This flat is an airy one, with two double bedrooms, a decent sized kitchen and a reasonable bathroom. The flooring has been replaced with hard wood floor, worn but practical, throughout the whole apartment. The living-room has a lovely view across the city, hidden only when the wooden blinds are closed. The room itself lacks small touches, like rugs, cushions or many furnishings. It has a small wooden desk below the window, piled high with papers, all marked with oil and grease stains. Beside it, a well worn leather chair squats and a tower created from books leans against a desk leg. Nearby, an ancient sofa is pushed back against a wall, the cushions suitably squidgy and soft. In front of it, a small coffee table has a small collection of mugs, books and other assorted chaos piled on it. The kitchen appears to be mostly in order, with a bin that suggests the resident survives on a variety of take outs, and a sink that has a mixture of mugs and machine parts sitting beside it on the draining board. The most used item in the room is a coffee machine, permanently on the go. Caliopa's bedroom has a double bed in the middle, with a patchwork throw over it. Her clothes are mostly stacked in shelves in the wardrobe, one lone dress amongst jeans, combats, t-shirts and sweaters. One pair of heels amongst the boots and trainers. The spare bedroom has a bed, pushed aside, and boxes. Otherwise, it is entirely empty.

Caliopa is working, a small piece of engine held in her hands as she sits crosslegged on the floor, her eyes closed. Her face is expressionless, and she seems unaware as the time ticks onward, moving towards evening time. The room itself is unlit, but Caliopa's hands work on in the dark, shifting small pieces of the part until they fit together with a loud click. At that, she opens her eyes, her mouth curving into a pleased smile which fades into a puzzled expression at the dark, the hours missing as her mind worked on the piece. "Uh..." She rises, putting the part to one side, moving to turn on a light.

It will be the day after Sage left to make some money by doing a job for the Militia. After the conflict, she would have fussed with Sage a bit. Helping her clean up a little, though without a fresh change of clothes, some things wouldn't be able to be helped out in the field. As they come to the apartments, Vyvian insists on giving her an arm to walk. "Sure you ain't feelin' no badness in ya, honey?" Asked in a concerned tone as the two come up to the door. "That thing wasn't lookin' too healthy now.. you'd best keep notice on how you're feelin'."

Vyvian's fussing over her causes no complaints to come from Sage. In fact, it was the only touch that she'd allow if she could help it. She had been drained by the ordeal and only spoke when she needed to. "I... think I'll be okay." She replies softly, "I just feel... like I tire more easily right now." She looks to Vyvian, "Can you come in?" She says, dragging the keys out to unlock the door - if necessary - and open the door so that they both can enter.

Caliopa stops as the door opens, greeting Sage and Vyvian with a smile at first, opening her mouth to make a casual comment before her eyes widen and she takes an involuntary step forward. "What happened to you? You look like somethin' ate you 'n' spat you out again!" That unflattering comment is accompanied by a quick blush and a shake of her head. "I mean, lookin' like you got beat up... " She glances towards the kitchen, uncertain as to whether there is anything of the first aid line in the house.

"Sure, that ain't no problem." Vyvian replies to the request, waiting for Sage to start in before coming in behind her, keeping an eye on the woman. When she seems Cali, she gives the woman a broad, toothy grin as she states, "She's ok. Lost a lotta blood, but most of that ain't hers.." She pauses, considering. "Or mebbe it is.. but she ain't all cut up. Needs a change more'n anythin' else." She will let Sage alone now that she's here and safe, breathing out a soft hiss. "Weren't the smoothest of things."

There is no hurry in Sage's pace as she slips into the apartment, before moving out of the wa for Vyvian to enter. She looks to Caliopa with a sadness in her eyes, "You were closer the first time..." She says murmurs, before looking back to Vyvian, "Vyvy..." He voice suddenly choked with emotion now that they wont be on display for strangers to see. Tears brim in her eyes, "I... can... never re-pay you." She takes a deep breath to keep her from completely breaking down, "Your voice kept me going..." Embarrassed by her naked emotions boiling to the surface she looks away to compose herself. Then she's reminded of her bloodied state once more when her hand begins to lift for her hair. A sound of disgust comes, as she begins to peel off her clothing. She decides not to move to prevent the mess from being spread all over the place if the blood begins to flake off.

Caliopa glances between the two, her forehead wrinkling. "Uh, shower, mebbe? 'n' perhaps get a piece to eat." She chews on her lower lip, uncertain what to do with the two bloodied women, her brown eyes resting on her flatmate. "Guess best throw that stuff away." She turns, heading for the kitchen to retrieve the rubbish bin there, returning with it and putting it down near to Sage before turning towards the bathroom, bringing out her own robe for the other woman. "Uh, it ain't posh but it'll cover you 'n' most stuff washes off it..." She offers softly, worry in her face.

"Oh, honey.. it ain't no thing," Vyvian replies to Sage's words in a soft coo, moving up to casually aid with the stripping. "Don't owe me a thing, not one lil bit for doin' what's good." She barely pays it any attention to her helping, save what is needed to help get the ruined fabric off. "Weren't about to let no blood.. uh.. whatever that thing was just have its way with ya." She lifts her eyes to Cali and agrees, "Good, hearty food. No time for huntin' and trail food ain't so fillin'. She lots a lotta blood, so she should do some restin' for a few days to get her strength back."

Judging by the sounds of the other two woman's voices and other noises, Sage has an idea of what they're doing when the shirt covers up her head on the way off. She mainly just loses herself in the process of stripping off the unpleasant memories the clothes represent and tosses them into the bin that Cali brought out. She sighs faintly as the last of the bloodied clothing is removed, looking to Vyvian with soft emotion in her eyes. "I wont forget." She murmurs, before looking to Cali and taking the robe from her. "Thanks... and I'm not to concerned about looks right now." She pauses, "I'm ... more concerned about... being clutched or grabbed right now." She shudders, "I guess its a good thing Vyvian isn't a guy... or I'd probably have sex with her for a month to drive the memories off." She says that neither of them in particular, before she starts to wander towards the bathroom.

Caliopa doesn't clutch or grab then, her eyes taking on a slightly startled expression at the words Sage utters as she begins her wander towards the bathroom. "Uh, ..." She opens her mouth to speak, can find no words so closes it again. She blinks slowly before trying again. "Um what happened? Thought you were jus' doin' a small piece of business, not takin' down ..." She catches a whiff of the clothing and takes a quick step back, her face wrinkling up. "Uh, gonna toss that down the bin now." She mutters, reaching for the bin, and turning towards the door.

Vyvian arches her brow at Sage's last words, surprised for a moment, then given to a sly sort of amusement, the grin not so toothy or broad as her norm. "Ain't right to take no advantage of a feelin' like that, but it ain't like I gotta be a male," she comments casually before saying, "Get yourself comfortable, honey." Which she does just that herself. Vyvian herself isn't actually bloody. There are some spots of it on her cloak from others, but she herself is clean. Not a scratch to be seen, though perhaps a bruise or two that is well hidden by scales. She divests herself of her cloak, starting to carefully fold it up as Cali goes to dump the clothes.

With the strange comment out of the way, Sage's mind is already moving onto how good a shower will feel. The words spoken by the others reach her ears, but she doesn't seem to react. "I'll be back..." She says simply, "I might actually drink the beer this time if you get one out." She adds, before slipping into the bathroom. It will likely take a little bit for her to work out the dried blood in her hair.

Caliopa nods slowly, having slung the rubbish down the chute, and gives Vyvian a glance, questioningly. "Beer is probably a right idea..." She mumbles, turning back to the kitchen, her expression showing bemusement. "What happened?" She asks Vyvian as she pulls bottles from the fridge, opening two swiftly until she pauses, glancing at Vyvian with a question in her eyes as her hand hovers over the last bottle.

Vyvian actually heads into the kitchen as well, once she's set her cloak aside. So answering cali is an easy thing. "We and some others were lookin' about for word of the missin' folk from a while b'fore. Ended up runnin' into these risen deads. She got this.. blood thing on her, was drainin' her from the inside." There's a notable air of disgust about the whole incident, though most notably for those unnatural things. "Was on her a while b'fore it got cut off. So she's real weak." Vyvian looks at the bottles, then shakes her head a little. "You got some good, fillin' food here? Meat'n heavy vegetables? She's needin' somethin' to start gettin' back what she lost."

While the other woman are in the kitchen preparing things, Sage is likely scrubbing herself vigorously to clean the mess that the blood creature left on her.

Caliopa's hands still for a moment before moving to return one of the bottles back to the fridge, which she gives some measure of consideration. "Uh, got the remains of last night's take out, 'n' seems like some other stuff Sage bought..." She gives that stuff a thoughtful look, before stepping away from it, letting Vyvian take a look. "Take away weren't bad." She offers, feebly, taking a swig of the bottle. "Uh, like a leech?"

"Somethin' like that. But it was.. made of blood.. or seemed like it." Vyvian frowns, shaking her head at hte memory. "Ain't somethin' I'm waintin' to think too much 'bout." Said as she moves up to have a look at the stores. She ignores the take out, pulling out some of the meat. "Ain't had too much practice with these new ways a cookin'." She glances at the stove dubiously, then starts to root around in the cupboards, looking for a proper pan. Getting the meat onto it. She'll be a bit cautious about turning the heat on and not too sure when it comes to putting the meat over it.. how much? How long? She's not so sure as she is with pure flame. "You wanna cut up some vegetables, honey?" Looking to Cali then. "Some good ones for raw eatin'. Ain't goin' for fancy." She grins.

It isn't until the food preparation is underway that Sage finally comes back out from the bathroom. She looks around at first noticing people have moved off. "Anything I can help with?" She raises her voice a little when she realizes that they're in the kitchen.

Caliopa isn't very certain of the ways of the cooking but cutting things up, she can do. She reaches for the ones Vyvian put out and a large knife and sets to. "I ain't a good cook neither, Atti always said I was able to burn water." She concentrates as she slices up a particularly large carrot, and then asks softly, "Uh, oughtn't she be goin' to the hospital?" She stops abruptly as Sage speaks and turns towards the woman. "You got a beer open here. 'n' food on the go."

Vyvian looks to Sage when she emerges. "Now, I would usually send you off to rest, but I ain't too sure about cookin' meat with this here device." She motions at the stove. "Mebbe you could watch it.. get it cookin' to how you like. Just say if you're feelin' like you need a rest, yeah?" An arm out to motion Sage over to where Vyvian is.

Sage doesn't seem to have heard the part about going to the hospital as she only reacts to the mention of beer and food on the go. She wanders closer to lean on the door frame before moving closer to claim her beer. She takes a small sip as she comes up to where Vyvian is standing. She considers the food and the temperature that its set at. "It... um, needs to be here." She reaches to adjust the temperature of the burner, "You'll need to stir it a bit... then, when it starts to get all sizzly, turn it down to here." She taps the gauge before going to find a place where she can rest against a wall and see what's going on with the cooking.

Caliopa keeps chopping until she runs out of the vegetables to chop, and pushes them towards Vyvian with a glance across at her. "So, you sure you ain't needin' to go be checked over?" She questions softly, her eyes holding worry. "Um, I mean, if bits of you are hurtin'..." She leans against the side, taking a swig of her drink.

Vyvian observes and nods her head slightly as she gives the basic instructions a go. Getting one of those spatulas to do the flipping, devoting a good deal of her attention to this simple task."Hmmn?" Her distracted question, taking a moment to realize what Cali was asking. "Oh, no, Vyvy is just fine. Got a little bumped, but that'll heal fine. The others got knocked about a bit, but ain't no one dyin'." Sounding pleased enough with that before she dips her head to the vegetables. "Come'n have a nibble, Sage honey. Gotta eat good so you feel better. Thee meat should be good soon."

Being clean, warm, and with friends begins to settle on Sage, "I could diagnose her as good or better than any doctor." She murmurs to Cali's query, before yawning into her hand. "And... best there'd be for me is a little blood infusion..." She nearly yawns again before she murmurs quietly to wander over to the vegetables, taking the plate before finding a place to sit out of the way and begin to munch on the vegetables.

Caliopa nods thoughtfully, returning to leaning against the side, her face thoughtful. "Uh, guess so." She curls both her hands around the bottle, frowning slightly. "Who else went? Anyone else hurtin'?" She glances between the two, her face thoughtful. "Anythin' I can do to help? I ain't good at cookin' ..."

"Don't know much about no.. infusions, but for my kin, if there ain't magic t'do it, best cure for low blood is a lotta rest an' a lotta good eatin'," Vyvian opines. "Was me an' Sage. That Joachim fella. 'nother guy.. had two swords an' funny lookin' armor. The guy with the metal horse an' we ran into this girl.. red hair. not sure who she was, but she did make some trouble in the fightin'." She looks to Cali and meerely gives her a smile.

Sage nods to Vyvy, "That works too..." she concedes softly, before munching further on the veggies. When the list of people is mentioned, she'll pipe in "Sebastien" for the metal horse guy, and "I saw the girl at Happy Burger." She mentions, before looking to Cali. "Think about something that makes you feel warm emotions? ... you don't need to say what it is, though." She adds softly, letting her empathic side unfold as she waits to see if Cali's emotions.

Caliopa listens to both, her forehead wrinkling in concern. "Joachim is a nice guy,... Sebastien is a bit funny, kinda." She offers softly, before Sage asks her to think of something nice. Caliopa's eyes widen and she takes a step back, shaking her head. "Uh, no, ain't meddlin' none in my head." She speaks bluntly, her cheeks flushing deeply. "Not without explainin' to me what you're plannin' on doin' in there first."

Vyvian nods her head slightly when a name is given to the man. She might have heard it before, but she doesn't remember if so. She continues to toy with the meat, flipping it as they talk. She turns her head a little at Cali's reaction to the question of positive thoughts, her expression considering it then slips towards Sage. But she lets the odd talk go, letting them continue without her input because it seems time to turn the flame down, which she does, letting the meat cook for a little while longer.

Sage gives a brief faint chuckle, "I can see why you get along with Kid..." She says softly, "I can sense emotions... I have no ability to read your mind, alter your thoughts, or mess with your mind in anyway..." She pauses, "If that changes, I will not use it on you without permission." She closes her eyes, laying her head back and slips one more vegetable into her mouth to chew on.

Caliopa's frown doesn't die and she folds her arms, a defensive moment. "It ain't paranoia. Someone possessed my mind, 'n' it makes you right wary of folks meddlin' in there." She speaks bluntly, giving Sage a long look, consideringly. "Alright then." She does think of something, closing her eyes, a flush rising in her cheeks, and a tiny tiny curve to the corner of her mouth.

Vyvian listens quietly and offers no commentary at first. Finally seeming satisfied that the meat is well cooked. So she gets a plate, gets the meat on it and brings it out to sage.. no utensils, not really thinking about it given her own rare use of them. "Here you got, honey. You eat it all now," a casual point of direction, more reflex than anything else. As for the meat.. it's serviceable. Perhaps a little dry.. a little tough, but not overly burned or undercooked. Not too bad for a first try and modern cooking.

Sage opens her eyes once more to look at Cali and is about to comment that she hadn't meant to imply paranoia, but her lips still as the comment continues. "I'm sorry, I didn't know." She says sincerely, looking embarrassed as well. "You don't have to..." She murmurs, figuring her request may have gone too far unintentionally. It isn't until her empathic senses begin to pick up on a rise of emotions within Cali that she realizes the other woman ended up agreeing. Her eyes slide shut, and she takes a breath as she takes in the emotion. "Okay, Vyvy..." She comments softly before opening her eyes to see... no utensils? She looks to Vyvian with an odd look. "I... can I have a knife and fork, please?" She asks politely.

Caliopa keeps her eyes shut, imagining it until her cheeks are very pink and Sage speaks. Then she opens her eyes, her gaze keeping away from the others for a moment. "Uh, best eat your food." She mumbles, shoving her hands into her pockets. "We've got some?" She questions Sage, offering a small smile, a change in topic, and a chance to let the blood flow somewhere other than her cheeks.

Vyvian blinks, then grins at her mistake. "Sorry, honey. I don't use em too much," she admits before turning to go back to the kitchen. Of course, this lets her get another look at Cali's expression, even after she stops imagining. "So what was you thinkin' 'bout?" There's a casual tease in her husky voice, seeming perceptive enough to know it was.. private. She goes right by without pausing, hunting about in the drawers and such for a few moments before she finds what she needs, a knife and fork to bring back to Sage. She does at least know what such things are.

"Thank you, Cali." Sage says when Cali gets distracted by the conversation and the emotions begin to fade. "Are we still ... ok?" This question is directed to Cali. She isn't quite sure how to phrase the question, before pausing at the question about utensils. She sighs at first, before she seems to remember something. "Yes, a set from my travel kit... forgot to buy more, though." That is likely why it takes Vyvy some hunting to find the set. When she gets the cutlery from Vyvian, she'll murmur a thanks before she begins to dig in. She'll likely use the beer to offset the dryness with timely sips.

Caliopa gives Sage a quick nod, the colour fading from her cheeks. "Ain't your fault, ain't really somethin' folks would guess..." Vyvian's words bring the colour flooding back and Caliopa seems unable to find words, blushing deeply and stammering, "Uh, it weren't any... I mean, it is ..jus' a thought ..." She trails off, looking anywhere but the other women. "Um, reckon I oughta get back, if you're alright?" She risks a glance at Sage.

Vyvian turns from giving Sage the utiensils to look to Cali and give her a broad, but warm grin. "Good to have them kinda thoughts," she says before a turn sends her attention back to Sage. "Might be good to let Sage get some quiet restin' time. An' I know my lil Olyn is worryin' after me, so I'd best go an' see him." She picks up her cloak, eyeing the parts whre blood stains the fur. "Gotta get that clean too," she muses before she starts to get it back on again.

Now that her belly is getting much needed food, the final element is in place as Sage's tiredness begins to crooning with pleasant tones. It is, perhaps, fortunate that Cali speaks to her when she does since Sage's head was beginning to drift downward. "Hmm?" She hums with a questioning tune to it. "Yeah... I'm... fine." She says tiredly, before she makes good on her promise to finish the rest of the room. She places the utensils down and places her hands on the table to push herself up but seems to struggle a little at it.

Caliopa nods, giving Sage a doubtful look, worry rising to replace the colour in her cheeks. "Come on, best get you into bed." She comments, moving to the woman's side to offer an arm. She ignores Vyvian's teasing comments, the flush rising to suggest she heard, "Get you some rest 'n' then see how you feel in the mornin'? Do you want me to stay here tonight?" The last is offered almost reluctantly, but genuinely.

Vyvian lets it go for now, going about her preparations to depart as Sage is tended to by Cali. Dosn't take to long, so as the two are headed for the bedroom, she speaks up, "I'm goin' now. You let me know if you're needin' anythin', yeah?" She looks between the two as they go. "Be seein' you two later. Morsel. Green." Seeming lightly amused with her little monikers. Lingering just a bit as she settles the heavy cloak about herself before heading on her way.

"Just... tired..." Sage adds, but gives no argument to being helped off towards bed. She'll try not to lean on Cali too heavily as she still has some wits about her. "... kindness... if... want..." She murmurs, as her mind begins to embarrass the thought of sleep. She'll make it to the bed, but be sound asleep by the time her head hits the pillow.
