Tirzah makes her way above the path to the hospital in the mid morning sleet on her hovercycle. The aquatic helmet of her armor proving ideal with the dismal weather. Arriving she'll land a dismount, taking a moment to grab her keys and remove the helmet. A quiet "Guard the cycle." is issued to the air in its vicinity before she heads inside.

The morning is a bit quieter than normal at the Knight's Hospital. Perhaps not surprising after recent events. There's a tension outside and within the building itself. The ones who guard it are watchful.. waiting. But for now nothing comes. There will be three distinct types of guards to be seen. Some who bear the mark of the violet shield. All wear the same sort of armor, carry the same sort of weapons. There are some who are similar, homogeneously equipped, but they don't wear such a mark. And there are ones that look more like gangers than guards, but they appear to perform the same functions, if not with the same discipline.

Amongst them, Thorne is present this day. He stands just inside the building, conversing in low tones with one of his sort. Marked by the purple shield. Though his weapon is put away across his back he is no less tense and even as he speaks with his compatriot, he tends to look anywhere but at whom he is speaking to.

Tirzah stops just inside smiling to show her feelings about finding Thorne so quick this time. She'll quietly wait for him to finish his conversation, idly wondering if he remembers her.

The one he's talking to, s lighter and slimmer.. female perhaps, notices Tirzah's lingering before the true end of the talk. Something is said that draws Thorne's attention, such that a nod can be given towards the waiting young woman. Thorne looks back over his shoulder some, eyeing Tirzah. He looks back to his speaking companion, nodding once and, with a few more words their discussion ends, the other shield marked guardian moving deeper into the hospital. Thorne turns on his heel and strides right up to Tirzah. "The wind girl, yes?" He seems confident in that assessment. "You require something?" His firm voice carrying with a business-like timbre.

Tirzah nods giving Thorne a friendly smile. "Warlock actually. And yes I was hoping you might give me some more information. You indicated at the scene that Clash was likely responsible. I was wondering if you might be willing to tell me how I might pursue that line of investigation." She explains with a respectful tone.

The tall man considers Tirzah quietly for several moments after her request is made. "To what end, girl? You fancy a crack at facing down the evildoers? Because if that's what you're after you can look elsewhere. We already have one loose cannon stirring the pot out there. Or maybe a few of them, who can say? What's your purpose? And make it good, because I've got duties to attend to here." Thorne sounds cross and does little to veil that in his tone.

Tirzah shakes her head with a coy smile. "Even if I did stand a chance to take Clash down, which I doubt I do, another gang would just take its place in less than a month. Clash doesn't need elimination. But some opposition wouldn't hurt I think. unless you like that they have no issues with killing a dozen or so children in the most cowardly way possible." She starts, pausing to see if she's gaining any favors.

"There are already people opposing them, girl," Thorne rumbles, his tone not improving. "What do you think the purpose of this place is? A step towards bringing civilization and order to the Dregs. That is why we're here." He lifts his head and nods it towards a nearby man, slouched against the wall. "Who do you think he is with?" The man is dressed in a patched and repatched suit of Gladiator armor, his head dipped as he looks over a well worn, but in good condition pulse laser. "Clash. And I from the Vigilantes. Outside of this place, we oppose one another, but here.. we have a neutral ground. That was threatened, yes, but that matter is being handled by those who have been focused on such things for years. Do you know anything of the Dregs, girl? How long have you lived here? Or do you even?"

Tirzah shakes her head, a little disappointed. "I know next to nothing about life here, I live in the magic district. I could probably never understand this world. But what's most disconcerting about it is that no one will even help me try to understand it. I'm printed with a label of rich city girl, and ignored, reassured, or misdirected. As if there's nothing that can be done. None of my resources could make the slightest dent in life here. Or more accurately, no one wants me to influence life here. You say others oppose them, this being neutral ground is no place to take a stand. How might I meet the main opposition to Clash' stranglehold?"

"You're looking at a member of that opposition, as I said," Thorne replies firmly. "And I would clarify for you the reason I hold my tongue is I would question what you think you're going to do to oppose them. I don't care what your background is. If you're going to shake the hive, you're worse than useless to us. What are your expectations? This is no game and this is no situation that will be resolved in months or even years. It may never truly resolve, truth be told." Not that he sounds downtrodden in the slightest. Merely stating one of the many possible futures.

Tirzah smirks as she's fed more of what she expected. "Well for one I don't expect resolution. For every defence you erect, there is an attack that can circumvent it. You got very lucky that the incident was just one tank, just one miniscule effort. Defense has only gotten you so far. maybe you should consider enriching some of the other aspects of this society." She pauses, an idea coming to her. "Actually your right I'm barking up the wrong tree with this. No existing power is going to give me any influence here, you're all fighting to hard for power to start handing any out. So I'll have to build something for myself. And we'll see where that leads in a couple years."

Though one cannot see the frown that Thorne wears, it's tangible in his words. "Again you speak about something you know nothing about. I've lost m any good friends in skirmishes with Clash. And with The Family as well. We fight active battles, but we do so with care, not recklessness. We don't need open war in the Dregs. Build what you want, but know that if you become more trouble than you're worth, The Vigilantes won't stand by and let anyone foul things. We don't need loose cannons causing further deaths."

Tirzah shakes her head. "No, what you need is faith." And before any further reply can be given she walks out. Remounting her hovercycle and zipping off to do whatever it is she so vaguely intended.

Thorne grunts lowly, eyeing Tirzah as she goes. "She'll have to be watched," he muses thoughtfully before turning to return to his duties. Tags: gang tp, tirzah
