Flare has just come from the direction of the river walk, not sure where she is going today. She wears her usual clothes and just seems to be out for a stroll, not really looking like she is heading for any place in particular.

Traversing the town in her gown Tirzah is perhaps more visible today than most. She seems to be looking for someone as she scans crwods and faces. Though it is clear by her erratic directions she is not greatly suited for the task.

Flare pauses as she spies Tirzah and raises a brow. SHe turns and makes a line to intersect her. "Well now don't you look all fancy and beautiful in that gown." she says with a brightness in her features.

Tirzah nods to Flare quickly as she conintues her scans. "Yeah, trying to get noticed in a respectible fashion today. Its working as you just proved, but I was kinda hoping for someone in particular." She begisn to explain before giving up the search for now with a sigh. "How are you Flare?"

Flare smiles, "I am well, waiting to get my new toy, but other than that was just wandering." she giggles a little, "Well you definitely will get noticed in that, though I would find it hard not to notice ya whatever you were wearing, it does flatter you a lot." she adds, "Someone particular?"

"A spy. I raided a Colaition camp two weeks ago and made off with a magical artifact of untold power. But now I've heard of another camp someone else attacked shortly there after. I need more information." Tirzah explains to Flare as she leads to the park and its pleasant benches.

Flare nods and walks along with her, "Are you in danger?" she asks with concern, she is one of the few friends that she has after all. She walks along with her and nods, "Sounds interesting."

Tirzah shrugs, not looking like someone in danger. "No more than usual I dont think. If they just wanted me dead I'm sure they can snipe me off. But that wouldnt get them the artifact back. it would make it much harder to get back actually. So I think they accept my holding of it for now. But i'm pretty sure i made it onto their radar regardless."

Flare smiles a little, "Well if you need help protecting it or anything feel free to call on me, I will help if I can." she says softly, "Don't want anything happening to one of my few friends."

Tirzah nods with a bright smile. "Oh you're so generous Flare. I'll remember that should they get too close and you could hang onto it for me. I'm sure that with a dozen of my fireglobes you could protect it indefinitely." Tirzah compliments with a wink.

Flare grins and giggles, "Yeah." she shivers a bit, "They might not be ready for something like that. Especially since all I have to do it hit with one and then can supercharge it." she shakes her head and then smiles.

Tirzah grins as an idea comes to her. "Next trip out you should come, we can try the talent on my fiery touch and flame friends." She notes, with a purely devious expression.

Flare smiles a little, "We might want to practice first. Might not work on teh flame friends and not sure about the fiery touch unless I increase the flames of whatever you touch after you do. Might be worth a shot though."

Tirzah nods and has a thought. "A good idea, we could go try it out in the large firing range some time if you like." Tirzah offers, when she has another thought... "oh Jeeze Flare you a great inspiration. I think I would like to place the artifact in your custody for a bit, so I can draw more notice safely. Also I htionk maybe I should offer combat training at the range. We all know I can dish out a hell of a lot of opposition. Gives people something real to hone their skills on."

Flare nods and smiles, "Sure. I am getting a flaming sword finally, the first one should almost be done, will help a bit, I am really good with a sword." she says and giggles a bit. She nods, "I can do that."

Tirzah nods and reaches under her gown to pull out the golden artifact and discreetly hand it to Flare. She also hands her the satchel, full of fire globes. A girl can never be too careful after all.

Flare nods and takes them and flushes as she reaches under her gown and smiles a bit, "I will keep it safe." she says as she looks at her. Tirzah grins widely. "I know you will. I will come back for it soon, just gotta get to the bottom of this other occurance."

Flare nods, "No problem." she says and smiles, already thinking about where to keep it. She nods and looks at her for a moment, "So how are you doing otherwise?"

Tirzah sighs at the otherwise.. "Otherwise, I'm managing. Sage has been disconcerted of late as she had a negative vision of us in the coming times. I think its linked to this so I want to get past it so we can move on."

Flare nods, "I can imagine. Hopefuly things will be fine and visions don't always have a way of being true, since things can change yes?"

Tirzah nods confidently. "Yes, they can be altered. But she is right to be concerned until she knows they have been."

Flare nods and smiles a bit, "Well there is that." she says and has a satchel over her shoulder. She thinks for a moment, "Well if there is anything I can do, other than this, please, just ask."

Tirzah nods without pause. "Of course, but I don't forsee anything yet. Doesnt mean you cant just come by and be friendly though. My door is always open." Tirzah invites as she makes it to an untaken bench and takes a seat.

Flare nods and moves to sit next to her, "And likewise, can always come over and soak in the tub, I love that thing and Xander wouldn't mind." she smiles a bit and leans back.

Nemain whistles softly to herself as she strolls up from the south. Hands tucked deep into the pockets of her flight jacket. Her gaze flicking over the street as she walks so as not to step into too many unfortunates.

Tirzah raises a brow. "A tub? Like in the bathhouse? but in your apartment? You really have moved up in the world. I think Sage and i will definitely have to take you up on that offer, sooner rather than later." Tirzah exclaims, definitely looking enthused.

Flare blushes a bit, "Well have a place at Coventry. We have a jacuzzi hottub, you really should see the place." she grins and flushes deeply. She looks up and waves to Nemain as she realizes who the whistler is.

Nemain's attention is grabbed by the wave. A hand lifts in turn to wave back as she starts that way still whistling softly. 'Yanky Doodle' seems to be the tune of the day as she trails off finally. "Ahh, if it isn't my two favorite people and customers."

Tirzah grisn and nods to Nemain. "Yes, we are just stting here, conspiring against you." She jests with a devilish grin. But knowing Tirzah that could be as much truth as jest.. "How are you Nemain? Bit of a musician I see?"

Flare smiles a little and grins, "How is the sword coming?" she asks and then smiles, "Two favorite people? Do we need to get you out more?" she asks and giggles a little.

Nemain wrinkles her nose playfully at Tirzah. "Conspiring against me? Trying to get me a date or something?" A soft chuckle furring the edges of her voice as she shakes her head. "Not much of a musician, just needed to step out before my head exploded from studying the spells still." Then winking to Flare, "Your sword is coming along. Waiting for the gems to charge right now as someone had moved my charger."

"We so need to get her out more. I still havent figured out what activity she enjoys the most. A downright enigma we have crafting our things for us." Tirzah explains to Flare as she beams a crafty smil at Nemain. "What do you think Flare? Girls night at your place?"

Flare smiles a little, "We could do that," she says and nods, "If it won't pull you away too much, but you could use it. Food, makeovers, hottub." she grins and giggles a bit.

Nemain looks a bit skeptical at that proposition. "Bu... Ohh, bollacks. You two aren't going to let me plead no suit, are you?" Her arms folding as her cheeks flush. "Why does the thought of a make over scare me a bit?"

Tirzah cackles loudly. "Hell no. That just means I get to take you shopping for one before hand." She declares, looking absolutely delighted. "I'll bring Sage too and I can watch you both squirm in your skimpy bikini's."

Flare smiles a little and grins a bit, "If you let them wear anything at all." she teases and it is obvious that she is teasing too.

Nemain actually whimpers at the thought of squirming in a teeny-weeny bikini, pookadotted or not. Her arms crossing as she hugs herself. "Then it is probably a good thing that I have an old two piece as it is. Though it's been a bit longer than I'd hoped since I last had it out to see hte lgiht of day."

Tirzah actually looks disappointed to here Nemain would avoid going shopping with her and Sage. "Come to us in a drab dilapidated old thing? I wont have it. It doesnt have to be embarassing, but it atleast must be of this era." She dictates with a strong look to Nemain.

Flare smiles a little, "And it if it and old one, could fall apart on ya and then you would be naked, best to get a new one." she says with a smile.

Nemain laughs lightly, "Sometimes the falling apart on you can get interesting in and of itself." She offers a hand out to Tirzah. "When would you want to do this shopping trip then. Though it does frieghtne me a little to think on it."

Heading up the street from the south, Ash cruises on his beat up hovercycle and heads it over towards the Enhancement Clinic. Setting it down he kills the engine and keys it's startup code to locked before he steps off of it and takes a look around to see if there's anything worth noting going on on the street at an in depth look.

Tirzah ponders a moment, before nodding slightly. "Well Sage is taking some time to herself to clear her head right now. In about a week?" She asks as she takes the extended hand but remains seated onm the bench, unsure of Nemain's intentions.

Flare smiles a little and nods, "I will make sure to get Xander out of the house."

Nemain gives Tir's hand a light squeeze as she cants her head. "So it'll be four of us in swim wear at this party? Or should I pack a bit more than just that?" Obviously it's been a long, long time since she was to that sort of party. Makes you wonder what things were like for her at this school she went to.

"Did someone say party?" Ash asks, ears perking up as he overhears the conversation thanks to good old technology. Heading over towards the trio of women he lifts a chin in greeting to Flare and Nemain, "Is this a private party?" He asks curiously with a smile curling his lips.

Tirzah shrugs. "Well any treats or drinks you may want to bring. I'll be bringing fudge, a special brew of my own design, and a delightful massage oil." Tirzah details with temptuous expression.

Flare smiles a little, "And I am providing the location and the hot tub." she looks at Ash, "Girls night out," she says, "So unless you want to have a surgery." she winks a little at him.

Nemain offers Ash a roguish grin, "I think I have something on hte workbench that could do the nip-tuck and not leave you bleeding even. Though I'm not sure how to augment your bust line at the moment." Her attention shifting back to the girls as she hmms. "I could see about maybe whipping something up. Though I do have to warn, I'm not the best cook."

Ash laughs, "With you and Nemain there with massage oil, I might just consider it." He says with a roguish grin and an answering wink to Flare. "I guess I'll just have to sneak by and watch all stealthy like." He teases. "How have you been Flare? Haven't seen you in a while."

Tirzah grins that the picture the other girls paint for Ash but holds her tongue. Sebastien would be shocked. "Maybe you have a 'speacial' toy to share with us Nemain." She suggests for what the technowizard could bring to the party.

Flare nods and stands, "Well I should go get these globes into a safe place." she says to Tirzah and smiles a bit, "I will see you all soon."

Ash chuckles and shakes his head, "As if the world weren't bad enough already..." He says to himself and then he turns to head away once the party seems to disperse or head off. Walking back over towards the enhancement clinic Ash sighs and leans against his hovercycle a moment.

Vargus emerges from the museum and stops, looking up at the sky. He checks a display on the back of his right wrist and looks up again. He lets out a long, drawn out sigh as he clomps down the first few stairs, stopping and pausing, as if catching a bit of odd conversation on the breeze. He shakes his head a bit and stop at the end of the staircase, stretching his back out and nearly falling over backwards.

Everyone one else suddenly leaving for one reason or another Tirzah gets up off her bech to return to the main street, taking her south past the museum.

Coincidence being what it is, Vargus rights himself from his near-epic stretch and overcompensates for the move just a bit, causing him to lurch forward right as Tirzah crosses in front of the museum. He blinks hard and throws his arms out to help stabilize, "....woah. That was a bit much." he mumbled to himself as he slowly returns to a normal standing position.

Tirzah's reaction is already underway before Vargus' recovery, automoaticly drawing from her link to prevent to collsion but floating the uniformed man a bit off the ground. "Oh, sorry sir." She says, to the inconvenience but before she gets to letting him down recognition flashes across her expression. "Vargus? Whats with the get up?"

Vargus's head tilts a little to the side, looking down at the ground, which is no longer under his feet. He looks up to see Tirzah, and a confused expression turns to recognition and his eyebrows quirk up. "Tirzah! Hey!" then another look of consternation and he looks down at himself again. "Huhh... getup? It's.. humm... cold?" he angles his head a little so that he is looking at Tirzah with one eye, similar to how birds examine something.

Tirzah shrugs, still neglecting to let the old friends feet reclaim the ground. "I dunno I guess, the braces the cape, the fabric, looks like a militarty uniform. You where stuff like this often? I know I often notice such details late.."

Vargus chuckles, flaring the cape out for dramatic effect. "Huhh, I wear stuff like this all the time.. I'll switch to something warmer, when the snow gets out of here, but the rest of it is pretty standard-issue for me. For a minute, I thought I was still wearing my jacket.." His brow furrows, "Ohhh, man.. I left it in side." He turns to head back into the library, and his torso twists, then his little feet start to move, but of course, he isn't moving anywhere, susupended as he is.

Tirzah smiles and nods, "Well I'll let you get back to that then Vargus. Nice seeing you." And with that the hold is released as she turns to continue on her way, leaving Vargus to hit the ground running as it were.

Vargus does indeed hit the ground, and then stumbles and slams into the steps of the museum. "....ouch." is his profound statement on cause and effect. "Hang on, I'll just grab it and be right back..." he disappears into the building, to return a few minutes later, now clad in a large leather stormcoat with the KDPD logo on the lapel.

Tirzah stops after a few more paces, deciding to indulge the odd shifter. Though as he returns with a KDPD jacket on she cant help but cackle. "Where did you steal that from?" She asks, thinking it a joke.

Vargus laughs as he descends the steps again to return to the street, "Oddly enough, that's the first thing that someone else said to me when she saw it. And she works for the department." He runs his hands down the front, smoothing the leather down and stops, tilting his head to the side. "Is my reputation really that bad? I know artifact hunters sometimes get a bad rep as thieves, but... eesh." He shakes his head, stoping his musing outloud and looks back to Tirzah. "All the new 'probies' get them. Kinda swanky, humm?"

Tirzah nods with a grin. "Well I am no theif, I merely feel more qualified to safeguard a magical artifact than Mr Prosek." She clarifies, missing that Vargus was refering to himself. "So you're a man of the law now, how is that going?"

"Ohhhhh, yeah...." Vargus chuckles. "I heard somewhere that you liberated a little somethin'-somethin' from the Skulls. Wish I coulda been there... that's kinda my thing, or that's what I was trained for anyway." He clairfies, then nods. "Working out so far. Jelani's wasn't really giving me enough of a thing, 'ya know? Not many people looking to go Elsewhere. So I figured I'd tap into another aspect of my training, and get into some investigative work. It's.... good, I suppose. It's a lot of coffee-fetching and research, so far."

Tirzah nods, wearing the impsih grin of a child who stol the cookie jar. "Well apparently I'm not the only one. Someone else hit another site a week after mine." She notes after nodding to Vargus description of things. "Same here, looking to do more going out for myself. Also considering offering engagement training."

Vargus's face squenches up. "You mean like... for getting married? That, well, hey if there's a market for it.." He shakes his head to shake off the odd thought. "So can you say anything about the fob you snagged? What is it, what's it do? Where'd you hear about it? Did someone hire you to snag it, or did you discover it and figured it would look better on your shelf then Joe's?"

Tirzah frowns, not looking impressed. "Of all the mixups.. No, combat trainging you doofus. And I actually don't know a great deal about it. I know its got a huge well of energy, and its a key to an even greater item. But, it also needs another component that is unknown. And I think it looks far better on my shelf."

Vargus grins and nods his head. "Sounds pretty interesting. Know any of the history behind it? Is it local, or an Import?" He gives the word a bit of emphasis. "If you're ever looking to do some research on it, let me know.." he pauses, "..and I wouldn't advise going to the Guild for any help. They're really only out to help themselves."

"Its an import. I had Numo take a look at it and thats what he came up with. He's very interested in paying top dollar for any further infomation I can gain on it though. Apparently its nature has to do with dimensional travel.." Tirzah divulges, an experienced observer might even be able to point out the bait she places on the hook.

Nemain appears again from the south with a small bundle tucked under one arm. Seems she did run off to do something after all. Crazy TWs, after all."

Raising a hand up to stroke his chin, Vargus's eyes twinkle. "Reaaaaaaaalllly.... you don't say." He pauses, "..if Numo's looking to pay for information. He must be interested, indeed." he stuffs his hands into the pockets of his stormcoat and pulls out a pair of insulated gloves, and slides his hands into them. "Well, you can reel me in, 'cause I'll definatly take that bait.. research and artifacts are sorta my specialty."

"Then I'll have to retireve it from safe keeping so you can take a look. Two days from now perhaps?" Tirzah suggests with a triumphant smile. "I'll see you then." And with that she's off.

Nemain waves after Tirzah as she takes off. "Alright.. I'll show things to you later then." she calls after Tir. Then glances back towards her chatting companion. "Hello again, sir."
