IC Club Schedule of entertainment:

Tuesday - Live acts are on stage these evenings. These are small time, but not amateur acts, usually music though occasionally there might be a magician or other artistic act thrown into the mix. Entertainment starts after 5 PM and often will be focused on a single headliner who will perform for most of the night.

Having picked out a table, Sage sits comfortably with a good view of the stage. It seems tonight features live acts. Her drink is only paid occasional attention as she watches a dance group strut their stuff on stage. Her foot taps lightly against the floor as she listens to the upbeat tempo.

Walking into the bar he has been to a few times now, and certainly the more lively of them and more entertaining of the three so far. Its Kar, he seems a bit chipper as he walks up the bar and orders his drink, it isn't long before he has it and he is looking around. The live act of course one good reason to come out all the way to the dregs after work. It isn't hard to spot Sage, right up front at the stage, seeing an empty seat nearby he thinks its a good place to sit and watch as well. Moving over he asks before sitting, "This seat taken?"

Sage's gaze drifts over to see the man asking and seems to recognize him. She makes a gesture to the seat, "Feel free." She comments simply before she picks up her drink to sip lightly from it. She glances towards the stage to see that this particular performance seems to be winding down. "Looking for a little relaxation after work?"

Karibdiss nods a bit and takes a sip as he sets down the glass with the logoed napkin under it, "Thanks." he takes the open and offered seat now and glances as the girl that is just finishing leaves the stage and they setup for the next act. "Yeah... with a little incoming cash, it certainly makes it easier to do so."

Sage chuckles softly, "I'm sure it does." She comments, "Will you be doing much standard technowizard work?" She asks before looking back to the stage to see how the shifting to the new act is going on before looking back to the man.

Karibdiss laughs some more, taking another sip, trying to loosen up a little more than he already is it seems, "Oh yeah, Cali has a good supplier. Better than I could have hoped for, makes pricing better and a lot more competitive especially when things can be bought in quantity." he watches as the music starts up again and the next performer to come out is a nicely shaped, very-curvaceous, red head.

Sage hms softly as she considers the man, "I didn't realize Cali might have supplies for certain things." She comments before pursing her lips, "I am thinking of hiring a technowizard myself... but I think what we intend to do might be different enough to avoid too much direct competition. Could we perhaps combine orders?"

Karibdiss considers that a bit and nods after a bit, "Have to run it by Cali, but I don't see why she wouldn't let you, a slight markup perhaps, but then her order will be bigger as well, saving her even a bit more money. She doesn't seem to lack the business to make a healthy business out of some competition..." he says this and doesn't even look worried, he knows his own skills and looks pretty confident, he hasn't even drunk that much yet for it to be a false reading of liquor courage.

Sage nodding faintly, "Hopefully not. She is a good friend of mine, after all." She comments before pursing her lips once more. "I suppose you might bump into her before I do since you work for her. I'd be willing to talk about it with her if she wanted. Could even sweeten things by offering some of my other services to her or her employees..."

Karibdiss nods some more, his eyes tearing away form the stage performance and looking over to Sage now, "I will mention it to her when I see her... what are your skills? We never got around to talking more the last time I saw you here.. kind of took a nose dive into old memories, and people lost..."

Sage nods faintly before she takes a sip, "I am a healer and a very good cook among other things." She comments, "Sage Alternatives is my business. My main offerings right now are spa services and a private dining experience... but I have taken over another business Arcane Solutions that offered armor repair and healing through magical means."

Karibdiss smiles, "Cool, hope to run a business myself one day... but for the moment I need the cash, and well Cali is paying pretty good to keep me there for quite awhile..." he watches the stage act finally come to an end and turns back to Sage one again. "Sounds like you got yourself going pretty good... I never heard of someone doing massage for work. Then again, I have never been in a city this size before... grew up in a pretty small town."

Sage glances back towards the stage as she nods to the man's words, "Well, massages aren't the only thing that can be done in a spa... but it is one of the services offered." She comments, "And, I grew up in a wilderness community myself." She purses her lips as she glances back to the man, "But, I've wanted a place to offer alternative healing options for a while now... and throwing in a little relaxation and rejuvenation doesn't hurt either."

Karibdiss nods and can agree with that statement, seeing were they are at, taking another sip and relaxing a bit more into the general conversation, "All I've ever wanted to do is fix things... I guess the Techno Wizard angle just brought a bit more excitement into it... that and I didn't know I was as gifted before I was discovered by another one, my mentor, Carl... Funny, I can't even remember if he told me his last name, only one time I think. It was before I had trained my total recall to the point it is at now. Funny how you treasure a small skill like that after not knowing how valuable a name can be... So do you do the massage yourself, or do you have a staff?", curiosity getting the better of him, he never has had it done before, not professionally of course, the girl he had mentioned before, once gave him a massage, but it had hurt a little when she pressed into his shoulders so found a good excuse to get out of it.

"I imagine being a technowizard must be quite interesting... although, I'm all thumbs when it comes to technology... so I probably wouldn't be able to help out much." Sage comments before glancing over to the man at the mention of the name. It doesn't seem to be familiar. "With any luck, you'll find him again... but I don't think I've him myself." She offers a faint shrug, before she glances back to the performance briefly. "Right now, I give the massages, but that may change once I'm able to get staff." She comments, "So, I'm making sure not to take on more work than I can handle for the time being."

Karibdiss can understand about not taking on too much work, or at least more than one can handle, "You can't be all thumbs if you are that good with your hands..." he smiles and tips his head and glass to the woman, waiting on the next act to come up once more. he turns and leans on the table as he waits, sipping the drink, "Not sure if I'd have the knack myself... I'm a bit better with metal surfaces, flesh...", he shrugs a little, "Not had much practice in that department..."

A soft chuckle comes from Sage as she glances over to the man, "I suppose you're right now that I'm not all thumbs... but, I have a strong affinity with nature than technological things." She wrinkles her nose a little, "Cali and I balanced each other when we shared the apartment... she'd take care of the mechanical stuff and I'd handle other things." She takes a moment to muse to herself, "Of course, if I knew she was going to return, I may have kept the apartment we shared... but, the place I have is a good place to start fresh. So I guess I can't really complain." She offers before playing lightly with her glass with her fingers.

Karibdiss nods a bit at that, "Striking out on your own can be a big step... and I'm glad she returned. The garage across the way form her's not really my style. i like a closer knit place like Cali has... a good history, good vibes in a place like that."

Sitting a table with the man, Sage has arranged a good view of the live performances that are taking place on stage. The acts being of generally good quality if not all of them are to her tastes. She seems to be conversing with the man, Kar, seated with her. "Well, it wasn't supposed to be alone... but it felt right to move on with it. And, its a place where I can forge new memories instead of lingering in old ones." She pauses as she lets out a sighn. Some of the old memories would be nice to linger if they weren't bittersweet now. She takes a moment to sip from her drink, "But, Cali's a good person and I don't think you'd do better than her as your boss. She just has a habit of working too hard." She adds that last bit with a little fond amusement.

It isn't raining, but the blowing snow isn't much of a consolation. Leonard enters the establishment wearing a dark cloak that is wet and speckled white from the flakes, then removes it for both the door check and to let in the heat of the room. There are no weapons to further delay him at the door, so he continues on towards the bar.

Karibdiss nods a bit more as you explain, "Moving on is sometimes the best thing I guess..." he doesn't seem to terribly convinced of that from the sound, "And nothing wrong with a bit of hard work, I understand her love for machines... sometimes it is the only thing that kept me going myself." he notes the man that enters and walks over tot he bar.

"Oh, its not the hard work that's really the issue... its the not eating part that can be the bad part." Sage clarifies before she turns her attention back to the performance on stage.

Leonard's new first task is the acquisition of wine, conveniently delivered in a glass. His attention is expanded afterwards to the surrounding club and the current live performance. The music is a welcome change from the often loud and obnoxious sounds, and at least one familiar face is noticed among those sitting inside. He raises his glass lightly in Sage's direction, but doesn't otherwise attempt to interrupt her conversation.

Karibdiss turns to the performance on stage now as well, nodding his head over tot he side and agreeing, "Yes well, I'll try and see if I can help that, keep some food in the place all the time. I've been there myself, forgetting to eat if nothing is available... lost in the work I'm doing. ITs the intense focus that draws us into that state... and I know what it is like to talk to the machine as well... Its nothing like how we are talking now. Its more intimate then anything I know of, no ability to lie..."

Sage's gaze drifts towards a motion out of the corner of her eye, before she offers a faint smile to Leonard. A faint look of amusement as she raises her hand to make a come hither gesture with her finger. Then she looks back to the other man with a raised brow, "Intimate?" She asks softly, "I suppose it is not too different than things I'm capable of... although, if its intimate, that may be explain the obsession some have with machines." She muses this last part.

Thus beckoned, Leonard leaves the bar for the table of Sage and company. A smile is offered to both, in turn. "Hello. Are you recruiting more employees, Sage, or enjoying some casual conversation?" He adds a nod of his head and gesture with his glass to the large man at the table. "Be careful. She can be frighteningly persuasive and and terribly kind." A most dire warning.

Karibdiss laughs softly and shakes his head, "Casual only... her friend Cali caught me up first..." he laughs and scoots around giving the man plenty of room for his chair. "The name is Karibdiss Shadowblade... EVeryone seems to think its terribly long though and call me Kar instead." It does seem to be an apt nickname for someone that often works on them.

"We may be able to have a business deal for supplies, but I wont be trying to tempt him away from Cali." Sage assures before nodding, "It is casual enough now, though." She comments before looking to Leonard with a look of amusement before raising a brow faintly at him and letting an impish smile take her lips. then she glances back to the other man. "I never said it was too long... you just gave me the option of calling you, Kar, so you're stuck with that." She muses.

"Well met, Kar." Leonard chuckles and avoids the debate of length. As room was made and he was invited, he joins them at their table. Sage's impish look causes one of mild curiosity in return. "I hope that I'm contributing to the casual instead of interrupting, temptation or not... Cali returned? I thought she'd disappeared?" The realization hits him a little late, and he's obviously behind on some current events.

Karibdiss nods, "I didn't know she had been gone as well... but I'm new to town..." he laughs a bit and nods up to the stage.

"No, as I said, any business dealings have already been discussed. But, I'm glad that Cali is back." Sage comments, "I don't think she's been back for long, though." She comments before shrugging faintly, "And, I had no idea she was as connected as Kar has suggested."

Leonard sighs and shakes his head. "I had no idea... though I'm in, out, and about, as you know." Not that he's in a great hurry to go visit, considering that their last meeting in recent memory was not entirely pleasant.

Karibdiss nods a bit more and watches the dancer on stage a little more, offing the last of his drink and ordering another, "You don't seem too happy my friend... drink up, cheer up and enjoy the show." of course he is feeling a bit better than he was before he entered, but that is beside the point, here at least gave him something to go home to and take a cold shower over.

"Its okay, Leonard." Sage comments, not terribly concerned about the man being unaware of Cali's return. She drains the last of her drink, before she glances to the man before looking to the dancer and the smooth movements.

"It seems that I've killed the conversation," Leonard chuckles as all find the dancer far more interesting (not that he can blame them), "or my timing is poor." He takes the opportunity to sip his wine.

Karibdiss shakes his head, he nods up to the dancer, "I think we are both mesmerized by this one..." He nods to the dancer up now. "It is a good night for watching... isn't it Sage?" he nudges the woman sitting not to far away.

"Hm?" Sage replies to the nudge, "Yes, sometimes watching and appreciating can be just as good as conversing." She muses, before she offers a little applause when the dancing performance winds down to the lights fading out. She takes a breath before looking back to the table. "That was good."

Leonard remains amused, even if he was unlucky enough to have sat facing the wrong direction. His glass is emptied during the performance without any great hurry. "Well, I should leave you to your watching. There are other things I need to watch, myself." Leonard stands from his seat to return the empty glass.

Karibdiss 's drink is delivered to him and, "No need to rush off... there is going to be more entertainment soon enough." He takes a good drag off the new double shot of whiskey letting Leonard know he is welcome at the table as well.

Sage's gaze drifts to Leonard, "I'm not sure if I'll be staying much longer myself unless there is something that needs to be discussed." She comments, "And, you don't need to leave on our account."

His trip is cut short and Leonard cheats by leaving the empty on a passing waitress' tray. "I guess I'd have more reason to stay if I just changed seats." He returns to the table and does just that, settling on Sage's other side. "We could critique the music and dance? I don't think there's any great business to discuss, other than I hope to have your armor repaired soon."

Karibdiss nods to Leonard, "So you are in a similar business as myself Leonard... or do you only repair armor?" he is making idle small talk as the next dancer comes onto the stage, tot he roaring applause of the people there.

Sage purses her lips as Leonard is asked the question but decides against answering for the man. "Excuse me." She says instead, as she rises from her seat and begins to make her way away from the table.]
