sage nods simply to the response. "I guess you won't need need that massage or soaking in the tub after all then." She replies with a hint of amusement, before she considers the other woman. "Oh, you'll probably give a good show of taking it easy... but you'll be up to mischief before long I suspect. Just no mysterious illnesses, okay?" She reaches out to give the other woman a quick tickle. Assuming there's no retaliation, she'll begin to gather the things she brought back together.
Erica giggles softly at the tickle and holds up her hands in mock surrender. "I will try to take it easy. Not my fault I get caught up in things." She offers Sage a quick wink before standing up and holding the door open for the other woman.
