Renos is sitting in the mechanic's bar, at the bar and is leaning forward against it. He doesn't seem to be too bad off, as ni he is not in mourning or anything, but maybe a little exhausted with his shoulders slumped a little. Some people talk to him and he smiles a little and talks back, but its short conversation and not really lasting.

The lovely lady Lucy is sitting at the bar, her panty-hoed legs folded lithely before her, her top leg swinging back and forth. She appears to be popular with the boys at the bar tonight, having about half a dozen of them crowded around, listening to her tell some story or another over top of a martini glass. However, as one of the men moves, her sight line settles on Renos, and she gets up - with apologies and blown-kisses all around. With a swagger in her hips and a tight fitting skirt visible beneath her black trench coat, she asks permission to sit down at Renos' table and does so without waiting for an answer. "Renos. How do you do today," she says through lowered lashes, sipping her martini.

Renos then looks over to the lovely woman and smiles. "Why, hello Lucy. Been hoping that you would find me again." He then chuckles lightly. "I am doing pretty good." He then leans back from the bar and then turns around so that he can view the bar a bit more. "Would you care to join me at a table? I have some news, and I figured a bit more...privacy might be in order." He then looks at the men, and a woman or two.

"Oooh, intrigue!" Lucy says in her husky alto. "Why of course, I'd love to hear what you have to say, Renos. I'm always up for a good ride." She winks at the man. "What might this be concerning? Or should I wait for a table before I start asking quesitons? Preferably one away from the band, please. It hurts my hearing."

Renos smiles and then offers the lady a hand. "Oh, nothing so...political, I am afraid. Just changing situations." He then chuckles. "Though its fuuny you should mention ride." he then moves to a table near the back with Lucy, if she wants to come along. He then looks at her with a bit of a smile and moves behind her chair to help her sit down.

Lucy slides into the seat and allows Renos to scoot her into the table. "Oh, and a gentleman twice around. How nice," she says as she flutters her eyelashes slowly at the man. Leaning forward on the table, spilling cleavage onto its surface and leaning her elbows on the top of the table, she lays her chin in her hands. "So, Renos, what is this mysterious ride that you're talking about. And please -" she lays a hand on Renos' arm "- politics usually bore me, so don't apologize, sweetheart." She offers a wide, full-lipped smile.

Renos smiles widely back and then moves to sit across from her. He then slides into the seat and looks directly at her. "Well, I have a hovercycle that flies, or a tk-wingboard. If you want that kind of ride." He then moves to place a hand on her arm and lightly touches it with his fingertips. "Oh, just a change in my personal situation. It seems that the psi-stalker and myself have gone our seperate ways." He says with a bit of a flirt in his vocie.

"Are you speaking of that woman who thought that she was hiding behind a menu at the Silver Fork? I didn't realize that she was a stalker. That could be a minor inconvenience for me.. she bites her lower lip in a small, sexy way, looking briefly down at Renos hands." Then looking up through thick lashes at Renos, she asks, "So, just what kind of ride are you suggesting, Renos? Hopefully not a thigh-ride. At least.. not yet." She winks.

Renos chuckles a little at that. "What I am suggesting is that we try to go out a few times. Try out how we fit, and then take it from there." He then nods softly. "Yeah, the woman behind the menu. And if she bothers you, let me know. I will take care of it. You shouldn't be in trouble for something I chose to do. Mainly, at first, I am offering a ride on a vehicle."

Lucy smiles a feline grin, and says, "Oh, I can handle her myself, Renos. I have no problem with that, believe me. I've learned to protect myself, in my line of work and all. Still," she pauses, "there something to be said for prophylactic action. So if you would speak to her, I suppose I would be grateful." She drops a high-heeled shoe and runs it up Renos' calf. "I would be /very/ grateful. But don't get me wrong, Renos. I may have my professional life, but I conduct my personal life with much greater aplomb."

Renos smiels at the playfulness of the woman. "Well, I know you can. I remember the um...Silver Fork." He chuckles softly at that. "I am still wondering where you kept some of those." He then moves his hand down to her leg up against his a little and then lightly touches it. "I do appreciate the fact that you can keep your lives seperate." He then looks down. "I don't want to feel like I am second."

"Oh, no, honey, if we happen to click together, you'd be the first. Of course, I may mean that in more ways than one." She smiles a toothy smile. "People in my line of work don't have very many legitimate relationships. It just feels unnatural. But we'll see how this plays out," she says over the lip of her martini, moving her leg back to her shoe. "Tell me more about this Katsumi. She's a D-Bee, obviously? I must admit, I'm not a fan of D-Bees. I don't hold any hatred for them, I just don't care for them so much. I know that makes me sound like a horrible person though." She looks down at the table through lowered lashes.

Renos smiles and then shakes his head slowly. "No, I don't think she is, actually. Dedees are those who are from another dimension, or were. Yet, psi-stalkers, from what little info there is, are human." He then looks at her with a bit of a smile. "I realize, a little, that it might indeed be a bit difficult. I don't even mind if you flirt a lot. I just..." He then looks down. "I deserve better than to be a doormat."

@emit Lucy reaches over the table, spilling even more bosom onto the table, though she seems quite oblivious to it. Taking Renos' hand in hers, she says, "Oh, sweetheart, you'll never been a doormat with me. If you were, you'd know it already." She twitters, covering her mouth with her hand. Then, her deep emerald eyes turn sad. "Is that what Katsumi did to you? Made you the doormat?"

Lucy reaches over the table, spilling even more bosom onto the table, though she seems quite oblivious to it.

Renos nods softly at that, and then looks away a little. "She tells me that she wants another man, and that she wants them more than me. And thats after I threatened her. She didn't tell me anything at all." He then looks back up to meet her eyes and stares into them, holding her hand in his hand, gently. "Thank you. I can...I can live with that."

Lucy tilts her head to one side and offers an understanding, doe-eyed smile. "Did Katsumi dump you today?" Lucy asks bluntly,"or has this been going on over a long period of time? Because you seem like a big strong man. Why did you let her use you like this?" She raises her martini to her lips and drains it. The band pounds and pounds and continues to pound until Lucy looks toward the stage and the speakers suddenly go out. "Oh, I suppose that their cable popped out of the wall." She looks back to Renos in more of a quiet voice, and purrs, "How unfortunate." Renos laughs quietly at the obvious insincerity in her voice about the music. "It can be quite loud." He then takes his free hand to get the ringing out of his ears by wrigling his finger in it. "Well, to be honest..." He says, a bit quieter. "I didn't know until she told me, and then right after that, I dumped her. She didn't get a chance to dump me."

"Oh, a proactive man. I like that," Lucy says, running a perfectly-manicured nail along the bottom of her lips. "So, what exactly does a techno-wizard do here in Kingsdale, Renos? I'm fairly new here, and have yet to meet many people, though I've already threatened the lives of four of them." She looks off into the distance for a moment, then smiles sweetly at Renos. "I know that you fix things and put magic into things, but what kinds of things? I have a bit of magic in me. Could I use one of your.. constructs?"

Renos nods softly at that. "Indeed. Hrm...well, I can show you some of the things I have built and modified." He then smiles at the coy little gesture. "Well, it seems like threatening lives is part and parcel in this place." He then smiles a bit gently. "Well, you can take almost any technological device, and convert it to run on magic energy. You charge it, and it runs out slowly. And uses run it out too. Also, a tw can set magic spells into tech devices and then anyone who can use magic can use the spell, whether they know it or not."

"That's all very fascinating, Renos. Perhaps my background will be useful after all," Lucy says with a smile. "Just how much energy does one need to operate one of your machines?" At that point, she leans back in her chair and asks a passing waitress for another martini - dry, removing her bosom and cleavage from the table. "I've heard that you need special gemstones or something like that to make these machines work? I don't suppose you'd like to give me some of those gems?" She winks.

Renos laughs gently at that. "Tell you what, if I have any left over, I would be more than happy. But i don't have any right now." He then nods softly. "It depends on the amount of energy needed to be produced for the conversion. Or for the amount of energy needed to power the spell." He then smiles a little. "When we get back to my room, or the storage area, I will show you some of them."

"Oh, I think that the storage area will be fine for now, Renos. I don't want to rush into anything, you know." Lucy accepts a martini from a waitress and pays her from a gigantic wad of cash that she pulls out of her purse and then quietly slips back. She reaches across the table again, laying her hand on Renos' and squeezing. "I hope that you understand. Despite my occupation, my heart can be broken very easily. And besides, what would the town think of you, going out with me and all? Why, I've heard about Dr. Kelley..." she growls out the name "and that little tart Aimee. Certainly you don't want to be put in the same situation, no?" She unconciously flutters her eyelashes as she sips her second martini.

Renos laughs quietly at that. "I will do my best not to break your heart, Lucy." He then smiles a little. "My apartment serves as my workstation for the moment. So, its the place I do business, as well as fun." HE then laughs at a reputation. "What reputation? I doubt most people know of me. And if they do, they don't know my personal life. Katsumi has more of one than I do."

Lucy looks at Renos through lowered lashes, contemplating. She then releases her martini and sets it on the table. "Well then, perhaps we could meet at your, place of business, as it were. You're such a sweet man, Renos. How have you not been scooped up already? There must be other eligible women out there. I know of Katsumi, which I suppose is over, and I know of Aimee, which may be difficult, that little tart, but I have heard of a Caliopa, though not met her. And a Raina, though again, I've not met her. There must be others as well. How are you single?" She reaches over and runs a soft, delicate hand down Renos' jawline.

Renos smiles a little at that. "Well, been with Katsumi for a little while, and like I said, recently through with her. And I immediately thought of you. Cali and I...got off on the wrong foot. And I have heard that Raina is...well, not quite interested in men. It seems as though many of the ladies have found quite a few of the men." He then smiles and looks down, a bit embarrassed. "Thank you, I try."

Lucy leans back in her chair, her martini once again hiding the lower half of her face, as she asks, "What do you know of this little Aimee?" She looks off to the side and pouts and the now-quiet band stage. "You know, they sound much better now than they did before. But seriously, what could this little tart have to offer that I don't? It only disturbs me because I've always been able to have any man that I wanted, and yet this Kelley rebuffed me." Renos then ndos softly at that. "Professional pride?" He then hrms a little. "Don't think I have heard the name too much, honestly. Maybe...yes, down at Moe's tavern. Talk to the bouncer, a cat man named...um...what was his name?" He then scratches his head. "Don't think I ever got his name, honestly." He then chuckles. "Which is funny, considering."

"Oh, so this Kelley isn't such a big man as the rest of the town seems to make him out to be? HAH!" a harsh, loud laugh, before turning her eyes back to Renos, eyes wide. "Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to do that. I'm so embarrassed." She looks down at her thin, toned stomach and makes a motion as if she's wiping crumbs off of it, though she's clearly had no food. In perhaps a long time, she's so thin. Not rail-thin thin, but sexy thin. So perhaps she has been eating, after all. Sort of hard to tell.

Renos blinks a bit, a bit surprised at her reaction. "Its, um, all right. Look...would you like to get something to eat?" Indeed, its a rare time that his eyes have left the shape of her body in the least. "I am getting a bit hungry, and I...thought you might to join me...for a bite to eat." He then smiles a little, a bit nervously.

"Of course, Robert, I would love to get some dinner with you," she proves that she really does remember the man's name. "I'm unaware of any other quiet dining establishments than the Silver Fork, however. And I'm not sure just how happy they would be to see me again," she offers with a glittering, almost magical smile. She sets her second martini glass down on the table, empty. "That does it for me - two martini's is my limit."

Renos smiles a little at that. "Well, I would invite you back to my place, where I would cook for you, if you want. But that might be a bit forward. And I can show you some of my conversions while we are there. I can guarantee that I won't search you for weapons, unless you ask me to." And he gives a bit of a wink.

Blushing slightly and covering her mouth with one hand, Lucy laughs quietly. "Oh, Robert, I'd be delighted to see your apartment, though at this point, I'll kill you where you stand if you try to search me for weapons." Her eyes don't change at all as she makes the statement, remaining doe-eyed throughout. "But it would be lovely to have dinner with you."

Renos laughs a little at that, and then stands up. "You'd try, my dear, you'd try." He then offers her his hand. "But I don't want to force you to do anything. If you want to do something, than I would be more than happy. But I don't want you to do anything you don't want to." He then smiles a bit gently. "I would rather not give you a reason to try and stab me."

"What makes you think that I would /try/ and stab you, Robert?" Lucy asks through lowered lashes. "But I'd love to have dinner with you." The tall, lithe woman rises to her feet, gracefully like a wisp of rising smoke. Extending a hand out to take Renos' hand in hers, she follows him around the table.

Renos chuckles softly at that. "Or shoot me." He then smiles a little to her. He then guides her around the table and begins to escprt her out of the bar. There is, he is quite sure, quite a few looks as the good-looking woman leaves with the man. but then, he's never minded the attention either.

"Yes, or shoot you," Lucy smiles at the man, following him out of the Nut and Bolt.

Opening the door, the first sight one would see is the space of the apartment. The halls of the arptments are lighted with magical devices, and the apartment is no different. He then puts his hand on a switch and the lights come on, but its palm flush upon the plate. "Ah, welcome." He then moves aside, and the next thing to notice is the work area. ITs a big drawing board, with papers and notes all over the place. next against the far wall, is a electronics workbench. There is a holo tv against the other wall, as wella s some chairs that seem clena and rather comfortable. To the right is the kitchen. "Come in, make yourself at home."

Lucy looks around for a place to hang her coat - odd, and place her purse. Finding none, sue sets the purse down in the seat of one of the rather utilitarian chairs. Then comes something that is really odd - she strips off the trench coat, revealing ten pistols and a Vibro-Knife hanging off of her in various harnesses. She's wearing a simple white sweater and black leather mini-skirt. Not finding a place for the coat, either, she simply lays it across the back of the same chair. One might expect her to remove the weapons, too, but she makes no motion to, and simply picks up her purse and sits down where it had lain. "This is an.. interesting apartment, Robert."

Renos blinks and then smiles a little, coming along behind her to take her coat and then her trench coat. "Why, um, thank you. Like I said, I mainly work here. I would like to live here a bit more, but that won't be possible until I can afford to get my own building. I have priced it, and it would cost one-hundred and fifty thousand credits." He then moves to the closet and begins to hng up the coats. "Would you like me to take some of your weapons too? I wouldn't mind." He then walks over and reaches behind the chair to get a holster. He then hands the holster over. "Check that out." He then smiles and hands over a wlik's laser pistol.

"Oh, it's a Wilks! How cute!" Lucy says, turning it over in her hands. "Is this really what you carry with you?" she asks, wide-eyed. "Well, I suppose if you have your magic weapons, you might not actually need this, perhaps? If not, you should really consider getting something more powerful. This barely scratches most armor," she says, suddenly a professional gunsman. But that evaporates away as she lays her elbows on her knees and her head in her chin, looking up at Renos. "So, what are you going to cook for me?"

Renos chuckles softly at that. "Check it again. And, to me, its not only a wilk's, but a focus. I can fire its normal laser, a lightning bolt, a fire bolt, a fire ball, or anything else I want to focus through it. And besides, if I wanted firepower, I would use my converted L-20 pulse rifle." He then smiles and bows lightly. "What would you care to eat? I have a few things that I can cook. Different meats and veggies."

Lucy smiles. "That is impressive. But remember, you can't carry a rifle through the streets of Kingsdale. Only pistols," she grins widely. "They never said how many, though. I love chicken, if you have chicken, Robert. And peppers. Oh, I love peppers. And onions." She pretends to shiver with delight.

Renos chuckles softly at that. "Then I will cook a light chicken, baked, with sauteed peppers and onions." He then walks to the kitchen, and begins to start preparing the food. "Well, I don't need too many weapons in the city. My one doubles as many. Its one of the advantages of being a techno-wizard. I focus my spells through my tech. I can make myself super-strong, chain someone, hide from prying eyes, protect myself, or attack someone."

"Oh, chain someone? I wouldn't have guessed that you were into that kind of thing, Robert." Lucy laughs into her hand again before resting it on her bosom for a moment. "Just how strong is super strong? And what does 'protect myself' mean? That's rather vague." Lucy keeps looking toward the kitchen before she says, "Goodness, I really should watch out for my figure. Wouldn't help business much if I lost it."

Renos chuckles and then begins to get the peppers and onions ready, chopping them up slowly, with a few pinches of spices and butter, then sets it to frying in a sautee pan. "It means I can create a super strong field around my body, like armor. And I can give myself the strength of a supernatural being. Like, when Iw as out in the woods, I used that spell to lift a tree up about this big around." He then gestures to the diameter, which is about 1 and a half feet across.

"Oh, Robert, you do go on." Lucy says, but with a strange, slightly bored expression on her face.
