As the transport pauses at the turn, and the girls leap from it. The land here is barren and stark, with a few trees huddling together. The air here is dry and dusty. Around half a mile from the transporter's route, a truck is parked, inconspicuously in a truck stop just off the main route. It is beaten up and bears a strong resemblance to the one in Caliopa's workshop.

Katsumi still wears her Coaltion armor, but without the skull-helmet now. She takes a deep breaths and straightens, like a cat. "I thought I will be mad, if we had to sit there one hour more." she explains it absent-mindedly. "I look around a bit, ok?" the Asian woman asks with a warm smile, much warmer that she ever gived to Cali before. "Be careful."

Caliopa is wearing her old coveralls, now dusty and torn. She glances around and nods abruptly, before walking towards the truck. "I'm gonna check on the truck, she don't like being out in the dust." The words of explanation might be about a person rather than a lump of rust and engines. "You don't like being cooped up?"

Katsumi nods before she heads out. "I hate to sit in in one place for long." she starts to check the surrounding, which takes minutes at least. "Hey Cali." she asks after she walks back to the truck. She lies back to the car, watching the girl at work. "I would lik eto tell you something."

Caliopa opens the bonnet of the truck, looking back over her shoulder as she does so. "Go on?" Her tone is absent minded, her focus on the engine in front of her. The girl's fingers touch the engine, and she begins to murmur soft endearments to the machine. Each component is touched, inspected and spoken to.

Katsumi keeps her smoldering grey eyes at the girl. "I am sorry Cali if I was hard on you. I did that interrogation back there." she confesses, speaking slowly. "I had to do, I had to act as they expected me to do."

Caliopa pauses in her engine work, giving the other woman a brief, warm smile that touches her eyes. "I figured. We'd been busted else." She accepts the words simply. Having checked the entire engine, she closes the bonnet, her fingers lingering on the metal.

Katsumi nods and glances down. "Cali, do you know that my life will be in your hands? If we arrive at Kingsdale, I could be shooted in the first sight. I am a Coaltion soldier. But if we choose to go Whykin instead, you could be in danger. I heard a rumor that they going to join to the Coaltion soon." she sits down after her words, glancing up to the sky.

Caliopa pauses in the act of opening the truck's door. "Well." She turns, leaning her back against the door, her forehead wrinkling. "You saved mine. I ain't likely to say nothing, nor to make trouble for you. Not given that you gave it up to come with me." She glances over, lifting both eyebrows and offering a smile.

Katsumi nods. "I gues you realized that I would be killed otherwise. To escape with you was the only way to survive. That was also the reason why I joined you." she keeps her sight up to the sky. "I have something to show you. Perhaps you seen such thing before, but if not... well do you mind coming here?"

Caliopa pushes herself from the truck's door, walking over. Her gait is graceful, and she turns her face up to the sun for a moment. "I didn't think of that..." She admits as she nears. "What have you got?" Her eyes flicker over the other woman curiously.

Katsumi shows her base of the neck, holding her black hair with her hands. There is a tattooed bar code down there. "There is also a chip somewhere in my body, telling to the sensors, that I am a psi-user. I had privilages as a soldier... but now they will kill me in the first sight." she speaks patiently, witha neutral tone.

Caliopa moves forward, using her fingers to touch the spot lightly, her forehead creasing. "That is so shiny..." She murmurs, the technology interesting her, whilst the implications pass her by. "Best kept out of sight though, it ain't precisely gear that's common." She stops her inspection, stepping back lightly.

Katsumi lauhs softly. "Coaltion has many technical wonders. I couldn't understand them, but I know how they use it." she comments. "I hope we wouldn't fall into any cyborgs of their. I heard tales what abilities they possess."

Caliopa shakes her head, tucking a curl behind one ear. "Taint natural some of the things they done to folks but ..." She shakes her head again, turning to walk to the truck. "Which one then? Kingsdale or Whykin?"

"Kingsdale is the only hope, or go even furter." Katsmu lets her hair fall back. "I am starving Cali. I will be die soon, if I can't feed from your energy. That is something that I don't want to force. It is your decission."

Caliopa goes very still, before turning again, slowly. "Feed from me." She repeats flatly. Her eyes narrow in the sunlight and she reaches out to touch the truck with car. "Tell me, precisely what that means."

Katsumi smiles. "I need to cut you, somewhere. A small wound would do it fine. I guess you will feel exhausted after... yet I never was feeded from my mates." she keeps her sight some where distant. "I am wondering what would happen with them after our disband and all."

Tightening her lips, Caliopa frowns slightly, her fingers absently stroking the machine. "Well, best done soonest." She decides abruptly, and she turns away to open the truck's door. She rummages in the footwell, withdrawing a small knife. "Does it matter where?"

Katsumi stands up and closes to the girl. "No it doesn't." she explains, keeping her grey eyes on the knife. There is something frightening in her expression now, something very inhuman, perhaps the hunger.

Caliopa takes a small step back, before swinging herself onto the truck's footstep. She settles herself comfortably, giving her arm a pensive look. "Guess best somewhere that ain't useful." She observes before drawing the knife around her arm and holding out the cut for inspection.

Katsumi closes her eyes, waiting for the first blood coming out the wound. She seems to fall back into an extasy, licking her lips. "It is sooo good, your taste... is special..." she whispers herself. After several moment she stops, glancing back at the girl. Cali would feel exhausted, almost like after a hard day work, or a mental shock.

The other girl sags against the truck, resting her head. "Lordy. That ain't so shiny. How much do you have to do that?" She shakes her head, looking weary. "I ain't so sure I can drive so much after that."

Katsumi lies back as well, but she seems tobe the opposite of the girl. The Asian is full of energy now. "Thank you so much. I am not sure, perhaps I have to go hunt, to keep our speed." she smiles.

Caliopa nods slowly, tightening her lips. "Ain't shiny at all." She observes, slowly pulling herself into the truck's seat. "If we've to be going, best do it now, while I'm still awake."

Katsumi heads back at the truck. "Cali. Did you loved Perry?" the Asian girl asks suddenly, just after they enter into the truck.

Caliopa ducks her head, allowing her hair to fall over her face for a moment. Her fingers rest on the keys, unmoving. "Yes." She whispers before she turns the keys, starting the engine with a roar. "Stupid."

Katsumi turns away from the girl, resting her eyes on the outside without any more words.
