Vyvian is doing what many do when they come to the garden. Reading.. after a fashion. She's laid out on her belly atop her spread out cloak, one foot lifted, toes wiggling idly. She's drawn off her boots, laid neatly beside the cloak alongside her big axe. She's largely alone here in the now, the fog only recently burned off by the dawn. People are still emerging and the few that have come to the library have yet to migrate into the garden. And what does the scaly amazon read? A thin catalogue. Of intimate apparel, which she fingers through with a casual interest an occasionally tilt given to her head as she inspects one or another article.

Tirzah makes her way into the garden for her usual Sunday morning read. Having recollected the psychology books from the shelves she finds a comfy spot and then notices Vyvian. "Hi Vivy." She greets brightly as she sets herself down and finds her spot in 'psychological links'. "Shopping for some evening wear?" She asks kindly.

A habitual early riser for a variety of reasons, Ky wanders her way through the museum, glancing over the various displays. Her steps finally bring her into the gardens, via the large storage area for paper. An apple is in hand, and casually eaten as she wanders, the crunch of a bite intruding slightly on the comparative quiet. In addition to her ignorance of the library, she might appear out of her element given that she is clad in full body armor, save for the helmet clipped at her hip.

Vyvian lifts her attention from the catalogue, her attention taking a moment to focus on the now as she looks towards Tirzah. She blinks once, then grins broadly and explains, "Somethin' like that. Tried that cake.. was pretty good, y'know. So was thinkin' mebbe I should try one a these out." The page she's on given a tap with one finger, ignorant of just what she prods at on it. "Ain't never done it b'fore. Well, guess that ain't true now cause I wore that bikini for swimmin', but it ain't like this." Happily babbling for a moment before she looks back down at the page thoughtfully. "Just too many an' none of 'em on my sort. Dunno which is good."

Tirzah grins as she imagines Vyvian in lingerie. "Ah I see." She says before going back to her book while giving time for her thoughts to clear. By the bottom of the dryly written page she manages to find objectiveness and looks up to Vyvian. "I've seen in some places swim wear that was scaly or metallic or shiny. What sort do you think you want?" She enquires.

High up in the upper reaches of the garden, Sage is tending to the plants that need the least maintenance as they are harder to get to. Watering them can be a trick proposition as it often requires exact amounts least the extra spill over or a slip cause a straight up mess. Some droplets may find themselves dripping down towards the lower plants and a lucky one may find its way all the way to the floor below. She hums softly as she begins to wrap up her chores up here.

"Little cold for that, isn't it?" Ky offers comment as bits of the conversation reach her during her approach to the fountain. She follows up with another bite of fruit, lifting a brow at the other women. First, sorcery over snacks, and now bikinis in winter... and she thought the creepy, crawly things out in the wastelands trying to eat people were odd...

"Oh, already got what I need for swimmin'. is shiny and silver." Vyvian looks up and grins broadly, flashing her teeth at Tirzah as she does so. Her softly befuddled senses catch onto Ky's words, her head turning towards the sound. That woman gets a grin as well. "For outside wearin', yeah. But for swimmin' in the pool up at the gym it ain't. Not that I ain't waitin' for the warm t'come so I can swim natural." She looks back to the catalogue and turns the page again. "Thinkin' I want somethin' light for the lacy things. Ain't had t'wear nothin' like that for a while.. too much might not feel right."

Tirzah nods lightly considering that. Looks like the lingerie was the right thought. She takes in another page to allow her more time to think that over. "Alright, hmm. Sleep wear, underclothes, street wear? They kinda make this things versatile for the impression you want to give." She notes carefully, minding her words somewhat carefully for once.

Satisfied that her word is done, Sage carefully picks her way over towards the ladder that leads down to the stair way. Her feet finding the different rungs easily and drops softly onto the top of the stairs before she begins to make her way down the ground floor. Her humming becoming louder when she gets to sure footing.

"Warmer would be nice..." Ky returns Vyvian's smile with her own, though does not display nearly as many teeth nor as pointed. "A pool? Just for swimming? Inside? Things must be awful quiet around here..." Curiosity does cause her to lean over to peek down at the catalogue briefly, then shakes her head with a smirk. "I wonder if Ox misfired dumpin' me here. I should've gone north with him to see what was going on..."

"Oh, ain't really lookin' t'make no impressions. Just somethin' nice t'wear. Don't normally, but decided t'try some out 'n see if I feel like Sage an' Cali do 'bout 'em." Vyvian flicks her eyes between some on the page. "All kinda colors.. red an' black an' such. Dunno what any of 'em might look like on me, ain't none of the females in here got scales." Though she breaks off from her perusal to glance towards Ky again. "Up at the gym, honey. The pool ain't so good as a lake, but for cold times it works good enough." Then she pauses, showing a soft bemusement as she wonders, "You don't wanna be 'round here?"

Tirzah blinks looking at the new girl who she saw at the deli but never really got a chance to notice. "Quiet?" She inquires before looking around at the serenity of the library with a shrug. "Yeah in some respects. In others its worse inside than out. You have to take the good with the bad I guess." She explains before bringing her attention back to Vyvian. "Well color would be the big thing, it has to compliment or its just garish. The other factors are what it shows and what it hide and what it implies."

As Sage makes her way down the rest of the stairs, she looks around the main floor to see if there's anyone around. She didn't hear any complaints about drops of water hitting people, but never hurts to check. Her gaze falls on the group of women looking at a book of some sort. "What are you guys reading?" She asks.

Pauldrons muted with tan and loam streaks shift as Ky rolls her shoulders in a shrug. "Not saying I don't want to be here..." She waves a hand around. "The city's huge, filled with all sorts of things to buy, or do, I guess... Guards and peacekeepers walking around everywhere... Must be very... safe." She grins. "I'm just not used to any of that." Ky turns at Sage's voice and offers the somewhat familiar woman a gloved and plated wave. "Hi."

Vyvian nods along with Tirzah's note on colors, already keyed in on that. Though she does seem confused when the talk turns towards showing and hiding. She looks up again and frowns a little. "Ain't too sure what y'mean there.. already got clothin' for modesty 'round here." She indicates the altered cheongsam she's taken to wearing most of the time. She waves a hand idly at Sage when she comes down. "Hey there, honey." Then a casual motion at her catalogue invites Sage to take a peek. It's a lingerie catalogue from a modest establishment in the city. Not too expensive, not uber cheap. She then considers Ky and replies in her husky voice, "Need them extra folk t'keep things in line 'round here. S'how it is alla the time. More folk y'got in one place, more y'need t'keep things orderly. Figure the same works 'round here. Safer than bein' out in the wilds, though."

Tirzah nods as Vyvian rules out street wear, she thinks. "Well then maybe the lacier garments will suit you." She suggests. Before turning back to her book to get through another page as she considers Ky's view. Looking back up to her she smiles warmly. "I was the same way when I first came here. but I've found the niceties here quite enjoyable."

Once onto the ground floor, Sage begins to make her way over to the woman. Her gaze falls on Ky first, smiling faintly. "Hey Ky..." She says, remembering the woman's name from the brief meeting in the Alibi. "How have things been?" She asks, before her gaze drifts to Vyvian and nods to the woman's invitation as she walks over to take a peek at the catalog. A small grin taking her lips, as she considers the options. She reaches out to lightly poke the redhead playfully. "I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that you are looking this over after the conversation in the Deli." Her gaze on Vyvian.

"I guess it just takes some getting used to... It's been quiet." Ky nods acknowledgement to Tirzah, then shrugs to Sage before finding herself a seat and settles in with only mild creaking. Her apple succumbs to the final few bites and the core is stuffed into a pouch.

"Ain't a one of them that ain't t'one point or another," Vyvian murmurs thoughtfully at Tirzah's suggestion. "Some got lots of it," she adds, considering one such item. She glances up then at Sage and grins broadly. "Well, I ain't wantin' t'miss somethin' nice. Ain't much reason t'just not try things since I'm here, yeah?" She flips a few more pages, then pauses as she finds something green. Her brow rises and she picks up the catalogue, lithely shifting from a foward lay to sitting cross legged. "I like the color of this dress. Mebbe I should get one that's that color too."

Tirzah sets 'psychological links' down to lean over and see what Vyvian selected. "Yes that is nice..." She notes before looking back to Sage in regards to the poke. Her look is a bit lost as she doesn't understand what Sage is talking about so she just waits for further explanation.

With reactions she gets from the different women, Sage looks between the lizardwoman and the redhead with a small smile on her lips. She pauses on Tirzah a moment, "Vyvy has decided to see if she can enjoy stuff just like human females... silk undies included." She muses, before looking back to Vyvy. "Well, once you get a pair... you'll just have to sway your hips and find out." She gives a little mischievous smile before she gives a short walking circle with swaying hips for demonstration. Her eyes slitting and a smile spreading over her lips, before she ceases her little demonstration. "Like that."

Ky is unable to withold a loud laugh of amusement at the demonstration, including a few porcine-sounding snortles. She attempts to say something, but is also unable to force the words out through her mirth.

Once glommed on to an idea that appeals, Vyvian acts and now is no exception. Seeming quite pleased with herself, she sets the catalogue aside and pulls her fur boots on, fingers dancing to tie them quickly. She glances towards Sage and grins broadly. "You just remember who was teachin' ya that," she notes, softly amused. But in this moment, distraction doesn't stay her and she's up after, snapping up her axe, the big weapon's haft slotted into the loops at her back, her cloak snatched up next. Though it will take her a few to toss it about her shoulders and secure/order it.

Tirzah follows Sage with her eyes as she struts around the room, quite mesmerized. She blushes slightly when her friend finishes, realizing she was being a little too obvious. In fact suddenly finding the mood a little awkward she concludes it best to move on. So getting up with a residual smirk she leans over to Sage to whisper something before heading out with a mischievous grin.

Not seeming embarrassed in the slightest, Sage's expression speaks to the amusement at the reaction she receives. She even chuckles a little. When she looks to Vyvian, she gives a small nod and a smile. "Of course..." She acknowledges the teacher, before raising a brow as Tirzah whispers in her ear. The smile only deepens, "Maybe..." She replies.

Regaining her composure short of utter guffaws or slapping her knee, Ky shakes her head with a lingering grin. "The next time Sebastien tries to drag me over to dance, or do backflips, or anything else... I'll be sure to send him your may and mention the hips."

Vyvian is largely oblivious to the interaction between Tirzah and Sage. Then again, she seems a bit distracted most times, her perceptions hazy. Attired, she scoops up the catalogue and looks it over. Though before she departs she pauses and notes, "Oh.. there's some kinda thing happenin' over at the Knights Hospital. The kids were settin' it up.. carnival, they called it. Ain't too long b'fore it starts. Was meanin' t'get the word out a bit, but got distracted." She grins broadly and waves, largely unconcerned with her admitted sidetrack. "Y'all be safe now," she finishes with, casually reaching out to ruffle Ky's hair as he goes.

Sage's gaze drifts to Ky, before briefly checking to see if Tirzah had caught that comment. She shrugs faintly when she looks back once more. "And, I'll tell him you were looking a lingerie catalogs..." She playfully threatens in return. Then she considers the comments that Vyvian made. "Hm... I didn't realize there was something going on there."

Ky blinks and drops her face to her palm. "As if that man needs any encouragement... and I've only met him the once." Her head shakes before she looks up again. "Don't feel bad. I didn't realize there was a hospital there..."

Sage chuckles at the other woman's reaction, giving her an amused smile. "Yes, I suppose you're right... better to work together than go back and forth, no?" She asks, before nodding gently. "I've been to the hospital once... but its not exactly in a good part of town."

Ky rises to her feet with a smirk curling her lips. "It's Ok. I'm kinda used to guys like him. Or worse." She quirks a brow. "All of the city seems good compared to outside, or bad, depending on how you look at it. If it's rough..." Ky shrugs and motions to her attire. "at least I'll be dressed for it. Can't hurt to take a look around, either." Tags: ky, sage, tirzah, vyvian
