Today the frost in the air combined with the rain to form sleet. The half-frozen slush whipping on a bitter wind as it attempts to find any little crevice or hole in your wardrobe to slip in through.

Opening the door for Sage, Tirzah once again welcomes her into the now familiar apartment. Setting down the singular bag they picked up on the way she gives a light smile to Sage. "Make yourself at home. I have to take a few minutes to freshen up. Though discreet my armor doesn't culture the most pleasant aroma when I remove it." She explains as she takes off her jacket and slips into the bathroom.

Walking into the apartment, Sage offers a small smile. "Thanks." She says softly, as she shrugs out of her coat and sets it off to the side with her other winter clothing. She gives a soft chuckle at the comment about the armor, "Fair enough." She replies, before she walks over to the couch to find a comfortable position to sit.

Tirzah turns on the water for a quick shower while she strips out of her work clothes and then the leathery armor. Stepping in just long enough to rinse of the sweat the armor tends to culture, suds up a bit, rinds and wet her hair. She then steps out and gives her armors a quick rinds before leaving it hanging the to dry. Spritzing some spicy perfume she slips into the deep blue cottons she keeps there and finally emerges, nice a fresh.

Unsure of how long Tirzah will take, Sage gathers her legs underneath her in a cross-legged sitting position. She closes her eyes and brings herself in her mind to the place that she was taught to construct as her safe-and-in-control place. A smile comes to her lips as she finds herself there as it is quite comfortable. Yet, she feels a subtle change and she begins to puzzle it out as she waits. She seems not to notice that Tirzah has returned for the moment.

Tirzah gives Sage a smile as she makes her way from the bathroom to the Kitchen. "Not thirsty?" She asks lightly, noticing Sage did not help herself to a drink of any sort. She herself is though as she immediately sets about making some sort of fruity blended drink. It also smells richly of coconut.

The ponderings of the change get set off to the side as she hears the other woman's voice. "I figured I'd resist the urge to do the cooking myself... but, a drink would be nice." She comments, as her eyes begin to open. Her legs uncrossing and she rises from the couch before turning to wander towards the kitchen.

Tirzah nods encouragingly as she steps aside. Taking a sip of her own drink considers what she could make for Sage. A couple ideas cross her mind until she fins once she likes. Not too tricky but still very tasty. She didnt want to spend all night cooking after all. Settling on her plan she comfortably watches Sage get her drink. Waiting patiently for her chance to do the impressing.

Once into the kitchen, Sage considers her options for a drink before settling on a simple glass of juice for the time being. "So... would you like an audience or should I go meditate until you're ready?" She asks softly, smiling a little before she takes a sip of her drink. She drifts away from the cooking area to give the woman room to work and time to decide.

Tirzah shrugs as she moves back into the kitchen. "I wouldnt mind an audience." She offers. "But If you feel the need to find your center and be still while I cook don't let me stop you." She notes as the takes down the large copper frying pan and lights her gas stove. Letting the pan heat up she quickly dices half a red onion and a green pepper.

A faint nod is given to the woman as Sage considers her options before she moves a chair to get a better vantage point of the woman's preparation. She sips lightly at the juice, as she watches. Her mind working on partially forming that place, even if it would be a little more vague without full concentration. "Have you found much on those fog tours of your's?" She asks softly.

Tirzah shakes her head as she sprinkles olive oil inot the heated pan with a sizzle, immediately followed by the louder sizzle of her adding the diced onion and green peppers. Giving them a stir and turning down the heat she goes about dicing a red orange and yellow pepper. "Nah, just crazy folk acting like zombies." Most are easily scared off by numbers. The more persistent get the idea with a good stun."

"Ah..." Sage replies, giving a slight frown at the words. "I had been trying to get some insight into the problem... but getting a vision myself has proved difficult. Like water slipping through my fingers." She gives a soft sigh, before she looks away in a thoughtful pause. After a moment, she gives a soft chuckle and shakes her head gently. "There's just so much going on... seems like more than before I came here."

Tirzah sighs and stirs the other pepper into the pan. "Kingsdale was recommended to me by the Warlocks who raised me because something could be seen on the horizon here. Our seer had that same vision just before I left. The debate probably still rages whether fate enacts us or we enact fate. Either way I'm here without any intention of idly being consumed." She explains as she pulls some white wine from the fridge and pours a cup into the pan. Then taking a cup of rice she adds that as well, shortly followed by the white fish fillets she picked up at the market.

A thoughtful look is given to the other woman as Sage listens to what is said, and purses her lips as the woman finishes. "Neither do I... but, you seem to know more about certain things than me." She says softly, "Like knowing about monsters, what hurts them and stuff like that... could you teach me?" She asks softly with a little uncertainty, "I've been trying to learn more about them, but I only seem to get a little advise and it only helps so much."

Tirzah considers that as she stirs everything to a bubbling simmer. "I've never taught anyone anything before.. That's kinda on the lines of Renos' guild aspirations. Which are interesting, I just don't know if I'd make a good teacher. I kinda had to learn about the predators around, going out into the wilderness to forage and all. Especially since I was then relying on finding focus points for my summoning. Predators love hanging around focus points." She notes as she collects some milk and cheese from the fridge.

The thought of Renos being the leader of a guild causes Sage to giggle softly at the idea, "He's no good with people, though..." She notes from her own experience, before the other words that the woman speaks begin to register and she gives a soft sigh, "If you don't want to.. that's okay..." She says, with a tinge of disappointment. "Could you recommend someone?" She adds after a brief pause, and takes a sip from her juice as she considers her options.

Tirzah shrugs defiantly. "I'd love to, but I don't know the first thing about teaching someone. Most of my lessons were trial and error to culture my ingenuity. Warlocks are raised to be quite independent." She explains as she grates the cheese. "I guess the closest thing to a real teacher i had was Elsey. I could try revisiting my memories of how she'd advise me on tasks. Don't know how that will go over though." She offers as she adds some mile to the thicking mix in the pan. "Or.." She pauses, the idea still forming. "Maybe you could teach me something and in turn show me how to teach." She proposes.

Sage ahs softly before chuckling to herself, "I think I'll pass on the potentially getting eaten trial and error kind of learning on that topic." She grins faintly, as she gives a gentle shake of her head. To help settle her, she finishes off the glass of juice before she sets the glass aside in favour of tangling her hand within a lock of hair. She raises a brow at the suggestion, pursing her lips as she considers. "What would you like to learn?" She asks softly, "Or, perhaps, what do you think I could teach you?"

Tirzah snickers. "Well I get the feeling that you cant actually teach me how you healed my face earlier. And I'm not really sure what else you know. We seem to overlap already in a number of fields so I guess I'd need a look at your resume so see what I could use." She says and she gradually stirs the milk into the thickening dish. Once all the milk is added she starts stirring in the cheese.

"You wouldn't be able to use it on yourself even if I could..." Sage muses, figuring that might be that might be one reason the other woman had in mind. "So, you'll be stuck with me doing the healing if you don't want scars..." She notes with a little amusement, before nodding to the other woman's comment. "We'll have to exchange notes at some point, I suppose." She pauses thoughtfully, looking to the woman's cooking to see how that is going.

Tirzah nods stirring in the last of the cheese to finish the rich and creamy rice dish known as Risotto. Turning off the heat she pulls out two large shallow bowls and spoons a good sized serving into each while still having a fair bit remaining in the pan. Sprinkling each with some diced chives she carries the plates over and joins Sage on the couch. "Here you go, try not to get addicted." She jokes.

Taking the shallow bowl from the other woman, Sage offers her a smile. "Thank you." She takes a moment to consider the dish, inhaling the smells that come from it. "Smells nice." She says, before taking up the fork. "And, I shall do my best..." She offers as a faint tease before taking up the first forkful and sampling it carefully to get a sense of the flavours that she can look forward to on further mouthfuls.

Tirzah nods taking her own fork and digging in without hesitation. After a few bites she slows down to think more about teaching about predators and such. "I think the best place to start with understanding the creatures of the wilds are understanding the habitats they prefer. You'll never find a vampire near any body of water for example."

Smiling at Tirzah after she finishes the first mouthful, Sage murmurs that it tastes pretty good too. She begins to work away at her meal, only shifting her attention back to Tirzah when she speaks once more. She nods faintly, swallowing the last forkful. "Because they don't like water?" She says, figuring its at least part of the reason.

Tirzah nods forking up some of the fish and peppers. "It burns them like acid. She explains before taking the selected morsel into her mouth and chewing thoughtfully. "The woods around Kingsdale are mostly ideal for dinosaurs. The more supernatural menaces being much less common and usually focussed around focus lines and points." She continues, considering the information a rather vague start to the huge topic.

Sage perks briefly at the information, "Oh..." She replies, now having a better understanding of why that option was brought up before. She smiles softly to the comment about dinosaurs, "Dinosaurs are one thing I know about." She comments, before taking another forkful to munch on. She nods thoughtfully to the comment about focal points. She simply takes another forkful as she waits for Tirzah to continue as she wishes, giving her attention to the woman with an attentive look in her eyes.

Tirzah nods and considers some more about what to say as she has some more of the dish. "When you step out in the wild, a first glance its usually just trees. You're an outsider visiting. If a predator does see you, it probably wont consider you food at first glance, unless particularly hungry. Because your not something it recognizes as food. So the next step is logically to recognize what is food out there, and to what? Knowing that you can be on the look out for one if you see another."

Faint amusement touches her features, "I'd look a little different than most visitors... but that's something for later." She comments softly, "Please go on, you're doing well so far." She comments, taking up another forkful as she waits for the woman to continue.

Tirzah nods considering what to add as she continues the meal. "Once you understand the food chain its time to look a behavior. Some predators hunt in packs, others are solitaire. Some predators will only attack an old or crippled animal, some a purely scavengers, others are hunters to the core. A lone pack hunter may be no match for you but if he calls for back up you can be quickly overwhelmed."

Listening to the woman's outline of what would need to be taught, Sage nods once more. "That makes sense." She comments, softly, unsure of what else she could add to the subject for the time being. "Anything else?" She prompts for the woman to continue, as she resumes munching contently away at the meal that was cooked for her.

Tirzah shakes her head as she finishes her dish. "I think that about covers the basics of what to understand about predators. Habitat, food, behavior. It gets pretty specific after that." She notes as she sets her plate down and double checks her thoughts to see what else she might mention.

Sage hms softly as she considers the woman's comments, dipping her fork into the shallow bowl only to see that its empty. She sets it aside on the table for the time being, before looking back to the redhead. "Well, you can't learn everything at once..." She notes softly, before pursing her lips. "You seem to have developed a good list of topics to cover, though... and, perhaps you can build that into specific lessons." She offers.

Tirzah nods to herself, realizing she's gotten herself into it now. "Perhaps. It still feels like a very daunting task though so bear with me." She advises before collecting their dishes a carrying them over to the sink. heading back she rejoins Sage and sits with her quietly, not sure what else to say.

Tirzah considers that. "Recreation would be good. I have skill in orienteering though and my link with air affords me a very good sense of direction from the stars." She explains. My recreational skills though are rather limited and I have been wanting to expand them, finding direction can be difficult though." She explains as the focus turns to what she can learn from Sage

Tirzah raises her brow at that. "Riding hmm? I've heard that what they lack in speed they can make up for in aid. A hover cycle wont kick someone beating done on you. I think I would like to learn that, though I'll have to give some thought to what exactly I ride if you're familiar with the less conventional." She smiles this would take some consideration indeed. though the fantasy image of her out riding Sebastien is not far from her surface.

At tentative look comes when the woman raises her brow, but Sage waits for the woman to speak her mind on the matter. She smiles when the other woman agrees that learning to ride would be something of interest. "Good..." She comments softly, before tilting her head as the other woman seems to drift off in thought briefly. "Should we shake hands or something to close our little arrangement?" She asks softly, showing faint amusement for whatever reason.

Tirzah gives a slight frown, shaking her head. "Shaking hands is such a masculine gesture. Perhaps a more feminine interaction would be more appropriate." She suggests with a sly grin. Her body flushing a bit to show her lingering cautious apprehension. A reaction caused mostly because she feels the need to be cautious with Sage about intimacy.

Sage chuckles softly at the woman's reaction, eyes full of mirth now. "Fair enough." She murmurs, as her eyes try to seek out the other woman's idea merely from her expression. She lets her finger raise to tangle within a lock of hair as she considers. A smile comes to the other woman's flushing. "A hug...? A kiss...?" She prompts, before slipping into the other woman's mind as her curiousity gets the better of her.

Tirzah nods, ever the bargainer. "A hug and a kiss it is." She accepts before embracing Sage and making eye contact. looking to her to see if she would like to take the initiative.

Shifting her position, Sage accepts the embrace of the hug before she shifts the positioning of her hands. One slides slightly down the other woman's back while the other comes up to rest behind the other woman's neck. She holds the eye contact, smiling as she realizes the other woman's intent. Her hands offering support as she leans in. Her head tilts off to the side, and her eyes slide shut as her lips meet those of the other woman. << I have often thought that someone would wanted to be with me would find something special to do for me... >> Her mental voice speaks into the other woman's mind, letting the kiss linger to give her the chance to finish speaking before giving the other woman a chance to respond. << ... without me telling them... even if they had to ask everyone I knew to find something. >> She pulls back once she's done, letting the breath she'd been holding whisper out of her as she slowly opens her eyes to look at the other woman.

Tirzah submits to Sage's kiss and thinks deeply about the advice in her mind. Something special without asking. Something that really shows you're paying attention to what the other person says and does. She continues to think for a moment after the kiss, holding the embrace. "I've had a similar belief. And until recently was expecting it from Sebastien. But I guess I should catch up with the times already. It may take a bit, I wouldnt want it to be a small thing."

When the kiss ends, Sage leans back a little but lets her hands drift to the middle of the other woman's back to retain an easy hugging position. She smiles a little shyly this time. "I suppose we aren't so different..." She comments softly, "Its a shame that the people who you spent most of your life aren't around..." She adds.

Tirzah shrugs idly. "They're not so far away. It was just over two days travel here on my hovercycle. If you would like to we could visit one day." She offers openly before grinning the idea much thought, but as she does she grins widely. She would indeed enjoy a visit.

A brow raises slightly as the other woman admits that it wouldn't be a long journey, giving Sage pause as she considers the option of visiting the redhead's people. She gives a warm look to the other woman as she seems to like the idea of visiting her people. "And, would you be all mine if I figured out this special thing?" She asks softly, tilting her head as she considers the woman.

Tirzah snickers lightly. "If you want me to be all yours you should just say so. I'm not exactly a hard shell to crack I don't think. But ah, sure. Does the same go for you?" She enquires with open curiosity as her mind considers the possibilities.

A brow raises faintly as the other woman snickers at her question and Sage's lips purse as she wonders what the insuing reaction will be. Her gaze passing over the other woman's features, with faint surprise registering on her features. "If we are comfortable enough and desire each other enough to become very intimate..." She says softly, "...I think focusing my affection on one person would be appealing." She leans teasingly closer to the other woman, "But, we have a little bit of a trip before we get there..." She says in a whisper.

Tirzah smiles warmly, comfortable in Sage's arms. "Yes I could see the appeal such devotion. If you're trading to all jacks you're a mistress to none. As they say yes? Just a small jaunt? I think I could handle that." She promises with a coy smile. "Speaking of jaunts how do you want to handle the sleeping arrangements? Because you're not going home alone in the fog." She states, a firmens entering her tone at the end.

A slight nod is given as the woman seems to understand as Sage hadn't been sure she would when the prospect of sharing was introduced if Sebastien had decided to return to Tirzah's side. She blinks as the woman brings up the matter of handling sleeping arrangements, giving the window a brief glance to see if had gotten late. She looks back to Tirzah, "That might not be so hard as you think... assuming I'm stuck here for the night." She lets the woman think on that for a delicious moment, "You can have the bed and I'll find a comfy spot to meditate."

Tirzah shakes her head adamantly, her embrace with Sage tightening slightly. "That would be no way to treat a guest. Manners dictate you must take the bed over myself. And if you cant accept my taking the couch for the night, well we'll just have to share." She states, cunning shining in her eyes.

A simple solution that would cause neither of them any reason for discomfort seems to dwindle before Sage's eyes as the woman declines and holds her more securely. Her mouth begins to open to protest before the other woman reveals the trap within the offer. "Manners, hm?" She asks curiously, before leading her head in to place her mouth beside the other woman's ear. "One might think you had other things in mind..." She whispers.

Tirzah fakes looking taken aback by that ridiculous accusation. "Me? Having an alterior motive?" She breaks out in giggles. "Ok that was too much." She gasps, catching her breath. "But in all honest seriousness I think you know me well enough to know I want to anything unbidden during the night. Now if things should lead to another I cannot be held responsible for whatever temptations you decide to give in to. So long as we both keep are heads I cant see us waking up in the morning with regrets, or playing until morning and getting awkward as the sun rises."

When Sage sees the look that the redhead tries to pass off on her, she helps the giggling along with a brief tickle of her fingers. "Yes, it was..." She concedes, but sounding amused at the other woman's antics. She takes a deep breath as she considers the options ahead of her. "That assumes that I would have a problem with you sleeping on the couch, though..." Sage reminds with a little playfulness. She raises her brow as she waits to see if there'll be a compelling argument to follow or if the other woman will simply let the decision process play itself out.

Tirzah pouts dramatically at the mention of her taking the couch. "Well its your call in the end. I'll spare you the arguments of nothing ventured, nothing gained and so forth. That would be coercion towards an act of questionable nature. The couch will do my fine, about the same comfort as the cots at work. I wont loose any sleep at all I assure you."

A look of amusement creeps into Sage's eyes as the other woman pouts at the playful comment. She lets the other woman speak without interruption, before giving a gentle peck on her lips. A brief touching of their lips. "It would seem I have some time to decide... or are you getting drowsy already?" She asks softly, with a hint of mischief in her tone.

Tirzah nods, perking up at that. "Indeed we do! We have few hours yet to explore arrangements, positions, special comforts, and maybe even some desert." She notes invitingly. Her coy smile returning as the possibilities flow freely once more.

A brow raises as the other woman goes over options yet to be decided, Sage can't help but chuckle softly. "You're trouble, aren't you?" She asks, with a bemused quality. "What would you mean by special comforts?" She asks, as she isn't quite sure what all the woman has in mind for possibilities. She leans back a little as if expecting the woman to show what she might mean rather than say it.

Tirzah wears her mischievous grin with pride as she nods in reply to being trouble. "Well I don't know about you, but I sleep best after taking certain steps, a nightly ritual if you will. From what I gather most people are the same. But with individual steps to get comfortable. But before that I better heat up said desert." She notes, slipping away from the enduring embrace with subtle grace.

A look is given to the redhead as if Sage were saying 'thought so' out loud, bt she listens to the words that the other woman offers. "Ah..." She replies, "I supppose everyone does to some extent." She'll concede that without an argument. She gives a speculative look as the woman mentions dessert as if it had been prepared without her noticing. She turns to watch what the other woman has in mind. "Is that part of your ritual?" She asks.

Tirzah smirks at Sage. "Desert? Not really perhaps more so since I got settled in. But I've been cutting back. It does not do wonders for the figure. Actually I find I enjoy it more with you than I do alone. I guess i'm the type of person who likes to entertain and share delectable things with others." She observes as she pulls a smallish white caserole dish from her fridge and pops it into the oven.

"Ah..." Sage replies, before rising herself and walking towards the kitchen. She pauses at the threshold to the kitchen though and leans against the counter. "I suppose its just one of those things..." She pauses as she thinks. "Kind of makes me think of an Elf that lives around here... but, I think he probably enjoys food regardless of whether anyone else is around." She chuckles softly.

Tirzah snickers in understanding. "Raicho was like that too. There was never leftovers with Raicho at the table. I remember when I was young I'd get squeamish over new foods and want more of those i knew I liked. But Raicho would give me this firm impassible look and say 'You're not having any more until you finish what you got miss. And you better hurry, Raicho's almost ready for some more himself.' And eh never left anything in the wake of his second round. So it helped me get over my squeamishness." She tells Sage in a warm tone as she leans on the counter and waits for the desert to heat up.

"Could Raicho eat just about anything and remain slender, though?" Sage asks, mild envy in tone that the Elf can get away with his eating habits. Before she chuckles, "But, I suppose we've all had someone like that in our life that makes us eat things we don't want. Not that I ever got threatened with someone else eating my food." She gives a bemused shake of her head, before looking over to the other woman. Then her gaze drops to the over speculatively. "Dare I ask?"

Tirzah shrugs unsure if Sage would even recognize the dish. "Bread pudding." She says casually, her gaze on Sage to see if she does. "After that slice of life Rasputin pushed on me I've taken a break from fudge." She explains with a smirk.

The thoughtful look at the mention of the dessert may mean that Sage hadn't heard of that particular dish, or may be trying to recall what it was. She chuckles as she hears the other woman's admission that the large slice of cake had driven the other woman off fudge for a bit. "Ah... well, to be honest, I only started to enjoy the remaining bit when Vyvian decided to try out the cake." She says, "Since she seemed to enjoy it, I let her take the rest back to her den... so, about 6 forkfuls aren't quite enough to drive me off." She grins, before giving a slight shrug.

Tirzah nods in understanding. "Well I will be exploring some of the other decadences life has to offer, perhaps for some time." She stats, some duality entering her tone. "Tonight, raisins, cinnamon, and vanilla." She introduces before turning back to the over to extract the warmed dish. Grabbing two bowls and a serving spoon she scoops out enough to fill each, The crust of cubes of bread breaking away to reveal a starchy pudding center with plump raisons generously mixed in. She spoons some of the vanilla cinnamon sauce collected at the bottom of the dish over each and hands one to Sage. "Enjoy." She commands with a grin.

"Perhaps..." Sage says softly, as she nudges herself to her feet and comes over to grab a new glass for herself. "Milk to accompany?" She asks softly, to the woman's description of the dessert itself. She sets the glass down as she reaches out her hand to take the bowl from the other woman with a small smile. "Looks like a simple pleasure..." She mentions, as she uses the spoon to get a better look at the pudding.

Tirzah nods grabbing the milk from the fridge for Sage. "That's the golden rule. Simple is good." She notes brightly as she leads the way back to the couches. But just before she can be seated a knock comes at the door. Putting her dish down on the table she smirks lightly and goes to answer it. not looking surprised at all.

"Do you want any?" Sage asks as she takes the milk to pour herself a small glass of it. Depending on the other woman's answer, she'll either pour another glass or put the milk away. When the knock at the door, Sage isn't sure who to expect. She takes up her bowl and glass of milk and slowly walks back towards the couch.

Tirzah shakes her head in regards to the milk as she gets the door and lets in her smoldering aide. "You're back sooner than I expected." She notes to the entity as it enter the apartment, heading to the large open fireplace. It gives only a crackled his in reply, paying no head to Sage as it seems to become one with the fire. Taking her dish back up she smirks lightly to Sage. "Sorry for the interruption, I had it run an errand for me."

When it is one of Tirzah's entities, Sage considers it with some curiousity. Amusement touches her features as she wonders if it had encountered any uneasy looks on its unknown errand. Yet, it likely would have been disinterested in those looks, she notes, when it doesn't seem to even give her any consideration. When it seems to disappear within the fire, she settles herself down on the couch. "Ah..." She replies, before giving a slight shrug. "Its okay."

Tirzah nods taking a spoonful of pudding and savoring it for a moment decides the intrusion merits a volunteered explanation. "The fog has slackened the apprehension my aides get at night. Now they can mostly move unacosted, not that they have any trouble dissolving into inky darkness should they be noticed. So with that in mind I figured I'd have him send a bit of a message to the gang responsible. Perhaps it will embolden them enough for some recognition. Since discrete inquiries weren't working."

Sipping lightly from the milk, Sage watches the other woman savour her dessert before she takes a spoonful herself. Her gaze rests on the other woman as she speaks about the actions she had her aide take. A surprised look forming on her features. "You want them to come after you?" She asks softly.

Tirzah shakes her head at the ridiculous notion. "No, the message doesn't indicate me. But I'm tired of pussy footing. Being completely discrete has gotten me nothing but the run around. I don't want them looking for me, but I want them looking." She explains, wondering if she adequately related the difference.

Disinterested in the dessert or drink for the moment, Sage considers the other woman for a long moment. "Beating the bushes..." She comments softly, before she pauses briefly. "Be sure that you don't rouse more than you can handle." She says, before she slips into a thoughtful silence as she turns her attention to the simple pleasures of the dessert and cool refreshment of the milk.

Tirzah nods seriously. "I'm being careful. I've taken every conceivable step, but i just dont know the people well enough to use their system. If I want resolution I gotta stick with what I know. Besides, after that bomb, I'm sure I'm not the only one out for them. If I choose my battles carefully, it will turn out fine."

"See that you do." Sage comments softly, as she mulls things over. "I am not sure if there would be a way I could aid you in this... aside from let you vent your frustrations and try to heal you as best I can." She offers, before continuing to humour her dessert.

Tirzah nods returning to the escape of the desert for some silent moments between them. "I'm sorry if I make you worry for me." She manages a little while later. I don't imagine that is easy for you." She says sincerely, not sure what else to say.

Comfortable with the silence that develops, but her thoughts dampen the enjoyment of the dessert for the time being. She sets the bowl aside and washes the last mouthful down with the last of the milk before she looks over to the other woman. "I suppose its just as hard as it is for you to sit idle given what's happened..." She comments, after giving some thought to her words. "I suppose in time I may grow beyond my own shell in some respects." Her gaze drifting away for the time being in a thoughtful state once more.

Tirzah nods and finishes her desert in comfortable silence. Collecting the dishes again and returning immediately she sits down next to Sage, leaning into her she just hums softly. Trying to soothe and rekindle the moment. A gentle lullaby Kaili used to hum to her.

Drifting off into thoughtfulness, Sage's mind wanders over all the things that are happening. Soon, Tirzah's own quest gets swallows up in the mix of other matters that have been on her mind. It isn't until the other woman makes contact with her and begins to hum that Sage's attention drifts back to the present. She glances over to the other woman, "What are you humming?" She asks softly, unfamiliar with that particular melody.

Tirzah shrugs not knowing the name of the tune. "Kaili used to hum it to me at times like these. She never named the tune, but I also found it soothing." She says in a soft half whisper before resuming, content to let the tune sooth them both if it would.

Acceptance comes as the other woman isn't able to name it, but gives Sage the explanation of its origin. She doesn't seem to have any words to offer as she simply leans back into the couch and lets her eyes close. She simply listens to the tune, eventually letting her imagination wander with the tune. This time, her thoughts are lighter. "Perhaps if we get the chance, we can ask Kaili if it has a name." She offers after a long moment, before opening her eyes once more. "Although, I think a warm shower might be more soothing right now..." She comments simply.

Tirzah nods and was about to snuggle into Sage a bit when she mentioned her desire for a shower. Blinking and bringing the tune to an abrupt halt she sits up. "Oh of course. Let me get my things out of there and clean it up for you." She insists, not actually waiting for consent to do just that. Emerging moments later with her work clothes and armor folded over har arm she gives Sage a nod to indicated its ready. "I'll get to a towel and some cottons." She offers as she carries her items over to the armoire.

Unaware of the other woman's intention, Sage merely smiles apologetically at the other woman when her request seems to bring the humming to an abrupt halt. "Okay." She says softly, waiting for the other woman to clear her clothing out of the bathroom. She wanders towards the door to peek inside the bathroom to see what it looks like. Briefly considering whether to begin making ready for the shower or wait when her gaze shifts to the facility itself.

The bathroom is fully tiled a a deep bath tub and a modest vanity. Cluttered with various cosmetics, creams, perfumes. Tirzah returns to meet her at the door, towel and light green cottons in hand. "These are stretchy so there shouldn't be any issue with your larger proportions." She notes kindly, aware that Sage is more endowed but not jealous it seems.

It isn't until the redhead meets her at the door that Sage breaks away from her contemplation of the bathroom. She turns to accept the towel and green cottons from the other woman. "Thanks." She murmurs before giving the other woman a considering look. She isn't sure how to take the comment, "If you say so." She comments, before turning to head into the bathroom and closing the door behind her. Once alone in the bathroom, she begins to strip out of her clothing and place it out of harms way before stepping into the shower to wash the day's grime off.

While she waits for Sage Tirzah pulls down the bed and makes her rounds around the apartment. She stops to pick up anything out of place and smother the wicks of the sconces no longer needed. Then she runs some water into the sink to wash the dishes they used with meticulous care, slipping into the hum again after a few minutes.

With the unfamiliarity with the bathroom and its items, Sage takes a little longer to wrap up her shower and take advantage of other things that she's accustom to doing for her nightly rituals. She considers the cottons offered, before giving them a try. They may hug her a little more than she's used to, but it seems to do for the time being. Having dried her hair as much as she's able to, she settles what she's used into some order before grabbing her clothing and setting out into the main apartment once more. She looks around, taking note of the changes. Soon enough, she finds a place to settle her normal clothing. "I hope you don't mind that I took a couple liberties with your things in there." She comments softly, "I wasn't expecting to stay."

Tirzah shakes her head ash she places a plate in the drying wrack. "Of course not. Feel free to use whatever you need." She insists as she washes another item. "Those cottons look alright on you." She notes, trying to be encouraging to Sage to feel welcome sharing with her. Finishing the dishes moments later she leaves them to dry and returns to the couch to sit with Sage some more.

Unsure of what to do with herself now that it seems like things are winding down, Sage wanders over closer to the fire. "Thanks, I figured you'd say something if you didn't want me touching something." She says softly, before she considers herself once more. "I don't think it'll be a new fashion statement, though." She says, considering the fire. Knowing the other woman's aide is within, it seems a little different. When the redhead comes back to join her, she looks to her. "I tempted to ask if your clothes make me look fat..." She says, with a mild tease. "But, that's probably more fun to ask a guy..."

Tirzah snickers at the common trap girls set for guys. "Yeah.. They're a little stretched in the most alluring manner." She offers in kind with the kidding. "Better than me for sure, I look downright waifish at times. Just didnt have it in me to get far from androgynous I guess. Or maybe I had too much and they scaled my looks back to compensate." She jokes.

Sage purses her lips as the other woman responses, "I guess I can live with that." She decides, "But, if this becomes a habit... I think I'll leave some stuff for my use." She raises a brow and gives an amused smile at the woman's comment. "Waif..." She muses softly, "The word doesn't seem to fit you." She pulls her legs up onto the couch, before looking back over to Tirzah. "So... is the pillow fight next?" She smiles softy and raises a brow, "Or do you have something left to do?"

Tirzah cocks her head at sage with curiosity. "Pillow fight? I do have one thing left to do.." She notes before getting up and kneeling before the fire. Reaching her hand into the flames she seems to caress it gently. "Thank you for your help today friend. May it be you come answer my summons another day to see some more of our strange world. Until then I release you." The fire dies down and Tirzah withdraws her hand with a sigh, holding it to her chest for a moment.

"Something that happens at a slumber party..." Sage comments, before nodding to her comment, as she watches the other woman move to the fire to thank it... her aide before it is released and the fire dies away. Her gaze drifts to the hand as if checking to see if it seems damaged by the way she holds it. "Is it tough on you to dismiss them?" She asks curiously.

Tirzah nods taking a moment to gather herself before turning to to give Sage a light smile. "They've been my aides and guides almost all my life. I rarely see the same entity again. Most are content with a single sampling of our world. They're so misunderstood, their plane beyond comprehension. I really feel for those that get pressed into service of Warlocks or Shifters that are more careless to their treatment."

Sage ahs softly in response as she rises to her feet and walks over to Tirzah to lay a hang gently on the other woman's shoulder. "Then take heart that you do not... and cherish the time you had." She offers simply, before considering the apartment briefly.

Tirzah nods smiling at Sage and her welcome advice. Then finding herself ready to move on she pushes herself up and walks over to the bed. Letting out a yawn she set on the edge just watching Sage peacefully as she takes in her apartment one more time. "We've never been over to your place." She notes the idea just occurring to her, a bit curious as to why it never came up.

"It looks a different like this..." Sage comments idly as she makes a gestures to the room, before she looks to the bed. She nods, "I suppose we haven't." She concedes, "Nearly once, but you must admit that you have a well trained door man... and I don't." She adds with a hint of humour growing as the last comment goes on. She smiles softly, "Decided you wanted the bed after all?"

Tirzah grins and shakes her head. "Nope just thought I'd tuck you in." She states calmly. patting the bed to invite Sage over, while she too takes a moment to reflect on her apartment. "Its more somber, with most of the sconces out. Those that remain casting dancing shadows that move with the music of the fire." She observes softly.

Briefly Sage considers rebelling against the redhead, but the thought of being dragged through the air without much dignity doesn't seem to suit her. She walks over to the bed, climbing onto the other edge for the time being to lay on her side on top of the covers. "I suppose it is fitting since fire seems to be part of you.

Tirzah wouldn't use her link on Sage like that. Though that may not be apparent. She nods lightly in regards to fire being a part of her. "Well I think I'll turn in now Sage. Dont be shy to wake me if you need anything during the night." She instructs before collecting a blanket from the armoire and walking back to the couch.

"Okay." Sage replies, before she considers the bed. It feels foreign to her, like a bed that would be at a hotel. Yet, she knows the person the lays in it usually. "It feels wierd kicking you out of your bed, though..." She comments, "You sure you don't want to trade places?" She asks, as she moves into a sitting up position to look over to the other woman more easily.

Tirzah shakes her head adamantly. "No I'm fine. But I guess if you were really stubborn there wouldnt be much I could do stop you from joining me." She notes as she curls up on the couch, looking pretty comfy with the coushins and all.

Slipping off the bed, Sage peels back the covers to notice the silk sheets the woman has. She glances to look at the other woman curling up on the couch. "Okay..." She says with faint disappoint ment, "A little snuggling wouldn't hurt..." She says after she slips into the bed. She covers herself up with the sheets before trying to find a comfortable position in a bed that's unfamiliar to her.

Tirzah smirks sitting up once more, looking a bit disheveled. "Alright." She agrees with some caution in her tone as she abandons her spot on the couch to join Sage on the bed. Slipping under the slick bedding smoothly she moves up to Sage carefully. Her finger tracing a delicate line long her spine as she watches Sage's reaction.

Despite her offer, Sage takes a couple calming breaths as the other woman agrees to join her in the bed. Her position in the bed long since established before the other woman slips underneath the covers. Once the other's body is close enough, she puts her arm around the other woman. She looks over at the other woman. "You have nice sheets." She comments simply, leaving her reaction to the delicate touch questionable for the time being.

Tirzah nods with a smirk as Sage embraces her. "I'm glad you approve." She replies in kind while her fingers of the one hand continue to trace the most delicate of lines along Sage's back. Exploring the shoulders, ribs, lumbar, easing tension in their wake. "You can try too you know, its not hard just paint your touch across my canvass." She offers calmly.

An unsure expression comes to Sage's features when the woman's touch begins explore her body, but she considers the other woman as her hand is invited to roam. Her fingers begin a little hesitantly, but she begins to let it roam the woman's back. Its more of a light rubbing, sliding motion as if to familiarize herself with the landscape of the other woman's back. Her eyes drift close as it seems this exercise doesn't need sight.

Tirzah nods and closes her eyes as well as she lets out a soft sigh of relief as the rubs past one area. "Try to be as soft as you can, gliding your fingertips along the surface." She advises and demonstrates with her own touch pressing just enough to transfer her presence through the cottons to Sage's back.

With the woman's advise, Sage's hand lightens it touch and even returns to the area that had drawn the soft sigh from the other woman. The comforting feelings of the tension being released from her body seem to have an unintended effect. Her hand slowing to a stop as it, and her breath becoming more regular as if the woman is drifting off to sleep. She makes a soft noise but doesn't seem to rouse otherwise.

Tirzah might object if she had not fallen for the same affliction. Drifting off into a very peaceful slumber her fingers slowing then stopping altogether lightly pressed into Sage's back. Bliss resonating out of them through Sage and back into her again through Sage's finger.
