Having settled into a seat at an empty table now that the Arena fans have cleared out after the big match has come to a close with sour muttering and jubiliant chatter from the two different fan bases. Sage sips lightly on a hot chocolate and considers the simple wrap meal before her. She has a thoughtful set to her features.

From the icy exterior comes Vixen, shoving the door open with a firm push. A pause once she does, scanning the interior with a careful sweep of her eyes. A little grin rises as the warmth inside lures her in and, as the door swings closed behind her she starts to loosen up her armored duster even as she's moving inward. "Cute," she murmurs idly, pausing after a handful of steps in, eyes dipped to finish releasing her coat's fasteners.

Tirzah walks into the deli past the lingerer up to the counter, ordering a mocha and nachos, extra beef. She patiently waits there for her order, turning to see how else is in. spotting Sage she smiles. "Heya." She greets, warmly. "Any plans tonight?"

Vaguely aware of the new people that have arrived, Sage seems content for the moment to enjoy her food. When a familiar voice reaches her ears, she rouses herself from her thoughtfulness. "Hey..." She says softly, before a questioning look coming into her eyes. "What's tonight...?" She asks, unsure of what the other woman has in mind.

Vixen glances to the side slightly as Tirzah moves past her, but is in little hurry as she slips a hand into her satchel, drawing out a small, but high tech video camera, which she holds in her right hand, left drawing a slender cord from within her sleeve to link to the camera itself. A matching length of cord runs from behind her right ear, down under the collar of her coat. With her gear primed, she steps up to the counter, panning the camera about slowly without looking at the viewfinder. The lens will pass over Sage casually, then back as Tirzah gets her food. ONce it's her turn, Vixen lowers the camera and considers briefly before ordering a goodly sized beef noodle soup and crackers with a canned soda. The short wait for the food isn't wasted, her head turning, eyes flicking across the people who linger about.

Tirzah shrugs and turns back to collect her food and take it over to the table. "Some pro bono stuff. Met a guy, seems to know a thing about demons and possession. I agreed to help him catch one of the folks who looses there sense in the fog to get an analysis. Get the details. Could use you I think, your psychic talents could offer more insights to the odd behavior. You up for some catch and release?" She asks, placing the nachos in the center of the table, inviting Sage to have some if she likes.

A quizzical look comes onto Sage's face when she notices the woman that seems to be looking around the place and she doesn't recognize the woman. Her attire a little different, but she looks back to her redhead friend when she explains the situation. A brow raising faintly, "Where are you thinking of going to find those people?" She asks softly, letting the nachos sit where they are for now.

Vixen cocks her head slightly, turning her hand sized camera towards Tirzah and Sage discreetly. Just a bit after Sage's response, the soup comes and she turns around, picking up the light tray. She takes it right over to the table the other two are at, camera slid into her pocket by the time she's arrived. "Hey there, babes. Got room for a third?" The words given with a relaxed tone and a matching grin. "Might make a new face feel less alone."

Tirzah gives the new girl and her outfit a more than brief glance. Smiling warmly though she scooches over and nods. "I dont see why not. I'm Tirzah." She greets openly before taking at nacho. "Chip? Help yourself. I xan never finish a plate of these." She notes bemused.

When the conversation gets interrupted by the new woman approaching them, Sage's gaze drifts over to fall upon the woman. A very faint raising of her brow at the use of 'babes', but it merits only a half-smile from her instead of a comment one way or the other. "Feel free." She comments softly, "I'm Sage.." She offers, before looking over to her redhead friend. With no answer imminent, she takes a bite out of her wrap to chew.

Vixen sets her tray down lightly before lightly nudging out one of the spare chair with her tone before settling in and scooting herself back up to the table. "Works for me," she replies. Though she has to tend to the soup first before it might get too cool. "Just call me Vixen. And don't let me interrupt nothing." She'll tuck into her soup then, eating with a casual set of modest table manners.

Tirzah nods and turns back to Sage to answer her question. "Vyvian suggested we do it by the hospital so we have facilities to take them for the analysis. Not the best neighborhood but I have to agree with her strategy. Discretion will be advised, we don't want to run into the wrong sorts out there." She explains after finishing her chip. The she goes for another, heaping with peppers. While looking over Vixen once more. "Vixen, nice to meet you." She says with a smile.

A brow raises as the lizard woman is mentioned and a pursing of her lips as the hospital is mentioned. Sage had been to the hospital once, but she hasn't been one to make a habit of visiting. "I see..." She replies, "Would be risky... but I suppose just being outside around that time is a risk in itself." She tries to think through whether she would like to be part of the group. On an impulse, her mind reaches out to her friend's to whisper gently within it << And, do I get anything if I help? >> An undertone of playfulness touching her mental tone. She glances towards the other woman at the table, "Yes, nice to meet you..." She pauses, "... are you new to the city?"

Vixen listens to what is said as she tends to her soup, doing so with an open level of hunger in the lack of a casual slowness to it. Her attention shifting to Tirzah, soup shoveling paused as she nods her head once to her. "Can be more often than not," she jests casually before nodding to Sage's question. "Just arrived today. Though not really new in a way, I guess. Been away for years. Heard the Coalition was getting riled up.. seemed a good time to come back." A roguish grin coming up at that. "Looking for someone?" A casual question tossed in before she reaches towards the nachos to select a chip and dig out a sizable portion of the mix atop it. Gets a smear on her lips eating it, but nothing a pass with a napkin doesn't fix.

Tirzah snickers at Sage, considering her answer. Focussing her thought into a reply for Sage to read she grins. << My gratitude, redeemable for many more nights of fudge and other indulgences, and the good feeling that you made an effort to help solve a problem. >> Then replying to the spoken part she shrugs. "We'll take extra steps to avoid being too noticeable, the fog is a double edged blade. It may take a bit for us to find one, but if we find trouble it should be easy enough for us to slink off." She states calmly, quite confident in her ability to plan. Then turning to Vixen she shrugs. "No one in particular. The fog at night seems to have the trait to cause some to loose their senses. I've been asked to help catch one so we might make a better diagnosis." She explains calmly.

In response to Tirzah's thought, Sage leaves on impressions that resembles a mix of emotions but she doesn't seem to form any words in the woman's mind. She glances to Tirzah before looking to the new woman. She lets her gaze drop before she looks back up to them. "I may be able to help make it easier to find one." She says softly, feeling her potential role in this exhibit settle upon her. "They... may be a jagged barb of emotions..." She comments, before offering a faint shrug. To let herself mull it over, she takes another bite from her wrap.

"Really?" Vixen sounding interested by such a thing. Thought provoking for the young woman, it seems. She leans back a little and slips a hand down, picking out the camera that she slid into her pocket. "Sounds like it could use documenting to me," she opines with a casual grin. "Heard some talk about some kinda fog, but haven't been here a night yet." She glances at Sage then and considers her words. "Mind powers?" A casual guess as she holds the camera in one hand, resuming her soup sipping with the other.

Tirzah nods, to confirm Vixens questioning opener. But gives her a sly look at the documentation. "That will be up to Jax I guess. He's the expert on possession and such so he will be the one most suited to document the findings. We will be in a hospital, I'm sure Vyvian will ask some support staff to help us with procedure and such." She offers, wondering if Vixen had a different sort of documentation in mind. "And that was along my lines of thinking Sage, that and you healing abilities you might be able to catch it if its not as demonic as Jax suggests." She notes with a grin to her friend before helping herself to a cheesy cluster of chips.

When it seems like the Tirzah has the answers covered for now, Sage is content to take another small bite from her wrap to pass the time while she waits for an indication that she has something to add. She does give a sidelong look to the new woman at the use of 'mind powers.' A slight frown forming on her features. She wonders if this is yet another woman that would see her in a negative light for simply being herself. Her attention shifts back to Tirzah. A brow raising, "Healing?" She asks softly, as if wondering what that might have to do with the strange behaviour in the fog.

Vixen dosen't seem to put a negative lean on the question. More curious than anything else, though that seems common for her. But when no immediate answer seems forthcoming, she appears to let it slide "Unless he's good with a camera, won't be that good a record," Vixen puts in. "Me, I'm good with one. Got my own little video editing suite as well. Could make you a little PDD if you wanted to distribute it. Since if you hit gold, I figure you're not just going to sit on the info.. right?" Her brows lifting slightly at the end note, her eyes lingering on Tirzah.

Tirzah hadnt really considered it, and shrugs unable to discount that. "You have a point, but its not really my call I don't think. I'm just the guide. No harm if you should show up though I guess, then we can all decide." She offers diplomaticly. She was mostly wary about bringing a stranger whom she had no grasp of her experience, but the same could be said for Jax. So the best course is to leave the case open and see if everyone plays nice. "If you do come though, don't go out of your way to document something that's not there. First impressions can be dicey, if there is documentation it need to be objective." She notes before smiling at Sage. "There is the possibility that the symptoms are not supernatural in nature. If so maybe you can recognize them and fight them." She offers with a smile.

When there's no negative vibes detected from the new woman, Sage seems to let the topic drop for the time being since her friend had already hinted that the answer to the other woman's question was a yes. "It is entirely possible that there might not be anything... visual to record aside from restraining a person acting strangely." She notes simply, "But, I suppose there would only be one way to find out." She adds with a faint shrug, not feeling possessive enough of the outings running to feel strongly one way or the other about this woman coming along. "Assuming things go well." She pauses before looking over to her friend more directly. "Possibly... but, things would seem to point to supernatural." She notes, taking up her hot chocolate to sip on lightly.

Vixen laughs lightly, lifting the hand held camera to train it casually on Tirzah. "The lens don't lie, it shows what it sees and no more, no less." A credo of sorts, so easily it comes from her lips. She also nods to Sage. "Maybe something, maybe nothing. Kinda how life usually is. I'll show and tag along. Don't figure it'll be hard for you folks to handle whatever is going on. Me, I'll just see what's to be seen. Maybe have a little something to pass out. Or I'll just have some space to clear on my camera's memory." She slips the camera away again and resumes enjoying her soup, having moved too close to tepid during the talk.

Tirzah shrugs, knowing that is highly likely. "You're right, I just like to keep an open mind of possibilities." She notes with a smirk before helping herself to a particularly beef chip. "Yeah that's true Vixen. And dont take this the wrong way. its not about you, but reporters. They sometimes get particular about showing the whole story. I just dont want this to come out in a bad light if an accident happens. We're going out to see if we can help, not get scrutinized. And I'm probably a little paranoid, but its best I'm open about it. I hope you prefer that." She offers, really needing to know Vixen better to trust her.

A faint nod is given by Sage as the new woman concedes that there may or may not be anything to capture on video. She purses her lips as she hears the conversation unfold before sipping on her hot chocolate once more. "If you do come..." She speaks, glancing towards the reporter. "Remember that its a dangerous place even without the fog... and with the odd ways people are acting, I doubt they'd care about being caught on camera no matter what they ended up doing." She has heard rumours and some of them seeming quite plausible. She, of course, isn't sure she's particular happy about venturing into that part of town herself. Yet, her friend has already put herself in danger on her account already.

Vixen smirks and shakes her head. "I'm freelance.. got my own plans once I get some gear together. Keep an ear out and you might get a listen in." She doesn't seem to take much offense, her shoulders given a shrug. "I let my work speak for me." She then gives Sage a casual smile and states, "Been out wandering for a while. Got what I need to stay safe, though the only shooting I plan is through the viewfinder. Not much of a fighter, but if it comes down to it, I'm trained."

Tirzah nods appeased with that for now and then looks to Sage, remembering the beating her armor took on the trip. "If you're not comfortable Sage, don't feel obligated, this is what I do, not you. So if you have any reservations about that let me know and we'll make do." She offers, her tone compassionate.

Pauses as a thought occurs to her as Sage looks to the new woman, with the thoughts about defending oneself from danger in the Dregs. "Do you do any publicity stories?" She asks, before looking between the other two women with an apologetic look for seemingly grabbing a topic out of thin air. Her gaze pauses on her friend. "Where else would you find someone that can do what I can?" She asks softly, considering her friend with a look that suggests mixed emotions on the matter.

Vixen finishes off her soup with a lift of the bowl, not showing hesitation in getting the last bit before it's set down and she takes up the used napkin to dab her lips. Sage's question gets a casual grin. "Well, right now I don't. But once I get some proper equipment, I can." She leans back a little, seeming satisfied for now. Her eyes flitting between the two at the table before she states, "I'm going to start a broadcast. Radio. Nothing fancy, but I figure the place is due for a little new talk. And while I'm at it, make video PDDs to distribute. I figure some businesses here might do for that.. give 'em a little cut for some shelf space."

Tirzah shakes her head at Sage, smiling demurely. "I cant. But I know your armor get pretty beat up on the trip. I dont want you to put you in a situation you're uncomfortable with." She explains carefully. "But I would really appreciate your help. So I'm a bit torn. Stupid feelings." She notes with a smirk before considering Vixen. A new radio station would be nice, providing better music and keeping us informed." She notes with a smile.

Faint disappointment is directed at the reporter when Sage looks over to the other woman, "How long will that be?" She asks, deciding to see if there's a chance she might be able to use this woman for a particular event. She nods to the other comments about the woman's intention. She doesn't have much knowledge of that particular business, so she doesn't have much to speak about in that regard. She glances back to Tirzah, offering a faint shrug. "It wasn't hard to get it repaired." She comments, before smiling wryly. "At least it proved to be better than my original suit of armor..." She may not be sitting here right now if it had been the other armor. << I could always demand a high price from you if things go bad... >> She notes mentally, her mental tone with a hint of teasing. She hides her musing by lifting the mug to cover up her face as she sips from the mug.

Vixen smirks idly, drawing out her camera again, casually inspecting it with a critical eye. "Better music is pure opinion. More looking to give the underdogs a place to strut their stuff. Maybe help 'em get a place to sell some PDDs." Her expression goes a little sly as she adds, "Get a little gratuity if they snag onto the big time." Her eyes lift, flitting towards Sage at her question. "Depends how long 'til I get a place to set up. The gear probably won't take long.. but I don't think broadcasting out of the Happy Days Inn will work. NOt for me at least. Something more.. lasting, though I don't got enough to get no property." She shrugs her shoulders again. "Won't take much space, just a room."

Tirzah grins at Sage. "Well then I'll try twice as hard to keep the repair bill down to a minimum." She promises before taking a long swallow from her mocha. She doesnt have much more to say on the radio so instead she just listens while working on her steadily depleting pile of nachos. Will be another long run about town to work them off later.

The talk about what a new station might mean for the city is listened to by Sage, but she seems more thoughtful than communicative for the moment. She begins to help her friend with the nachos as her wrap has disappeared from her plate. "Well, let me know when you're setup and I may have something for you..." She offers to the reporter before she looks back to Tirzah. "See that you do..." She comments simply, but her eyes have a certain amusement in them as she looks at the other woman. << High price, indeed. >> She murmurs into the other woman's mind with undisguised teasing.

Vixen glances between the two speculatively. Elements of their expressions curious considering the talk. "Like what?" Asked of Sage. "No reason we can't talk about it now, rather than waiting. That way, I can think about it and be ready to do if it can be done, once I get settled. Maybe I can rent a room from someone or something.." She shakes her head slightly and shrugs. "Gotta canvas the place, see if I can't find someone with extra room. Already got some inroads to the equipment." She smiles, seeming quite pleased at that simple fact.

Tirzah continues to smirk at Sage the words they share undisclosed. Focusing her thoughts to a reply Sage can read again she nods slowly. << Whatever the cost, you're worth it. >> She states in her mind as she takes another swallow from her mocha. Then eyeing the half devoured pile of nachos she shakes her head and pushes it away. Then turning back to Sage she sighs lightly. "We should go suit up when you're ready." She suggests before looking to Vixen and paying attention to her again to find a good point to excuse herself. Finishing her mocha she's patient, but really has no input on the technicalities of radio.

The reporters voice bringing her out of the depths of her current thoughts, Sage looks over to the reporter. "It's... not a sure thing yet, but there may be a special event a few weeks from now within the Alibi... I have a personal interest... but, that doesn't really factor into the story much." She comments, "Once I get a sense that things will be progressing, we can discuss it a little more." She glances towards Tirzah at the formed thought she senses, smiling softly. Her expression shifts to a more somber one as the topic of the night's activity is brought up. "Okay." She says before finishing off her hot chocolate.

"Heard of it," Vixen nods. "MIght have to take a look before the day's end. Down toward the Dregs, right? Hospital's down that way too from what I hear." She hears a lot. She picks up the can of soda she bought and casually slipped it into one of her inner coat pockets. "Guess I might as well go there and check it out.. before going to find the hospital." She bobs her head slightly, considering that. "If either of you hear about a place to rent a room cheap, you'll let me know, won't you?"

Tirzah nods but wouldn't know, being in one of the pricier places in town, and liking the luxuries. "Will do." She offers as she stands to excuse herself. "It was nice meeting you Vixen. we'll see you later." She says with a kind smile before looking to Sage. "You wanna head to your place or meet back with me around dusk?" She asks, not sure if Sage has some things to set aside first or not.

Sage gives a faint nod to the reporter, "Its in the... nicer part of the Dregs." She has a little hesistation to say nicer. She begins to rise to her feet. "As for the hospital, if area starts looking like you'll walk into a gun fight any moment... you're probably getting close." She glances to Tirzah as if to check if that's a fair assessment. Her own perception likely coloured by the unfamiliarity with an area like the Dregs. Then she looks back to the reporter with pursed lips. "Well.. unless you find someone nice enough that needs a roommate... cheap usually means a bad part of town." She says, "Take care and nice meeting you." She begins to walk away from the table towards the coat rack before she glances over to Tirzah. "My place is fairly close." She notes simply.

Vixen nods her head once towards Tirzah then grins at Sage. "Roommate was what I was going for, though I suppose it all depends on what comes along. But I'm not looking to set up in the shitty part of town. A certain.. security is called for when it comes to high credit value hardware." Se then nods her head again to both and offers, "Watch yourselves out there, ladies."

Tirzah nods, content to let Sage lead the way there. All the planning that she can do is done. Now to wait for something to wreck it all. She smiles at Vixen and her farewell. "We always watch ourselves." She replies with a mischievous tone before heading out. She could be fun to get to know better, but she could be dangerous. Especially given her congregation ideas.

Vixen casually draws out her camera again as the two leave off, flipping it around to point the business end at herself. "Dear diary, things just get more and more interesting, don't they?" she murmurs lightly before winking and flipping it back around to be slid into her pocket again.
