The Alibi
Emayn stands at the end of the bar closest to the stage, a small glass of an amber liquid in her hand as she talks to the bartender, a smile on her lips. The Alibi is jumping for a Wednesday, the dance floor is packed, and the DJ seems to have the crowd right where he wants them. Ema occasionally looks around her self, a practiced eye taking quick inventory of her changing surroundings, her eyes return to find the bartender helping someone else. With a shrug she turns around and leans her back against the bar, eyes closing as she lets the music wash over her.
Yet one more patron enters the club as Leonard passes the doorcheck with familiar ease and a casual greeting to those manning it. In no apparent rush to either join those on the dance floor nor those aiming for the more general floor of inebriation, he moves unhurriedly towards the bar. Even with three 'tenders, he's bound to wait a bit before he's able to make his request.
Ema opens her eyes and lifts her glass to her lips, finishing it quickly as she spins around once more to face the bar, the glass placed on the bar before her. She leans forward and purses her lips a moment as she waits, her eyes moving to her left as she takes in those around her, including a newly arrived man, "Who'd have thought you'd have to wait for a drink on Wednesday." she says idly, looking forward at the glasses behind the bar before turning to face Leo, "You know if this place is always so packed?"
Ema nods, "Makes sense, I suppose." she says as she looks around briefly, "Still, its good to know that there is a night life in this town." She looks over at you, her eyes appraising as she looks you over, "So what brings you here on a weekday night? No job to get too early in the morning?" she smirks, her attention turning as a bartender interrupts with a "What'll it be" she orders, double scotch, and then motions towards Leo, "I think he's waiting too." she adds with a wink.
"Thank you," is offered to the woman before Leonard notes to the bartender, "and a glass of the burgundy, please. The ninety, if you still have it." His wine requested, he looks back to Emayn. "Nothing of the day to day variety, no. There is some nightlife here, although it can be a bit loud at times."
Emayn notices the drink choice with an approving nod, "A man with taste," she looks around once more briefly, "Not what I expected to find in a place like this," she holds her gaze on you, watching you for a second, "I take it this isn't exactly your cup of tea then?" she waves over towards the DJ, "Here to get lost then?" she grins playfully, "Or looking for something perhaps?"
Leonard chuckles and rolls his shoulders. "I wouldn't dismiss the Alibi just due to the drunken, dancing crowd or the Dregs around it. It is a popular diversion for many from all over the city. Just here for a glass or two and maybe some conversation, myself. Trouble is likely all I'd find here and, for better or worse, I never seem to need look to find it..."
Ema nods, "From the neighborhood, and nearby establishments, I sorta expected something a bit different, is all," she pays for her drink as it arrives, and raises it towards you in a brief salute before taking a large drink. She looks back your way and something flashes in her eyes as she grins, her hand extending, "I'm Ema, your trouble for the evening."
"Leonard, the troubled, it seems." He offers his own introduction after only a mild hesitation before his smile returns, and gives the extended hand a pleasant shake. "A pleasure. What brings you to this fair city? I'm fairly certain that it isn't the weather."
Maya has arrived.
"It's just where I happened to be, where the job took me." she shrugs, as if that is enough of an answer, but adds, "I guess I was looking for a place where I could take a bit of a break, some place I hand't made too many enemies. This place seems to have fit the bill." she drinks from her glass slowly, eyes on yours as her smile holds, "Things are about to get crazy out there, so I thought I'd try to get a bit of the normal out of the way while I can."
Heading towards the bar, her steps as energy filled as normal, Maya jumps down the steps, the skirt flying as her boots thud to the floor, crossing the room quickly. The bar is forgotten at the sight of a friend, and she turns her path towards Leonard, her called greeting giving him a moments warning of an enthusiastic hug. "Leo!" For those unfamiliar with her hugs, the full body, enthusiastic embrace may be unusual.
Leonard is getting better. Maybe one day it will be wholly reflexive, and he won't even need blink. As it is, Maya's verbal announcement of of intent to greet is enough to cause him to turn towards the incoming hello. Her embrace is returned with a widening grin. "My thanks for the warning, Maya, although I think you might be spoiling me. How are you?"
Ema lifts her glass to take a drink, her lips almost appearing to frown as her eyes take in the gorgeous newcomer. She takes another sip as she watches the two interact, her eyes lingering a moment of the girl before she places her empty glass on the bar, her face returned to the pleasant smile as she takes a second to try to flag down the bartender once more.
"I didn't want to knock you down again." Maya's grin is broad, her eyes dancing with mischief. "I am off shift, and there is music to dance to." She waves a hand at the bar staff, easily gaining their attention and her usual fare of a purple drink, mixed with ice, and a straw, before she turns to his companion, her smile contrite. "I'm sorry! I'm so rude. Maya, I'm a friend of Leonards."
Leonard chuckles. "Well, other than the mud, it wasn't so bad. I'm glad you have the chance to come and... relax." Not exactly the most appropriate term for Maya, but he leaves it at that, turning back to Emayn. "My apologies for my distraction. There always seem to be some sort of troubles outside, somewhere, so I can understand the desire to enjoy some normalcy."
Ema finishes ordering and turns, her elbow on the bar as she leans, a smile on her face, "Its nice too meet ya Maya," she says, fairly convincingly, her eyes making their way to Leo and smirks, "An understandable one, I think, and one I should have been prepared for, I think, from the beginning." she grins as her drink arrives, and she seems to be happy for the distraction as she picks it up, giving it a stir with a finger before taking a sip.
Maya takes the words at face value, her smile widening into a grin as she takes a slurp of her drink. "Did the mud come out?" She asks Leonard lightly, amusement in her eyes belying the contrite expression on her face. "I knocked him flying, in the camp the other day." She explains quickly to the other woman, her mind jumping onto the next topic to distract her. The music, and her eyes fly to the dance floor, the temptation obvious.
Leonard gives Ema a smile that is rather apologetic, and perhaps too sheepish for his current predicament. Or due to it, even. "Don't allow me to spoil your mood..." Maya's question causes an amused smirk. "It did, although it also raised a few questions." He then nods with her clarification, followed by a lifted brow as she glances towards the floor. "Maybe you should ask someone to dance?"
"I'm sure it wasn't all bad for him, and definitely worth getting a little dirty for." she says grinning, something, almost consideration, in her eyes as she looks over the short girl, her lips suddenly obscured by her rising glass as she takes a sip, ice clinking in her glass as it tilts, "My moods are a bit harder to spoil than that, I think," she says winking over at Leo, "Though I appreciate the gesture." She looks from Leo to Maya, smirking now as she watches the two.
Maya's grin widens at the other woman's comment and she shakes her head, "Oh no, nothing like that. Leonard has a girlfriend. Beside he isn't my type." That casually crushing comment is softened by the grin she gives Leonard. "I think I might." She holds out her hand, releasing her glass, which floats neatly to the bar and settles there, before she turns away, heading towards the dance floor. Shortly, she is lost to sight, except for the occasional glimpse of jumping bunches.
Leonard watches Maya bounce her way into the throng and shakes his head as he turns back to the bar. In a stroke of luck, his glass finally arrives, just in time for a long swallow as he looks to Ema. "I DID mention trouble finding me, didn't I? I'm still not entirely accustomed to that, unfortunately. You are also quite welcome."
"So you did, I must admit, though, at first seeing you, this was not the type of trouble I expected from you." her eyes glance over in the direction that Maya just went before returning to Leo's face, an eyebrow arched as she grins, "A girl friend, yet out at a bar alone, where he meets up with a gorgeous open minded friend." she shakes her head in mock disappointment, still grinning, "Seems i'm the one in all the trouble here." she says before taking another sip from her glass.
Leonard looses a laugh at her comment, lifting his glass to her before taking another long draught. "Nor was it the sort of trouble that I ever envisioned, either. I doubt you are the one in trouble..." He then pauses, considering how that observation might be construed. "Not that you aren't... Well, I didn't intend any offense."
Emayn appears to be confident in herself, and doesn't seem to take offense as she smirks at Leo, "Now you've got me a bit confused, you sure don't act like trouble," she looks you over grinning, "Too polite for that." she hmms to herself as her eyes narrow on you, "So what do you do, Leonard, besides coming to bars alone." she smirks still, her eyes turning to her liquid filled glass before she takes a small sip.
"Very little, really," Leonard's shoulders roll, "and I probably come here more than I should, but the wine is quite good." His glass is swirled slightly as he continues. "I read and research, for the most part, with the occassional foray out to elsewhere. With the exception of recent supernatural troubles here at the city, and my attempts to somehow aid the refugees outside the gates, nothing terribly exciting to most people." He then chuckles. "I've been told that I need to develop new hobbies."
Emayn looks at you with a bit of surprise showing on her face, "A humanitarian, in this day in age? No wonder you need a drink or two." she shakes her head once, her eyes still on you, "You're a better man than I, thats for sure." she leans back against the bar now, her back touching the edge as she looks out into the crowd, "Must keep you busy, dealign with that sorta thing. No shortage of people looking for help." she smirks, shaking her head once more, "I've seen enough of that for a lifetime, I think, I'm looking forward to getting to worry about myself for a while, read some books that i've been putting off reading for far too long. Heck, I can't remember the last time I had the time to just sit back actually just listening to music. Too long ago, I think, but i'm ready to make up for lost time." she grins to herself as her eyes close briefly.
Leonard smirks wryly before hiding it behind briefly behind a drink. "We are all in this together, so to speak. Unlike the Coalition, I have no wish to make those around me suffer for my own benefit." His waxing political is halted by a lifting brow. "Oh? I can't say that you struck me as an avid reader. The library here is extremely well stocked, although they don't allow anything to leave." He can't help but grin. "Likely why it still contains so much. There is also a local radio broadcast here, with a wide selection of music. Vixen transmits just about every genre that I can think of."
"Now look who's making assumptions" Emayn says as she grins, eyes on you, "You'd be surprised at how much I hurry up and wait in my line of work, it pays to have something to read, or some other hobby to help pass the time." she shrugs, her body rolling to face you again, her elbow returning to the bar as she leans, "Of course, actually finding something in print worth schlupping around is harder than it might sound." she hmms once more, her eyes rolling up as she thinks, "Not sure i've heard that station, but I think my tastes, at this point, are more narrow than general. I like what I like, and wouldn't mind a hour of it in a row."
"My apologies." Leonard replies, though not awkwardly apologetic given her grin. "What is it you do, if I may ask? Or what hobbies do you enjoy? Hurrying up to wait is something I find myself involved in more than I'd like. Maybe you have some suggestions I might try."
Ema thinks on that a second, taking the time to drink from her glass before she responds, "I guess you could say I'm Problem Solver. As far as specifics go," she shrugs, her left arm gesturing apologetically, "There are none, I'll do just about anything a client feels he needs, from special deliveries and finding old friends to retrieval of lost or stolen items, even just listening sometimes." she finishes her drink and slides it to the table, pushing it away from the edge, "Hobbies are something i'm looking into as well, I play alot of games, I guess, but really, I've not really had a lot of free time to develope any real hobbies."
Leonard nods as he listens. "Interesting. You sound very multi-talented, and it must be exciting to have such varied tasks. I was hoping that you'd have just as interesting suggestions for recreation, though." Not that he sounds especially distraught as he takes a last sip from his glass before setting it down. "Do you dance?"
Ema chuckles before she can stop herself, her eyes bright as she grins, "Yeah, I've been known too, though this isn't the type of dancing you'd normally find me doing." she rolls her eyes at herself, "Pretty lame joke, on my part, but to answer your question, I do at times. Its an acceptable way to let off some steam, i've found, provided i've had a few drinks." she peers down at her glass, then back at you, still grinning.
Leonard's face splits with a wide grin. "What, jumping around looking like some sort of madwoman isn't your style?" The wry tone suggests that he might not be especially coordinated nor fond of that, himself. "It required much alcohol for me to brave such the one time I did so." Now his brow lifts in some curiosity. "What sort of dancing do you prefer?"
Emayn grins at you, her head shaking, "Apparently my sense of humor leaves much to be desired, though I'm going to put some of the blame on this cute aloof angle you're running with." she smirks, "The dancing I tend to do usually a bit more," her face changes a moment, and her eyes become colder, almost feral, as her voice become low and husky, her fists balled in front of her to complete the effect. "Let dance, big boy," the implied violence clear. Her cheeks redden and she looks a tad sheepish as she grins up at you, "That sorta dancing." she says softly, her hand reaching for her glass before remembering it was empty, "Seems I'm almost ready for "real" dancing." she says, emphasizing the real.
Leonard blinks as her jest is clarified, and his angle night not be all that aloof as her cheeks are not the only pair that flush briefly. "Oh! Certainly not as friendly a step as I thought you meant. I'm even less adept at that sort of pairing, and much more prone to falling down."
"Lucky for us both then, Leonard, as I'm not really looking for that sort attention right now." she smiles bright, taking a tiny step closer, "So what does your girlfriend think of you asking strangers at the bar to dance?" she asks, her eyes moving from your neck, to lips, to eyes before she leans over the bar, and motions briefly for another, the bartender nodding his understanding.
Now his cheeks far surpass their, and her, prior shade of red. "Actually, I was referring to a slower dancing, but..." Leonard only now realizes how his words apparently seemed to her, and the mention of his prior attachment certainly doesn't help whatever image of bravado he might have had. "Where she here, at this moment, she'd probably be laughing herself to the floor. Other than that, she's rather ...encouraging."
Ema licks her lower lip slowly as she reaches for her freshly arrived drink, taking it carefully in her hand and raising it to her lips. She looks over the top of her glass at you, her eyes mischievous. Her cup returns to the table, "Encouraging huh? Now there's something you don't see every day." she looks over towards the door, then back to you, "So she wouldn't be getting up in my face right now flirting with her man?" her head tilts as she smiles, amusement on her face as she tries to figure you out.
Leonard considers a legitimate and, hopefully, casual response to that. The time also allows his face to return to a more normal, pasty shade. "She would prefer that I be more... aggressively social. I'm sorry if I've confused you." He manages a rather sheepish grin and retakes his glass. "I'm no good at this, and thus the poor attempt to offer my toes for crushing."
"Well aggressive can be good, I can see why she'd like that." Ema grins at you, her eyes moving down to your drink as she estimates it's contents. She takes a moment to take a sip from her newly arrives glass before setting it down, "You're conflicted, which I like, confident at times, and then completely shy others." she takes a step closer, "I admit I'm more than a little confused as to your situation, so I hope you don't mind me trying to figure it out?" she smiles still, her eyes on yours.
"Thank you. I think?" Leonard's grin becomes notably more earnest than sheepish at what could be a compliment. "I'm often confused of it, myself, so if you can decipher me, please feel free to share." He is, indeed, confused, on several levels. His instinctual shyness warring with a nascent, growing bit of ego, the latter of which seems to be winning at the moment due to her wholly unexpected, presumed interest. Then, of course, there are the other conflicts of interest involving his mix of uncertainty and longing for the aforementioned Vixen, her encouragement for him to be more assertive, even flirt, all wrapped up in the fact that he really has little confidence or experience in what he's doing. Yes, there's alot floating around in there.
Emayn's lips purse a bit, a grin splitting them eventually, "I'd accept your offer, were we in any other venue, I assure you, I'm more of closer, slower dancer when doing it for fun, and as much as I'm interesting in see what you got, maybe I can offer you a raincheck." she smiles as she holds your eyes, trying to guage your reaction, "I don't want to give the impression that I'm not interested." she reaches out as she inches a bit closer, her hand coming up to brush something off your chest, something you're not completely sure was there, "Unless this is more your style?" she says looking out onto the dance floor, "Very little risk of hurting others out there, I'd imagine."
Leonard now fully returns her grin. "Ah. Well, I admit that I do prefer that, myself. Not as loud on the ears, nor taxing on the feet. Rainchecks are allowed." A brow arches curiously after she steps in and apparently cleans his shirt, his eyes moving from hers, to lips, dress and back up. "Although, I could attempt to convince the DJ that a change in tempo would be wise?"
Ema's eyes go wide as she shakes her head, "Not unless you want to incur the wrath of the dancers out there, not the least of which your little Maya." she grins as she takes another drink, her glass nearly empty now, "No, i've found it best to not interfere with someone's else work," she looks over at you again, appraisingly, "Unless I've made another wrong assumption, and you have some sort of clout here?"
Leonard now laughs, shaking his head. "I doubt that I have any clout anywhere, least of all here. As for Maya..." He glances briefly towards the floor, but fails to spot any conspicuous, bouncing black pigtails or buns. His eyes then return to Ema. "It wouldn't surprise me if she already left, and most likely with company. She's very talented at making new friends, from what I've seen. Although there are all the others who might take offense, so you do have a point."
"I'm just thinking of you're safety is all, I'm a few drinks in, and couldn't guarantee your safety against an angry mob." she grins as she lets out a chuckle, "Seems she moves fast, and knows what she wants, I can appreciate that," she adds, turning so that her her eye scan scan the dance floor, but she quickly gives up the search and returns to face you, her shoulder brushing your chest as she repositions, "So a more classical dancer, are you? Have one in particular you like?" she licks her lower lip again, her eyes on yours.
Leonard lifts his nearly empty glass in salute. "My thanks for your concern." He then renders it fully empty and sets it aside without looking away from her. "I envy her in many ways, I admit. As for dancing, the more simple the better. Standing close and shuffling my feet, I can manage, along with a few basic steps." Her contact has not gone unnoticed, and he can't help but think it isn't unintentional. The dancing discussion also brings pleasant thoughts of continued close proximity to mind. A player he is not, but he is still male (and an inexperienced one, at that), with all the accompanying fallacies and predilections.
Ema watches as the drink empties, her eyes following the glass as it lands back on the table, "Oh yeah?" she asks grinning at you, her eyes betraying a bit of mischeiviousness, "What ways are those?" she asks, refering to the smaller girl, her smile wide, and showing just a little tooth. She reaches up, and tucks her hair behind her ears, first the left, then the right side.
"In that she knows what she wants, and has the guile to seek it," Leonard admits, "without hesitation or hindsight..." A fresh smirk then appears, drawn from the combination of Emayn's features and actions. "One of these days, I hope to learn where women get that devious look... and why it is so terrifying and enticing at the same time."
"Its not Deviousness!" she says, doing her very best to look devious, "In my case anyway, I won't speak of others." a smile returns, and she shrugs, her more playful expression returning, her eyes on your face, moving from feature to feature, "Its the look I get when I make a decision, so maybe its decisiveness?" she hmmms as she looks away, "Still, its cause for worry, at any rate." her voice teasing.
Leonard ahs and nods, yet does not appear entirely convinced. Of course, none of this has seemed much of a complaint on his part, either. "I see. Dare I ask what you might have decided, then? Or what is so worrisome?" He attempts a playful air, but there is certainly curiosity present as well.
Ema looks at you with with a grin, her head cocking to the side a bit as she shakes her head. She reaches out with a hand to attempt to brush your cheek with her finger tips, "You could ask, but I'm probably not telling, wouldn't be any fun in that." she smiles innocently, "That in and of itself is reason to worry though, at least a little." her tone is playful, almost teasing.
Leonard may be surprised, even startled at the gesture, but he doesn't back away. In fact, the cheek beneath her fingers distorts as he smiles. "All the more reason to ask, then. What is on your mind, Ema? Curiosity has a tendency to get the better of me, and I am attempting to worry less."
Ema nods her approval, "Worrying less can't hurt, And my curiosity to see how much you mean that seems to have gotten the better of me," she leans in closer, her hand reaching out to touch your arm idly, her eyes locked on yours as they search for something, "What if I was to tell you I decided you might be worth the trouble that's gonna accompany ya." she smirks, the hint of something feral flashing briefly in her eyes as they meet yours.
Leonard's brows lift slightly as he meets her gaze, perhaps with some effort, since his eyes try to lower more than once. His throat shifts in a wineless swallow before he replies, softly. "I would say that ...if you want something, strive for it..." It is what more than a few have suggested to him, so it seems hypocritical not to pass it on. The words might be too bold, were it not for the rest of him. The wolf, he is not, although the lamb is trying to file points on its teeth sometimes.
Ema leans forward, rising up on her tip toes a bit, her cheek brushing against yours as she speaks softly into your ear, "I know i've had a drink or two, so forgive me for being so forward if I'm miss-reading you." her cheeks push against yours as she smiles, and her body moves up against yours, "Last chance chance to set me straight" she says pulling back a bit, eyes bright with anticipation.
Her apology is perhaps just as unexpected as much of the rest of evening has proven. Typically, Leonard is the one apologizing, or overzealous in his assertiveness, or downright overloaded by incoming predatory mischief to harsh to process of be comfortable with. A veritable cacophony plays in his eyes as they meet hers, drop to her lips once more, then return. In lieu of what would likely be a stumbling verbal reply, her mouth draws his attention once more and he leans towards her. It isn't his gaze that seeks her lips this time, however, as bold rises to the forefront. Maybe assertiveness will work in his favor, for once.
Emayn grins, her facing tilting up as she nose touches yours, her lips pulling back just fast enough to stay ahead of yours, making them give chase just a moment before she allows the kiss, her body rocking up against yours as a strong arm pulls you closer, her mouth opening. She holds the kiss a bit longer before pulling away, her eyes flickering over to the bartender briefly before she looks back up to you, her arms pulling you away from the bar, and into the crowd a bit more, her lips parted as she grins at you, her finger indicating for you to come closer.
Leonard's resolve almost falters with that bit of chase. Almost. He offers no resistance to his dragging along, as he's much more accustomed to that. After following her further into the throng, the crooked finger draws him in that much closer. A brow quirks in speechless query as he seems to follow her lead in more than just movement, and opening his mouth for words he is not yet confident enough to do at this moment.
Her grin stays as she meets you half way, her arms snaking around your neck pulling your head to hers as her toned body pushing up against you as she sways to the music, her lips finding yours as she continues the kiss. Her lips break contact once or twice as she bites are your lower lips, kisses finding their way to your ear, which gets a nibble too, "So what would your girlfriend say about this?" she asks before her tongue tracing the outer edge of your ear.
Leonard is rather uncautiously eager the second time around, and her adventurous affections seem to melt most everything but the arms that reach about her waist. It takes some moments for him to formulate a reply to her, likely due to the unconscious shivers she provokes. "I... have no idea... and I'm not sure that I..." Even irrational thought consumes too much effort at the moment. As it trails off, he attempts to mimic her efforts on her own ear in return.
Ema lets out a pleased noises as her lips kiss their way down your jaw line, finding your lips once more, and kissing them, her strong hands and fingers pulling your towards her, rubbing as they go, "I thought as much," she says, her face on yours, her hips moving, against you, her smile turning into a huge grin, "What is it you want now, right now." she says, eyes locking on yours, her nose still next to yours, "Don't think, just speak" she urges.
"You?" As if Leonard can think much, considering he's having enough issues speaking. It also requires no psionic ability to surmise his thoughts, not when she's pressed against him as she is. "I'm not an expert at this, though..." A vague warning, but truthfully covers just about any interperetation.
Ema approves your answer and starts to lead you towards the entrance of the club, kisses and touches prodding and pusshing you as she makes for the door. She fishes into her pocket and hands a slip to the coat and gun check, before her hands are back on you, pulling you towards her. When the attendant returns, Ema shows her first sign of embarrassment as she looks at you apologetically as she pauses to re-arm herself, a proccess that is surprisingly long. She lifts her skirt and slowly sliders the last knife into its sheath before smiling up at you, "Ready to get out of here?" she asks, biting her lower lip and looking at you with large dark eyes.
Leonard weathers the wait rather well, after the ...energetic prelude. The fact that his eyes drop to observe her reseathing doesn't hurt, either. Her mix of bold and timid remains intriguing, and in many ways, comforting, and he nods to her question. Now that he has his breath and speech more under his control, his own lack of confidence begins to re-emerge. "Where to?"
Ema flags down a cab, her arm out as once turns a corner, the door opening and she almost pushes you inside before pouncing in after you, "Golden Carafe Please!" she says while laughing, her lips quick to find yours as the cab starts on its way, "back to my place, if you don't mind." she says between kisses, "Its pretty bare right now, i've just moved in, but I think it'll do!" she grins, kissing continuing as a hand begins to move us slowly up your inner thigh.
Leonard can't exactly offer any objections, even if he had wished to. Which, given his nonverbal responses, he doesn't. On the bright side, it seems they are neighbors, and if (or when) she boots him out, he won't have far to walk.
The cab ride is thankfully brief, and after paying the fare, the two pour themselves out of the cab and do their best to make it too Ema's apartment without making too much of a scene, a task they fail at. A brief struggle with the door finally goes Em's way, it opens and she pushes you through. The scene that follows is just as you'd expect, Emayn's passion animal-like. She's considerate and teasing and playful in varying degrees as the night progress, and several times she's seen you climax. The third time is where things change, she feels your body tense and she leans forward, being on top, and smiles feral-ly as a beam of light appears in her hand, dagger shaped and wicked looking, the edge sliced through the pillow to you left, the edge close to your neck as you breath, "Careful now," she says finally, her naked, sweating body conveniently on top of you.
Leonard, in nearly every sense of the phrase, hangs on and enjoys the ride. While not totally inept nor uneducated, his own attempts are very likely tame in comparison. Still, he does try, and, for a lanky, librarian sort, he actually has a fair share of stamina. Runing away builds cardiovascular endurance, afterall. Of course, even pleasantly exhausted and with little blood residing in his brain, the sudden appearance of sharp objects causing him to blink. "Uh... Ema?" Now he isn't entirely certain this was the greatest idea...
Ema's eyes are wide with passion and hunger, her free hand lifts to bring a finger to your lips, making a soft "shhhhh" sound, Can't have you casting any spells on me" she says with a grin, "Makes me start to shake, and we don't want that, not yet." Her hips grind against yours as she watches you, "Try not to squirm, I can assure you the touch of this blade is death." she says enjoying being on top. Her hand touches your chest, and she seems to breath harder should you begin to feel more scared. Her body language and actions are almost soley directed at encouraging a fear response from you.
Given the situation, and her expert encouragement, Leonard obliges. He is not likely quick enough to do much anything before she might make good on her threat, and not bold enough to test it. Fear is apparent in his widening eyes, nearly masking the lingering arousal. Nearly? Once again, speaking seems like a bad idea at the moment, and so he doesn't.
Ema moans softly, her eyes on you, her non psi-blade holding hand on your chest as she pulls PPE from you, about a little more than half of what you posses draining away before her eyes close briefly and she twitches happily, "Thats a good boy" she says, twitching on you, her eyes locked on yours, looking satisfied as she grins, "Don't worry, Its almost over" she whispers, extasy lacing her words, her hand on your chest moving up to touch your cheek as she attempts to force a mental block over the events starting with you finishing. She looks down at you panting, smiling down, "You with me, Leo?" she asks, giggling, "You seem to pass out for a minute there.."
Leonard blinks... and then blinks again. He takes stock of his surroundings, and given that they happen to include a nude, sweaty Ema atop him, this is not a bad thing. "Um... wow?" This is his most articulate description of the recent past. His hands lift absently to her hips. "That was..." He grins. "I think I'll stick with 'wow.'"
Ema grins as she collapses on top of you, her head resting on your chest, "I think that about sums it up for me too." she says, grinning. Her body slides to the side, and she rests her head on your shoulder, "I think this could be the start of something fun." she says, chuckling, her eyes closing as takes a few deep breaths. "I think..." Leonard exhales a sigh, hand opposite her lifting to run through his hair and unplaster it from his forehead. "I don't know, Ema... I've never done anything like this, before..." Obviously he doesn't realize just how true that statement is, but what he does know is concern enough. "Not that I didn't have fun, but..." Another sigh as he's not certain what to say now that libido, curiosity and ego have left enough room for things like rational thought and common sense.
Ema rolls over on her side, her head propped up on her elbow as she grins over at you, "Its all right, your first taste of freedom can be a bit unnerving, I think," she says licking her top lip purposefully, "You acted with your feelings and not rationality, and just look at how much fun it was. Scary, but fun." she smiles as she stand, unashamed of her nakedness, her body perfect toned and muscled, and on her back, you can see her full tattoo, a large dragon, wings outstretched covering her back nearly completely. She looks over her shoulder at yo, "Can I get you something drink? Um, Water?"
Leonard, rational or not, still appreciates the view, without embarassment. "An interesting piece of art, there... and yes, please..." He sits up, perhaps too quickly, swooning slightly, and a hand rubs his forehead. "I think I might have dehydrated myself... not that I'm complaining..."
Emayn fills two glasses and returns to the bed that is still sparwled out in the middle of her living room, handing one to you before taking a long drink, finishing the tall glass in one try, "You did well, you deserve to be a little tired after your performance," she grins at you considering, "You know, this doesn't have to be a big deal, and I can promise you you're not going to hurt my feelings if you're freaking out a little bit." she shrugs smiling, "I knew what I was getting myself into, and I make no apologies for my actions." she winks at you, and smirk serious and playful all at once, a truly odd combination.
Leonard takes the glass gratefully, and gulps most of it down before replying. The compliment draws a smile. "Thank you. Or you're welcome? I'm not sure which is most appropriate. I guess that I never expected to do anything like this, much less for... fun. Apparently, I'm about the only one. Maya obviously has no compunctions, although I wouldn't know, personally. Even Vixen tried to warn me that things were just for fun..." Now, a groaning sigh and he slumps. "She's going to kill me. Or hate me. Or both..."
"Probably, though i guess it depends on how you choose to handle this situation." she sets her glass on the floor and lays back on the bed, hands crossed in front of her, "You enjoyed this, I think?" she rolls her head to look at you, "But you hardly know me, might want to be careful about throwing something away because of a little sweaty fun." she grins, her hands moving down her body as she teases you.
Leonard nods, but far from certainty. "I did, and I don't want to ruin anything, but..." Words trail off as his eyes follow her hands and he smirks as he struggles to look back to her face. "You are very distracting, you know. Honestly, I'm not sure what to do."
A wild grin washes over Ema's face, her eyes carefully taking their time looking you over, "Oh? Whats wrong with a little distraction? You didn't seem to mind a little earlier." she lets out a small laugh, "Would you feel better if I covered up?" she asks, making a face.
Leonard can't help but grin. "I still don't, really. It's just..." He considers a moment, eyes looking to his glass before he empties the last of the water. "There is the question of what's next, I suppose."
Emayn grins before shrugging, her hand coming up in a defeated gesture, "As you wish, what do you want to do? I don't want to make your life difficult," she considers, smirking a tiny bit, "Any more difficult, i guess." she rolls over on her side and watches you.
His gaze shifts back to her, starting somewhere near her shins and taking the long route before meeting her eyes. Leonard then sighs as he reclines back on his side, facing her. "Maybe I am simply thinking too much. I have a habit of doing that, especially when I am utterly out of my league." A grin follows. "I've no idea what I should do, but a few ideas on what I'd like to do. What is it you want, since you have much more notion than me."
"Me? I'm probably the worst person you could ask that question too," she says, still smirking, "My motives are all going to be selfish, as I don't know any of the other people involved. I'd say do what you have to be happy, and if part of that entails an occcasional visit to me, yay for me then."
Leonard chuckles and nudges her shoulder. "I was referring to your motives for you, actually..." His brow arches in curiosity. "So I am not simply a singular result of a bit too much to drink? That could be dangerous." An intriguing sort of danger, rather than the screaming and painful kind, judging by his tone.
"It might have started that out way, but you performed well enough to earn yourself a return visit or two," she grins wickedly, "Its much easier for me if I don't have to go trolling every night." something in her eyes is wild as she continues, "Don't get me wrong, I'm not fallen in love, or any such thing, but I find I like you and wouldn't mind seeing you naked again.
Leonard's grin isn't quite so wickedly pronounced, but it's there, and wide. Nothing like a healthy dose of ego-fluffing to improve one's mood. "I'll definitely keep that in mind, and I didn't expect that you had. Neither have I... and I think I much better understand the concept of... casual fun." That realization only helps with the inflation, in many respects, although he does sigh, wearily. "I suppose I should find my clothes, though, before I pass out. That was the most draining experience I've ever had, I think." He sits up, taking the opportunity to look her over again. "I'd hate to force you to shove me out of bed for some reason."
"Need me to call you a cab? You live near by?" she asks, smiling as she watches you hunt for your clothes, "You'll not be hiding from me now, after this, will you," she asks as you finish dressing, "I'll see you around?"
Leonard glances over his should as he dresses well enough to be presentable, but leaves his cloak draped over one arm. That arm motions to the door. "I'm about four rooms down, across the hall, actually." He offers a wink. "No, I don't plan on hiding, since I doubt that would be possible even if I wished to."
Ema's eyes light up, and that wild look returns for a moment, "Good luck, Leonard, you know where to find me if you want to blow off some steam." she grins and waves as you open the door and disappear into the hall.
