Lucy opens the door into her aparment and slip her coat off and onto a peg near the door, hanging her weapon harness in the fastest way to put it on. She pulls Renos inside and closes the door behind him. As soon as the door is closed and locked, the taller woman turns around and takes Renos' face in both hands and plants a passionate kiss on his lips, lingering before letting go. "I hope that was okay," she blushes.
Renos wells, the entrance was okay, as it provided a brief view of the apartment. I say brief in that its not the fact that the lights were turned out. Its not the fact that she didn't shut the door in his face, and she certianly didn't let him see it. Mainly because her face is right up in his and he feels her lips against his, his toes curl, his heartbeat jumps about 3 times its normal beating, and his eyes roll back a little. BUt otherwise, its a brief kiss that lasts forever. When she stops, he smiles. "Wow."
Lucy says, "Believe it or not, I have very little practice at kissing. It's a no-no. Too intimate. Sex can just be sex, but a kiss, that's well.. intimate," she says again, for lack of a better word. "I'm not giving you permission to do anything else, I just thought that, I love you, Robert. And you deserved that." Lucy looks at him with a tear in her eye. "It's been a very long time since I've kissed anyone."
Renos nods softly at that, and then smiles, then brushes his hand along her cheek. "Lucy...love..." He says, with a hitch in his voice. "The kiss, in a way, means more than the sex we could have between us." He then smiles a little. "Do not believe that I don't understand. Its probably the most precious gift you can give me. And I am...honored. Grateful. And I hope to treasure it."
Lucy takes his hand and holds it against her cheek, closing her eyes and exhaling slowly. "It has been an even longer time since I loved anyone, Robert. Don't break my heart, okay?" She looks deeply into the man's eyes, visually pleading. "Don't go anywhere, cookie. I need you."
Renos then looks deep into her eyes and smiles. "There is no one that can take you away form me. There is no one who can make me leave you. I will never brak your heart. I will remain by your side. I will be true to you." He then smiles. "I won't be going anywhere." He then hugs her. "I was only going to leave, if you wanted to. Since you don't, I won't."
Lucy bends down slightly and puts her head on Renos' shoulder, tucking the bridge of her nose against his neck. "Thank you, Robert. That means more than you know. If you'd like to stay over tonight, you're welcome - but by stay over, I mean take a blanket and lay on the couch."
Renos smiels softly at that. "You don't need to remind me, Lucy. I am..." He then moves to runs his fingers along her cheek and neck, down to her arm. "I am with you. I am trusting you. NOt to hurt me...either." He then looks up into her eyes. "Don't. I don't think I can take it."
Lucy looks quizically at the man, quirking an eyebrow up and asking, "You don't think that you can take what?"
Renos then looks into her eyes, and shakes a little. "I don't think that I can take the pain of losing you." He then looks down and scuffs his foot lightly.
"Aww, cookie, you won't be losing me, I promise. I have absolutely no intention of going anywhere." Lucy looks at his eyes with deep sincerity. "I'm not leaving Kingsdale unless something horrible happens. Is that good enough for you?" she asks, running her own manicured finger down his jaw.
Renos nods softly at that, and then looks into her eyes. "There are many ways to lose someone, love." He looks a bit vulnerable too. Like he's teetering on the edge.
Lucy leans down and gives him another kiss on the lips, then two quick kisses on the end of his nose and on his forehead. "GOodnight, Robert. THere are plenty of blankets in the closet, and the couches fold out, so you should be comfortable. Goodnight, cookie," she says with a slow wink.
