The current game time is: Mon Jan 16 15:57:35 107 PA. Outside Kingsdale - Vadania's Teepee

Seems someone has taken over this small offshoot clearing. The opening back to the main clearing hedged in with a thick wall of vines and brush. Inside however it looks like you're stepping backwards into the wilds of the West. Most notably done to this small clearing is that it's roughly divided into two halves. One half has a tee-pee stretching towards the skies above. The hide outer covering decorated in an almost ivy theme. The other half has a lean-to build and sized as if for a horse. The grounds of that half lightly walled around by a simple stick framed fence. A large fire pit sits in the middle between the halves showing much use of late, with a sizable stack of split wood off to the side of it.

Players- Objects- Exits- Vadania <O> Out Tirzah

January winds whisper around the camp as the fire pit seems to be getting plenty of use at the moment. A merry blaze crackling over several split logs as Vadania kneels next to it gently teasing a wrapped object from the coals. A soft chuckle escaping her as she glances towards LightFeather's paddock. "You certain you do not want some warm mash?"

With the dangerous task of rescuing Alistair out of the way, Sage has decided to seek out Vadania. Rather than give up spending some time with her partner, she has brought Tirzah along. Their hands knit together as they walk. "So this is your camp." She calls over as she notices a figure that she assumes to be Vadania.

Following Sage Tirzah focuses and channeling the smallest bit of her link to keep herself warm ash she let through the forest outside of town. Never being one to walk outside in casual or nice clothes in winter she's a bit slow at times. Mincing steps to avoid the drifts.

Vadania glances up form rescueing her dinner from the flame she offers a small smile. "It is indeed my camp. Please. come settle. It's warmer here than over there and a little less windy." She draws over another section of wood to form a third seat for Tirzah. "Would either of you care for some cattails steamed in butter?"

"Thank you, it would be nice to be out of the wind a little." Sage replies as she wanders over towards where the wooden seats have been positioned. She glances over towards Tirzah, offering a small smile. When the offer is made, Sage looks back to Vadania. "I may try a little." She replies, "Kind of you to offer." She pauses, "And, perhaps I'll put off bringing up the little bit of information that could lead to a fair bit of work." She adds this last bit with a hint of amusement. Tirzah salivates, eagerly moving into the shelter of the camp and the warm embrace of its fire. "Cattails? I havent had those since I was little and Elsie could still see well enough to cook. Never did manage to cook them the same as I remember." She notes, looking to Vadania's preparation.

Vadania ahhs as she works at cracking open the coating around the leaf wrapped bundle. Looks like she had coated it in clay or something before dropping hte whole of it into the coal of the fire. Her eyes shifting to Sage as she works the leaves open. "A bit of information that could lead to a large amount of work? Someone found hint of the missing folk that went towards the haven?" Steam spilling into the air as she frees the last leaf and offers what was inside to you both first.

"That may be resolved around unless there are even more people disappearing or being held hostage." Sage replies, "If it is the same as an outing I went out on... we managed to prevent a blood sacrifice and freed not only Alistair but a number of other people as well." She comments, "No, I'm afraid this work is much less exciting." She gives a small smile to that. Once she's closer to the fire, she'll open up her protective clothing so that she doesn't overheat. She lets her partner pick first, "After you." She murmurs, and will likely pick a small portion to sample herself after Tirzah. Murmuring a "Thank you." to Vadania.

Tirzah helps herself to a hearty porting with wide eyes as the take in the delicacy. "Yes, thank you Vadania." She seconds louder than her discrete partner before digging in. Clearly she approves as they do not last long.

Vadania chuckles softly, "You're most welcome." Her attention shifting between you both as she nods to Sage's statement. "What information have you come with then? I have been a little out of touch hiding out form the young one who seems to have fallen in love with LightFeather." She waits for Sage to take her portion before taking out one of the roots as well. She breaks it open and nibbles at the insides as she waits..

"In a moment." Sage replies as she goes to partake of the delicacy. She takes a moment to consider the treat's taste a little more slowly than her partner, to her amusement. She raises a brow at the comment, "LightFeather?" She asks, letting her gaze drift around the camp as if she had missed a detail.

Tirzah says, "Young one?" Tirzah inquires for the other end of the variable as she finishes her portion. Her indulgence done she assumes a more relaxed and polite posture. She looks content with the childhood delight sated once more." Vadania grins and nods towards where her horse stands half asleep inside the lean-to. "LightFeather. And yes, the young one." She frowns slightly as she tries to think of the name, "Erica. I'm never sure who she wants to see more LightFeather or me."

"Ah..." Sage replies, "Perhaps LightFeather would like to meet Summer Riddle, and I wouldn't mind a riding partner at times." She smiles softly, before looking over to Vadania as she speaks a name. Her expression holds a little amusement at mention of Erica. "I'm pretty sure she likes you... but she did enjoy meeting SummerRiddle. Even let her ride... well, cling to me as I rode more like." She chuckles softly.

Tirzah smirks as the identity is revealed. "Mmm, should have known. She sure gets around that one. I'm sure she'll find the 'just right' soon enough with how outgoing and friendly she is. Hopefully before she finds a creep who will just take advantage of those open emotions."

Vadania sighs softly as she hangs her head. "She gushes at me and I'm not certain how to react. Part of me thinks she is attractive, the other part screams get it off, get it off." She shakes her head and blushes, "Forgive me. Did either of you want some more or something else? And there was the mention of information."

"Ah..." Sage replies, "She has been nice enough to us... and I'm not sure if something I know would be any comfort for you or not." She muses this last bit, as a smile comes to her lips when she notices Vadania's blush. It seems to be a natural reaction for Sage. "Nothing to apologize for." She tries to assure before nodding. "I may have a little more, but I will get the information part out of the way first." She comments, "According to a friend, that lake you found has been contaminated with heavy metals and likely nuclear material as well... definitely not something to drink or swim in if one values life."

Tirzah shakes her head politely to the offer for more. "Was like that with me too at first. Had to be a little extra harsh to get her to give me my space so she could accurately figure me out. Worked out well, we are content with being friends now." She explains. Through Sage's explanation of the lake she listens quietly, taking a moment to remember the shopping trip when it was mentioned.

Vadania's brows furrow at the news about the lake. "Hmm, that is not good news. I'm not certain I could ask the plants to filter that sort of stuff out. It would be generations of them to clean the place and many of those would be warped and tainted." Her arms folding as she sighs. "Drat it all, I might have to seek out the spirits here to see what help they could offer as well."

Sage glances to her partner, "Perhaps that is why she's been content to just flirt with me." She comments, before looking back to Vadania. She nods faintly, "It has gotten into soil as well... likely explaining why those plants you tried to place where did not take." She purses her lips, "I may be able to help such plants out... but it likely would not speed up the process. And... there's the matter of getting rid of the likely source safely. I've never had to dispose of such before." "What's the source?" Tirzah asks, figuring that might be something she can handle. "Could it be removed? Taken to the junkyard for later disposal?"

Vadania blinks and nods to Sage's offer. "That could help as well. I am still young as a plant shaman." She glances away, "Means tht I am still young in my powers as well." Tirzah's questions draws her attention back. "That would most likely help very much. But first we would have to find where these metals and radiation are seeping from." A small pout showing as she admits, "I am not good at all with the metal things that it seems everyone must have."

"I have a certain touch with nature myself... although, it sounds as if you're abilities are a bit different than mine." Sage comments, before she purses her lips as she glances betweeen the two women. "You did say there was something in the middle of the lake? That may be one candidate... perhaps if whatever readings could be taken are stronger there, it might confirm... but, safely doing it would be the key."

Tirzah says, "My phantoms will be unaffected by any toxins in the lake. They can remove everything unnatural there. Trick will be moving it to the junkyard safely. May need to rent a hauler for a night." Tirzah offers with a confident smile, looking happy to contribute."

Vadania blinks at Tirzah. "You have phantoms? I have yet to see any of those, though Raven says she has spied a few before." She shoots a glance to Sage as if to confirm that. "I may have some fetishes that could help. But I am not certain if they would work for anyone."

"Healing natural things like plants and animals is one of my gifts... it could possibly keep the harmful effects at bay with periodic visits." Sage comments, "I have a feeling there are a couple others that may be able to bring something else unique to this task as well." She pauses, "Oh... come to think of it, I am considering forming a group for people such as us... if we were able to clean up the lake, I imagine it would help give us a credible voice should we look to suggest improvements within the city itself... I would be happy if you would consider being a member. I had thought to invite you dinner to propose the idea, but I suppose this setting works well enough."

Tirzah nods to the affirmative "Well most people cant see them as they are merely manifestations of wind with a small bit of presence from a full air elemental." She explains with a dismissive gesture.

Vadania chuckles softly at that. "I would be honored to help this group." She glances up at the growing darkness and hmms softly. "I fear you two may wish to remain here for the night though. The predators are known to grow more active in the dusk and dark." She shrugs slightly, "Those that grow more bold have kept several travelers well fed."

Smiling, Sage nods to the other woman. "I'm glad to hear it." She comments, before she glances towards Tirzah. "Do you feel like camping out or would you prefer your own bed this night?" She asks softly.

Tirzah nods in accptance to Sage. "I can go for camping out. Saves me the energy of summoning a phantom to deal with said dinos for us."

Vadania shakes her head slightly. "Please, join me tonight. I think the teepee is large enough for all of us." She glances towards said teepee and adds, "I can even rig a privacy curtain for you both if you wish it. And I do know I have enough furs and better to keep us all warm."

Sage chuckles softly, "I meant with you." She clarifies with an amused tone, "Although, I imagine there would only be so much privacy to be had." She glances towards Tirzah, "I think we could probably behave well enough for one night." She comments, before glancing back to Vadania. "It is kind of you to offer."

Tirzah shrugs with a bit od indifference. "We could also just include Vadania in the deluge of tickling that normally preempts our nights in bed together." She suggests with a smirk before sedning her hand over to tickle Sage's ribs a bit.

Vadania blusehs softly at the mention of behaving. "Tickles are fine and well liked. I was only offering for politeness. And behavior is open to interpretation." Her cheeks flushing slowly darker and darker as she speaks until finally, "I would not wish to step on toes or endanger a relationship. There have been many paths for the Shamen to help those they see as their folk." She leaves off anymore details on that note.

"Ack!" Sage complains as she swats at the other woman's hand and pulls her coat protectively against her side. She gives Tirzah a bit of a challenging look, "And Erica wonders why I still live with Cali." She teases lightly, gaze looking for an opening. Yet, its Vadania's reaction that draws her attention. A mischievous smile comes to her lips. "Get her!" She calls playfully, as she rises from her chair to move towards Vadania.
