Winter in it's wonderland? Overcast skies shade the world around here with clouds. A stiff wind driving snow around the landscape into deeper drifts. The flakes mostly picked up form that already fallen.

The Kingsdale Plaza Park stretches out to the west approximately sixteen-hundred feet until it meets with a residential area. The ground is covered with sporadic grass and wild flowers. Deep craters from some long-ago weapons fire cover this area of the park making the ground uneven and in some places difficult to walk. Nonetheless, this area has seen extensive use by the people of Kingsdale. Bike trails criss-cross the area and one of the craters has been filled with water where duck and other water birds come. These waterfoul seem to have quite a good living too, with people almost always present to feed them.
Here and there are stands of conifer trees that people often sit beneath to read and otherwise forget the trials and tribulations of city life. The exception to this is during the night though, and nobody comes to the park after dark unless they are either foolhardy in the extreme or looking for trouble.
The wind blows through the area unhampered and on good days it carries with it the laughter of children feeding ducks and the sweet scent of pine and wild flowers.
Benches and places to sit are also scattered through the park area, and to the south is a Pavillion of five statues -- all previous dictators and people of note to Kingsdale's past.

It's a bit of a strange time - or rather weather - for a walk out inthe park, but at least within the city the wind isn't quite so hard. And who else to find here on a stroll but Cali and Ali; they stop by one of the trees to exchange a joke - they're carrying a bag each, probably some groceries or something to snack on.

Caliopa is dressed casually, her hair tied up in the ponytail that bobs as she walks. Her hand, brushing his as they walk at first, reaches out to entangle fingers with his, as she gives him a slanted look sidelong. She leans against the tree, dropping her bag on the floor, resting her head back against the bark.

Vixen has been in the park a bit, currently heading towards the entrance to the place when her path crosses with the cute couple. She has her coat buttoned up against the wind and her hand sunk into her pockets. The common presence of a cord extends from behind her right ear, tucked under the collar of her coat, but otherwise invisible as to where it goes. And she's murmuring to herself as she walks, a bit distracted. For the moment, as she draws within visual range, she won't catch upon them immediately.

Alistair's fingers lock with Caliopa's, smiling at her when she looks at him. The invitation is taken and the bag drops out of his hand too as he closes in to press against her lightly and lean in to put a kiss on her lips. They stay like this for a short time, though hopefuly they'll stop before the blushing burns down that tree!

Caliopa's cheeks are pink when the kissing stops, and she laughs as she ducks beneath his arm, pulling away from him. She grabs up the bag, settling herself on the grass, disregarding the weather as she opens the bag. Her face is lit up with laughter as she looks up at the man.

"..new format for the interviews needed," Vixen narrates to herself as she draws nearer. "Number one.." She notices the two then, an upward flick of her head to flip aside a fallen lock of hair bring her attention towards the two. She keeps moving forward slowly, a hand shifting in her pocket before she moves close enough to hail them without too much yelling. "Are you two completely oblivious?" The question not coming out in a bad way per se, given to an honest curiosity, all things considered.

Alistair follows her once more, sitting down beside her - quite close actually. "It's cold, you have to warm me up" he says, pulling her close. It is a joke, of course - and an excuse. He gathers the other bag also, and watches her for a few moments, smiling before Vixen draws his attention. He turns his head, making a little sound of surpise and then waves at her, still blushing. "Hello Miss Vixen."

She is giggling, leaning into his embrace when Vixen speaks. Then she jumps, visibly and Alistair could easily feel it. "Vixen." She greets the other woman with a quick, warm smile, her eyes light with humour. "Ain't completely." She replies to the comment, pulling the bag open and drawing out the greasy pastry. "You filmin' here?"

"I gotta wonder, cause it's maybe.." Vixen glances to the side slightly, though not at anything in particular. "..an hour before the fog start rolling in." She pauses once she's come next to the set up, keeping her hands sunk into her pockets as she considers the two. "I was testing some things, but I'm not filming right now." She glances towards Alistair and smirks faintly. "Or recording." Her eyes move to Cali as she wonders, "You heard him on the air?"

"Hmmm?" Alistair glances up at the sky for a moment. Tough to tell indeed. He's got a watch, but he wasn't looking at it too often. "We knew we only had a bit of time ..." he explains, having held on to Caliopa despite the start, but his hold is loose enough that she could leave should she want. "Huh" he blushes more.

"Figured we'd eat 'n' then head home. We ain't slow eaters." She doesn't leave his arms, settling herself snugly next to him nicely. Her gaze moves between the two of them, her forehead wrinkling as she picks up on the smirk. "He was on air? I weren't listenin', not today. Been real busy today." She twists in his arms to look at him.

"Don't worry, Cali. It'll play again. You know I like to replay, make sure everyone gets a chance to take a listen." She glances around again after those casually playful words, a touch paranoid at the approaching evening. Then she looks at the two of them again and shakes her head slightly. "I guess maybe I'll never understand you two." A casual statement, that.

Alistair is being teased - he knows it, and its mean! Having Cali here though prevents his disposition from suffering for it. "'Cause I was saying I had to protect you in that fight but I changed my answer" he explains, "I think its one of those longer explanations needed" he smiles at her sheepishly.

Caliopa glances between the two, her face thoughtful. "I'll listen, I reckon." She replies to him softly before turning her attention back to Vixen. "Ain't that hard to understand, is it? Ain't a complicated person, neither of us." A faint flush puts a hint to the small lie there, and her glance at Alistair suggests the part of it. "Ain't that hard."

Vixen grins faintly. "In some ways, but I don't' see the appeal of being out here in the cold, with the fog about the roll in. Not really all that comfortable in my mind." She shrugs her shoulders. "I think if a guy I was with suggested something like this for a good time, he'd get less positive results." She then grins at Alistair. "Make sure you tell her about how Tirzah jumped you too." Helpful she is.

Alistair smiles at Caliopa; he's not going to comment other than give her a warm, meaningful look, then to Vixen, "It was just on our way ... what's wrong with enjoying a little?" Alistair asks, looking a little perplexed. "It's just a stroll" he adds, shrugging his shoulders a little, and then his cheeks redden more. "O-ooh...she wasn't happy with me changing it, though it was 'cause I was embarassed."

The meaningful look brings a blush to her cheeks, highlighting her cheekbones. "Ain't his idea, was mine. I get stuffy in the garage all day, need a piece of space to wake up, 'n' I ain't able to run, not with the fog..." She replies quietly to Vixen, the comment about Tirzah bringing a frown to her face. "Jumped you?" She repeats softly, giving a look that demands more explaination to Alistiar.

"Seems she was listening and came over just to smack him around for not saying the first thing that came to mind," Vixen supplies succinctly. "The goal was good, but acting like a psycho to get it done was pretty.. crazy." She rolls a shoulder slightly and then says, "Could have done this in the garden. It's open and warm, rather than cold and dangerous." She shrugs faintly again. "Well, I'll let you two get to it. Don't need your time wasted with my analyzing." Said as she turns back towards the park entrance again.

Alistair nods to Caliopa, and opens his mouth to start explaining but Vixen gets to it first. "Yeah. She jumped on me - literally!" he nods his head, "Miss Tirzah seems violent" he adds, nodding his head again. He lifts a hand to wave at Vixen as she starts leaving, but that's about all the attention he spares for her, and his eyes are back on Cali's.

Caliopa's face is a picture, her mouth tightening into a line, a flash of the redhead's temper showing in her face. "She attacked you?" She repeats to clarify, Vixen's leaving barely noticed in that moment. She scrambles to her feet, scrumpling the paper bag into a ball. "Reckon I'll talk to her." The same protectiveness that he showed with the fight is showing in her face as she turns, heading off to look for Tirzah.

Vixen pauses, shifting in a turn to try and block Cali's path, a hand lifted. "Cali, go sit back down," she states. "Plenty of time to talk her over and you should know by now.. Ali can take care of himself if he gets into real trouble." She grins casually.

"Just a little" Alistair explains, and rises to follow Cali and try to calm her down - not that he doesn't appreciate the sentiment. His arms go around her and he hugs her from behind. "Why don't we go do something fun" he suggests, without attempting to absolve Tirzah.

That flare of temper in her cheeks suggests that calming down will not be easy and although she lets him hug her, and lets Vixen block her path, her expression suggests she is still going to talk. "Can do. Ain't he can't look after himself, but if she is yellin' n' hittin' him over me, then it ain't her business, 'n' it is all mine."

Vixen shakes her head slightly. "Not saying you're wrong, but now ain't the time, Cali." She dips her hand, slipping it back into her pocket. "Not good to just up and ditch him right now either," she ntoes, dipping her head towards Alistair. "People don't like getting abandoned." She gives the woman a meaningful look at that before she turns and starts walking again. "I'm going to the Alibi. Come have a drink if you wanna catch me there." A general invitation tossed in their direction without focus as she gets along on her way.

Alistair smiles sheepishly, "It's like she'd be taking the time I have with you" he says softly to Cali, still holding her in that hug. He waves at Vixen with a hand and then presses a kiss to Cali's cheek. He whispers just for her, "But I do apreciate that you want to have a talk to her."

Caliopa hesitates, torn between ripping a strip off the other woman and the words that soften the edge of her temper. She lifts a hand to Vixen, giving her a nod to acknowledge her words before she turns to Alistair. Her face softens and she snuggles into Alistair's body, her arms around his waist. "It ain't right for her to attack you, jus' because you chose to keep us a piece private." She comments softly, "Ain't like I want you to take an advert out, tellin' the world."

"Oh.." Alistair hugs her tighter and brings up a hand to stroke her hair as she speaks. "She is a crazy lady" he agrees, "I don't think you can convince crazy people to not be crazy" another blush from him and smiles, "I wouldn't mind telling the world, it's just that it causes trouble some times" he murmurs, "I want to tell ... Cali is my girlfriend. And she's hot even when her temper flares" the last said quietly, "I'll keep that part between you and I though."

Caliopa snuggles herself into him, her temper soothing as she listens to him. "She ain't entirely right in the head, I'm reckonin'." That is more a grumble, and she shakes her head. "There ain't no call to be tellin' the world. Most of them here, they ain't got a clue who I am." She sighs, pulling away and drawing him towards the gate and then to home, to food.
